Hahaha can't help but feel bad for Tomoko, I laugh and end up feeling guilty later it's a beautiful cycle.
I'd say go for Clannad, I thought I'd last at least halfway through the anime, but I was bawling before it was even halfway, not my proudest moment, fond memories though. Speaking of anime I've been on the fence with Kagerou Project, if it comes as a recommendation I'll have to add it.
Hahaha indeed it has truly begun and okay I look forward to it.
Aria stared up at the screen as Mr. Descent continued laughing to himself holding his sides as he did so, however his laughter eventually subsided and he bent down and picked up what looked like a mic before tapping it with his finger. When he did so the speakers surrounding the entire city seemed to blare even louder than before, Aria flinched as a loud screech came from them. It seemed Mr. Descent really wanted to make sure his message got across, whatever it was. Seeing as the guy just gave them magic using some kind of...black magic she wasn't looking forward to what else he had to say. At first Aria was annoyed but she could feel fear start to creep into her, this wasn't normal, none of it was and she didn't know what to do about it, but the thing on her wrist worried her mostly because she didn't understand what exactly it was.
"Ahem!" Mr. Descent said his voice even louder than before. "Now people tend to fear what they don't understand so let me go ahead and explain what that thing on you does."
Mr. Descent grinned before snapping his fingers, as he did all the screens focused on a young man standing in the crowd, Aria could actually see him where she was standing. It was a young man with short black hair, wearing a blue button up shirt and black shirts, he didn't look that much older than Aria.
"Please turn your attention to the nearest tv screen if you would," Mr. Descent said. "They'll be on, I'm not letting you turn them off after all. Now let me make this very clear that thing on your wrist right now is a curse."
Aria's eyes widened at Mr. Descent's words and she immediately looked back at it, Mr. Descent continued wanting to finish what he was saying.
"If you don't know what that is know that it's generally a bad and harmful thing, there's no way to remove it as by now it's more than likely bonded with your DNA or whatever, I don't know the whole process in short it's part of you now. I hear a few gasps and murmurs out there, you didn't really think you'd get magic for free did you? I'm not that nice of a guy. Now watch this young man because that curse has a timer, and when it counts down...."

Mr. Descent trailed off and snapped his fingers, the moment he did the curse on the boy's hand immediately shrank starting from the bottom and moving up to the eye until it was completely gone. The moment the curse was gone red fire engulfed the boy's entire body and he screamed as his skin and inner organs were burned by the flames which seemed to only grow larger with each passing second, blood poured out of the boy's mouth and eyes and he fell to his knees screaming in agony reaching out for someone to help him before he fell face first to the ground going completely still. The flames flared once more before subsiding, leaving nothing but a charred corpse.
Aria brought her hand to her mouth at the scent much less the sight of the boy, she felt her legs go weak and it took all her willpower not fall to her knees, others were not as composed and some were screaming and scratching at the seal on their wrist frantically.
"Hey! Hey!" Mr. Descent said drawing the attention of the people as he appeared back on the screens. "Calm down! That only happens when the seal vanishes, it burns you from the insides out like that, I mean yeah it's really painful but there's still time on it. You have fifty minutes before that happens....well forty-eight since all that maybe forty-seven. Now before you start screaming again know that there is a way to stop the curse, I wouldn't go cursing you and not give you a way out that's just being a douche. The curse will go into stasis when you are asleep but it won't reset to full, now to restore the time limit all you have do is...."
Mr. Descent's toothy grinned showed on the screen before he spoke giving a small shrug of his shoulders.
"Kill someone."
The words echoed throughout the city for a moment, and people Aria included stared at the screen in complete disbelief, and though Aria desperately wanted this to be a part of this sick man's sense of humor he seemed serious about it.
"Someone else with the seal to be more precise, and you have to do it with your magic or hands, if you use a plain weapon or a gun the seal won't register the kill and then you went and killed for nothing and that'd be a tragedy. Some of you guys can imbue stuff right, make sure to enchant the item before smashing someone's head open with it. Oh wait a minute I forget killing is wrong isn't it? That's okay though let's see how long you consider another person's life over yours. I won't judge you for murder but if you wanna be a goody two shoes then go ahead and be a good Samaritan and die for your neighbor, I mean their life is more important than your own right?! So what does it matter who dies! Ahahahahahahahahaha!"
Aria's fist clenched causing her magic to show itself as hate almost overtook all of her emotions, if not for the smell of the now deceased boy she would have forgotten where she was by now by the amount of disgust she had against this man.
"Oh and just to make it interesting I'm going to lower your time limit...aaaaand you know have five minutes to live. I'll be watching have fun everyone!"
With that Mr. Descent's broadcast ended and the televisions returned to normal, however all of them were off the air which was understandable considering the circumstances. Aria looked at her wrist only to see the eye staring back at her, true to his words everyone in this city now had five minutes to live.

Aria's eyes scanned the people around her, everyone was looking at one another the words of Mr. Descent playing in their heads as they eyed each other. The hesitation was clear in a majority of their eyes and they only stared at each other in silence, Aria swallowed as she continued to look at the people around her. The only way to live was to kill someone else, and time was slowly ticking down the city almost completely silent as people contemplated murder among one another. The police couldn't help them they had seals like anyone else, what goodwill existed was almost nonexistent as they watched each other
It was time to make a decision, she either acted first or they did, even knowing this Aria couldn't help but watch she may not like these people but to kill someone wasn't right, but she didn't want to die either.

A middle aged man in a suit eyed Spencer on his right side, his hand was clenched with a black glow coming from it, his eyes were locked on him and he seemed to be hesitating at whatever he intended on doing which should be clear seeing as his eyes went to the seal on his wrist and back to Spencer, a wedding ring rested on the suited man's hand and there was a good chance his mind was going to his family as he stared at Spencer but he didn't move, he just stared the energy surrounding his hand flaring every few seconds.

A young woman followed Carson fire circling around her right arm, she wasn't sure if he had seen her but she kept a steady pace her eyes narrowed at him. Her hand twitched every few moments as she glared at him, she could see herself setting him aflame, watching his body fall to the ground but she found herself hesitating at the thought of it. She closed her hand into a fist continuing to watch him in silence, though it was unsure how long she intended on watching.
"...I can't die," the woman muttered.

A young boy walked off the side walk and stood in front of Andrew, he flexed his hands chains coming out of his skin as he eyed the man in front of him his eyebrows narrowing into a glare. His eyes went to Andrew's hand, his seal was the same as his on the five minute mark, that was enough confirmation for the boy that it was okay to kill this person, however he didn't attack he just stared at him in silence. Much as he wanted to survive the boy had never taken a life before and his fear was obvious in his expression but he grit his teeth and put on a brave face as he stared at Andrew.
Hmmmm alright I'll ask my friend for it then, sure he'll be ecstatic on that one. I recommend Champloo without a doubt.
“You should’ve run, now you’re just going to get hurt”

Appearance:

Name: Zen

Age:16

Personality: Zen is a cold and unfeeling young man who has little concern for the well being of others, he’s generally distrustful and makes and effort to follow his own judgment whenever he makes a decision. He can normally be seen with a glare or irritated expression on his face and it seems he’s constantly angry about one thing or another, in the few instances when he’s not he’s distant and pays little mind to the affairs of others. Contrary to his brusque personality he does have a caring side and shows a maturity well beyond his years but this side of him has become almost nonexistent with his world taken from him leaving only bitterness and irritation.
He prefers actions to words and believes speaking with a fist is just as good as a regular conversation, he seems to have a hard time getting his point across and showing what he’s really feeling and his words can be harsh even when he’s speaking normally.

Weapon: LostAffection- A black keyblade that Zen wields, the hilt of the keyblade is straight but there are two red half circles on each side of the bottom making a full circle, curved around the bottom half circles is a golden spiral technically making the circle black and gold. Red lines twirl and intertwine up the blade of the keyblade linking at the top, silver lines run through the interlinking lines making a decoration of red and silver that stops only at the top. The top half of the keyblade resembles a curved black claw but the inner parts where the palm is stick out by three resembling the key part of the keyblade.

Abilities:
Dodge Roll
Strike Raid
Guard Plus

Magic:
Dark Firaga (Single version)
Cure

Destiny’s Oath: Parade of Despair- With a heavy sigh Zen will stab his keyblade into the ground before squatting down resting on the balls of his feet, five dark versions of himself will then burst from his body and start slashing in every direction unleashing a barrage of attacks on everything around him in a full circle. The versions will return to him as he stands up yanks his keyblade out of the ground and unleashes one final slash imbued with darkness. (Since it will developed I stopped there).

Trinity Limit: Shoulda listened- Zen will vanished and circle the enemy/enimes leaving three versions of himself before backing away from the fight and hovering dismissing his keyblade in the process as his clones barrage the enemies with black magic, he’ll generally hover away from the fight as the others attack. If the group is magic based he’ll dismiss his clones and extend his hand trapping the enemy/enemies in a large sphere of darkness as his partners slam the sphere with a near endless amount of magical attacks hitting the enemy inside, the magic will remain trapped and Zen will detonate the sphere ending the Limit in a large explosion of their combined magic. If attack based Zen will dash forward with his comrades leaving his clones around to also attack as they continuously cut through the enemy from multiple angles vanishing and reappearing only to attack before finishing the attack by sliding away from the enemy as Zen detonates his clones finishing anything that’s still breathing

Sample Post:
Pain ran through Zen’s body as he slowly found regained consciousness, his eyes twitching and his head pounding as he tried to figure out why he was feeling this way. If not for the sudden breeze and wetness he felt below him he would have shut his eyes and ignored it. Zen opened his eyes and quickly sat up only to have a dizzy spell hit him almost making him lay back down but he resisted the urge as alarm bells rung in his mind about how off all of this was.
His vision was blurry for a moment but once he could see clearly he blinked in utter confusion seeing he was outside which didn't make sense as he was positive he was in his house moments ago. Zen looked down and noticed he was lying in water that seemed to be going down a long drain that seemed to go on forever.

He stood up ignoring his clothing sticking to his body before looking around, it seemed he was in some kind of alley next to what he assumed was a hotel, he could see lights decorating the area around him and has nice as it was he knew this wasn’t his home, it didn’t even look like anyplace near his home.
His thoughts returning to home he clutched his head with his hand, he was eating dinner and then…that’s it…everything goes black when he tries to think back further.
In the end Zen let out a small ‘tch’ and stepped out of the water onto the sidewalk before deciding to walk around, it didn’t matter where he was he intended on getting home as soon as possible.

If you still have room I'll throw my hat in.

Of course One piece would be on there but I can't deny I agree with you, I did watch soul eater and Deadman Wonderland though I haven't finished the former, first episode of Deadman Wonderland drew me in. I haven't touched Durarara and Gurren Lagann...but my friend loves Gurren Lagann, and keeps offering to lend me the DVD, might take him up on that now.
Oh ho ho hoooo, that's a difficult question I'll have to pull a favorite from genres since I don't have a top five. I'll put mine up tomorrow as I have to log off now. I've watched K-on and Hell girl as well, I enjoyed them.
Larel glanced over at Mera seeing she used the vine to stop Kaori's staring, he said a mental thank you for it before wondering if he could cut off the first option Mera gave and just make him leave. He didn't have a chance to think further on it as Hotaru spoke, his eyes narrowed a little hearing her cough but he remained quiet as Hotaru had said what he wanted too, minus a few insults he had in mind.
The second question Hotaru asked actually made Larel look back at Kaori as he was curious of that as well, however when his eyes landed on his face he felt a chill run up his spine. Kaori had a wide grin on his face and he was leaning back and forth a little the leaf still on his head.
"W-why are you smiling like that," Larel asked his eyes twitching a little.
"It's almost like being in contact with Mera-dono, which I'm not allowed without permission so I'm happy," Kaori said giggling a little.
Larel immediately raised his darkness noting Kaori talked anyway and removed the leaf from Kaori causing him to pout, he was going to make him answer his question then possibly kill him for saying that.
"Answer Hotaru's question Kaori," Larel said lowering his hand. "Where did he go?"
Kaori crossed his arms over his chest and shook his head slightly before looking over at Larel.
"I have no idea, Oji-san just told me he had to take care of something," Kaori said.
"Take care of something?" Larel questioned. "He didn't mention a place, or even out?"
Kaori nodded and reached in his sleeve, he pulled out one of Alari's glasses, which Larel wondered how he got a pair, before putting them on giving them a small adjust.
"It's nothing to be concerned about," Kaori said trying to mimic his voice. "That's what he told me, sorry Taru-chan I wish I knew."
"Of course he did," Larel said sighing.
"By the way I'm not a guard in terms of strength really," Kaori said rubbing the back of his head. "I have a talisman on me that lets him know what's going on here, so long as I'm nearby it's okay."
That actually made a bit of sense as he was sure Kaori would just run and hide if danger did come, no he was absolutely sure that's what he'd do.
Larel was silent for a moment as he tried to find the right words to what he was about to ask Kaori, he hesitated a bit but it had been bothering him for a bit now and this was the best time to ask without asking the man himself.
"Hey Kaori," Larel said drawing Kaori's attention to him again. "Uh.....has Alari....spoken to you about...stuff."
Kaori adjusting Alari's glasses but he couldn't make it glare naturally like he did, with a tilt of his head he smiled waiting for him to continue. It seemed his silence was a yes and a notion to continue....kind of like Alari.
"Zenmaru....he hates her right....why hasn't he...attacked me because of it...I mean he has control over the seal and all yet he doesn't hurt me, I was just curious why."
Kaori blinked a few times actually aware where this was coming from, he couldn't help but smile as Alari had planned for this possibility, Larel was conscious of some of his actions towards him, that was a rarity.
"I'm not allowed to say, but I'd say it's probably the same reason you won't do the same to Hotaru," Kaori said grinning. "You're thinking a bit more on why you hate Oji-san right, good for you Larel you're maturing so quickly."
Larel lowered his gaze at this as Kaori was right as much as he hated admitting it, about Alari at least the latter half almost got him punched.
Larel glanced over at him watching him mess with the glasses, he seemed to really enjoy those things for some reason.
"If you can find the reason you'll understand your relationship with Oji-san a bit more Larel...but you have more important things on your mind right?" Kaori said grinning. "I know your still thinking about your sister too."
Larel flinched a little and Kaori kept messing with the glasses, it seemed they were starting to annoy him now, he was starting to question how Alari wore these all the time.
"Taru-chan and Mera-dono are important right now, forget your sister and stop thinking about Oji-san. Focus on what you can do now," Kaori said.
".....you're being surprisingly sensible."
"I told you it's serious time," Kaori said removing the glasses. "That and Oji-san told me to say all that to you if you asked."
"....of course he did," Larel said shaking his head. "I hate how he always knows what to say."
"Anyway since we're talking about Oji-san have you looked into his eyes without his glasses Larel, they're so mesmerizing, there's something about his world weary eyes and the calm gentleness in them. I end up staring sometimes, I'm sure you'd get lost in them too Larel it's comforting actually."
Kaori brought his hands to his cheeks and blushed a little, Larel's eye twitched and he started to move towards him but he glanced to his right hearing Zenmaru talk which stopped him.
"Don't agree with him especially in my head," Larel said before looking back at Kaori. "Don't talk about Alari's eyes in here, or about him in particular...actually why are you even talking about it?"
"It's true though," Kaori said shaking his fists deciding to ignore his last question. "I caught him with his top off too, he saw me so I didn't get to look for long but he has a surprisingly good build, the scars make him look even more masculine. Ah I actually got to draw some of it, it's unfinished because I have to get the bottom but I'll show it to you."
"Don't," Larel said seeing Kaori reach in his sleeve. "Just sit there quietly, don't talk and don't let me hear your breathe...now's not the time for that,"
"...you brought him up though," Kaori said averting his eyes but he did as requested and sat back down.
Larel watched as he closed his eyes and went silent, he wasn't sure how long he'd stay like that, but he hated how right he was. Larel's mind did drift back to his sister for a bit once everything calmed down.
"Are you feeling better Hotaru-chan...this headache aside," Larel said rubbing his forehead.
