Viral was sure he shouldn’t be with them, he should had been left a long time ago to make room for those who could succeed. There was just no honour in lasting this long through failure and to look like this meant he was disgracing himself by being in the presence of others. He looked and felt like a clown; trying to fight one battle with an honourable being and this happens to him, his opportunity squandered and disgraced. Groaning lowly at Vegeta’s suggestions he slowly shook his head, finding them completely unamusing and unable to pick him up from this hard time. He was just being told the same thing over and over again, just a different subject being placed on top of it all, “Hmph, that Narbu nearly beat me in less than ten minutes; you know I transform into that…thing when my life is in danger”, he spoke up, slowly rubbing his chest, “Takeshi never wanted to train with his sword in the first place. It was only because I bribed him that he eventually gave in. The battle strategy…you just need a brain for that…tch, all you idiots were too busy talking amongst yourselves to bother thinking one up…”

T’charrl felt he should be okay having food, especially when he was feeling the hunger now. It wasn’t very pleasant to get sparks of low blood sugar when his body relied on sugar greatly for nutrition. He didn’t mean to skip out on it so much, but he was better off keeping that to himself instead of just embarrassing himself further with weak excuses for not going to get something to eat. Feeling satisfied that it was going to be an alright time, T’charrl exited his room but looked to Takeshi at his plan, frowning a little, “Everyone? Oh…this is going to be hard…” he spoke, feeling a little discouraged, “That’s a lot of people and I can’t fit at the table very well…are they going to be okay with me sitting on the floor? Isn’t that rude? They’ll just stare at me….”

Shu wasn’t feeling very happy, even after they retrieved T’charrl. His friend being all nervous and all was making him feel nervous in return, his confidence to be able to do this sucking well dry; however, knowing the others would be there was a little bit better since it meant he wouldn’t need to sit near Haku after all. Haku was just a bully, picking on him because he was different. It wasn’t his fault he grew up in a different environment to everyone else and nor was it his for looking different too. Feeling a little moody, Shu didn’t realise Takeshi was talking to him until the prolonged silence reminded him he was being addressed, “Huh? I don’t know…a bit in the bag? I don’t know; I can’t count to remember how much…”
There went Vegeta again with the whole helping business once more, wondering why he didn’t just give up and send him someplace else after all of these failures. Any other person in command would do the same to a failing soldier and he was no different or should be considered special; if he failed then that was it, he shouldn’t be given so many second chances. It made him feel like a broken toy constantly being fixed until it was covered in bandages and dents, eventually being left to the side when no more use could come out of it. To have a life like his was probably torture to anyone else, to be constantly made a mockery of and then tested on to see why he was failing. Grumbling when Vegeta only denied the possibility of more experiments he casually scratched his ear with a claw, “You’re only saying that because you know you’ll fail”, he mumbled, letting Vegeta do whatever he needed to do with his blood. He didn’t know what he might find in it, it wasn’t like he was a scientist but something told him there wouldn’t be all that much in there. Looking back when Vegeta when he presented him with a question he stared him down, narrowing his gaze before averting it again, “I’ve failed more times than I can recall a victory. I’ve gone from one of the strongest to the weakest warrior here and I am not getting better. What has been done that’s been a clean success? And don’t say ‘living’ or something stupid like that…”

T’charrl was a little nervous to have someone at the door, even if it was Takeshi probably because of what happened the last time they were together. It was so bad just how much he was screwing up being around others and he was certainly a little scared that Takeshi was going to question him about it all. Staring up at him with a frown before realising food was on the menu, “Uhh, I-umm…food…” He was awfully hungry and hadn’t eaten much at all lately, but that was on the account of him either not knowing how to make food, being too self-conscious being around the others or too distracted by everything else he had to deal with. Finding the prospect of food too appealing to put down, slowly he managed to push himself up and onto his knuckles on his large claws, “Y-Yes, thank you. Uhh…” he paused, reaching over and grabbing his scouter, gently putting it on; while he was getting better at speaking he still felt self-conscious about how he sounded normally too, “I’m ready. I’ve missed out on too many meals…”

Viral simply watched and observed as Vegeta got his needle ready and got all he needed to take these tests, his anticipation of it not exactly very high. He didn’t like getting poked and prodded with various things all the time and recently it was definitely happening a lot more often than he would had liked. If he hadn’t been in the labs so often then he wouldn’t be so willing to let his blood be taken for the good of his health, but instead he was pretty well established within and there was no true end to it all while he was still living. Feeling a little fed up, he held out his arm in an awfully submissive fashion and allowed Vegeta to take his blood. Withdrawing it as soon as Vegeta was done patching him up he stared down at the bandage and let out a sigh, “I could barely feel that…” It was a little depressing being unable to feel a simple little prick over what he was feeling now. Looking to Vegeta, Viral frowned and slowly rubbed at his arm, “I don’t believe in hope. There’s either a solution or there’s not and if there’s not…might as well dump me somewhere and call it an ending. You’ll be able to make a new one, one that works and will be more obedient…maybe one to help you more than just be a subject to you”.

T’charrl had been fairly quiet in his room, sitting on his bed by himself with his feet up on it. Despite his size he wasn’t too heavy for his bed, otherwise he would have an awfully difficult time flying. It was awfully lonely in his room but he was told to stay here for now until things had been solved after Vegeta was called out. He felt like he had been waiting for a long time, but he was safer in his room than wandering around on his own and possibly being a danger to someone or himself. He was extensively paranoid over what he had become and what he was going to be so it seemed fit to be in his room during his lonelier times. Pulling at stray hares that had long come out themselves, T’charrl gasped when the door was knocked upon by Takeshi no less. Stumbling off his bed he managed to catch himself, crawling over to the door and opening it up slightly, seeing Takeshi with Shu and strangely enough Haku, “…Uhh…h-hello…why are people here…?”
Viral didn’t know how it might help him, especially when the planet was foreign energy and he couldn’t exactly stay there if it managed to do something positive while everything else didn’t work. It wasn’t going to be a long term solution and even if it did take the bug back to his other bug friends he still wished it was long after they had done everything they needed to do. It was just one pain after the other with him and the number of times he had held up everyone else was getting beyond overwhelming to carry on his shoulders. Nobody was getting to do what they wanted to do at any time, except maybe the Princes where they would get to go back and see their pals again. Watching Vegeta move off to get the equipment ready, he sighed and let Vegeta take his arm as he looked away, leaning his head on his other paw, “And if it’s sudden? Sometimes my transformations are able to be immediate and I doubt you’d have time to pull that out of your pocket and throw it on me before I swipe your face off”, he spoke, just expressing concerns, “I don’t know what’s happening to me. I don’t know how much worse it may get…so you better have some RRA weapons on your side…”

Shu wasn’t sure he was going to be able to last that long at the dinner table nevermind just now, knowing he was all worked up and he didn’t know how to get back down again. He was scared of himself and of others who were able to manipulate his emotions like that, but he didn’t think anybody would be able to understand. Lowering his head when Takeshi told him things were going to be okay before to Haku, frowning at his words. He wasn’t sensitive, just different. Squeaking a little he looked away, not sure if he would be able to keep to Takeshi’s words. He was reassured it was all going to be okay but already it was falling apart and he was unable to keep up with it all, feeling all overwhelmed by it all, “I’ll try…since you want to be nice…” he muttered, looking up a little, “I just want my friend…”
Viral didn’t see the logic in it at all, his mind not able to come to a conclusion to how that might help his affliction. When he was on the planet he did manage to recover a little bit, but how that might affect how he currently appeared didn’t compute with him. He was more concerned with the fact he was not currently himself, how he was several different forms rolled into one. He was more concerned with lashing out at someone he knew because he couldn’t control himself, not how well his energy was currently flowing. Staring down at his paws as Vegeta tried to explain what he meant, he slowly rubbed them together before slowly stroking the fur on the back of his paw. It was humiliating to be like this, to be not one thing or the other with his biggest worry being if it advanced anymore. Keeping his head low he slowly looked up to Vegeta again, narrowing his eyes before looking down again, “I’m not weak. I can stand for having a little bit of blood taken from me”, he spoke, almost as if he was insulted by that, “The only thing I’m recovering from is the energy you took from me…I am fine…”

Shu didn’t see how he was selfish or how he was only liked because of certain aspects of him, especially when he didn’t know how he was selfish just from doing what he usually did. He was just acting normally and the fact that was somehow selfish made him a little upset. He didn’t want to be selfish, but he didn’t know how to not be selfish if it meant acting like he didn’t usually do. All of this was confusing him and was making him feel all flustered. Hissing at Haku, Shu moved to the side and threw his arms up again, “I am not a baby! I’m not selfish!” he squeaked angrily, still trying not to get mad but it wasn’t working very well while all it managed to do was make him flustered and scared. He wanted Takeshi to protect him, but he knew he would be considered selfish if he did ask for it, “I do give…I do! You don’t know me…”

Getting all flustered and upset, the first thing Shu felt like doing was going to his room so he could be alone instead. Stamping in frustration Shu turned around looking ready to leave until Takeshi grabbed hold of him, taking him along with Haku. Letting out a squeak he stumbled, looking up to Takeshi with a frown he squeaked a little with each footstep, “I said this was bad…I said!” Shu didn’t think T’charrl was going to have a very good time either, especially his history with Haku. The guy was mean and not the easiest to speak to, but if Takeshi was wanting to make friends with him then there wasn’t much he could do to stop him.
Viral didn’t see the appeal in going back to that hidden planet again, especially when he was supposed to be finding treatment and Namek. He didn’t see the point in backtracking just now but it wasn’t as if he had any influence on where they were going to travel, especially in his condition. Despite what he needed and what they had to do, it seemed they were going to go backwards now. Frowning at Vegeta’s reasoning behind him he looked to the door, just feeling like he should leave just now if it was going to turn into the waiting game to get to Kaesstra, “Then why am I still here? If we must start in Kaesstra…why should I need further tests?” he questioned him, looking back to Vegeta, “And how long will it take for us to get to that bug-filled world…”

Shu was getting pretty annoyed at Haku all trying to be the better and stronger guy in the end of their chat, purposely targeting him because he was odd looking, he bet. He didn’t say or do anything and Haku was already on his case and trying to look like the better guy in their little fight. Shu didn’t want to get angry since he knew what would happen, but what Haku was saying to him was certainly winding him up. Letting out a snort when Haku only managed to insult, he bounced on his toes a little before his eyes went up to Takeshi who tried once more to speak to the guy and get him to come along for dinner. Looking between the pair Shu frowned, moving closer to Takeshi as if for further protection.

Shu really didn’t like this guy; he was really mean to him and it hurt his feelings, making him angry as a result. He didn’t want to be angry, but Haku was purposely trying to make him mad so he’d get in trouble. Staring at Haku, Shu backed off a little when attention was once again given to him, his eyes staring up at him as he frowned, backing off a little, “I-I am not selfish! I’m not…” he squeaked, feeling a little hurt by that, “You hurt my friend and made me mad! I don’t want to be mad, but you’re trying again! Takeshi is trying to be nice and you’re being mean to me!” He didn’t think like that at all, but Haku certainly believed it and it wasn’t the first time he heard that before. He didn’t like being thought of like that and it only proved to make him paranoid and a little upset, “Takeshi doesn’t think that! Right?”
Viral couldn’t really think of who might want to attack both the Saiyans and the rebels, nevermind being able to overwhelm them and destroy some of their ships. There wasn’t anyone that he knew of who was against both the Saiyans and the rebel’s ideology, but maybe there was somebody out there and they were simply waiting for their squads to get in close together. He couldn’t think to who it might be right now; his head was sore and he needed to gain some sense of his surroundings before he could even try to think of suitable battle tactics. To rush in after the King seemed like a pretty good idea right now and one he could think of even when he was in pain, but he was definitely able to see that as a suitable method of attack.

Looking to Yumi when she asked him about his condition, frowning Viral looked down at himself as if trying to suss out the situation himself. He looked like a mess, his body unable to decide between forms which was causing considerable pain at the odd times. He didn’t know how to answer her question and eventually she was cut off by Vegeta. Sighing a little, he looked away a moment before his eyes moved back to Vegeta, a frown appearing on his face, “I don’t know why you’re asking me. I can’t remember the fool’s face right now”, he spoke, rubbing his head slowly before feeling out his horns, not too happy about them either, “Probably because my brain’s melted to form these…” He didn’t know what he was supposed to do if they were heading to Kaesstra running with the risk that he wasn’t going to get cured of his strange ailment before then, knowing he would look more monstrous to the citizens there than before, “Why are we going to that world so soon, anyway…”

Shu did try to keep confident and did hope Takeshi was right, at least for the sake of his ability to socialise. He wasn’t able to think through his fear very well so he was relying on Takeshi to keep things cool, watching as he went up to the door only for it to open before he managed to touch it. Squeaking a little, he backed off slightly and watched Takeshi and Haku talk together, frowning when Haku turned down his offer pretty quickly. That was awfully rude of him, especially when they spent so long worrying and wondering if everything was going to be okay. Frowning, he watched Haku try to skip out on the meal with Takeshi stopping the door and forcing it open again. Watching him, Shu squeaked a little when Haku instead tried to look like the bigger man. Looking at him up and down, Shu quickly let out a huff and raised his arms into the air, holding them above his head, “I’m not afraid of you! Takeshi making food and you’re being rude! Shu is never rude to brother or anyone being nice!”
Viral didn’t know the exact cause of pain whether it was the device or his own energy, but he really didn’t like it and could only hope it would actually end when the device was done with whatever it was doing. Maybe it was his energy, especially after what happened earlier when his abilities went out of control. He wanted it off him either way and as his hand reached out to try and take it he stopped himself, the foreseeable future not looking too bright if he tried. Placing his hand down again he looked away, waiting for it to be finished before finally looking back to Vegeta. He could certainly feel his energy once more, but there was definitely some discomfort left over and his head not quite feeling all there. Slowly trying to sit up he managed to get up at least, but as he did he had to hold his head, a groan sounding from him as he tried to think through the dizziness to answer Vegeta’s question. Finding it difficult to focus he soon looked to Vegeta as he lowered his claws, “I…guess. I just…need a moment…”

Shu did hope he was going to be able to withstand this little meal of theirs, at least long enough so that he wouldn’t be considered rude or insensitive. Finding it difficult to get on with somebody wasn’t something he was normally concerned with but this was a completely different circumstance. For Takeshi he was going to try and be brave, but he was still going to have some form of nervousness towards Haku. Rubbing his chest he looked down for a moment, his eyes soon going up again to Takeshi as he tilted his head, “Ooh? I guess…” he spoke, scratching himself quickly, “I guess I’m afraid of looking stupid or failing…maybe. I wish I was a lot braver sometimes, but…umm, I-I’ll try here. I really want to eat and sleep soon…” They had a lot to do and he knew that, but he didn’t want Takeshi to get distracted because of him and forget everything. His problems were trivial and something he could fix later, but now wasn’t the time. Who knew who was listening into their conversation, just managing to make him feel paranoid that it all might be used against him later like Haku actually managing to hear their conversation.

Finding it difficult to concentrate, Viral tried to bring his mind together as his energy spread around his body, his muscles becoming energised once more as he regained control over them. It was a pretty nasty feeling to gain that much energy over a short period of time, at least when it was artificially given to him. Keeping his head low as he tried to recover, slowly he looked up when Yumi’s voiced suddenly sounded out. Feeling confused he looked towards her image, not exactly sure what she was talking about as his mind tried to recover. Something about the Saiyans and rebels being attacked didn’t quite register with him at first but when he realised what she was saying as the energy’s poor processing made him a little slow, “What…? The fool. Why not attack when they’re distracted??”
Viral wasn’t having any of it; sure, it was easy for Vegeta to make all these silly jokes, but when he was lying around like this in pain and unable to move it wasn’t going to be funny to him. He didn’t like feeling like this and that was all there was to it, his hope to be feeling normal fading with each second he was like this. His biggest fear was he may never be able to return to his normal form and he would be stuck as a freak forever; not that he already wasn’t a freak to many, of course. He probably looked like a disaster right now and he couldn’t help but feel terrible about it. If Vegeta was to ever become the type of person to experiment then this was definitely going to be full of experiments whether painful and necessary or if he was going to be unconscious for the majority of the time. To abandon a failed experiment wasn’t uncommon, especially when there were other things to be concerned about and trying to improve what was already broken. To hear Vegeta deny he’d abandon him made him feel concerned that he was holding Vegeta back, the very knowing he was not able to function correctly himself because he was so broken made him feel pretty guilty, “And you better not put anything off either because of me…”, he spoke lowly, “If you dare I’ll just walk out…whether I have the energy or not! I’m not having you become unhealthy because of me…”

While he was annoyed at Vegeta he still wanted this over and done with and Vegeta was the only one who could help him with this. He wasn’t sure whether he could stay angry at him at this point, but he sure was getting fed up with his jokes. Growling lowly at his reasoning he let out a huff, looking elsewhere when everything was just causing him to feel fed up, “Hmph yeah…and yet you never cared to say anything…”Finding it all to be one disappoint after the other, he sighed when Vegeta finally decided to give the device a try and see if it would do as it was told and actually not blow up. Despite Vegeta’s reassurances there was a little bit of worry still when Vegeta approached the device, gasping when the cords finally decided to release him and give him some sort of relief. Bracing for possible pain from the process of energy transfer, the process soon started and the feeling of his energy moving from the device into him was rather uncomfortable, a feeling he was sure he had felt before. Not finding it to his liking he slowly managed to reach his claws up towards it but did manage to stop himself from yanking it right off, “I-It feels like sticking a big needle in my chest…”

While Shu did want to find some way to make it all better there was still the problem that he didn’t want to get in anybody’s way and having somebody’s time taken up like this was not what he wanted. Feeling pretty sad that he didn’t have bananas still Shu let out a sigh, lowering his head a little and swaying as he walked, “I just thought that maybe…okay…” Letting out a sigh, Shu continued onward just thinking of bananas and the future, feeling as if he might end up getting that confused between the two if he thought too much about it, “I’ll get to do that? Oooh, I might feel sad for doing that. I don’t like forcing people to say things”. He still couldn’t help but feel guilty that he had allowed his own worries to get in the way of everything else, especially when it was not a big deal in the first place when compared to everything else they had to worry about. If he didn’t fight then he had no reason to get mad, but if he didn’t fight then he would be wasting everyone’s time by being there, “I can hang in there! I have a tail for hanging in there! I can wait, I swear!”

If it wasn’t his transformation that was worrying him it was everything else that came closer to making him angry that worried him. He didn’t know if Haku would be nice to him or look at him strangely too much, but either way he was going to be nervous and be unable to concentrate on anything else. Keeping his head low he nodded a little, trying to find comfort in his reassurances, “I can sit a little away instead! I-I don’t mind…” He was just being a pain at this point and he knew it, there was no point trying to hide it. Finding it uncomfortable to be thinking about this stuff, Shu scratched his chest before Takeshi decided to stop him in his tracks and press his head against his own. Frowning as he was forced to stare at Takeshi’s eyes, he listened to him closely before backing off when he did, his hand going to his chest when he was poked. Giving his chest a scratch he looked back up at Takeshi, giving a little nod, “I-I’ll try! I’ll try”, he squeaked, looking away a little, “I don’t mean to be a coward, I’m just…not used to fighting such dangerous people, I guess. I always fought for fun, but now I’m fighting for my life a-and it’s just hard, I guess. You’re used to it, though. Even when Father had me I don’t remember fighting…”
