Probably both to be honest. Someone as brash as her needs reliable contacts so I doubt she would trust more than a handful of brokers.

I'm not sure if I should be posting this here but I just wanted to say that I'm really impressed with all the work that's gone into this site. It makes me happy to know that we have such a dedicated architect creating this refuge for all of us roleplayers out there. Keep up the good work Mahz we all love you for it. Edit: Maybe that should be a new section? Something like "Letters to Mahz" where all of us can write nice things and you can look at them whenever you're feeling blue!

I think it would be nice if Kei knew Morales the info broker. A good thief stays informed, although it's more likely they never met in person so I thought they might know each other by their aliases instead. Edit: Now that I think about it some of the others might recognize her as "The Selfie Burglar" since she has posted her face all over the net.

In regards to my CS; Yes Kei is a modern day cat-burglar. She steals things because it's fun and she's good at it. I took inspiration from real cat-burglars for her character. From a psychological point of view, her kleptomania began as teenage rebellion against her guardian (her aunt) who, for all intents and purposes, stood for authority and conformity in society. It later grew into an obsession and she soon found out that her obsession was very profitable. Naturally, she used her skills to make a living just as someone with a talent for carpentry makes furniture to make ends meet. Her calling card of taking a selfie before a heist and leaving clues is all about making her work exciting for her. It's more a game of 'catch me if you can' rather than just putting food on the table. A calling card also acts as a symbol, proof that they are real and that the things they do will be remembered. The 'Cat-Suit' is something derived from pop culture but it also makes sense for a thief to have something like it that is flexible enough to allow a wide range of movement but also skin-tight to avoid any snags and reduce the wearers silhouette making them more difficult to spot.

Each of these photos were taken prior to a heist and were embedded with clues as to what would be stolen.

Attire: Typically casual urban clothes with simple solid colors and sometimes shirts with print. All in all a very unassuming style that makes her fit in to the crowd almost anywhere. She has been known to dress up for a heist or when the situation calls for it but otherwise sticks to her 'plain clothes' approach to fashion with only a handful of accessories. She also has a blue and black catsuit she uses while 'on the job'. Kei also keeps a number of disguises with wigs, contacts, and other accessories to hide her identity in public.

Personality

Outward & Innate Personality: Generally friendly and optimistic to everyone. She tries her best to get along with everyone and never start trouble. In truth, she's come to terms with the fact that she lives for the thrill of the heist and most other things are mundane to her. She does find some entertainment in video games and romance but she can never pull herself away from a good heist.

History/Bio: Kei's parents were killed in a car accident a year after she was born and so she was effectively raised by her aunt, a respected police officer in Osaka. As an act of defiance to her lawful aunt Kei began stealing. Small things at first like clothes and manga. She would always take a selfie right before she stole anything to build up her courage, this would later turn into her calling card. As the years went on she started to get more and more daring. Her heists became more complex, more expensive, until eventually she made her mark with InterPol after stealing an amulet belonging to a certain Egyptian pharaoh worth over six million in US dollars.

So life kicked me in the butt everyone. I lost my girlfriend and my job so I won't be quite as active while I do some serious job hunting. Sorry if I caused any delays or inconvenience.

Sorry every one. Life kind of caught me by surprise and now I've lost my girlfriend and my job so I have to do some serious job hunting, Unfortunately I think I'm going to officially close this thread and declare it dead. I'll still be around the Guild but for now at least I won't be very active. Again, sorry for what's happened but life just happens sometimes.
