Bio

I'm an adult (most of the time) so I enjoy mature content and good stories. Most of the time you'll find me in some Sci Fi thing or another but I do sometimes end up in fantasy roleplays and ,in very rare occasions, slice of life stuff. I've dabbled in other sections of the GUild over the years but Casual Sci Fi seems to be my comfort zone. I'm probably the least intimidating person you'll ever meet and I'm always open to suggestions. I look forward to making some great stories with you all!

I suppose I can read along with you guys at least. This looks like a good bunch of people.
Just saw that you are no longer accepting characters (Q.Q) Life is cruel...
Finally! I was trying to post my CS the other day but the guild was having a fit lol.
Anyway here it is.

Name:
Emilia Alders / Emilia the Healer
Race:
Human
Gender
Female
Age:
31
Appearance:

Height – 5'4"
Weight – 121 lbs.
Class:
Healer
Skills:
Medicine- As a healer Emilia has studied the works of many great physicians from all of the races of Sironde with the exception of the Orcs which, not surprisingly, have very few written works available to anyone outside of their Clanship.
Alchemy- A very useful school of study for making tinctures, poultices, and other mixtures of benefit to healers and their patients.
Cooking- Not the most glamorous skill in the world but when you taste her rabbit stew you will be glad for it.
Powers:
Restoration Magic- Emilia has devoted much of her studies in this field and is considered to be highly skilled. Most notably used to assist in healing, particularly when time is of the essence or a wound is too close to vital organs for a manual operation.
Psionic Magic- A necessity for someone who has no skill with weapons at all, Emilia relies completely on this skill in order to defend herself. She is skilled enough to use push and pull spells to great effect in combat. She has also found it useful for restraining particularly erratic patients during medical procedures.
Weaponry:
N/A
Other equipment:
She keeps a satchel (in appearance) that carries her assortment of surgical tools, various medical instruments, a handful of common remedies, her medical journal, a bedroll made of wolf fur, and a coin purse with 150 coins. She also has a waterskin that ties to her belt and a flask (in appearance) that sits in a pouch attached to the strap of her satchel filled with pure amonia.
Apparel:
Leather & Wool robes with cloak (in appearance)
Silver Circlet (in appearance)
Silver Armlet (in appearance)
Leather calf-high boots lined with wolf fur
Personality:
Emilia is educated and worldly. As a healer she dislikes violence but is no stranger to it. She can take care of herself and her knowledge of anatomy makes her a formidable opponent despite her lack of any real combat training outside of first-hand experience.
Bio:
Emilia was born in the cold little village of Esterfell. She lived with her older brother Jonathan who now runs the bar at the Spotless Rock Inn. Most of her childhood was spent patching up her brother who often came back from his previous job as a miner with cuts and bruises all over. This started her on the path of a healer as she found that she had a talent for it. Later when she was in her teens she apprenticed with the local Healer who taught her all about medicine, alchemy, and restoration magics. She learned to cook as part of her apprenticeship as well, not a necessary skill for a healer but the Healer she apprenticed under insisted that she learn. Once she was skilled enough she set out across Sironde to practice her trade and see the world. She traveled from Esterfell to Westoces, Esminster, Haestead, Havenfall, Sethrop, Sirondius, and then traveled north once again back to Esterfell making her living healing the sick. She learned Psionic magics early on in her travels as it was very apparent that bandits and slavers didn't care if she was a healer or not.
I think this is an opportunity for Spark to be unpredictable again.
Spark had decided she was going to just sleep until the old man bothered her with orders but then, she heard some noise. It was coming from the door. She recognized the sound of the lock being picked which meant that it wasn't Vlad so it was probably Alastair coming in for some fun. She quickly got up from the bed and, since she didn't want to waste time getting dressed, went straight to the door to surprise Alastair. Once the door finally opened, however, there was a perfectly normal human hand pushing it open. That meant it had to be someone else. Spark grabbed the hand and pulled as hard as she could to get the mystery person in the door then went to wrap her arm around their neck and pin them against the door. The door was closed before anyone in the hall might have seen anything. Spark whispered to the mystery person, apparently a girl, so as not to attract any unwanted attention before she knew what was going on. "I wasn't expecting a young girl to come sneaking into my bed tonight so who the fuck are you?"
Who's door is Cassandra trying to open? Wouldn't it be great if she accidentally broke into Spark's room?
Spark followed along to her room just as she had been ordered. She didn't want to give someone else a chance to push her buttons. It was good that they would be separated for the time being. When she got to her room she threw off all of her clothes and lay naked on her bed staring at the ceiling. "what should I do now?" There wasn't much to be done but there was something else. Cassandra had cost her not one but two meals because she couldn't keep her mouth shut and do as she was told. "That little brat is a pain in my ass." It was going to take a lot to get them all working together. Also, what the fuck was wrong with those two in the back of the class? Whatever it was it didn't concern Spark. Alastair was the team leader so she would let him worry about that. Maybe Alastair would drop by her room later and she could let off some steam. That would definitely be a great help.

At some point I want Spark to be able to do this^
"...not to mention they could always have fun on the side." that one made me laugh.
What Cassandra didn't know is that everything that happened during her demonstration was intentional, except for the light bulb thing. Spark had been altering the lights in order to put on a show for everyone because that's what Vlad had ordered. In fact, Spark had constantly been using her powers since she acquired them. It was like learning to use a new gun or knife, she was always practicing in order to master her new tool of the trade.

"You think whatever the fuck you want then. I don't have to explain myself, tch." Spark leaned back in her chair with her hands behind her back. These people were really getting on her nerves and she was doing all she could not to start a fight right there in front of Vlad. It was strictly forbidden for Spark to attack any of the other experiments unless she was explicitly ordered to do so. He had made that clear when he recruited her. Spark tried to ignore them by staring at the ceiling but all she could think about was breaking noses. She needed to be away from them soon or she was going to explode.
