Nychta's eyes widened when she heard what Cassius said. Her blush showed even through her black fur and she was lost for words a bit. 'Tsk you... you joker..' she stuttered frustrated, a bit soft so she wouldn't wake up Zariana.
She curled up, looking away from him to hide her embarrassment. She was glad when he left the room, breathing a sigh of relief.

Mina kept shushing the girl softly, pulling against her, into her fur and her warmth. There was nothing she could say to comfort her, not in this state, she knew that. She kept her against her, simply nodding at her harsh, hateful words towards the things that had brought her so much misery. Eventually light snores reached her ears while the sobbing stopped and she looked down to see the girl sleeping below her.
She looked at Cassius, blushing lightly as she noticed hoe close he was, looking back at Zariana. 'I'm going to lay with her for a while, can you wake me up at dusk?' she asked softly as she lay down, curling around the pup.

She noticed the girl huddling against her more as she spoke of not having a father, her voice sounding more upset than before. When the girl bursted into tears she felt choked up, her eyes saddening. She moved the girl under her stomach and between her paws, curled her tail around her and her muzzle pressed against the pup's fur. 'Shh... It's okay little one.... shh...' she shushed softly to calm the girl down.

'Talking is fine doll.' she smiled warmly, her fluffy tail curling around the pup comfortably. She looked at Cassius as he brought in some rabbits and smiled thankfully. 'So, what's your name little one? Where is your family?' she asked her warmly.
