Shu watched T’charrl in fascination, the guy getting it pretty quickly compared to how he managed on his first try. He looked like a natural with channelling energy, but then again from what he understood it was something he did often before this anyway. Feeling pretty happy, he watched his energy curiously before looking down at his own hands as he tried to do what his brother and friend did as well. Gathering his energy was pretty wild as usual, his energy buzzing as he tried to keep it under control. It was definitely pretty difficult trying to keep it in a decent and constant shape, trying hard to keep it together like T’charrl. He wasn’t interested in competing, but he did want to get to the same level of practice that T’charrl was at while keeping at his, especially when being a Saiyan meant being quick to learn Ki. Feeling pretty pleased with his creation, he stared at it before he threw it out into the sea only for it to explode before it even touched the water.

T’charrl hoped he was doing it right; his energy didn’t seem to want to behave quite like Takeshi’s one. Shu’s one appeared pretty unstable, but he thought that was normal for the kid considering he was young and probably too full of energy to control it properly. Feeling a little less confident in himself, he kept a hold of his own energy, staring at it before releasing it after Shu threw his. While it didn’t pop like Shu’s did, it sliced the water before finally exploding. Feeling proud of himself for a second, he soon moved back a little, rubbing his claws together, “Was that okay…? Was it supposed to do that?”

Viral wasn’t sure what to tell this man, probably because he was a little dazed and wasn’t entirely sure what this man was wanting from him. Finding answers was hard, his mind having a good dance around with his hands pressing against his head to try and control it. Not looking like he was in any pain at least, he sighed heavily and continued to stare downwards, feeling pretty light as Roshi continued to question him, “Bad things for fun…like fighting…and killing”, he muttered, slowly removing his hands from his head and going back to playing around with the grass, looking rather content. He didn’t have to think this hard today until now, but Roshi was once again giving him difficult questions as he continued on, “No...I don’t know these stupid things…” he grumbled, shaking his head slowly, “I don’t have a birthday…how should I know how old…? I don’t count my age; there’s no point”.
Shu was pretty happy to learn this all again despite having a little bit of experience when it came to doing this. He wasn’t very good at controlling what kind of level of output he was giving out when it came to Ki and that would be deadly in battle for him and his opponent. If he got tired after using too much Ki, he’d be useless in battle until he got more energy. Feeling pretty calm and a little jumpy, he stared at Takeshi as he made his explanation and demonstration, his head slowly tilting to the side as he spoke before suddenly bouncing on the spot when Takeshi caused the water to explode, “Ooh! Boom! I do that without meaning to a lot”, he spoke quickly, giving a little smile, “I hope I don’t blow up because it kind of hurts…” Pressing his fingers together lightly, he stared at them as he contemplated how he might handle this, feeling worried that he was going to end up releasing too much. It would probably be better for T’charrl to get that down before he tried to do it, especially when he was doing that quite a lot when he was trying to get Ki control.

T’charrl thought this was definitely something he needed to learn, especially when he lacked weapons and he was trained in them pretty strongly. He had trained hard when it came to weapons and if he could use Ki then that would become another for him and one that would be a lot handier than weapons that could break. Watching Takeshi curiously, he watched as the ball of energy flew off and exploded elsewhere, raising his hands quickly as if he was going to be hit by water. Turning it into something like that appeared pretty difficult, but maybe he was overthinking it and worrying over nothing. Raising his hands, he let out a sigh as he watched Takeshi produce an even bigger ball, feeling a little confused to why it was always spherical. Maybe if he could master it he might be able to create his own kinds of attacks, but for now he needed to try and do this rounder version first. Copying Takeshi, he gave a little nod and tried to summon the energy again and project it out. Pulling out his energy again, he tried to go a step further and project it, creating a spark at first before trying to force it out some more. The spark grew bigger steadily, his eyes staring down at it with constant concentration as he tried to get it to form. He could see Shu staring at him as he tried to create the ball, the energy looking very rough but his own experience of energy projection playing a role in his training in this, “…It feels so raw…it won’t explode in my face, will it…?”

Viral wasn’t sure how to feel as this strange man sat beside him, feeling like he would be close to a freak-out if he wasn’t so chilled out on medicine. Staring down at the grass as he shifted it between his claws, he barely seemed to be listening to a word that Roshi was saying as his head slowly tilted to the side, his eyes staring into nothingness as he let out a groan, “…Goku…that guy…” he muttered, sounding as if he was actually experiencing distaste in his condition. He was coming down gradually from his medicine, its effects wearing off and his mind beginning to mould back into what it was before. Slowly rubbing as his head, he swayed slightly as he tried to concentrate on what was being told to him as the questions suddenly got complicated, “I’m…a Beastman, artificial life…created for…I don’t know”, he muttered, not enjoying how he was needing to think more, “I…kill people. Do bad things, those fun things…hunt and kill and hunt and kill…”
Shu was happy to do what Takeshi wanted to do, but the guy always seemed so indecisive with what he wanted to do with him. He didn’t know how to make decisions when everything Takeshi did in his world was pretty foreign for him and he knew Takeshi didn’t like doing what he liked for fun. With no trees other than a few on the island and the house not looking too much like a climbing frame, he had to go with some of T’charrl’s desires and what he learned from Yumi. Tilting his head a little at Takeshi, he smiled and nodded quickly, bouncing on the spot, “Training! I believe in Friend T’charrl to get strong too”, he spoke quickly, giving Takeshi a quick look before giving a little nod, “Uh huh, we’re not very strong yet too…” Feeling the ups and downs of mood going through his system, he gave Takeshi a smile again, “I know how to release it…kind of…”

T’charrl was pretty confident in himself, but he still didn’t feel like he could fight with his Ki yet. He hoped he was able to do what they could do before they left the planet. Looking between Takeshi and Shu, he nodded quickly and lifted his hands to chest-height, “I hope I can do it, I really do”, he spoke quickly, his orbs glowing pretty quickly as he gathered energy, “I can get it really fast now! Isn’t this great? Your Master Roshi really helped me out a lot…but how do I use it? It’s the opposite of my power, I understand that…” He hoped things were going to go as planned this time, he didn’t want to cause a whole forest to sprout on this little island just because he couldn’t control himself.

Viral wasn’t sure what to think or feel right now, his eyes unable to focus on anything and yet he didn’t care. He was fine with feeling lost and by himself with nothing to bother him, the scenery doing nothing to offer him any sort of calm to get to that point. Staring out at absolutely nothing, he barely made any reaction to Roshi sitting down close to him and talking to him as he only lifted his head a little bit. Feeling completely out of it, he slowly rubbed his paws together, slowly staring down at them as if wondering why they were moving, “…Do I know you…” he muttered, slowly looking up, “Do I even care…”
Viral was pretty angry for that moment he had managed to toss Roshi, finding it too much to bare. Growling lowly as he watched Roshi bounce away and land in the sand, he drooped slightly before making a glance away. Looking off and away to his surroundings, he slightly swayed on the spot before gradually sitting down, grumbling as he did. He was still fairly spaced out with no depressing thoughts going through his mind, no bad memories pulling him down; of course, that meant there was generally nothing at all. He was dazed and confused for the most part, a little in the clouds with little to think about. The sand was soft around here, the grass too as it swayed gently in the breeze. There was nothing for him to think about all while his mind refused to keep itself together.

Shu didn’t know what to think about Roshi going flying like that, watching him bounce along after Viral tossed him. It was hard to protest against anything Viral did, especially when he seemed completely out of it and almost empty. Frowning a little, he looked up to Yumi as she wandered into the house, going for something called a phone by the sounds of it. Feeling curious, he stared at the house before his eyes snapped up to Takeshi, giving him a little smile as he bounced lightly on his toes, “Play and train! Less places to run here, more to do!” he spoke quickly, looking around, “Can train or try swimming or try flying or something else? Friend T’charrl wanted to come here a lot too”.

Feeling a little singled out in the moment, T’charrl shuffled his feet a little and moved back slightly. He didn’t know whether he was supposed to say something about that or just let it drift off, but he did have his own reasons for coming. He was far away from others here, even if Takeshi’s house was pretty secluded it didn’t feel secluded enough; besides, with all this water it actually felt like a challenge getting over here. He had managed a lot better than he did before over the water, he didn’t feel so tired either after having all those smoothies too, “U-Umm, I should try and train more to get on your level of Ki control, if I can even get there”, he spoke after a brief pause, looking around nervously, “I don’t want my power to be too unstable when I fight and we don’t have long on your planet, so I might as well…”
Shu tilted his head, staring at Takeshi curiously before nodding, “Uh huh! Mister Viral got a lot of poking and he was all silly and drooly”, he spoke, rubbing his hands together a little nervously. He didn’t like a lot of the stuff that went on and Viral got the brunt of it, probably sparing himself because they didn’t want to damage the King’s son too much while Viral wasn’t the least bit related. Feeling a little lost in thought, he squeaked a little when he noticed Takeshi was looking through his hair, turning to look at him when he stopped, “Ooh? You grooming me?” he asked curiously, looking happy over the possibility, “Grooming Shu? I washed all nice and clean like you told me to, I didn’t hurt my head…” Feeling pretty happy now, he picked up the suitcase and waved it around casually before moving over to T’charrl, giving his arm a little tug, “Come, friend! I’m happy and you should be happy too!” Moving after Takeshi, he bounced along quite happily, keeping a tight hold of the money, “Shark? Swim? I remember you helping me to swim; my clan don’t know how to swim either, so I didn’t know how to swim and learning to swim was fun”.

Viral felt incredibly lazy, unable to find the strength to combat Yumi in his struggle to be independent and find out what was causing that strange imagery. For a while there he really did thought it was their spirits trying to leave them, but it seemed it wasn’t and he was right to investigate. He didn’t know what was happening to him or what was causing his mind to project such strange imagery, but otherwise he didn’t care because he wasn’t in the right mind to care. Looking slowly up to Yumi again, he sighed as he moved to hold onto her, not having any sort of care to what he looked like as he grasped his fingers around her shoulders and held on tight. Staring down once they finally took off, he took little notice of the road ahead and instead stared downwards at the passing colours and waves as they headed on off to wherever she had said they were heading.

Shu had decided to take Nimbus again as they headed on back to Roshi’s place, the suitcase having been dropped off at Takeshi’s house and T’charrl now not pretending to be a giant ghost. Finally arriving back at Kame House, Shu bounced off Nimbus and briefly shook himself with T’charrl landing not too far off either, both of them looking particularly refreshed after eating those smoothies. With Roshi looking completely out of it, Shu let out a squeal when the mug was shattered by Takeshi, feeling a little intimidated by the sudden noise. Moving off towards T’charrl, he stood close beside him with a frown on his face as Roshi finally woke up. Giving a little wave, he looked towards Yumi and Viral, hoping everything was going to be okay between Roshi and Viral.

Viral wasn’t sure what he was doing here, but of course he didn’t have much of a mind right now. He was very mellow and there was very little going through his mind despite knowing where he was and what he was doing here. Feeling pretty empty inside, he stood around with a gentle sway before his eyes went to Yumi and Roshi when Yumi let out a yelp. Not fully seeing what happened, he kept his eyes focused on the pair right up until Roshi approached him and stood right close to him. Staring at him a moment, he soon let out a low growl and grabbed hold of Roshi’s shirt before making an attempt to throw him away with a sudden aggressive toss with little care to whether he was old and possibly frail like he appeared.
Shu didn’t know where Viral was going, but he was more than happy to listen to what Yumi had to say about what these strange activities were, immediately finding something fun in them, “Oooh! Ball? Ball! Hit the ball! Net? Nets are bad, though…” he spoke, feeling a little unsure about that game; however, the other sounded pretty good too, “Ooohhh hide away all sneaky…I can do that! Never find me”. Slowly lowering himself behind the table, he looked over it when Yumi sure enough spotted Viral disappearing off into the crowd, coming close to attacking someone as they wandered away unnoticed. Watching her go off and away, he smiled nervously before looking to the table again, “I don’t have any favourites…I like everyone the same…”

Shu didn’t know what was wrong with Viral, but it was awfully reminiscent to what he had seen before from the Beastman when they were in captivity. Sometimes after certain treatments Viral would be pretty out of it and disorientated, almost the same as this but with less drooling and actual speaking sometimes. Frowning a little, he looked up to Takeshi, “Medicine? Oooohhh, that’s what’s wrong with him…?” he repeated, lowering a little, “So Mister Vegeta didn’t cut his head open and poke him?” Feeling a little less worried yet still concerned, he stood up straight again and quickly nodded, bouncing around, “Okay! Okay! Friend T’charrl can come too! I hope Mister Viral will be okay too; maybe he will like the beach…”

Viral was pretty distracted, trying to attack the strange glowing moving image that followed behind these people. It was as if he was grabbing their soul everytime and yet they didn’t seem to notice. Following this fellow away, he was unaware that Yumi was chasing after him up until she grabbed hold of him, his claws just missing the man as he was pulled away. Continuing to stare as he was dragged off, he slowly looked off towards her without a word or question to what she was doing. He didn’t need to be saved from that, he was doing just fine on his own. He didn’t know how to feel about everything that was happening around him or what he was doing, but he wasn’t capable of thinking about much and just seemed to go with her dragging him away, his feet almost dragging as he went away with her.
Viral just stared at her, not looking as if he understood her one bit. It was so unusual for her to respond in that manner, especially to him and he recognised it. Half expecting some sort of answer to come out of her, he continued to give her a good staring at before he slowly looked away again and back to what was left of his drink. Feeling a little lost in his own world, lifting up his drink and tilting it back apparently meant he was consuming it all now, sipping it back gently until it was all gone. It wasn’t even alcoholic and managed to disappoint Viral for a moment, but quickly forgetting that problem he was soon shoving it forward and left to his own devices, his eyes wandering up and around as shapes and colours flowed by him unusually. He hadn’t seen so many colours before; everything appeared to be moving too with an after-glow effect following them. Staring at them with mild curiosity, he moved his hand out a little bit and tried to bat the strange movement, not getting very far with it by sitting down with the images being far off.

Shu was fair happy, feeling right at home with everyone relaxing and wanting to do all sorts of things with him. He wasn’t sure what he wanted to do, but knowing everyone else wanted to relax and do other things made him feel pretty content with everything. Frowning a little when he didn’t get an answer about Viral, he slowly moved a finger around on the desk with little care to what he was supposed to be thinking about, knowing it was their decision to what she wanted to do with him. Smiling, he looked back up at her and tilted his head, looking a little confused over her idea of play, “Volleyball? What that? Hide and seek? Hiding fun”, he nodded, looking back down at the table for a second before his eyes went to Takeshi.

It seemed everyone wanted to do something with him and he couldn’t help but feel a little overwhelmed by it all, not knowing what he was supposed to do to please them. T’charrl seemed fine, he probably had plans in mind considering he was just listening in out of curiosity. Looking between them all, he watched Yumi clean up the cups before he looked back to his brother, bouncing a little, “I want to play with everybody! Is it bad to? We could all play together! It’s okay, right?” Feeling a little confused through all of the requests, he bounced off his seat as he stared up at Yumi, “I have Nimbus! I’ll be fine, thank you Friend Yumi”, he smiled, giving a little nod before looking off to Viral; however, problem was Viral was no longer in his seat and was instead walking away with a stumble, almost coming close to swiping people from behind as he chased the blurry objects”.
Viral couldn’t care less whether he wanted to go and see Roshi in the end, his mind not quite finding that level of annoyance and grouchiness to respond in a bad way. Despite not really caring for fruit much, he continued to drink the smoothie without much of a care in the world or even understanding why he was here. His mind was more than a little out there, he wasn’t used to what he was taking and it all had a pretty strong effect on him considering he had been off food and sleep for the longest time. His body was failing him before so this recovery stuff was definitely difficult, but his mind was finding it even harder when chemicals were so easily absorbed with greater effects than intended. Nursing over the smoothie, he soon let out a groan and stuck his elbow out in Yumi’s direction, “…This doesn’t even have milk in it…” he grumbled, pushing it away momentarily before pulling it back to himself again, “How do you sleep at night…”

Shu had a good meal with those smoothies, really enjoying them considering he missed them for so long. He loved them and enjoyed the flavours that came with them, filling him up and making him feel satisfied. Letting out a sigh, he looked over to T’charrl and Yumi, smiling a little before looking to Viral as he managed to draw attention to himself again by actually speaking. Shu was a little concerned, probably because he knew Viral wasn’t like this and there didn’t appear to be a reason for it to happen, “Did Mister Vegeta probe his brain like the Saiyans?” he asked, feeling a little concerned as he lowered his head, “He sounds weird…” Sure enough, he was distracted again by Yumi again after giving him a kick, his eyes quickly snapping to her as he tilted his head. Feeling a little confused at first, he soon smiled and bounced on his seat a little, “I wanna play! I wanna play!” he squeaked, feeling all energetic, “I really want to! Where will we go and play? In the stone jungle? Somewhere else? I hope Master Roshi doesn’t mind us doing that…I do miss playing…”
T’charrl scratched his chin, feeling a little puzzled over the predicament. Master Roshi didn’t know if he was male or female, in fact differences between a male and female Kaesstrian wasn’t something an alien would be able to understand apart from height and size. Females were a lot larger than the males while he was an exception just now, but there were other things that made them different too. Feeling a little confused by it all, he smiled a little and gave a nod, “I’ll soon understand your ways, but maybe I shouldn’t try to understand something like that”. He was fair enjoying himself despite everything that seemed to be coming to light, feeling refreshed by everything. The drinks were delicious and he couldn’t feel embarrassed about the sheet when it gave him just that little bit more security. Staring at Yumi as he drank up, he still felt a little sad that she confirmed it too. Shifting a little uncomfortably, he looked around at the other aliens around him, feeling a little nervous, “Ehhh I don’t know, I mean…I’m really big too, like real big compared to your kind and wouldn’t I be called out for some kind of monster? I’m just worried about people freaking out over me, I guess”.

Viral definitely had a short term memory thing going on, his mind wandering away as he drifted into a slumber. Leaning on his hand, he hardly seemed to be able to keep his mind together and was allowing it to settle in a pool of mud where he didn’t want to move from. Snoring a little as he rested his head on his hand, he gasped a little when he was bumped, his eyes glancing over to Yumi. He didn’t really know what she was saying or why she was saying such things, but he knew who Master Roshi was as if listening to their conversation and in response he let out a groan and tried to shove her at arm’s length. He wasn’t saying yes or no to it, his unwillingness to do anything and yet was being lead around just made him look submissive. Grabbing hold of the smoothie, he slowly inched it towards him and simply gave it a sniff before slowly sipping at it, any sort of protest hardly looking obvious.
Viral had fair clamped down on his arm this time instead with every intention to cause discomfort. It was as if he wanted to eat him but was putting in such a lack of strength into it that it was impossible to accomplish. Keeping a fair good grasp on him, he growled lowly as Takeshi wrestled with him, trying to get him to let go. After a few moments of wrestling and pulling back and forth, Viral was soon made to let go and Takeshi immediately scattered away and hiding away from him. Stumbling a little, he scratched his chest a little before shaking his head quickly, finding it a little confusing to what was happening. Rubbing his head slowly as he wandered back to the table, he slowly sat down before resting his head on his arm. He looked fairly tired not to mention he barely appeared to look remorseful over what he did to Takeshi, looking as if he forgot all about it pretty quickly since Takeshi was gone from his vision.

T’charrl was definitely pretty happy with himself, probably a little too happy over something they all knew how to do. Feeling pretty proud, he nodded and pulled the smoothie closer to him, his tongue not affecting his speech pattern, “Oh? A pervert? He seemed okay to me”, he spoke, trying to think about it and what might be something humans would point out a pervert as, “He helped me understand it and telling the difference between my power and my energy. I didn’t see anything bad in the man, at least not what I saw of him”. Feeling a little confused with what to feel, he suckled on his smoothie calmly, feeling pretty well settled. This energy would keep him going for a while, at least until he used it all up through intense training. Giving a quick glance up at Yumi again, he frowned slightly, looking around, “Umm, well…Takeshi said I look like a…like a ‘bug’ you people have on your planet and if I look like one, and if they see a giant one walking around I might freak some people out. I don’t want to upset anyone and scaring people. I’ve not seen other aliens yet…except some furry people…”
