After a few days T’charrl had managed to recover from his sudden bout of metamorphosis and recovered his energy, the change taking a lot more out of him than he thought it might. It was all for the good of his friends, he really wanted to help them get that wish but he couldn’t help but think he was going in the wrong direction somehow. He was strong now, but he looked more like a beast with his wild mane, large muscles and walking with the aid of his secondary arms. He may had been heavy, but his wings were strong enough to still allow flight. He had his scouter this time, but he didn’t really want to talk to people incase they questioned how he looked. He was scared of everything at this point, but he did wonder if that Saiyan that was poking at him before might have some way to help him. Keeping to the back of the pack, he kept his head low and backed off when Leto decided he’d try to grab them all in a hug.

Shu was pretty happy with himself and everything that had been happening lately, even if his friend in the back was a bit cowardly for good reason. He probably didn’t want to hurt anybody, he thought, but he was just assuming because he was a big cuddle-monster right now as opposed to a fluffy climbing frame like before. Going from a ship back to another ship was not the most ideal situation for him, he was missing his fresh air and the feeling of real dirt between his toes, even if Takeshi wasn’t someone who enjoyed that kind of thing. Smiling away at Leto, he squeaked when the big guy went in for a hug but Takeshi was unfortunately grabbed instead, his eyes staring at the pair before he giggled when Takeshi was left alone again. Looking up at him, he soon let out a squeal at his grumpiness before going in for a hug, “I want the hug I missed now!”

Viral, on the other hand, didn’t really want to be on this ship. He didn’t want to be surrounded by the rebels once again and he had no idea why he was even here. He didn’t need to be here, he wasn’t happy to be surrounded by these people and he still didn’t like being in space and not on the ground. Everything didn’t feel right and he was out of his natural environment completely. His progress over the last few days had been pretty varied, but he was pretty tired and hadn’t slept much. He couldn’t keep the nightmares and flashbacks away without the medicine, but he didn’t want to take it since it altered his mood and made him feel pretty lousy. He should have been able to handle it without the medicine like a normal warrior. Keeping quiet for now, he stepped back when the alien approached with the intentions of a hug, but with Takeshi taking the blow he was free to move on with all the hatred towards this man prevented for now. Frowning slightly, he looked to Vegeta as he explained what the rebels were before Viral grunted, “Tch! Liberated…sure…” he mumbled, “Liberate them…then demand ‘payment’ by allowing them to take control of their planet…”
T’charrl could only hope they understood him because he was really not comfortable sitting like this and quite frankly it was painful, his body hurting all over with certain points being worse than others. He wanted to get out of here and elsewhere, but quite frankly he could use someone to talk to even if the language barrier was present for now. He could keep his mind together better when he had company, but quite frankly he felt ashamed of himself and embarrassed. He wished he could talk with his mother about now, but he was in no state to and this was probably not the best time either. Frowning as he stared up at Yumi, he looked down at himself slowly, kicking his legs out a little and looking at them, “Y-Yesss…yeah…” he spoke, staring down at himself before looking up at Yumi with a frown, “Not sssure how to…how to walk…? Heavy and-…I-I’m sorrrry…” He could barely move and with his energy being pretty low he didn’t know where he might find the strength to get on his feet. He felt awkwardly shaped and a little too heavy, his wonder being directed towards the thought of how he was supposed to move this muscular frame. His other form appeared to be speed-based while this was pure raw strength, but the form that mattered to him most was his original form and that didn’t appear to be happening anytime soon. He felt like a monster right now, like a cave painting from the ruins of his kind’s old civilisation.

Shu bounced a little on his toes, getting a little excited now that he knew his friend was okay. He was really worried that something happened to him, but all that did happen was he got a little fatter, hairier and looked like he had been training a ton. He still felt a little sad about him, he wasn’t happy at all and appeared to be struggling; but no wonder, he looked heavy and he was very tired. Looking up at Takeshi, he giggled a little but when he was threatened with the removal of fruit he let out a squeal, making a grab for Takeshi’s shirt and pulling when he got a hold of it, “Nooooo!! Fruit is mine for me! You no the boss of me!” he squealed before letting out a giggle, “We need to train more! Or eat…then train! Noooo wait! We should get sweet stuff for Friend T’charrl first!”

Viral glanced at Vegeta, a little suspicious over what he was saying for a moment before looking away again. He didn’t see Vegeta taking much interest in his own experiences or what he did during his time under the King’s rule, but it wasn’t as if anybody really cared and just wanted to pretend it didn’t happen. That was the case for a lot of the stuff he did, but it was probably because they all cared for was getting another fighter out on the field again without him being so utterly useless. Getting angry at Vegeta, he frowned at his reasoning before letting out an angry huff, “Fine! I get it! Fine…” he snapped before letting out a sigh, shaking his head. Vegeta implying that he might steal drinks was a bit much, especially when he was supposed to have a sense of honour, “I am not a thief so I won’t be sneaking around like a coward. I’m not supposed to be a child either, so don’t think you’re my nanny or something. Just…get me some ice or something…a cup of ice…”
T’charrl didn’t like taking energy from other people, especially his friends. It was alright when he had to do it, he had to take the General’s energy for example, but to have to take it just because he was weak and unable to move was just a little mentally painful for him to complete. He didn’t want to have to end up becoming a parasite. Shifting onto other concerns, he gave Yumi a weak smile back before looking down again, finding it hard to get his point across. He still needed a scouter to talk, it seemed. He wasn’t smart enough to use their language on his own but he was definitely improving, just not enough. Trying to think of a way to word it, he groaned as he struggled to search for it like a kid getting stuck on a hard maths question, “Hurting! Hurting many here…” he spoke, lifting his claw towards the orb on his shoulder before to his chest and moving it down his abdomen. He was trying to make it simple by pointing to the worst part, but he really didn’t know if Yumi understood, but he sure was trying his best. Letting out a few clicking sounds, he soon rubbed his forearms sorely, feeling pretty uncomfortable, “Head funny! Maybe better later…but lot hurting…”

Shu couldn’t help but feel sympathetic towards T’charrl’s struggles, especially when he had the exact same struggle when he was taken in by that old couple. He had zero knowledge over the language, but after intense teaching and constant tutoring he was soon able to speak on a comprehensive level. T’charrl had only been trying to speak it for just over a week with a little bit of Vegeta’s help, so it was lucky that he had managed to pick up this much before their time together was over. Frowning a little, he looked to Takeshi before giving a nod, bouncing slightly on his feet, “Yeah! Friend T’charrl get all clean and…umm, dusty friends can get clean too”, he spoke, looking to Yumi and Choi; both of them were powdery, probably after carrying T’charrl from his room. Smiling a little, he lowered his head slightly when Takeshi placed his hand on his head, his eyes staring up at him before he smiled a little, “Are you sure…? Really-really?”

Viral knew what it was like being a part of the King’s army and even with his collar controlling his thoughts, everyone else around him were willing to say their feelings about the Empire and how much they enjoyed killing things; of course, he was around Elites a lot but even the soldiers would say sometimes. Looking to Vegeta, he grunted at his doubt, “Hmph, you’d think that, being an outsider”, he muttered, “Saiyans are natural killers, they even eat other races…” He was surprised they still managed to believe that he didn’t miss anything from his services for the King, but after all that torture and experimenting he was in his natural element and able to do what his natural instincts told him to do. He could fight, kill and terrorise and be praised for it, but now that he was away from all that he was in a depression where he could barely do anything. He didn’t know what he thought about his services with the King anymore, whether he actually liked it or was just lying to himself. Feeling pretty down just from his confusion and thinking that, he looked to Vegeta when he was denied his drink, frowning in annoyance, “You’d probably deny me some for whatever occasions we’ll have too”, he grumbled, looking away, “One drink wouldn’t intoxicate me, anyway…it’d just soften the blow…”
T’charrl felt disorientated and a little scared, but if he was going to prevent madness from setting in and his aggression towards his friends he was going to have to try and remain calm as much as he could. He didn’t want anyone to see him or find him, but now everyone apart from just a few were all staring at him. He tried to speak about his problems and desires, but he couldn’t think of the right words to say either and now everyone was probably going to think of him as primitive. He wanted to communicate with them, but his own scouter not being present made it awfully difficult for him. Struggling to open his eyes, he moved his head around to try and get a look at Yumi, letting out a hiss as he tried his best to sit up. His shoulder was in a lot of pain right now, so taking a second to figure that out meant he had to shift his body around to reach out with his other hand. Taking a moment of hesitation, he gently touched her with the end of his claw and drew out a small portion of energy before withdrawing again. He was able to get his eyes open some more, but his responses still appeared weak and slow, “T-Thank you…n-not good at speak…” he mumbled, his hand slowly moving up to his sore shoulder, “N-Not feel ssso good…”

Shu was getting a little worried over his friend, especially when he seemed to be getting more primitive rather than smart and happy. T’charrl didn’t look happy in the slightest and it was almost as if his friend didn’t want to have company, something very strange when he knew his friend to be happy around company. Frowning a little, he sighed and nodded at Takeshi, “We should help him get all clean and sleepy-sleep! Food too, maybe?” he asked curiously, tilting his head, “Some fruit…? You not feeling all, umm…afraidy, right?” He was a little concerned since Takeshi was scared of bugs and T’charrl did look more like a bug, just hoping T’charrl wouldn’t pick up on any fear just incase he was feeling it right now.

Viral knew a lot of the King’s tactics and having him in battle was the last thing he would want too, preferring his forces to go first. He didn’t have a lot to lose when it came to throwing men at them and a lot of them fought loyally no matter what Vegeta assumed from them. Looking to Vegeta, he sighed and shook his head, “You’re merely looking at this from the sidelines, but I’ve been a part of it”, he spoke, not finding the memories particularly easy to revisit, “They will fight loyally and proudly, a lot of them. You think they live in poverty or are scared that they will be tortured, but most of the King’s forces are not! Maybe if you defeat them they’ll switch sides, but that’s because they don’t want to be on the losing side. The soldiers you’ve encountered are the lesser forces that hold little loyalty other than survival, they’ll only change sides because you defeated them”. They really needed to get out of this naïve outlook that all the soldiers were suffering or being bossed around, but if they just looked at this ship and what a lot of them had then surely they’d realise the soldiers probably liked having all this at their disposal and Kabocha’s family should had been a sign of that. Feeling less than confident about meeting up against the King’s forces, he looked to Vegeta and frowned slightly, “Fine, you do that and just…get me a drink, or something”, he grumbled, rubbing his head a little, “Maybe something alcoholic if you packed anything…please say you did…”
Choi had quickly moved to help Yumi by the time she was grabbed by the alien, but seeing how weak he was and how out of it he appeared to be it wasn’t a good idea to startle him even more. Yumi could handle herself, even if the Kaesstrian had become aggressive with that turn. Looking to Kai, he frowned slightly when he noticed Shu and Takeshi come over to check it out too, “We just found him all big and terrifying, then Yumi shrank him down but he doesn’t look the same as before, obviously”, he sighed, looking back to T’charrl as Yumi handled his little grab, “He was all in the dark and even scared of Yumi…smelled like either he or someone had fed him down there too”.

T’charrl didn’t know what was happening or where he was, his eyes unable to open fully and allow him to see what was happening. He barely had any energy to spare and now his ears were ringing after Yumi’s yelling at him. Holding onto Yumi, his claws were slowly removed as he hissed lowly in fear, trying to understand what was going on. He was on a cold floor, somewhere slightly humid and ever so slightly cramped. Feeling disorientated and a little scared, he tried to open his eyes properly as he shifted his head. He could smell who was here, all probably staring at him and the creature he had become. He didn’t want anyone to see him until he was ready, but now he was surrounded with all of them probably questioning what had happened. Slowly shifting around, he turned to look in Yumi’s direction as he tried to understand what she was saying again, hoping he could respond in the right way, “T-T-T-Tcht-…P-Pain all sore…change…all over”, he spoke in a hiss, slowly shifting around as a big set of claws moved to his abdomen, “Get ssstrong…b-but hurting…can’t stop! Hungry, energy…”

Shu was confused to what had happened to T’charrl and what made him change form; even his way of speaking was broken. His friend didn’t look well at all and could probably use some food and sleep, but not at the same time despite how he looked. Looking to Takeshi, he frowned a little before looking back to T’charrl, “Friend looks different…and scared”, he spoke lowly, scratching his chest, “Friend needs help! He’s a big fluffy bug all smelly and hungry…what if he gets bigger and fluffier again in here…? What do we do?”

Viral let out a grumble, not all too fussed about Vegeta being cheeky towards him. He was not exactly in the best of moods and he was fairly defeated in words, but he wasn’t out of the fight completely just yet. If he could get his own way in the future then the joke would be on Vegeta and he’ll be able to bully him instead. Grumbling lowly, he wasn’t left much of a choice since he had the guilt of his possible transformation if he didn’t eat and then Vegeta could laugh at him some more as he scratched behind his ear and petted him some more, “It’s not even the King we have to worry about when it comes to fighting, but having an entire Empire come charging at us instead”, he sighed, knowing the strength of the King beyond what he was himself, “He has the power of many planets on his side…” Letting out a grumble, he shook his head as thoughts of the future went through his head, his eyes soon going back to Vegeta as he frowned, “I don’t know if I trust your cooking…but I also don’t know if I’m hungry. I don’t exactly feel right thanks to you…”
Choi smiled nervously, slowly looking away from her and sighing. He was just saying what could possibly happen, but he really didn’t know if he was just joking when it could very well happen. Looking to Yumi, he took in some reassurance that the alien was alright when she found a pulse. So the alien really was just unconscious, but it wasn’t as if he could help worry over him when he didn’t know where the guy’s lungs were to check if he was breathing. Pulling at his collar a little, he backed off a little before gasping when Yumi suddenly shouted in what was presumably T’charrl’s ear, the sound of Takeshi also coming from the door as well.

T’charrl hadn’t made a move since he was taken to the shower, nor did he look all that well. He barely had any energy and was running on fumes, but he was still alive and that was all that counted right now. With no awareness to Yumi’s plans, when she suddenly shouted in his ear he woke up with a start, looking very disorientated before he made a grab for Yumi with an angry hiss. He didn’t seem to be in his right mind, especially considering his large eyes were not fully open and he looked positively out of it with even his attempted grab at Yumi being weak.

Shu hoped Kai was incorrect; his friend didn’t need to be tortured even further by that guy with his nasty remarks and attempts of causing him pain. He didn’t want T’charrl to have to be bullied again, but the guy was already on edge about everything, but for him to get hurt was definitely something to be worried about. Looking up at Takeshi, he squeaked when Yumi suddenly shouted, his eyes quickly going up to him before he made a quick dash, “Yumi! Friend T’charrl!” he squeaked, rushing over immediately before letting out a sudden yell, “Ah! Miss Yumi!” He hadn’t seen T’charrl like this before, but whatever happened he was taken aback by T’charrl’s actions more so than his strange form.

Viral didn’t mean to snap at Vegeta, but he had a whole lot on his mind and having to make deals when he had other plans wasn’t what he wanted to do at all. He wanted freedom and to not carry the burden of a mental problem either, but that obviously wasn’t going to happen. Rubbing his head slowly, he let out a sigh and looked back to Vegeta with a frown, “Sometimes I wish I wasn’t given all of these emotions, then maybe I would still be the most powerful”, he huffed, not too pleased with the thought itself but found it better than having to worry or get stressed out and all those things. He didn’t feel like eating, he wasn’t so keen on sleeping either so he would had been better just skipping those and try to control his hunger where it mattered, “Just now? I’d kick whoever is in the training room out and use that! I know how to program that place and I won’t make it easy for myself either! The limit is the ship itself…and I hate enclosed spaces with no control…”
Choi shook himself once he had finally been allowed to release T’charrl, patting down his hair and trying to rid it of the strange dust. It was pretty nasty and he didn’t even know what it was, but whatever it was made Yumi sneeze before and that could never be anything good. Managing to get T’charrl down in a suitable position was just the start of it all, but now they had to try and wake him up. Staring down at him, he slowly rubbed his chin as Yumi made an attempt to wake him up but nothing appeared to be happening, “…You don’t think he’s dead, do you?” he asked, slowly moving forward to try and get a look at T’charrl. He didn’t look dead, but who knew with these aliens, “Does he have a pulse? I mean…it’s worth checking, right? He was sleeping when we found him so he was low on energy in that giant form and now he could…you know, have no energy…”

Kai gave a look back at Takeshi, not sure whether he should be concerned about their destination. The alien probably washed with water sometime so a little water probably wasn’t that bad, “Maybe he was rolling around in the trash when they found him or drooling all over himself, so probably had to wash him”, he shrugged, not all up for getting the youngest kid all worried and asking too many questions, “Maybe it was the kid you took in that did something and you’re not supposed to come see incase you flip out. Either way, we’re here. So maybe you can see for yourself”. Looking to the door, he trusted Choi and T’charrl were already in there and that he somehow managed to get ahead of them. Opening the door, he took a peek in before sighing, calling in, “Anyone in here? Brought some pals…”

Viral was just going to die if he was going to fall behind this much and nobody realised this, especially when he felt the need to go into battle everytime. He just had no way to keep up with these people, lowering his head a little in consideration to what might happen to him. Who knew when they had to fight again and if it would end up being the Saiyan forces, then he’d just have to be sitting on the sidelines watching everything happening to everyone else. Waiting for an answer from Vegeta and a possible solution to his problems, he became increasingly impatient as Vegeta took longer each time to give him a straight answer with one eventually coming out. Immediately letting out an annoyed grumble, he narrowed his gaze before snapping back, “I’m not that’s stressed, damnit! Just-…bah, whatever! Fine! If I can’t do anything by myself and that’s the best you’re going to give me, then fine…but if I fall behind then it’s on your hands, so don’t make me fall behind!”
Choi was definitely at the point where he could demand an answer to why the alien had been left alone since without Yumi he probably would had ended up killed because he wandered in there by accident. If one of the engineers or something came in they would be a goner too. It definitely made him wonder why the Saiyan empire neglected to recruit this Kaesstrian if he was capable of this much power, but of course he had no idea the origins of this guy and whether the Saiyans knew his kind were capable of doing this. Looking to Yumi, he smiled a little and sighed, “Ehhh who knows? I guess these guys could get drunk on fruit?” he asked up, gasping when he realised they were at the showers already, “Ohh man, finally! Well uhh, we should really wake up this guy first before we do that, though”. Getting the guy through the door was pretty awkward, but at least they had finally arrived and they didn’t need to put up with all this dust falling off this guy. Trying to take him to a cubicle, he moved around awkwardly with him, “Geez…this guy is so awkward…”

Kai didn’t really want to go but if it would give him a break away from this kid chasing him then he was fine with going to help. It was definitely an odd request, especially when he could have just asked Takeshi to go and help instead of him. The alien wasn’t that hard to manoeuvre so to hell what kind of reason would Choi need Yumi and him to help too, “Yeah, I know where he is”, he spoke quickly, glancing back to Takeshi, “Any reason why they might bring a giant bug to the showers?” It was a little odd to him, but maybe the situation called for it despite the obvious thing probably being sleep or food instead of water, “Well, just so you know his tone wasn’t exactly sprinkling miracles, so whatever happened requires our attention. The showers aren’t far so it’s no big deal…”

Viral was not seeing any other way to grow in skill other than to push himself, like trying to catch up in a race; however, Vegeta was stopping him at every corner and making it harder for him to progress without going through the therapy and steady training route. He was getting frustrated and there was no way for him to improve if Vegeta was constantly going to stop him from trying to accomplish his goals. Looking back on everything he had done, he had managed to get more powerful by training on his own and using his own methods; however, that didn’t seem possible anymore because he had allowed himself to get into such a state that his mind could barely support his body. Sighing in annoyance, he looked away and folded his arms, his gaze soon going to Vegeta’s hand on his shoulder. Frowning, he looked back at him with a stern look before he sighed and looked away again, “Patience…as if our enemies have time for that…then again, it’s not as if everyone else can do better than me. Hmph! What do you suggest I do for this…training to get stronger…”
Choi really had to wonder what they were going to do with the alien after all this, like what he might do when he woke up. He probably wasn’t going to be too happy about getting all wet and being surrounded by people, especially when he was like a big fluffy dusty beast right now. He hoped the guy wouldn’t freak out or nothing, but nearing the showers was definitely a good sign just incase he woke up. Looking to Yumi, he smiled nervously before letting out a sigh, “Ehhhh well, true. Maybe! I dunno about you though, but I wouldn’t want to leave a big alien alone. I’d check on him all the time! Like a drunken buddy who might roll onto his back while he sleeps”. It was pretty risky if T’charrl could still do that on the ship and they had gone on for long enough without it happening again, so there was no reason to leave him alone, “Kai is coming soon, no problem! I feel like I need a shower after this myself…”

Kai felt that he should probably hurry before his brother got anxious, but it wasn’t him he needed when helping the alien out. If he was hurt or in trouble then he would need medical attention. T’charrl was too much of a loose cannon with those powers of his and now it seemed as if he couldn’t handle being alone for one day. Looking back at Takeshi, he frowned slightly before shrugging, “I don’t know about psychic, but our telepathy is a lot more powerful because we’re twins”, he sighed, waving his hand, “Anyone with Ki can learn how to use telepathy, but we really should get moving”. He didn’t think Takeshi learning how to use telepathy was a good idea, especially when the guy might just abuse it. Looking to Takeshi, he frowned a little, “Well, considering what the guy is and what he can do, I’m practically the reinforcement when Yumi is most likely with him. The guy could be going all feral again for all I know”.

Viral wasn’t the one wanting food or to take a break so by his logic it was Vegeta who was holding him back from training some more. He was being punished for being caught by the Saiyans, it seemed, with the torture and experiments hardly being comparable to the feeling of being left behind. As if Vegeta would know what it feels like to be in his position and from the sounds of it that was a definite no, “Then what is stopping me from achieving that right now?? Only the fact I’m not training seems to be holding me back right now!” he snapped, the stress of being obsolete getting to him pretty quickly, “There are too many limiters for me here and I can’t get around them…even being on this ship is stopping me! Just…how do I do this with nobody to fight…nothing to do?”
Choi had really hoped he would be able to catch Kai when he wasn’t moving, but instead he was completely taken off guard and he had managed to accidentally hurt him. He knew what happened and he knew it was probably a bad idea to call him without any warning, but at least that was over with and he probably wasn’t going to get too much of a slap from that. Smiling a little at Yumi, he let out a sigh and shook his head, “It could had been worse…I mean, he hurt himself, but not badly”, he shrugged, pulling T’charrl up a little more, “I doubt catching them in the shower would be bad when it means you can’t see them and I would had preferred if he was in the showers since that’d save us time trying to find him. As luck would have it…of course…Takeshi and his brother is with him so you can shout at Takeshi all you like for leaving his buddy in a dark and empty room! It’s not like his brother knows any better about these things either”.

Shu had caught Kai, even if he fumbled and he was very happy over it, taking hold of the ball and bouncing away from Kai and over to Takeshi. He hoped he did good, even if it appeared that Kai had tripped up. He really gave the guy a good run around the place before then, giving Takeshi a pleasant smile as he handed over the ball, his eyes quickly going to Kai when he spoke up, “Bug? Friend T’charrl? Ooohhh, I hope he’s okay…”

Kai didn’t mind losing to Shu when it was all fun and games for the kid, but things were turning serious before they could even move onto better suited training methods. Slowly wiping his clothes down as he stood up, looking to Shu at first before to Takeshi, “Remember when I said Choi and I were connected? Our thoughts are tied through telepathy but as quickly as it takes you to think to move your hand”, he sighed, rubbing his head, “Not like we do it all the time…especially when one of us is not expecting it like that”. It was difficult to explain, but when he wasn’t expecting Choi to call in like that his mind took a complete blank and running while dodging when Choi did call in was very hazardous. Sighing a little, he walked off towards the door and gave a glance back at Takeshi, “He didn’t, but I imagine your friend is still alive if he wants help with him. Haven’t even seen the alien since boarding, honestly”.

Viral was in the worst possible situation he could be, having his mind completely taken apart by the thought of being so weak. He didn’t want to be weak, he couldn’t be weak and he couldn’t be put out of the fight because he was seen as so weak. Vegeta was not giving him a break, refusing all the time to give him what he wanted and simply threw whatever logic he had at him. Everything was not going his way and his head was just hurting too, “And you know the medicine is there for if I get worse! Then what’s the point on me existing? I’d be a disgrace to myself”, he spoke, shaking his head. Vegeta was just shutting him down at every turn, he didn’t know what he was supposed to do. He needed to get better, he wanted to be the best and if he wasn’t anywhere near the best he was not happy with living. He was getting to the point where he’d accept an honourable discharge during battle, “When everything else fails, what else is there for me? Even Ikura had no idea what to do with me”.
