Dij gulped, and wiped a gallon of sweat off from his forehead, he had almost fainted from that loud sound. Gingerly he tried to move a bit away from the dragon's tail. However, in his current mental state, gingerly was now a matter of perspective.
Dij swore his heart stopped when his foot collided into a object, the metallic ping was like a gun shot to him. He turned his head back to see the tip of the dragon tails, his eyes followed it till it disappeared into darkness. He gulped.
Sweat covered Dij's forehead like a slick grease as he stared into the deep darkness of the dragons cave. "Holy crap..." He whispered as he heard the whoosh as great lungs breathed air in and out. Maybe he shouldn't have come here he thought, just stay at home. In a futile effort to alleviate the stress, he slowly tip toed to the side of the entrance to the cave, so he didn't stand directly in front of it.
