Hmmm I wasn't on during the day but I haven't experienced any difficulties with the site recently, a few others yes but not here.
Alari nodding hearing Hotaru's response, that was enough for him to get to work on it, the process wouldn't be a simple one and he didn't want Larel to react at every little thing, since he heard Hotaru openly agree to it he would at least hold back a little. He looked over at Larel to see he was a bit relieved, he was probably more worried than he let on which made Alari smile a little. He wasn't sure what to say about the conversation between her and Hotaru and looking over at Larel, it seemed he didn't intend on getting in the middle of it.
Alari adjusted his glasses knowing he was going to need a specific one for Hotaru, sadly he couldn't just transfer the seal on Larel's head over to her, he brought a hand to his chin wondering if he had all the supplies for one. He was pretty sure he did but it wouldn't hurt to check his case later and he'd send Kaori out for a few things if necessary.
Alari was pulled from his thoughts as he met eyes with Larel, he lowered his hand as the two stared at each other, there was something in Larel's eyes and it seemed like he wanted to tell him something but Alari couldn't discern what it was but it was clearly difficult for him to say.
He ended up turning his eyes from him as Hotaru spoke to him about finishing the seal sooner, Alari closed his eyes as Larel kept his gaze on him wanting the same thing. He opened his eyes only to see Hotaru cover her ears, Larel turned to look at her as well and quickly knelt down near her putting a hand on her shoulder and giving her a light shake to get her attention.
"Hotaru what's wrong?! Is Sybil trying to hurt you?!"
Alari watched Hotaru his eyes narrowing slightly seeing she was in pain, he reached up and removed his glasses before rubbing his eyes. It seemed his relaxation was going to have to wait until tomorrow, he couldn't just leave Hotaru like this.
"I'll have the seal done tonight," he said putting his glasses back on. "It seems Sybil's pretty intent on making sure her voice is heard."
Larel only offered a nod to him and Alari made a note knowing he was going to start soon if he wanted to get a good start on it before he left.
Alari started to leave but a chill ran up his spine and he looked behind him for a moment, he shook his head and turned around again bringing a hand to his head, for some reason he felt something...off but he contributed it to his tiredness and looked back at Hotaru one more time before turning to leave the room.
Larel stayed by Hotaru's side happy to hear Alari would take care of it tonight but his gaze didn't leave Hotaru, he racked his brain trying to think of anything he could do but he wasn't even sure what Sybil was doing in the first place, his hand closed into a fist hating that he couldn't just make Sybil stop with a bit of force. Zenmaru was chuckling at something but he wasn't sure what it was and he didn't care to ask either.
Luro's legs...why do I fear for them...

Oh ho Ray's got some secrets, arched eyebrow of inquiry and what of Kai and his relationship with Waterdeep, will Nolan's restocking be just that or something sinister in the mix, what of Marcos and Danny the new crewmembers, is Captain Runali too calm for what may lie ahead will Luro ever be fully Sober? Okay maybe that's a bit much but the message is clear, I can't wait for Waterdeep.
I won't offer any promises but I'll take a look at least as I enjoy Zelda. Also I'll have a post up soon.

Is it in Casual, General, Advance?
I'm doing pretty well Fox how are you doing?

That gigantic fish and those poor souls currently above that cake looks amazing.

Anyway my post is up, Waterdeep is so close.
Luro finished with his guns and grabbed his own looking over at Danny as she spoke of her time on sailor ships, he gave a small nod sad to hear she had to drink water of all things on it. He continued working on his own gun but he gave Danny his attention as he was curious where she hailed from, hearing it was from an island he tilted his head slightly. He was pretty sure he didn't end up on hers while he was travelling but it just being a possibility made him a smile a little, he looked down at the parchment setting his gun down and grabbing another bottle as he sat tailor style resting his hands on his knees a small grin on his face.
"I think your grandad and I would get along," he said before taking a drink from the bottle. "I am sorry to hear you had to drink water, a wise man once said if you can throw a punch you can handle the drink, well he wasn't really wise just...really really drunk but aside from that and four other things he was a pretty informative guy. Anyway if you're going to work like a sailor it only makes sense to drink like one."
Luro brought a hand to his chin remembering she had asked him about his own travels, he tilted his head slightly and tried to think of an answer but wasn't having much luck, though he could barely remember his name right now.
"There's nothing too interesting about me Danny, stowaway on a few ships, got in trouble with the law, got put in prison, got out of prison, left a few heartbroken lasses behind....and one lad but that's another story. Let's see insert some murder and larceny in there, a bunch of bar fights, more lasses, add some rum and that's about it. Why I became a pirate though is for the freedom, there's nothing better than being your own person, you really don't know how dear freedom is until you can lose it and I have lost it more times than I can count. Now I can drink as much as I want, sleep as much as I want, inflict physical harm on whoever I want though the captain has requested I not kill needlessly so I won't. It's great I can think of nothing better to do, having people along makes it all the better, travelling on your own get's lonely sometimes."
Luro leaned back placing his hand back to steady himself as he took another drink finishing off the bottle before setting it down, he stood up grabbing his rifle and putting it on his back.
"You'll find the answers to some of those questions yourself, you're our navigator now after all it's no fun if I just tell you the answer. You're going to love being a pirate Danny, even when your getting shot at by the navy and almost cut apart by fellow pirates cause you'll always have your freedom and rum mostly freedom though."
Luro reached down and grabbed the rifles deciding to turn in for the night, his vision was starting to get a bit blurry well blurrier which meant he was probably going to pass out soon anyway.
He put the empty bottles in the barrel and took a long swig of bottle in his hand before dropping it in there with the rest of them.
"I'm heading to bed now night Danny."
Luro was pretty sure he saw the captain while he made his way below deck but he was past the point of no return and knew if he stopped he wasn't going to move again.
The sunlight pouring into the small room made Luro groan and roll over as morning came, he moved his arm only to hear a clinking noise follow which woke him up a bit more causing him to open his eyes. Once his gaze met the ceiling of the room he realized he wasn't in the sleeping quarters, that and his back was currently on a hard floor instead of his bed...or whoever's bed he passed out in. Looking around he recognized where he was almost immediately, a room that brought him a joy that little else could, the rum room.
Looking around he was surrounded by bottles of all kinds of drink, he was literally in a bed of bottled goodness and picking one up he noticed they were still shut.
He sat up glad he didn't drink any at least, he'd be in a new kind of trouble if he drank it all last night though he wasn't sure when he got there as he was positive he was heading for a bed last night.
After putting all the bottles back in their proper places he heard the captain yell about the news, he grinned and stretched a few cracks coming from his bones before he grabbed his rifle and made his way out of the room.

Luro tapped the bottle of rum he had brought out of the room with his finger as the captain told them the plan for Waterdeep, he was already on his second plate but had stopped figuring it was rude to eat while the captain was speaking. Late noon seemed more than enough time to get things done, he may even be able to check out the tavern in the city. He wasn't against helping Nolan restock and he believed it might be for the best to get their supplies first, last time they had to make a hasty exit after all.
He wasn't sure what to think about the port being at an all time low so he didn't think about it all, he looked over hearing what Nolan was going to do and smiled when he addressed him and Ray.
"I'm afraid I'll be staying behind for a bit to do some repairs on the Coral, we did get harpooned after all and it's easier to make repairs when we dock. It won't take me long but I have a title to uphold. My title as carpenter not womanizing dog of the sea, not sure when I got the second one but I've been called it enough times. Doesn't make sense to me really I'm a pirate not a dog and I don't remember doing....the first part of that....anyway that aside I'll probably just roam the city and stop by the tavern I don't really have anything interesting planned...aside from the tavern. Ray might have a good idea or Kai since he's been there before."
Hmmm well inspiration can come from anywhere, why not try something different and see if any sparks come? A suggestion of course as the bug always leaves eventually.
Larel arched a brow at the first part of what Mera said but if that was her request then he would comply with it. He nodded as she confirmed where he was at, though he wasn’t really sure what to think about him hanging around Mary much less speaking with her, while he wondered if he should pursue it he heard Hotaru speak to Mera mentioning something about Mary staying in the room with them.
When she explained why Larel brought a hand to his mouth for a moment, Mera cared for Mary and he couldn’t let his own feelings of the matter put Mary in unnecessary danger, though he didn’t know how much Sybil could be trusted even with information like that. In the end he decided not to say anything since he also had to ask his favor, which meant he needed to speak with her anyway.
“Well I’ll go find him then,” Larel said starting to leave but froze when a familiar voice reached his ears.
“Oji-san you’re back!”
Larel physically flinched hearing Kaori, he reached up and put his hand over his face shaking his head slightly, putting aside they were in the same inn he wasn’t sure where Kaori’s enthusiasm came from, lowering his hand he let out a sigh.
“Alari Wisdom come here,” Larel said crossing his arms.
He barely said the words but within a few minutes a shadow stood outside the door, Larel looked over at it and lowered his arms as it was clear he was there.
“Why aren’t you coming in?”
“Well I’d be breaking the ten foot rule if I did,” Alari said from the other side of the door.
“Just get in here.”
“Are you sure I’d rather not have a sword-”
“Get in here!”
Alari walked in cleaning his glasses and his eyes went right to Larel, he noticed he was uncomfortable with him in the room but he was resisting attacking him so it must be something important to have him hold back.
“Alari I need a favor,” Larel said narrowing his eyes at him a little.
Alari continued to clean his glasses and stared at him in silence, once he finished he placed them back on his face adjusting them once before moving his hands in his sleeves.
“This is rarity what do you need?” he asked smiling at him.
Larel swallowed the words that almost came out seeing that smile on Alari’s face and closed his eyes to regain his composure before speaking again.
“Can you put a seal on Hotaru to silence Sybil?”
Alari looked over at Hotaru for a moment before looking back at him.
“Indeed I can if she will permit me to do so,” Alari said. “It won’t completely silence her though since I don’t know Sybil as well I know Zenmaru and I’d have to make a custom one for her which would require-”
“Can you make one?” Larl said cutting him off.
“I can have one ready by tomorrow,” Alari said.
“Would you be able to make one sooner than that…perhaps tonight?”
A glare formed on Alari’s glasses which surprised Larel since there was no absolute light in the room, and Alari decided to note the shift in Larel’s tone at his request for a moment before he spoke.
“Not possible,” he said adjusting his glasses and making the glare go away. “Tomorrow morning I’ll have it complete.”
“Fine…it’s not like I can ask anyone else,” Larel said. “I don’t like owing you a favor but if you can do it I’d appreciate it.”
“You don’t have to owe me anything Larel,” Alari said. “I’m more than happy to do it.”
“Lying isn’t helping you right now Wisdom.”
“I’m not lying I’m fine with doing it.”
Larel turned his head slightly his eyes scanning Alari for a moment before he spoke again crossing his arms.
“Why are you alright it, are you going to curse Hotaru or something?”
“No but Hotaru is your friend right?”
“Yes.”
“That’s good enough for me.”
Larel arms fell to his sides as Alari smiled at him again, he seemed dumbfounded for a moment as he stared at Alari, it took him a moment to realize he was serious and return to his blank faced self.
“Well….that’s…fine then…since you’re being so generous I’m staying in your room so get out.”
“What?”
“Mary’s staying in this room so I’m staying in yours, I feel like I make her uncomfortable for some reason.”
Alari admitted he was proud Larel made that observation but he was saddened he couldn’t exactly identify why.
“…..alright you can stay in ours,” Alari said a small smile on his face.
Larel arched a brow a bit concerned at how easy he agreed to it but shrugged his shoulders deciding not to question it. Alari was going to be gone for most of the night so he would be sharing it with Kaori which didn’t bother Alari as it kept him from being completely alone.
“Of course I still intend on playing GO with Hotaru so I’ll head over once I go to bed,” Larel said. “When I do you’ll leave?”
“Of course,” Alari said adjusting his glasses. “Now before I get to work on the seal.”
Alari looked over at Hotaru and brought a hand to his chin, he smiled a little as he had to confirm something before he got to work on it.
“Hotaru I’m more than happy to do so but I want to confirm it with you, do you want me to place a seal on you for Sybil.”
He was sure Larel asked because of Hotaru but it would save trouble from Larel later if he heard it from Hotaru specifically. While he waited for her answer he felt a strong desire to glance at Mera but Larel’s gaze was locked on him waiting for any reason to assault him and he was sure that would serve as more than enough reason.
I contributed to the interaction but I'm not sure what Banba wants to do, I'm okay with moving along at any point in time though.

Also New York fireworks just sounds awesome.
Luro continued taking apart the rifles in front of him, putting them back together immediately after, at one point he took all three apart and put them all back together with each other’s parts. Each time he finished he raised the gun and fired it to make sure it functioned; once he confirmed it he set it down and repeated the process. He drank from his bottle every few minutes as he repeated the endless steps a smile on his face as his hands continued to move. Luro was sure at one point he saw Ray clean the cannons though he wasn’t sure since his gaze didn’t move from the rifles.

At least that was the case until Danny spoke to him, he jumped a little seeing she had set parchment down nearby but grinned at her words and went back to taking apart one of the rifles again.
“I’ll take that as a compliment, it’s one of the things I love about being a pirate,” Luro said with a firm nod. “Did you know the navy hands out rations of drink? It’s no wonder those guys hate pirates so much since we can drink whenever we want, I’m sure if they could drink as much as they want they’d be much friendlier.”

Luro grabbed another rifle having broken down the one before reaching over and grabbing another bottle after and taking a quick drink.
“I’m sure the others have said it a hundred times but it is good to have you aboard lass, Marcos as well. I’m…not sure if you told us your name…but if you did I’ve probably forgotten it. I forget the captains too but I never really call her by it so that might be it. I may just avoid it since I might call her by the wrong name at one point, then it’s just be awkward. Anyway it’s good to have someone who can read maps…well not read but…actually I forgot what your title is…anyway it’s not important, what is important is that we have a map person on board. I could have used you when I was travelling on my own; I ended up getting stranded pretty often. One would think I’d land at a town…but it was always an island…wouldn’t have been so bad if I had something to drink there.”
Luro shrugged and finished off one of the bottles before setting it down and moving another one closer, he went back to taking apart the rifle before he spoke again his attention fully returning to his task.
“So where do you hail from and what called you to the sea, not that I can blame you for heeding her call, like a wench with a bottle of ale in her-” Luro cut himself off and let out a small laugh. “Never mind that actually but I think I missed a few things when you were tied up earlier so tell me again. Oh speaking of that it was pretty funny, the captain was ‘what’re you doing here’ and then you were ‘ahhh pirates don’t kill me’ ah it was fun but we’re friends now so we won’t kill you. Well we shouldn’t kill you, I’ll do my best not to shoot you lass. Anyway back to what I said earlier why are you traveling with us? We are still pirates; you just made tons of enemies by joining us after all.”
