Bio

I'm an adult (most of the time) so I enjoy mature content and good stories. Most of the time you'll find me in some Sci Fi thing or another but I do sometimes end up in fantasy roleplays and ,in very rare occasions, slice of life stuff. I've dabbled in other sections of the GUild over the years but Casual Sci Fi seems to be my comfort zone. I'm probably the least intimidating person you'll ever meet and I'm always open to suggestions. I look forward to making some great stories with you all!

I almost feel sorry for making Spark so mean. The others are going to have a hard time with her.

"Come along girls." Vlad said grabbing Adalina's arm. "We don't want to keep the others waiting." He pulled Adalina down the hall expecting Cassandra to keep up. He was confident that she would do what he wanted atleast for the time being. He knew sooner or later someone would lash out again. He lead the two girls to the gym where the other teens waited. "Be seated. So far you had class and gym. Right now we would normally have lunch but you have all lost that privilege today. So we are moving on to power development. Which only some of you will be allowed to participate in."

Spark made a note of just who exactly had cost her lunch that day. "So these fuck ups cost me a meal..." She glared at them so she would remember their faces. She wouldn't kill them, but she may be inclined to make their lives much more painful. She made sure that was clearly written on her face so the others would see.
Spark lost interest in the class lesson after Maxwell evaded her debate and Flippy got a tazer in the back. Fortunately it wasn't long until the gym session started. She was amused by the tazer incident not just because the idiot had it coming but because tazers actually felt good now that she had her powers. Regardless she made her way to the gym like a good little girl and decided to ignore the bantering pansies.
Just about to head off to work.

"You can't always kill the person you are dealing with Sparks." Maxwell scolded sternly. He didn't like the way she was treating this as it was unimportant. It was his job to teach them. He would not be held responsible for them not learning the assign lessons. Sparks had the most to lose even if she didn't know it yet. She was the only one how had really chosen to be here. "If you keep that attitude you will lose your cigarettes and other privileges."

"My name..." She finally looked up at Maxwell. "... is Spark. There's only one of me, get it?." She really didn't like Maxwell but she could tell that he was that he was probably afraid of the 'Good Doctor' to have tried to threaten her like she was a child. "Before you get your little panties in a twist let me ask you this. What can a person possibly do to you if they're dead? Let me put this in a way a Uni* can understand. What tactical advantage do you gain from negotiations when you have the means and the manpower to eliminate the threat all together? It would be weakening your own position while giving your enemy room to maneuver. How's that for a tactical analysis G.I. Schmoe.?"

*(Uni in this case is shorthand for Uniform and is a reference to uniformed law enforcement officers)
two posts and I'm already butting heads with a guard :P
I just realized that a lot of the other 'experiments' are like petty criminals and Spark is a convicted felon and a murderer.

"Who among you know how to negotiate? Who among you has every negotiated?" Maxwell asked the teens. "Like I said this skill wont be used often. Because you are considered special ops it is likely most of the time they would have tried this technique already but sometimes a different person trying to same technique can make a difference. I would encourage you to think about using this skill with Vlad. If you do it right you can get something for doing what he wants."

"Tch..." The question seemed stupid to Spark. "Why would we bother negotiating with our enemies when we can just kill them and do whatever we want?" She hadn't spoken to anyone in particular but she was loud enough that the others would hear. "Besides negotiations are easy. You give me what I want and I don't kill you. See? Easy..."

Okay, just doing a quick headcount, and, if there are no posts by tonight (GMT) I'll be throwing something down to air the IC out.

Hi Hi
Name Sandra Kraft
Gender Female
Age 21

Physical Appearance

She stands about 5'2'' at about 118 pounds.

Skills Sandra is a merchant by trade and so she has a good grasp of arithmetic and economics as well as charisma. She's not unfamiliar with using a dagger but has never had any training. By far her most valuable skill is her mercantilism but she does also cook and has yet to marry.

Personality Clever and self-sufficient, Sandra does her best to make sure she is getting a good deal out of any affair. She is a sweet girl and considerate of others, not exactly intimidating in any way but this can be a blessing also. Once she's at the negotiating table her innocent looks and cheery attitude can mask an attack that can take even the best merchants by surprise.

Biography Sandra was an orphan born in the highlands somewhere. Her adoptive father was a merchant who owned a small shop in the town of Laythe where they lived. Sandra started working as her father's apprentice almost as soon as she could walk. She learned the craft from the ground up. It didn't take long for her to become competent enough to run their shop on her own. By the time she was 17 her father would regularly leave on day trips to the neighboring towns to bring in shipments while Sandra would run the shop.

It seemed like everything was going their way until one day her father didn't return from his usual day trip. Some people might dismiss it as being late but Sandra knew her father was a meticulous man and was always punctual. If he hadn't shown up yet it was because something had happened to him. She tried to retrace his steps but it was as if he had disappeared from the face of the earth.

She had to find out what happened to him so she started to investigate. This lead to the discovery of other disappearances. Sandra couldn't just leave it alone so she sold her family shop to get enough capital for a horse and cart with plenty left over and has been putting her merchant skills to use in order to support herself. Recently she has brought furs to a town called
