Curios, but what would the story be? Can you give an example of one story arc? This all seems very sandboxy...
EDIT: are we only limited to playing those characters you listed?
One arc involves shutting down a major faculty where a new type of sentinel is being made, this involves Bishop from the future. This line of sentinels were created just for the X-Men and can pretty much cover all them, they will be similar to the ones in Future Past (Movie) but won't have the DNA of that mutant, it will all be done on research and forced experimentation of mutants. For the most part that arc is about preventing a major threat before it happens and to protect the mutants within the X-Men and outside the X-Men. Generally I aim to get this RP to have the X-Men clear there names and put the dream of Professor X back on track through any method they can until the humans listen, learn and know where they went wrong.
No I prefer if you played OC characters, but I have had these two players before and I know one prefers playing Wolverine and X-23 so I let them.
Story:
In a world where Graydon Creed is president of the USA where humans are on top and mutants are below them in all areas of livelihood. His first act was to remove the mutants in the US and then expand to other nations as mutants were seen as a sickness. The Sentinel program by Bolivar Trask roamed the streets in large numbers and variants to capture and if it comes to it kill any mutant seen or found. Graydon Creed was killed on stage while giving a hate speak on mutants, but did the mutants really kill him or was it a ploy for the world to hate them more? In response the humans captured Professor X during his peace speech, tortured and killed live on TV. The X-Men did not know this was happening until it was too late. In this world the X-Men are hunted as they are criminals with long rap sheets and are constantly making strong moves against the humans. In ways where they feel threatened, but should they be?
Some X-Men have longer rap sheets then others; some are just hunted for being with or knowing the X-Men and anyone who joins them are also hunted. Cyclops, Wolverine, Jean and a few others have the highest rap sheets.
The humans use mutants to do things they can’t such as fight the X-Men though the humans do still give it a try. They do this by placing their family under danger or placing the mutant themselves in danger, normally a bomb that is placed around there neck. They can stun them and they can kill them too but that is not an easy feat. The U-Men, FOH, MRD and Purifiers all exist here, each having places they rule over and so the other organisations cannot get involved. There is no X-Base but there are many X-Hide outs scattered across the world like an underground network and the Blackbird exists as well, in fact two exist. The X-Men are split into two groups but meet every few days, these teams are named Blue team and Gold team. The leaders being Cyclops and Storm, Wolverine & X-23 would go solo together time to time.
What will the outcome be for the X-Men, can they show they are not evil but misunderstood or will they all be killed or thrown in prison one by one until none are left standing?

So what is the plan for the mall, are we going to lock apart of it down or pass through. I am not sure if it was brought up or not so asking now will help me find out. This will help me out with my second characters intro as well as find out if NPC will be introduced.
The woman in blue listened as Dog began to talk, learning one or two things about the twins. Kaylah tried to imagine the two voice acting to a comic and it was kind of making her want to chuckle. Of course she held it back and soon imagined the pair doing some roles based on various comics. Her brain had cooked all that up within a short time though her brain turned back to reality when her partner paused in front of the clothing store. Did Dog hear something she did not, Kaylah’s question would remain unanswered as Dog gave her a quiet action. When the pistol was drawn Kaylah quickly checked the four corners of the area the two stood to see if she could see anything. Soon Dog entered the store and the stripper followed as back up though she was wielding a hockey stick, it was like bringing a knife to a gun fight, and hopefully no fight would happen.
Fighting meant getting violent and getting violent meant someone would get hurt or worse she could get hurt. Getting hurt was her number two fear, her first fear being alone for more than 20 minutes. KK had her hands tight on her weapon though became a little looser as she thought about the possibility of getting hurt. When Dog did her thing one thing after another happened and Kaylah found herself with a gun pointing in her direction, since KK was next to Dog he had a gun pointed at him as well. All Kaylah could think is shit over and over in her head, maybe she should have said nothing until after they checked the area out. Kaylah’s eyes crept from Dog to the woman with the gun in her hands. The strippers eyes soon caught on to some of the for sale signs dotted around the shop, 10%, 15% and 25% off signs could be seen within the store.
Bruiser remained outside of the store scouting the other places that Dog and Kaylah had yet to look over. The clothes here were not really of her taste but that did not matter as the woman soon spoke up.
Unknown Woman: “Don’t move! You move, I shoot.”
Unknown Woman: “Have you been bitten?”
Kaylah pondered the question for a moment; she did not plan on moving though if one of the two were going to it would most likely be Dog then Kaylah herself. KK soon rubbed her neck for a second before looking up at the ceiling of the store seeing the lights and generic ceiling panel’s stores had in malls and shops. Blue had yet to answer the question, she was glad the store had no power or she would have to hear the same 12 songs that most stores played all year. Kaylah’s skin soon began to crawl over the thought of being bitten, her body twitched a little. Eventually she stopped stalling and finally spoke up.
Kaylah: “No we have not been bitten; chances are you would know off the bat in some form if we were. I guess the question now is have you been bitten? I think it is fair to ask and would you kindly….. Lower your gun, a hockey stick can’t out speed a gun.”

If people are living there it might be on, I am not sure if we are going that way or not though. Though a film Dawn of the Dead had power in the mall, I don't remember if it was on when they got there or if they had to turn it on.

Was thinking of posting one for Teddy soon as well, though wanted to ask whether malls have control centres like the ones with all the screens on the walls the microphone to make announcements, music player etc. And also whether the mall would have any source of power, back-up generators that sort of thing?
I would assume so, a mall has a backup generator like a hospital would or so a mall security person told me, but I am in the UK so maybe it is different there. Also I think they would, I am sure a US mall would have that sort of thing. I went to a mall where they had screens scattered about though once again this was in the UK. Anyway even if for some reason they don't I don't see it why it could not be included, maybe they were trying something with one mall to see how it works before deciding to go on with the plan or whatever.

I'm so confused. Who is Blue?
Its a nickname I gave her alongside K.K. She is wearing blue and instead of using her name all the time I call her that and sometimes so do the others.
I decided to have a convo with Dog because why not, friendships should form, at this time I feel Kaylah it still somewhat of a stranger. Though I do wonder how cat would react to Blue trying to start a friendship with him? Bruiser is easy, throw a ball, pet it, don't hurt the owner and you can't go wrong.

It seemed Kaylah was going to be paired with Dog again, she was not complaining as Dog was rather nice unlike her twin or as she referred to herself as him. She would go with it because it was who they wanted to be and who could take that away. She did time to time have thoughts about talking to Cat though who knew if he would brush her off. She would give it a try when she could, she travelled with the guy and the others so talking with them and building some relationships was important. Blue soon looked over to her partner who seemed to have taken the lead at this time. She saw a smile and she would have given one back if she could see, it made one anyway though Dog would not be able to see it.
The two were going to take the left side of the mall, Bruiser walked next to Dog as she took lead. Her nose sniffing the area for trouble, a detector which would help people survive better. The marble floor was nice and the broken glass did not change that as she passed it, making sure not to step on it. They passed a few clothe shops though Kaylah could see several other stores from where she was at this point. She could see a sports store called Everlast Sports, a cake shop on the opposite side of the sports store called Frosty Cakes and it seemed Dog had found a comic store. Her eyes checked out the other stores she could see though at the moment all she could see were the colours the store signs had and somewhat some of the logos that went with those colours, many unclear as the mall stretched a long way from where they were.
This would only be one floor of four or more. Her feet made slight patting sounds as she moved; her feet were a little sore due to her shoes not really being proper shoes. They were a cosplay item which was not supposed to be used as everyday shoes promoting Blue to get some trainers or something. Hopefully they could check it out later if things were clear, maybe block off some areas so keep a certain area safe for longer. The place was partly littered though probably from before the outbreak happened or so she thought. The indoor interior seemed like most malls as it had sits, bins, stalls, escalators, elevators and the other things one would see at the mall. The air conditioning was still working but for how long? Kaylah watched when Dog saw the comic book stop, she herself wanted to go look as well but she had a job to do first.

Her voice echoed a little due to the reverb of the large open planned room. Her voice crackling a little, something that did not happen often, in fact was rare to happen. Her vial did not muffle her voice in anyway, a piece of cloth that thin wouldn’t. Bruiser soon began to weave in-between things as she searched the place out the way she could though returned to Dog every so often as she was lead at this point. Bruiser felt a kind soul within Dog and so would spend time with her when the chance arose, even if Cat was less kind or just unkind Bruiser did not fear him. Her paws made tiny patting sounds as Bruiser walked across the marble flooring; her nails caused the sounds to be heard as well as her dog tag that swayed upon movement.
