“You called it simple! Nobody ever does it…nobody at all…” She certainly knew how to annoy him when it wasn’t on purpose, throwing out comments that made him sound like something to be treasured because he was so outdated. It wasn’t his fault that he couldn’t fly around or use Ki. Finding her attacks to be sore enough he decided to throw out his own for the time being, trying to get her to back off. He could easily say he wasn’t worried with fighting like this, finding it to be something he did need to do to loosen up despite the precautions. Throwing out his fists in retaliation to her own attacks he quickly tried to throw down heavy attacks to get her to submit, trying hard to overpower her despite his state. Even using his fists was pretty painful, but he was able to withstand it and was confident he didn’t need to be bothered by it. Managing to put her on edge he grunted at her encouragement, not particularly interested in it, “I’m not some child…” he mumbled before going in for some more attacks, just trying to keep up the pressure.

Shu would like to do a bunch of things with Takeshi, feeling as if they rarely did go and do things by themselves well away from others. He didn’t like the fact that every planet he went to he didn’t get to stay for long and was instead taken away to fight or recruit before leaving hastily. It made him a little sad and even though space was exciting he missed having his feet on the ground. He felt tired and restless always flying around like that, his feet sore from the metal floor. He was alright sitting around and eating just now, but thinking about being on land made him wonder if this was going to be their life. He couldn’t be the only one missing being on a real planet. Eating his food in quiet contemplation as Takeshi sorted out their plans his eyes went back to Takeshi when he finally came to a decision, staring at him as he tried to figure that all out, “And…nap too?” he asked up, feeling a little concerned, “All that make me tired, it would. This place makes me tired a lot. Don’t know when the moon is out…”
Viral was not happy that Yumi was telling him this, as if he didn't feel simple enough already now his way of fighting was being more of a relic than anything else. He wanted to be treated as a respectful fighter, not just someone who could be fought against for fun, "The only one...the last one!" he spoke, feeling particularly angry at that even with the pills. To be told he was the only one to have this particular fight style made him feel outdated, but maybe that was just going to be his fate even if he did get better. He was doomed to be stuck in the past and unable to compete against all these Ki users and if that was how it had to be then he was going to have to accept it. He didn't want to be used as some sort of toy to play around when someone was bored of fighting. Throwing in a few punches himself he managed to get Yumi making desperate blocks to stop his attacks, watching her before having to block some of hers. He didn't manage that very well with each block having a little less strength behind it as if he used up what he could with those punches. Growling a little he tried to retaliate after her punches, lunging his fists forward carelessly as he tried to push her back.

Shu was pretty embarrassed that he knew so little, knowing the others would see him as stupid just because he didn't know most of the things they all knew. He didn't mean to have this sort of understanding of the world because of his background, but of course Takeshi's friends wouldn't understand that aspect. Hoping that one of his clan wasn't in the zoo he let out a sigh, looking elsewhere, "That would be good. Wouldn't want them not with family..." he muttered, giving his head a quick shake, "Even if they not want to be my family". He wasn't upset by that too much since he had received that treatment throughout growing up typically because he was hairless and weird looking, but he didn't hold any grudges against them when he understood hierarchy. Feeling confused over what their plans were supposed to be after food he stared at his brother, frowning a little at his indecisiveness, "I would like to play...but learning is needed too. I want to feel happy again so that come first, yes?"
Viral thought if he could concentrate on this everything should be fine, his mind already tired so there was no danger of anything erratic happening. He was the complete opposite of fired up, just trying to hit her and block whatever came his way. He had little faith in his ability to do anything complicated and even Yumi was being calm and collected just to keep the pace and not completely destroy him. Watching her movements he looked to her again at her delight of fighting like this again, "...You miss doing what everyone else can do..." he muttered, "Nothing was stopping you from fighting like this with someone else..." It made him feel a little inadequate to hear that from her, his style of fighting being treated as a relic and something done for fun. With everyone else flying around and blowing things up then he was completely outdated on the battlefield. Guarding himself from her hits he soon threw his arms out once more, trying to get her to back off with some heavy punches.

Shu had no idea what Takeshi was talking about but he probably knew and wasn't making up such an animal, but who really knew whether he'd ever be able to see such an animal when it came down to it. He felt he had been away from Earth for a very long time and it did manage to upset him a little that he was nowhere near home, even if space was exciting. Being out in space all the time made him feel tired and not as happy as he could had been on Earth. Finding it difficult to understand what a zoo meant he tilted his head at its explanation, finding it odd that people would want to do such a thing with animals, "Really? That's weird..." he spoke, lowering his head for a second as he played with his food, "Would they have people from my clan there?" He certainly had a lot to learn about the world, but he was also concerned that he was just annoying the others by sounding so stupid. Nibbling at his food he frowned a little at Takeshi's suggestion, "There's so much to do and everything changing! First one then another, then another...ooh, what is best? No play for reading?"
Viral had to remember he was a proud and strong warrior, not some monster there to cause harm. He didn't want to have to pull Yumi up to the wards in his condition if he accidentally hurt her, but of course she was going to try and avoid that too. He was still dangerous in his unstable state, but not all that much when he could barely stand. Keeping his fists up he tried to concentrate on Yumi, not having him go first just incase he fell over before he got to her. Despite there being a danger with his horns he kept his head lowered, trying to use them defensively while the weight still dragged his head down anyway. Staring at Yumi he kept his focus on her, his feet moving slightly to try and keep up before she moved straight in. Lifting up his arm he managed to stop her attack without falling over, his eyes going down to it before he soon started striking out as well, moving his arms to block an attack every so often. He seemed to be managing if only as an automatic response, his mind still able to acknowledge he was fighting despite his state.

Shu was pretty confused and curious, but it was pretty often that he would be confused by Takeshi when he wasn't particularly happy. Staring at Takeshi for a moment he soon looked to the sausages, picking them up himself and staring at them before looking to Takeshi again, "An animal? I wouldn't want to have squishy big teeth", he spoke, looking back to his sausages and deciding to eat them instead of the bun for now. They were pretty tasty and he was fair okay with getting his hands greasy, especially when he could lick them afterwards. The sounds of going to a zoo seemed awfully strange to him, especially when he didn't know what that was, "A zoo? What's that? I want to learn things...I do. I want to understand. Didn't get to learn how to read, got to learn how to be good too. Got to learn a lot of things...how do I do that?"
Viral was sure he would be able to stay up and fight if he was inspired to, especially when he was currently only struggling to stand because he wasn't able to concentrate on doing so when he had other things going on in his mind. He felt numb, but he was sure he would be able to fight just as well if he concentrated on doing so. If he could believe he was able to fight then he should be able to, but he just had to concentrate on not going overboard at the same time. He needed to concentrate and not let what happened before happen again. When Yumi moved away from him he wobbled a bit, his tail trying to keep balance as he held his head, "I'm okay...I'm fine! Just...fight me without taking pity on me..." he mumbled, moving his fists into a defensive position, "Just get me fighting! I'll eventually get it..."

Shu wasn't so much upset at being unable to receive a punishment as he was confused for being let off so easily, making him feel a little worried that he might end up losing friends because he was being punished so lightly. Picking up his food and staring at a bun he soon looked to Takeshi, frowning a little before his eyes went over to Kai who looked pretty annoyed still and not exactly talkative. Looking down at his food again he frowned, eventually nibbling at his bun to test to see what it was. He hadn't tried something like this before and it smelled tingly, curious to what was inside before squeaking as Takeshi poked him. Turning towards Takeshi he was greeted with a strange sight, Takeshi appearing to be claiming he was something with the sausages acting as stage items to support his claim, "Ooh? Walrus? What's that? How did you become one...?" he questioned him, finding it odd that he would say such a thing.
Viral needed a moment to recover from going into that room, feeling pretty overwhelmed as his mind was forced into a sense of hugeness upon seeing the room. It was a little difficult to comprehend at this point, he was feeling very small but that had to be the medicine playing with him. Slowly rubbing his head he tried to recover, letting out a sigh , "I'll be fine, just...I need a minute..." Trying to think through the feeling of dread he gave his forehead a rub, letting out a sigh as he finally relieved his mind, "I am fine...I'm still going to do it! I didn't come all this way just to...give up. If we're sparring then I'm going to do it..."

Shu couldn't help but feel a little uspet by what had happened and all the teasing he was receiving told him he had been bad, but Takeshi was letting him off easy. He didn't think it was a good thing that he was being let off for biting somebody's tail, but with food arriving he tried to take his mind off it. Letting out a sigh he squeaked a little when the plate was thumped down on the table, his eyes on the curious food in front of him. He should be happy about seeing food but he was feeling pretty unsure about what he was allowed, especially considering he had misbehaved. He'd normally be excluded from eating time in the past when he was bad so it was always weird when that didn't happen. Looking to Takeshi he frowned a little, "I don't know why I'm not being punished", he spoke, taking the portions offered to him, "I feel confused...and hungry..."

Choi was pretty happy to finally sit down and eat, sitting down beside Takeshi while Kai sat on the opposite side with Kabocha. While Kai was quick to start on the curry buns it was Choi who was busy trying to load himself up with plenty of sausage with bacon. He was pretty hungry while Kai was eating more for his own pleasure, not particularly hungry. Choi was probably a lot happier than Kai right now and it was obvious as to why he was, but it wasn't going to stop him from sitting at the same table. It was the principle of the matter, but he was more bugged at himself for not being able to stop the kid from doing it. Choi was just happy to be eating finally, especially when he had to hover over the cooker watching it sizzle away as he stared at it all with anticipation.
Viral had little regards to his own health and was well prepared to train if he wasn't feeling so dazed and slow, if by himself at least. It was tougher to train with someone because of his problem and right now he didn't feel the need to, but it was hard to deny Yumi some if she wanted desperately to. He didn't know why she really wanted to train with him at this particular time of his existence, not unless she didn't think he'd last long enough to be able to train again with her. It had been long enough since they trained, but to go now he wasn't sure why she would feel the need to do it where it required them to be sneaky. As she opened up the training hall he felt a sense of dread immediately, possibly because the pills were making everything so much larger and emptier than it was. Trying to readjust his mind he rubbed his head, looking to Yumi, "The room has already defeated me..."

Shu didn't want to get all mad over this, but it was hard not to when the guy was poking fun at him so much. The twins would probably do so too and even make fun of Kai, making him feel a little saddened by that. He caused a lot of trouble and would probably be better off going to his room if he had caused so much bother, feeling that would probably be best for them and not to be seen as an extra to their little get together. Frowning as he pulled at his fingers he didn't think Takeshi was right to give him a break for what he did, feeling it was unfair on the others for him to get off with what he did. Letting out a groan he soon moved to pulling at his hair, stroking his fingers through it, "But I, umm..." he mumbled, trying to think through the part of him being bad before they all decided to take a seat, Takeshi offering him one right beside him. Staring at him for a moment he frowned, slowly wandering over to the chair and climbing onto it, "Okay...I'll be good. I'll be good..."

Considering the food they had to make, Kai and Choi didn't have to slave over the cooker for terribly long before their food was all done. Choi walking out first it seemed they just cooked a pile of sausages and bacon, some of the sausages wrapped in said bacon too. While it was a fair pile of them it didn't seem like it was enough to spend that much time cooking, but when Kai emerged there appeared to be even more to the meal. He had a plate of handmade curry buns in one hand and a cheese and meat platter in the other for a little more variety. It was as if they got the idea to go with snacks for a meal, even if the sausages appeared to be handmade too, "Take your pick", Kai sighed, sitting down after placing the plates beside the sausages, "Couldn't be bothered making something spectacular considering it's just us".
Viral was fairly concerned already with elements concerning scratching and biting when he was in this condition and certainly wouldn't be doing it to any opponent he might come across until he was fixed up, if he ever got fixed up. "If I don't catch you then whatever. It's not like we're going all out..." She sounded as if she was expecting a lot out of him but that would hardly be the case, especially when he struggled to move half of the time. He would be taking some breaks here and there if only to clear his head, but he wasn't sure whether Yumi would take advantage of that or let him take a quick break before going in again. "Yeah that's fine...I can handle that. I need to see if I can fight, first...hmph, when I took these I didn't expect you to want me to do this..."

Shu didn't mean to bite Kai or do anything to him that violated his honour during the training session, but it didn't seem likely that any of them were going to let him off easy for it. He wanted to be forgiven and be able to get on with it, but the after effects were always going to be there until they got on with their lives. Getting all worked up again he was quick to stand up for himself, trying to remain fairly brave about it until Kabocha decided to laugh at him for it. Despite Takeshi giving him a good slap upside the head Shu didn't feel any better about it. Squeaking a little in his hands he shifted his feet when Takeshi poked him and asked him about their playtime, Shu instead removing his hands from his face and stomped around on the spot, trying to intimidate Kabocha before he stopped abruptly and moved a little around Takeshi, "...M-Maybe I should go to my room instead and sleep. I've been bad; I don't deserve playtime for being bad to your friend..."
Viral didn't want to put Yumi in too much danger, but all of this worrying wasn't really helping all that much. He was in quite a degree of pain already with some of it numbed only by the medicine he took, so it wasn't as if he'd be able to do a great deal of anything complicated during their sparring session. He just needed Yumi's trust, but even then he did kind of want Yumi to be put off the idea. It was probably the idea of disobeying Vegeta that was putting him off more than the actual hurting of Yumi, especially when Yumi could easily recover from it with the use of the pods on the ship. "I wouldn't do anything else. I don't plan on scratching or biting...what do you take me for? I am no cheat...nor do I want to cut flesh..."

Shu was best staying out of Takeshi and Kabocha's friendship considering they went pretty far back compared to when he knew them. His first meeting with Takeshi's friends was hardly the most pleasant or more memorable, especially when he couldn't exactly remember any of it but could remember it being bad. He had changed and tried to kill them all while progressively becoming more of a monster so maybe it was a good thing that he had forgotten the incident. It was not a very good first impression and so far he hadn't been giving them any kind of good impression with every meeting. Looking between the two of them he frowned, lowering his head a little as he moved closer to Takeshi before letting out a squeak in fright as Kabocha flicked his nose. Pulling back a little he held his nose, staring up at Kabocha and hastily shook his head, "N-No! Don't say that...I didn't! I didn't mean to!"
Viral was certainly concerned about a number of things revolving around his ability to function during battle and a number of those concerns were already pretty visible. Whether Yumi knew he had a habit of being unable to control his actions and transformations was a question in itself, one she didn't know if she could put up with quite obviously if she thought it was a good idea to do this. Whatever the case, Viral was going to try his best to behave himself and make sure she was going to be okay. Grumbling lowly, he glanced over to her when she touched one of his horns and gave her a good staring at, "So...you want to do something about that. But what do you suppose I could do about that...? Either you find some way to deal with it or we're not going to be able to spar very well and you know that..."

Shu really didn't understand how food like that could go to waste, especially when it wasn't exactly diseased or anything if it had just been eaten. He would have eaten it in a heartbeat, but if Takeshi was going to be fussy then there wasn't much he was going to be able to do about that. Frowning, his eyes went to Kai and Choi once they entered the room themselves, telling them to either cook or go sit down. He didn't know how to cook, he wasn't very good with anything to do with normal society so that was out of the question for him. Staring up at Takeshi he gave a little nod when he decided to leave, heading on out. If he learned to cook he would probably be able to have a wider variety of food, but it was probably best he didn't learn quite yet and still relied on others to feed him, even if it forced him to rely on others. Letting out a sigh he squeaked when he noticed Kabocha, looking up to Takeshi and moving slightly closer to him. He wasn't very well acquainted with Kabocha and still felt pretty unsure about him, but so long as he kept with Takeshi then the guy shouldn't be able to corner him with questions like what happened in the training room.
