Shu was probably a lot more worried by the situation than Takeshi was, seeing as how he had his fair share of wild encounters and he knew how bad it was when someone went so out of their mind they went feral. When he lived in the jungle, anybody in his clan who went vicious had to be either kicked out or killed and that was never pleasant to witness. Looking up at Takeshi, he frowned a little before looking towards the door, holding onto Takeshi’s hand as he got rid of the Ki and lead them out of the room, “Maybe somehow get light too when Mister Viral is all calm again”, he nodded, looking up at him again, “He sounded like a big kitty that eats big creatures…” Looking up and down the corridor, he tilted his head a little before squeaking, “Ooh! Ramp! Adventure?” he asked, pointing down the corridor, “Everything should be fine if we do, right? We were already far away from him, so maybe that way will bring us closer?”

Viral wasn’t distraught over the additional large paws, but knowing Yumi was pretty close to him when it happened made him lash out. She shouldn’t be near his food, not while all this was happening to him and he was as hungry as he was just now. He was still changing on the inside, his genes switching on a different set of lights as it were. It was a good thing they were on the last leg of their journey, otherwise this would had been a very bad predicament Viral had landed himself in. After hitting Yumi, he growled lowly, pressing his large paws on the floor as his claws practically carved into it as he stared straight at her, sensing her fear from the dark.

He didn’t have any problem with the dark, he could see her as clear as day and yet he wanted to stay in it to hide himself from the others, his mind recognising that as the last thought he had before it reverted to its feral state. Raising his claws slowly again, he watched her carefully as she reached out to him only to touch his ear instead, twitching it at first before groaning as she scratched behind him. Leaning towards her hand, his other ear flicked a few times before he closed his eyes, finding it oddly relaxing. Slowly leaning towards her some more, his large paw slowly moved up to her hand, almost holding it in place for a moment before suddenly, making a quick backpedal he immediately stumbled to his feet. Growling lowly, his paws moved to his head as he stumbled around a little, his paws now a lot heavier than before and making him feel unbalanced. He was struggling to fight against the possible aggressor that was Yumi, his thought process immediately going to the possibility that she was just wanting his food and yet she was hard to resist.
Viral had completely lost it, his mind gone into full feral with his own personality and mind being near enough lost. It was locked away behind a big wall of feline fur as if he ditched his misery for something a whole lot simpler. Feeling pretty content with where he was right now, he certainly seemed a lot better when his memories weren’t plaguing him so much, despite the fact he was slowly turning into a feline. He still had his shark teeth and those would likely stay, but his body was taking on a whole new look. Food was definitely the thing on his mind just now, his attention completely off the other two as they seemed less than threatening from where he was. He didn’t want to come out of the dark as if his dignity was still intact, his final thoughts before his mind changed being his desire to not want to be seen by anyone.

Shu was feeling a little worried, the sounds almost imitating the large cats he encountered in the jungle. It made him pretty nervous and curious to what had happened to his friend, especially when he seemed scared in return with how he was hiding away in the darkness. Looking to Takeshi, he frowned a little, hearing all the noises being made by both Yumi and Viral, “Umm…Takeshi…?” he whispered, trying to keep his voice low enough as to not disturb Viral and send him leaping at them, “Shouldn’t we…go and find Vegeta…? We should tell him about this…but we should be careful…” He didn’t want to alert Viral and rushing away and Vegeta possibly running in might spook Viral enough for him to attack or run off.

Viral continued to tear into the fish, his eyes pointing downwards the entire time he was feasting. He was definitely trying to get as much in his mouth as he could, his hunger beyond any that a predator should have. With Yumi not being much of a threat and definitely not strong enough to take his food, he didn’t even look at her as she slowly approached him once more. With one ear twitching, he tensed up slightly when she leaned against him, deciding to purr away. Almost twitching in response to that, something inside him immediately triggering as he leaned against her, letting out a low groaning noise instead of a purr. Slowly rubbing his head against her, he felt all warm inside but soon quickly jerked to the side, staring down at his paws.

Watching as they shook, fur slowly grew out from the back of his hands as his hands expanded in size, growing larger than what they already used to be. With his skin also growing thicker, his fingers soon looked like they conjoined like a paw with the ends of his fingers being free moving, but even they grew large as his claws formed larger. He wasn’t alarmed by it, but groaned as the wraps around his forearms became uncomfortable, his claws tearing them apart with one stroke. With thick padded skin on the underside of his paws, he suddenly playfully slapped out at Yumi, the slap feeling more like being hit by a big fluffy club with them near enough being bigger than Yumi’s head.
Viral was definitely unsure about her or what was going on, his mindset stuck between two polar opposites with one in particular struggling to gain dominance. There was nothing he could do to prevent it, his mind had changed through what felt like a headache before to animal-like since finding a retreat. He would have to give into it if he wasn’t going to suffer anymore and Yumi was helping him with that, his genes needing to find a place to settle so that they wouldn’t be so aggressive; however, he was very stubborn and with each uneasy shake the longer he was holding it in, trying to keep it at bay like a big nasty hairball. He was back on only his feet again as Yumi turned in his direction once more, his claws flexing as they slowly changed from pointed sharp claws to hooked retractable ones. He was getting curious at this point, but still he felt threatened as he stared at her from beyond the darkness.

Lowering his head a little, he stared at her uneasily all while thinking about leaping at her again if she got too close. She was the only one of them acting like this, acting in a way that he was recognising fairly well. Slowly lowering down again, his eye twitched slightly as he slowly moved around her again, stalking her all while watching her actions. She looked submissive, his claws slowly scratching against the floor as he twitched slightly, his ear flapping as if something suddenly snapped in his mind. She was a coward, the signals she was sending all being too obvious. Growling lowly, he slowly raised up again, jumping back towards his food and instead sat down, picking up a half-eaten fish and slowly eating it with his eyes well off Yumi.
The attack had missed, claws scraping on the ground as he made a sudden scamper away from the danger and towards the food. How dare they try to take his food and then try to attack him. Claws scratching on the floor, he turned himself around and kept in front of the pile, his arms raised slightly. It was definitely Viral, but a strange change in him had caused his mind to revert to a more maddened state as something tried to force its way out. His own energy that they couldn’t sense was running high, fuelled with the desire to eat all he could to fill the pit in his stomach. With golden pointed furry ears folded back, he couldn’t help but feel threatened during this time and yet didn’t show any signs of attacking madly, just moving fast and fending them off whenever he could.

Shu had got a fright when the figure almost flew passed them with Yumi disappearing off into the darkness apparently unharmed. He didn’t know what was happening or what it was but that moment when it got very close he wrapped his arms around his brother and held onto him, staring out with both fear and concern. Upon hearing that it was Viral, he quickly looked up before gasping a little at the sound of claws scratching metal, feeling scared to what was going on, “V-Viral…?” he muttered, but Yumi quickly told them to hush as she thought up a new plan to bring to the table. His biggest fear would be that Viral would change into the killing machine he was before, but this time he seemed hissy and withdrawn, not willing to attack blindly.

With his body slightly shaking with Yumi now elsewhere, Viral’s strong senses pierced through the darkness as he let out a growl of a hiss when they spoke, slowly backing off. It wasn’t so much a pain he was feeling, more itchy and tight than pain and it was making him feel anxious. With claws ready to attack, he slowly dropped down again, moving over the pile of leftovers protectively when Yumi moved the same way. Immediately seeing her as a feline, he stared at her for a moment before he jerked suddenly, making a sudden high bounce away from the food, his arms angling down more than his legs as if he had made the leap while forgetting his position, landing on his face with a thump elsewhere before turning around again. He had practically submitted his food to her, but then again he just hissed louder with a strong growl following inbetween, watching her carefully.
Shu couldn’t see in the dark, it was just nothingness out beyond the orb and his eyes were definitely having a hard time adjusting; now, the only problem was whatever the noise was. It sounded like a creature of some kind, but that would be weird considering it used the elevator and not even Shu knew how to do that. He was pretty scared, hugging onto Yumi all while she held onto him just as hard as they both stared into the darkness. It could easily jump on them and try to eat them if they separated, he learned that from being told during his childhood how to stay safe and not end up being prey to something else. Looking up to Yumi, he gave a quick nod, “Uh huh…I’ll try not to worry…” he spoke lowly, his eyes going into the darkness once more.

The smell of food was strange, it wasn’t exactly new food and was just leftover stuff. It was definitely an odd choice to go for when there was so much more that would probably be tastier. Gasping as all noise seemed to cease, he looked quickly to Yumi only to look to Takeshi when he was directed towards the creature. He felt pretty scared, but so long as he was strong then he could beat whatever it was. Slowly walking along with Takeshi, he frowned as they moved further into the room in search of this beast. They could be walking right into its trap for all he knew, but Yumi and Takeshi seemed confident enough to follow on all while trying to guess what it was. As Yumi let go of him, he watched her as she walked into the darkness, immediately moving close to Takeshi and his ball of light. It was very risky for Yumi to go out that way, but if she was confident then he was going to have to trust she was making the right decision.

Despite the group struggling to see where they were, the mysterious creature could see them perfectly despite the bright shining ball almost masking their forms. They were after the food, they wouldn’t had come down here if it wasn’t for the food. There was a lot of discomfort in his body, a mysterious instinct controlling him and strange forces unknown at work. The group were merely being seen as aggressors upon his food pile, a great hunger driving the need to attack them and fight them off. Slowly moving around the group, eyes trained on them all he watched as the girl moved out of the light. Crouching lowly in response, he moved slightly to the side before suddenly pouncing straight for Yumi, trying to knock her down and claw her and drag her away. The flash of shadow that passed certainly looked like Viral, but with longer claws and protruding fluffy ears. Pretty aggressive and quick, there was loud growling and hissing but sure enough a jump straight for the food after the brief attack towards Yumi.
Shu grinned at Takeshi, finding it fairly amusing that he was reacting in such a way. He was totally afraid of them, but he didn’t see how that was anything that he should be ashamed of. Shu was afraid of a lot of things, it wasn’t a bad thing and he was still the happy kid he always was; maybe Takeshi just needed to let loose sometimes and not need to show how serious he could be to all the others. Either way, this was a pretty interesting adventure; the case of the missing food and who might have been stealing it. They could easily have someone from the Saiyan army who got left behind, he did know there was some other aliens wandering around since he saw one near Vegeta when he woke up but it didn’t seem like it was one of them. It was so mysterious, but he was a little worried of what they might find.

Looking up to Yumi, he let out a sigh and looked around curiously, bouncing slightly to avoid the mess on the floor. He didn’t know where they lead to, he didn’t even know where this place was or why it was quite dark. Maybe there was a reason it was a little dark, but he guessed that was where Vegeta’s decision came in. He wasn’t afraid of it, but maybe Yumi was a little uncomfortable with it. Giving her a quick look, he soon tried to imitate her by closing his eyes and sniffing around, even though his nose wasn’t as good as hers. While Saiyans had strong noses too, they were definitely not as good as Yumi’s or Viral’s, “Lots of stuff…uh huh…” he spoke, looking up to Yumi again, “I can’t smell much along here…”

It was definitely pretty difficult understanding what was going on, but it was definitely something out there and it was probably not anything good at all. He didn’t know where he was at all, but as they made it to the end they were confronted with a room of some kind. Whatever had gone into the room sure did make a mess of the panel for opening it, the marks in it damaging it but apparently not removing its function. Frowning a little, he looked up to Yumi and Takeshi, slowly moving behind them, “Did something sneak on the ship…?” Frowning a little, he watched as the door was slowly opened. There was a strange smell inside, like a mix of food and metal. Looking around slowly, he gasped a little when Takeshi summoned up some Ki, the light hardly lighting up a fraction of the massive room.

On the floor there were remnants of food, but at some point along the way there was also a few scratches here and there that were mending slowly thanks to some technology that Shu had never seen. With bits and pieces of food and even some material lying around, within the room there was a faint hissing noise, the sounds of something dropping before skittering away further into the darkness. It sounded like some sort of animal, but it was keeping away from the Ki glow completely. Gasping, Shu quickly moved close to Yumi, “Uhh…t-there’s something in there…” he muttered, keeping his voice low.
Shu was definitely feeling scared of the cramped space, but with Takeshi and Yumi there to keep him safe there was nothing he couldn’t handle, hopefully. He was definitely a little more than worried, but if he could keep them close to him then he should be completely fine. This room was similar to the one from the place Korian came from, but even then it freaked him out when he went in it. Looking up to Takeshi, his tail curled around his own tail, a frown on his face for a moment, “I hope they didn’t take too much…or anything that might had been possibly fruit”, he squeaked, watching as the doors closed on the elevator before he squeezed onto Yumi a little tighter. Being in a box was scary, he had been in one way too many times and every other time it had been a bad thing.

Looking up to Yumi, he smiled a little when she petted his head, feeling a little better upon looking at someone instead of completely shutting everything out. Looking to Takeshi at the bug comment, he squeaked a laugh, finding it still amusing that he was scared of bugs. He couldn’t understand it, most of them were harmless and if they did hurt then it was just a sting or a nip, “All crawly crawling everywhere…and tasty too!” He definitely found it pretty amusing, looking back to Yumi as if wondering if she might be afraid of them too. Tilting his head a little, he soon looked to the buttons and watched as she pressed it only for him to yelp when it suddenly moved. Lifting his feet off the ground, he stood on his tail instead, staring down at the floor before letting out a sigh, “It’s not falling…it’s okay!”

Keeping a tight hold of Yumi was definitely helping, the weird feeling of light-headedness while going down was definitely pretty interesting too. Pressing himself against Yumi, the moment the elevator stopped the doors opened up, the food looking pretty dominant here. He did wonder whether they were going backwards, but then again the food hall was up near where they came from and this was definitely elsewhere. It was a little dark down the hallway, but the food wasn’t hard to see. Slowly moving off Yumi, he jumped out after Yumi directed him, looking back to them quickly before down at the food, “Thing? So maybe it’s not someone we know?” he asked, watching his feet with the crumbs everywhere, “What is down here, anyway…? Adventure!”
Shu gave Takeshi a quick look when he went to pick up some of the food, rubbing it before suddenly deciding it was too nasty to touch. That was certainly a strange action he took, but maybe he was planning on eating it instead, “Why would you pick it up? Are you hungry?” he asked curiously, tilting his head a little. It was an awfully strange action to take, but he probably shouldn’t be going into the subject too much if that was how Takeshi liked to do things. Feeling a little more curious to what it could be, he scratched his chest before looking up to Yumi, giving a little smile. She should know what to do, seeing as how she was the one who was more determined to find the one leaving the mess. Maybe she was annoyed that they were essentially stealing food, especially when they had just eaten some.

Yumi certainly looked a lot more awake now than she did a few minutes ago upon seeing the mess, making Shu feel pretty happy. She was able to function better now and that was good, seeing as how he was feeling bad for dragging her out of bed just because he thought it would be nice to go adventuring around the place with her. The ship was absolutely huge and even though he didn’t like being along in the corridors, he was fair excited to see what was in and around the area. Staring up at her, he gave a quick nod and looked away, “I know, I just don’t like being on my own in this place”, he spoke quickly, “I’m scared of the tight spaces, but I shouldn’t be because I’m just having a bad time”.

Standing just at the elevator, he listened to it slowly rising up, tilting his head at the changing symbols above it. It was certainly a strange machine, shame he couldn’t read too. Watching as it opened up, it certainly seemed like the person who took the food went down in it, his eyes quickly going to Yumi before to Takeshi. He felt a little nervous at first, but once Yumi had gone in and Takeshi stepped to the side, he hesitated at first before slowly moving in only to dash to Yumi and make a sudden grasp for her waist. Feeling a little better just from doing that, he looked to Takeshi quickly, frowning, “Well…if it was, wouldn’t we feel bad?” he asked, looking to the buttons on the wall. It appeared as if one of the very bottom buttons had food stuck to it, probably saying where they went, “Would one be able to use those things too…?”
Shu had no idea how food had managed to end up this far away from the food hall, but somebody was definitely dragging it around and probably had a good bit of it in their grasp. It was certainly interesting, seeing as how everyone had ate not that long ago. Sniffing around, he squeaked when he was squeezed, giggling away, “Noooo! I don’t want to fall asleep on the floor!” he smiled, wiggling his hands around for a moment before he was released, turning to Takeshi a little, “I’m okay though! Maybe I just got really bored”. He would be fine on making excuses to why he fainted if they didn’t think he was suffering from something and they didn’t know what, making him feel a little sad by the thought. He was fine, just hopefully they would see that he was fine too.

Brushing down his feet a little bit, he looked to Yumi quickly, bouncing a little on his toes as he moved around, “I just don’t want to be doing something without someone else knowing I’m doing it because you all get worried if I do things by myself”, he nodded quickly, smiling at her. Deciding to direct his attention downwards again to see where the mess was coming from, the direction it lead to was strange yet handy considering it was where they were going anyway. Staring down at the ground curiously, he tilted his head a little before looking back up to Yumi as she grabbed his hand, “Okay! Hopefully it’s not something from the planet we were on because that would make me sad”, he nodded, walking on off towards the elevator with Yumi, trying to avoid the food from getting it between his toes; he didn’t much like the thought of standing on something that had been in someone’s mouth. Watching the trail, as they reached the elevator he thought it was strange that the door looked a little scratched, maybe from the monster that was on their ship before.

T’charrl knew it was very important, maybe one time he would be able to learn how to read it as well and find his way around the ship. He had a lot of learning to do, but that was all part of the deal with coming out to space and seeing the world for what it was worth. He was really willing to learn and trying his hardest, but there was always going to be that limitation to how much he could learn all at once without getting too tired or for Vegeta to run out of steam during sessions. Rubbing his chest a little, he frowned slightly on the subject of his scouter, hoping it would be able to cope unless he’d be able to take it off quick enough, but then again if none of them had scouters on and he lost control then he wouldn’t be able to regain his mind without recognising them. Giving a little nod, he straightened himself up slightly only to lean forward again, “I’m ready! I can do this, maybe I’ll be able to speak a whole sentence…”
Shu was pretty happy to be out with the three of them, giving him the same feeling as being back on Master Roshi’s island again. It was a nice memory to remember, them all training together to learn a technique that was powerful but pure in the right hands. He did miss the island as well as the smell of the sea when he was there, letting out a sigh at such a memory. Looking to Takeshi again, he giggled a little and decided to walk a little more normal, feeling pretty amused, “Okay! Wrong way, now right way”, he nodded, scratching his stomach, “Elevator! That’s still a strange word….” He did wonder what it was, but if it was going to take them to the training room to at least see where it was then he would be quite happy to go and check it out. He really didn’t know much when it came to technology, but if it was going to help him find places then he was happy enough to go and check the places out.

Looking to Yumi when she spoke up, he smiled as he listened to her and just how tired she was, feeling a little bad that he dragged her out of bed to go on an exploration, “Ooooh, squeezing really does make you tired…it makes me tired”, he nodded, giving her a smile, “I felt really tired before, but I feel fine now! I fell on the ground for no reason”. He would enjoy their time better if he wasn’t making Yumi feel all drowsy, but he did hope it would make her feel better to be talking to them and walking along with them. Giggling when she gave his cheek a pinch, he rubbed it quickly as he looked up at her, “Noooo! Well maybe, I don’t know how strong I am”, he said quickly, shaking his head, “We could see sometime! I don’t know if we’re allowed to train in the room for training without Mister Vegeta knowing…” Feeling pretty happy as he walked along, that happiness soon quickly turned to curiosity when a strange smell became present. He could have sworn it was like the food hall, only more like food rather than hall. Looking around, he soon turned his attention to the floor when he felt something between his toes, lifting his foot momentarily and finding crumbs stuck to his foot, “Ooh? Uhhh, I have food on my foot…”

T’charrl was feeling pretty confident, hoping he would please his mother and father when he finally returned. He wondered if he could talk to them through the communications sometime and show off his skill to them, but he would need to know more than ‘hello’ to show off, at least. Running his claws around his scouter, he nodded a little before looking down slightly, “Yeah, I guess I’ll have a lot to teach others, huh?” he spoke, looking back up, “I mean, how to talk and about what I am. I can’t lead people if I’m hiding something from them”. It would be pretty difficult to convince others that he wasn’t dangerous, but hopefully he’d be able to get some training and finally gain control of his powers and not be stuck in this form. Rubbing his claws together, he tilted his head slightly before trying to remove the scouter with a few taps, finding it pretty well stuck unless he pulled it off, “Too much stress? Hopefully my powers don’t cause it too much stress…I mean, I think it’s only Takeshi’s friends who have seen what my powers can become. Learning your language is definitely a step forward, but hopefully it helps the most concerning my worries over the scouter and whether it might come under too much stress by accident”.
