Viral was a little annoyed at Takeshi’s excuses, hardly seeing them as relevant, “Tch, Vegeta also tells me I need breaks when I’m not injured so what the hell does he know. He knows he can’t limit me to concentrating on these useless transformations…” Vegeta always insinuated he wasn’t his Master anymore and having him demand he’d do something he wasn’t too keen on did made him annoyed sometimes, if only hoping for a change of pace from being constantly beaten up. Vegeta knew he had no right to stop him if he wanted to train with his blade, especially when it was just as important a part of him as the transformations themselves, “I told you I would train you and Vegeta can’t stop me from doing that! Hmph, I’d be surprised if you knew what notches and imperfections it had just from having a little bit of time…”

Figuring this time could be used to see if Takeshi was worthy, he instead challenged him to something extremely simple. In his injured state, he wouldn’t be able to use both hands and would have trouble moving so Takeshi shouldn’t have too much of a problem doing basic attacks and trying to get passed him. Staring at him awaiting an answer, he narrowed his gaze before looking down at the blade, “Good…because parrying is not difficult if you’re quick”. Slowly moving to the side, he picked up his own blade, carefully strapping the scabbard’s belt on before taking hold of Takeshi’s sword still in its own scabbard, “Will it make you feel better knowing I’m injured and can’t actually use my arm or shoulders correctly? I know how much you love hearing about it and how it gives you an advantage…” Waiting for Takeshi to come in before closing the door, he held his sword out to take, “You should think it’ll be easy with that logic…”
Psst, anybody know if Lenayayayaya is back from holidays yet?

Cause Caboose DID give me the plans of action aaaaand for reasons and stuff it would be nice to know if people are around and able to keep going.
Viral was not convinced, even if Takeshi was trying to win him over with an innocent smile. He didn’t understand the problem with giving his sword over at all, he couldn’t look passed any of his faults and why it was a bad idea to take a sword to a fight when you were untrained. If an opponent had a blade they’d want to use it and the dishonour would be great if no battle was to come of it and the warrior was simply blasted away. Takeshi couldn’t get it through to his head that if he was stabbed then he would be incapacitated and unable to get his brother or his friend back to the ship which would cause problems for all of them. Takeshi just wasn’t thinking like that and simply saw it as an inconvenience, even if he should know after being stabbed in several places by a bunch of bugs and saw the damage a sword did to him as well.

The excuse for no training was a bit of a lame one, especially when the same type of training can become stale very quickly, “You could have asked at any time…and you know that!” he growled lowly, shaking his head, “You think I want to keep doing the same thing over and over again??” His training really was going nowhere fast and the same failures were striking him continuously, even if it was important. He could have used a break from that strenuous training and yet Takeshi didn’t think to ask him for one, probably because he couldn’t be bothered. Standing his ground, he only pulled back when Takeshi made a movement and coming fairly close to hitting him if he moved forward. Looking to his fist, he raised a paw to try and slap it, “By not even asking to see it beyond wanting to show it off! Do you even remember what it looks like?”

This was just annoying now, him coming up here just to use his sword for show. If he didn’t have it he was sure he would be off with his brother and friend swinging it around like an idiot. Looking off towards the blade, he stared at it for a moment before back to Takeshi as he once again started pleading for it. Narrowing his gaze, he let out a huff and moved slightly to the side, “Howabout learning now...see if you can parry like you so claim…” he spoke lowly, pointing in casually, “If you can get passed me with it, I’ll let you have it for your fight and for ‘showing off’…I’ll even go one-handed to give you a chance”.
Viral was not convinced on Takeshi’s plight for his blade, seeing it as him using it as a toy once more. He just wasn’t going to give the sword any respect and that really angered the Beastman, especially after asking for lessons and never going for them. The sword was just used for showing off and Takeshi was too stubborn to go without it if that really was the case, obvious by the way he was trying to sweet-talk him into giving it to him. His actions really didn’t help other than managing to make him uncomfortable and a little bit anxious that he was getting a little too comfortable with being that close. Getting him to back off was the first phase, but getting him to listen was probably going to be even harder, “You say that, but what have you ever done for me? You don’t pay attention to me unless you want something”, he told him, rubbing his shoulder, “I don’t remember you ever having a casual conversation with me…”

If Takeshi was wanting the blade to show off then he wasn’t going to let him have it, especially when it could end up broken, stolen or dumped because it was of ‘no use’ to Takeshi anymore. It was a respectable blade, but Takeshi wouldn’t give it any of that despite how many people it’s possibly slain. It was in the hands of a vicious General and of course he would have used it, especially against the underground natives. Giving him a fairly solid glare, he grumbled as he shook his head when Takeshi tried to explain his simply storyline tactics, “A parry isn’t the same as blocking, but you’d know that if you ever took lessons with me”, he spoke simply, stepping back a bit, “You’ll probably dump the blade because you can’t use it…I can see it. I wouldn’t need to ask that bug anything because the look on your face says it all. If you can’t tell, I’m not convinced by your words. Just admit you’re barely interested in using it just because you’ve never seen another Saiyan use one and feel embarrassed to because it’s ‘inferior to Ki’…”
Viral didn’t know why Takeshi had decided to come to him, the only reason that came to him was Takeshi couldn’t find anyone else and he was desperate for something that was locked up. What a pain, this would cut into his relaxation time. The kid was supposed to be out all day getting these aliens to come with them and having him come back with nothing was just annoying, meaning he had failed or went out there to catch up with the locals. Glaring at him, he narrowed his gaze as he attempted to be funny about it, “You know I am very busy…” he spoke lowly, “You are disrupting that tight schedule by being here…” It was such a bother and Takeshi barely seemed phased by it and as frustrated as he was he restrained himself from shutting the door on him, the absence of the lizards being more of a nuisance than this was.

Despite his reaction, he wasn’t surprised that the aliens here were unable to fight. When he was taking them away for the Saiyans they were destined to be labourers with only a few to be soldiers, rarely did they go beyond that. Medicine and ‘some tools’ was hardly a replacement for potential staff or soldiers. With Takeshi giving his excuse, he groaned lowly upon hearing about some of the Shaharians causing problems. He didn’t see a reason for him to come here if that was the case, he could had gone off and taken care of them himself by now. If Takeshi was going to ask him to help with it then too bad, he was too tired and his arm hurt.

Viral was close to closing the door on Takeshi for wasting his time, especially when he should be going out and doing that job if he was to get anything out of these aliens, but sure enough he was actually here with reason which was to get his sword. Looking away for a minute, he sighed before looking back to Takeshi, looking pretty annoyed at him. Even after him asking for lessons and never taking any, he still wanted to use his sword for showing off. Of course he only said that to make him happy; he didn’t want lessons in reality. Moving a claw over the close button, he stiffened up when Takeshi stepped forward and wrapped an arm around his shoulders. Glaring at him, he gasped when he punched his shoulder, raising his claws up to it before giving Takeshi a push, “You only call me that when you want your own way! Since when have you talked to me other than to get something from me?” he snapped at him, trying to step back, “A weapon isn’t just for showing off…and what if you had to use it? Could you parry another blade? What if you get attacked from behind? Why should I give it if you just want to show off?”
Viral had been fair busy as of late and really pushing it, knowing he didn’t have much time before he had to face his greatest challenge yet. It was all proving very difficult and strenuous on his body, but he was willing to keep going despite feeling the pain and worn down from these training sessions. He could handle it, he knew he could, but when it came time for a rest from all of that Vegeta had been pretty stern in telling him to do so and he had no choice and could only agree to it. He didn’t want to rest or feel the need to, but he was mentally and physically strained and needed to spend some time resting. He managed to strain his arm which meant it was time to call it quits for now. With everyone either taking a break or resting, things had been quiet enough for the Beastman to try and doze off, possibly even find peace for once.

Despite trying to find a moment of peace, even before Takeshi came and knocked on his door he was finding it hard to do just that. His body was struggling to settle down even though it was obviously pretty tired because his mind was all over the place. He felt like he couldn’t find a balance between relaxing and being tired. Lying on his back in his bed, he stirred and rolled slightly before letting out a sudden gasp as Takeshi smacked his knuckles against the door, sitting up immediately. He very much almost jumped straight out of bed in a hurry if it wasn’t for his arm buckling up, his hand immediately grabbing onto it before he let out a sigh. So much for Takeshi being out, but what the hell did he want now and from him of all people to come to his room.

Slowly rubbing his face, he let out a groan and slowly getting out of bed, straightening the blanket up slowly. This was most definitely annoying and he could definitely slap Takeshi for disturbing him when he could had easily asked someone else. Growling lowly, he rubbed his sore head and opened up the door slowly, glaring at him, “What do you want? Can’t you see I’m busy?” he snapped at him, looking out at the corridor briefly, “And no lizards?”
Shu didn’t want to have to put on shoes, knowing he wasn’t as effective at moving around or walking, plus they felt weird and unnatural to him. T’charrl’s feet looked not too bad and he was barefooted, but his weren’t as soft and squishy as his own. Frowning at Takeshi, he sighed when he was told that it would be the only way to go, of course not feeling too happy with it, “I guess so…but I won’t be very good at fighting and stuff”, he sighed, looking to his feet, “I don’t want to get anything bad! It won’t hurt much, right?” He didn’t want to have to be squirming and unable to walk because his feet were still stinging, but he was prepared for trying to put up with it. He had been put through a lot in the past so pain wasn’t anything new, but he was not going to have an easy time with that. Holding up one foot for Takeshi to take, he closed his eyes and squeaked when he was gradually cleaned up, his toes straining at the pain. It was certainly a sore experience, but he still lifted up his other foot for him to clean and letting him wipe it without too much trouble.

T’charrl knew there wasn’t much that could be done about him and his problems other than maybe a full wash later on. He was just too big to be treated properly and too awkwardly shaped, knowing those little bandages wouldn’t be able to help him out as much as they’d help Shu. Frowning at the state of his wings, he looked back to Takeshi, “Yeah, if there’s no wind and sand then I should be fine, I think”, he spoke calmly, feeling slightly hopeful. If there was a moment where he wished they’d wait for a time like sunrise when it was possibly not too cold or too hot quite yet, but he knew Takeshi would probably want to go as soon as possible anyway. He didn’t know how long the planet’s day was compared to what he was used to, but he knew Takeshi would get impatient before then. Giving a little smile, he nodded at Takeshi as he confirmed their desires while hoping it wouldn’t be too much of a problem for him, “Alright, thank you…and umm, take your time. I’m not going to do anything in the meantime…”
Shu’s feet sure were stinging, even after being carried all the way. He did try to keep his feet hidden away from the sand and wind but he didn’t know if they had gotten worse simply from being off them for so long. Walking on his toes into the hanger, he looked to T’charrl when he was finally in before simply sitting on the end of his tail with his legs nearly folded together. Even his tail was sore after that sand hitting it, but its thick hair had shielded it from any damage it might have received. His feet were certainly showing a fair bit of redness now, frowning at the sight of them before he pulled back his hood. He was certainly needing a bath after this, whenever they finished that is. Brushing at his hair, he gave his head a quick shake before suddenly sneezing again, his arm nearly making it to his face this time.

He didn’t mean to sneeze, the sand was ticking his nose a lot, plus it wasn’t as if he expected to get some up his nose. They could use a break from all that sand and heat, not to mention these travelling clothes weren’t all that comfortable. He could do with something to drink and maybe even something to eat just to feel ready to take on this bad alien. Feeling as if he could do with a rest as well, he looked to Takeshi when he approached, tilting his head a little, “Boots? Ooohhh…I don’t like those”, he spoke, lowering down onto his backside, “Is this going to hurt a lot? I’m brave, but not that brave…” He wouldn’t mind just some water to stick his feet in, even if only for a little while, but then again it wasn’t as if he could really walk anywhere without hurting all over.

T’charrl wasn’t too worried about getting hurt or how he might feel; just the floor was nice and cool and would help him in the long run with keeping himself from overheating. He should probably stay there for a little while until he felt like moving again, whenever that might be. This planet was brutal and it was definitely putting him to the test, but he wouldn’t be a very good warrior if he couldn’t accept the challenge. Letting out a sigh, he looked up at Takeshi when he gave him an odd look in return. He didn’t know what he was supposed to do about his problems other than suck it up, proving to be too awkward a being to help. Slowly pushing off the floor, he let out a sigh as he pulled off the make-shift sheet, “I’ll be fine, eventually. Just…let’s not go out in a storm like that again or I might not have skin left”. His fur hadn’t managed to protect his skin from the sand and winds and as a result his skin had been well battered, his main problem being his fur was shielding a lot of the damage. He didn’t care much for pain, he had received a lot worst like when he was tortured, but the damage to his wings had him a little sad. Pulling one around showed it had been practically shredded at the end as if he had been battered around by big paws, “I-I’ll be fine, eventually. I’ll heal…but it’ll be handy if the other city isn’t stormy. I could really use a good sugary drink…”
T’charrl frowned, slowly shaking his head as he pulled down his hood, “They couldn’t manage the energy, so I took it. I couldn’t let it land, otherwise the city would have been left in ruins”, he spoke lowly, “Couldn’t risk it connecting with the planet, otherwise all the energy veins in the surrounding area would overload and explode. You have to be gentle with a planet’s energy or you just cause it harm”. It was all probably going straight over Takeshi’s head, but he still didn’t feel as if it was a victory as such. If that happened again he didn’t know if he could handle it, but maybe this time he would be able to protect the energy elsewhere. He needed to be wise with the energy and couldn’t throw it around recklessly like Takeshi might. Staring at Takeshi, he smiled nervously before letting out a sigh, shaking his head, “I wouldn’t know what you are. Is strength really a matter of brawn? Is it skill? Are you a skilled warrior?”

T’charrl wasn’t too sure about these tactics Takeshi was coming up with, wondering whether it really was unwise for him to go in with them and instead wait in the little ship. If it required them being sneaky then he had no idea how he too would pull it off when he looked more like a pet compared to them. The biggest worry would be the aliens recognising them as the rebels they actually were and completely mobbing them, possibly taking them down like the soldiers on his world did. He didn’t know if these people used poison too, but if they did then they would be in trouble. Frowning at the possibility, he looked to Takeshi, “And you’re absolutely sure you’ll be fine if they use those weapons against you? Maybe you should bring your sword with you”, he suggested, pulling the sheet down a little, “Unless you’re, uhh…not very good at using it yet…then it’s okay. I won’t judge…”

Seeing the ship up ahead was definitely what was needed, the door being the most welcoming sight of them all. He was relieved that he would finally get out of the heat and sand and into shelter. Letting out a sigh, he pulled back his hood a bit as Takeshi put Shu down and tended to the door. While a very interesting planet, it was not going to be one of T’charrl’s ‘must visit again soon’, at least not until he knew when the calmer seasons were around. Feeling anxious about staying outside for too long, the moment the doors opened he let out a relieved sigh, walking in behind a stumbling Shu. That moment was what he was waiting for, finally managing to relax, “That’s so much better…” he sighed, slowly lying down on the floor, “I feel like I’m burning all over…”
T’charrl gave a little smile at Takeshi, soon letting out a sigh, “I nearly died facing the General…and probably would had without certain things happening”, he spoke, shaking his head. If he didn’t change then he would had died, but he didn’t really think it was a good idea either concerning the fact that he was in fact a monster now. It wasn’t as if his people possessed these abilities anymore, so it was not in his best interest to change into this thing. Looking back to Takeshi, he adjusted his sheet a little before shaking his head, “I look like a cave painting from back home”, he spoke, staring down at himself for a moment before back to Takeshi, “Maybe I will be, I mean…the planet’s awfully big and if there are others on my planet who are as strong as me then I would like to meet them. Strength comes from wisdom too, you know. Mother always told me I had to be wise to be a good leader”.

T’charrl didn’t know what he was supposed to feel or whether he was supposed to go ahead with this battle, but he really did want to help even if it was not good for him to be out in this heat. If he could get a break from the heat and sand for just a little bit before going then maybe he would be okay. He was definitely worried and not even for himself, but for his friends who would have to put up with him. He did hope that the ship wasn’t too far now too, the sand was beginning to hurt now, but he was confident he could last long enough until the end of the day. If the plan worked then everything should run along nice and quick and the heat shouldn’t be too much of a problem, especially if they managed to get inside. Frowning a little, he looked down at himself, “I’d never fit into a costume, anyway”, he sighed, shaking his head, “I miss wearing clothes…hmmm. I think best to see what we’re up against is the way to go about it. If anything goes wrong you’ll have an answer, right?”
