Kai had absolutely no faith in Kabocha actually managing to accomplish something, seeing it as something that he was never going to manage. It was especially obvious he wasn’t going to accomplish this considering it was a girl he was trying to win over, even if his ideas of winning a girl was completely perverted. Smirking at his decision to get him involved in his little challenge he sighed heavily, looking away. “You’re just jealous that I get to choose while you have to make it a competition for yourself”. He didn’t care what Kabocha had to say, he could at least be picky and not have to try and look everywhere for suitable women. Looking to Kabocha he smirked, finding his inability to see how stupid he was being to be most amusing. “If he was weak then why would that rebel woman send the pair of them to us? But what do I know: I’m not as desperate as you are…”

Shu had no idea what was being talked about but he probably didn’t want to know anyway, especially when it meant Takeshi’s friends were teasing each other by the sounds of it. He just wanted to help out Vegeta and then go ahead and eat some food or something. His plans were pretty simple but he didn’t want to go anywhere without Takeshi right now, not unless Takeshi didn’t want him to be around. Happily walking along he soon stopped when Takeshi did, turning around to see his friend standing around looking a little anxious. He didn’t really know what was wrong with his friend but he was keeping his mouth shut tight, not really looking like he wanted to speak at all. “Ooh! Friend? Are you okay, Friend?”

T’charrl was quite willing to keep his distance but in turn that just attracted attention as well, frowning when they decided to look at him. It wasn’t a case that he didn’t want to follow on but something about being in a confined place like the ship made him worry that he might brush up against someone by accident. It was strange to be invited to play with them if he ever thought so, probably because it was Takeshi who was asking. Raising a claw for a second he soon lowered it again, looking around before shuffling on after them. Maybe he was being too polite with trying to please everyone because he seemed to be upsetting others.

Choi didn’t think Kabocha was going to be able to accomplish this task either and by the sounds of it, but that was to be expected when Kabocha was indeed Kabocha. The guy never really had a clue to how he should act around women and was probably going to get punched by the end of the day, but it would be entertaining all the same. Snickering a little he quickly looked to Haku who seemed to have trouble holding his box, turning towards him before trying to look into the box himself. He didn’t see all that much that was unusual, at least not from what he had seen himself. “What? It’s a fake arm. No big deal”, he spoke before smirking, “Lots of soldiers lose their limbs and get fake ones like these. Maybe they’re anticipating someone losing their arm in the battle we’ll soon face and are just getting prepared…”

Viral didn’t really have a very focused mind right now and was just letting Yumi drag him along like a child, his mind finding it difficult to keep track of everything that was happening. His consciousness was particularly sluggish since waking up with particular events such as what he was doing yesterday and a few days before becoming nothing but faded memories. If he did get his coffee at least he’d be getting some sort of nutrition in him that didn’t trigger anything, shame too since he still hadn’t been given a chance to master his other form which happened to be a shark of some sorts. Meat acted as a trigger for his feline form so maybe his other was triggered in roughly the same way. He was so confused to what he wanted from himself that everything that might aggravate his condition was off limits meaning food made him feel sick. Following his feet along he looked up to Yumi, staring at her as she spoke before his eyes slowly drifted down again. “Aito…I-ughh…right, right…” he spoke, raising a paw to rub his head, “What if…my old programming comes back and I try to kill him again…? It was never addressed, never fixed. Always frozen…just preserved with hope that it would pass. It always ends in bloodshed, mine or his…I don’t know. I can’t think straight anymore. Have you ever doubted yourself like this? Doubted your ability to do the right thing…?”
Kai wasn’t all that bothered with what Kabocha had to say about the girl, giving a shrug when he protested his decision to hold not that much care for her with her brother around. It would’ve been a different case if she was a Saiyan, but as it stood she was a blue alien lady with a jerk of a brother. The brother aspect made her much less tempting and not exactly being one of their own race or close to it only made him sigh at Kabocha’s words. “Are you sure you’re a man”, he sighed, shaking his head, “I’d be surprised if you can even talk to her by the end of the day. You realise that if she gets angry, you have no escape, right? It’s going to be hilarious…”

Viral didn’t really know what he was saying but if coffee kept coming up in his thought pattern then it must’ve been what his body wanted. He was thirsty and tired, feeling something that could wake his brain up to be the most operable solution to his woes. He probably should watch his mouth a little more for when his mind did trail off, especially if he was to say something that might be unruly or insulting. Feeling pretty terrible he slowly rubbed his head, feeling a little dizzy as he looked up at Yumi again. “My body is not changing, my energy is moderately stable…that is all the treatment is doing for me”, he spoke calmly, looking down at himself, “Vegeta’s treatment is still missing something, that’s all…” Finding his situation to be a little less than stellar he was soon distracted as Yumi decided to drag him off for the coffee, looking a little absentminded as he decided to watch his feet instead of where he was going.

Shu didn’t really know if he was supposed to be listening into the conversation or just standing by and waiting until it was over so he knew what to do. To him it sounded pretty important and probably not exactly something he’d want to know. The talk of attacks and ships appearing out of nowhere made him a little worried about what he had to face in the future. He hoped they won after all that and didn’t end up losing too many people if any at all. It was these situations that made him particularly unsuitable for war so it was no wonder his father didn’t see him as suitable for the battlefield. Lowering his head a little he soon squeaked when his name was mentioned, looking up and around before down at the boxes. “Ooh! Okay! I can…” he nodded, walking on over to a box and lifting it up over his head. He had pretty good balance but it still looked pretty dodgy.

While Choi wasn’t exactly one for looking at other women when he had Yumi, giving Kabocha an annoyed look when he was slapped. He would do the work but if there was going to be a little challenge when it came to getting Sasha then he was going to watch and see what happens, not wanting to miss out on the amusement. Kai was a little more reserved than Kabocha but still found amusement in his stupidity, especially when it came to women. Picking up a box along with his brother he frowned when Kabocha decided to challenge him, giving him a good staring at before smirking. “Really now. You think I’m interested? Maybe I am, but it’s more fun for me to see if you can woo her before she punches you”, he spoke, sighing lightly, “It’d be funnier for me to watch as her brother beats you up for being a moron…”

T’charrl certainly felt confused over what he was supposed to do now that things were getting a little more serious, but his biggest question now was what he was supposed to do to help. He wasn’t told to take a box so he was going to keep well away from them, watching as the others took the boxes and started to head off. Giving Kabocha a nervous wave as he left he sighed a little before covering his mouth briefly as if worried he might annoy one of the rebels. He was certainly going to keep his distance for now, especially given how clumsy he could be.
Shu had never even heard of this game before nevermind seen people play it but quite frankly he didn’t care. He was having fun playing around with a ball and was having a hard time not touching it with his hands and tail like he was told; otherwise he was pretty good at it. Even in bare feet he was good at kicking the ball and didn’t end up hurting his foot. It was certainly fun having everybody play, bouncing around whenever he could while going at a fair speed. Despite how pleasant it had been they soon had to stop as the incoming ship was brought to their attention. It didn’t seem like long that they had been playing so Shu was a little sad, but at least he knew he would be able to play again some other time. Keeping close to Takeshi he eyed the pair of aliens, frowning a little considering who they were. He knew the guy didn’t like him because of what he was but he didn’t know what to do about the woman, especially when he only met her once or twice now.

T’charrl had to be careful with how he was kicking the ball around, finding it a little difficult to do when he had claws instead of toes like they all did. He couldn’t exactly wear shoes like them since he didn’t have any not to mention he wasn’t one for wearing them in the first place. If he wasn’t so scared of destroying the ball he probably would’ve played a bit better but he wasn’t going to be sad about it. Giving it all he could be felt pretty accomplished, successfully pulling off playtime with his friends. When the pair of rebels arrived it was definitely a case of keeping far away from the pair and not speaking, knowing the male one found his voice annoying and the other still being questionable to him. He didn’t want to aggravate either of them and create another bad impression.

Choi and Kai kept in the back with Kabocha, not really paying much attention to everything other than the finer details. Kai was well aware of the pair and knew they’d be sticking around for a bit with this little find of theirs so it was no big deal to talk up and interrupt everything. Standing with his arms folded he watched them all speak, his eyes only glancing back to Kabocha when he spoke to him. Kai narrowed his gaze a little before turning his attention back to Sasha, giving her a staring at as Kabocha decided to get perverted and start asking inappropriate questions, sighing lightly as he leaned towards him. “…Maybe a seven, the fact she’s related to that idiot puts me off”.

“Nahh, I’d go for a nine easily”, Choi immediately butted in, shifting a little closer to the pair, “Can always ditch him somewhere. She’s nothing compared to Yumi though…she’s easily a twenty plus…” Choi was still giving Yumi her distance but it didn’t mean he still didn’t admire her and find her attractive. She was everything a girl should be and was beyond perfect in his eyes. He hoped everything was going okay with her regarding her friend, looking to the pair and sighing lightly. Her friend may had been awake but he didn’t look very well, the kind of worn down you’d see in someone who hadn’t slept a week.

Viral didn’t much care for sport and was alright with sitting out. He was not feeling terribly great even if he looked okay. Having dried off since being in the tank he wasn’t feeling the cold too much but still felt the need to hold himself. His mind was buzzing with all sorts of strange thoughts as the others amused themselves, thoughts of the past and the evils they contained. It had him staring into nothing for a long time, at least until Yumi decided to speak to him. Looking to her in mild confusion he soon looked away again, staring at the floor as she could only express her excitement. “I suppose so. I just...want some coffee…” he muttered before immediately looking up, looking like he realised he was trailing off, “…Will I be able to keep up, though? I don’t know how I am ever going to strengthen myself enough without drastic action. Did we even take coffee with us…”
Shu did wonder what kind of game they were going to play and was getting all excited as a result, smiling happily as he exited the room. It was just by chance that T’charrl and Yumi had been leaving T’charrl’s room by the looks of it when he immediately noticed them, bouncing around before Takeshi stopped him with his hand. Looking up to Takeshi quickly he smiled back at T’charrl and Yumi, pretty happy to see them. He did wonder why they were together in the first place but he probably shouldn’t be nosy. T’charrl was left by himself quite a lot so it was nice that Yumi went to see him for once. He didn’t mean for T’charrl to be left alone a lot, just that’s how things happened when Takeshi didn’t really want to touch T’charrl and having the pair in an enclosed room would probably give Takeshi a panic attack. Getting all hyped up over the thought of food and playtime again he giggled when Yumi ruffled his hair, lowering his head briefly before smiling up at her. “I’m just really excited!” Feeling fairly happy he soon tilted his head at Yumi’s suggestion, looking to Takeshi quickly before shrugging. “Ooh, I don’t know. Don’t they not like me because I was a bad Shu? No know if it be something they want”.

T’charrl thought it was pretty convenient that Takeshi and Shu came out at the same time they did and it certainly seemed as if they had plans too for some food and fun. He’s really like some food even if it wouldn’t be the same as eating on his planet, but it was still nice and anticipated. He really needed to try and get his eating habits under control, but right now he was just happy to get out of his room without any worries over suddenly changing. He had managed to calm down a lot but still felt the need to hang back a little, at least not to make Takeshi uncomfortable by accidentally touching him. He did like social contact like any of his race but being all flaky and apparently unsettling to touch did make him uncomfortable. Smiling a little he looked to Yumi before down to the floor again, sighing lightly. “I will be happy to feast with my friends and learn how to play your way. I don’t know anything your people play”.

Viral hoped it would go away quickly or he might as well go back into the healing tank. He didn’t know what was wrong with him but he could only think it was something to do with his genes and their breaking down. He did wonder why he had to be burdened with this out of everything that could have happened to him, but what bothered him the most was what must had happened to send him in this state. He remembered seeing Saiyans so maybe it was a surprise attack. He really didn’t know what he saw anymore, anything could had happened and he would have a different interpretation of it. His condition was certainly managing to mess with his head but he wasn’t going to fall into madness, not yet. “I recognise that. I recognise their need to see me, but they are still your parents. I took them away from you. It is best to believe they would want to see you the most as you’re their own flesh and blood”. It was too long since Vegeta had been left without parents and he wasn’t going to want to get in the way of that reunion. Looking to Vegeta he frowned a little when asked about his appetite, looking down at himself. “I feel nothing for food. I don’t think I can eat anything, either. I don’t know how I feel, don’t know how to find out if I can eat…but, since I had problems before…I don’t think I can eat anything at all. Shouldn’t we continue treatment until we get to Namek…”
We'll just pretend they exist, maybe even take over them since the other seem to have gone.
Shu probably didn’t have much of a care to whether they were Saiyans or some other aliens when they were messing around with him, only that they did it and it really did cause a lot of harm when it happened and not because of their race that it happened. Whether they were Saiyans or not didn’t matter when it came to violence. Takeshi probably thought of them as all Saiyans in the labs but there was a lot of other races too and their morals for hurting them in the experiments were probably lessened because they weren’t afraid of angering the King by hurting a fellow Saiyan, even if he didn’t really look entirely like one. He was still confused to where he belonged and the experiments definitely brought it out a lot more doubt. He wasn’t going to tell Takeshi about that, he knew what he’d be told and it wasn’t really expecting a detailed answer. The hair only started to grow when everything started to get too much for him, but he did get suspicious about it and why he had it in the first place. If they changed something in him whenever they got control of his other form to experiment on he wasn’t aware of it. For now, Shu was wanting to play with his brother after being offered, giving him a hopeful smile as he bounced a little. “Ooh! Maybe! Ooh! I wonder what Mister Vegeta like to play? I like to play anything!” Playing ball sounded pretty good, feeling all sorts of happy over that possibility but he really didn’t understand what kind of game of ball Takeshi was talking about. He’d happily learn if it was going to be like that. Squealing happily he jumped when he heard Yumi’s voice, immediately turning and giving her a happy wave.

T’charrl was really trying to understand her way of talking but was certainly managing to get confused a lot, hopefully not too much as to annoy Yumi. While it probably made sense in his language too he still had trouble understanding such imagery in hers, feeling that it was more of a gesture to help him feel more comfortable. “Maybe because we couldn’t speak their language and they got frustrated…or maybe because they wanted to watch over us first before they did something with us. I don’t know. If I was an invading force and saw energy firing out of the planet I would want to find out what it means…it also stopped your technology from working too, right? If I was a bad guy I would want to see why that is too before doing anything really bad”. He didn’t understand why his planet was the only one he had come across that had energy spouting from it, finding it all just too strange that they didn’t. They probably thought it was strange that his spouted energy, but that was to be expected. “Fighting means they get energy because they get worshipped and prayed to, but peace is also good because they still get worshipped and prayed to for good health and happiness. It must be hard work being a spirit”. Technically the spirit had already been helping him keep stable and not end up going crazy, but then again it was weak so maybe its power wasn’t overly maddening even if he did try to eat the General the first time he changed. Giving her a little smile he gasped when he was grabbed again, stumbling a little when he was pulled towards the door. “O-Okay! Fun? Uhh, s-sure…” While not really knowing what her type of fun was he was going to go along with it, hoping maybe he’d finally understand what their kind of fun was. Letting her pull him along he looked up and down the corridor, gasping a little when Takeshi and Shu suddenly emerged. He wondered if they had the same idea, especially considering Shu was bouncing around despite their friend being in trouble.

Viral knew he wasn’t well but he wasn’t prepared to stay around in one spot and wait for things to get worse before he would get better. Even if Vegeta was doing all he could do to help him he knew a healing tank wasn’t going to fix his genes. Whatever injuries he had they were not healed so that wasn’t going to be a problem, but mentally he was still pretty broken. He didn’t know if Vegeta had his medicine finally prepared and had already stated him on the road to his therapy. He certainly wasn’t feeling all that great compared to when he was last awake so it was a possibility. He didn’t look any different compared to when he was last awake, he hoped. To feel the chill like he was now was probably the most worrying aspect, especially when he had managed to tolerate it last time. He would still feel the cold even when wandering the freezing planet but not to the point where he felt like he had to bundle up and shake furiously to recover from it. Groaning as he wrapped the robe around himself too he looked to Vegeta, frowning slightly when he was questioned about it. “As if I was sitting in an icy bath and immediately got out into the winter wind…” he spoke lowly, sighing, “At least…I don’t feel too hot and unable to function…” He certainly felt better for being out of that tank, even if it meant he could have his vitals monitored. He was sure Vegeta could find another way to hook him up to something that could help monitor his vitals but right now he wanted to move before he might lose his mind completely. He figured his mind would go first before his body, but with his mind being made stable for now it was his body that was really feeling the struggle. Staring down at himself for a moment as he tried to recover his vision he frowned at Vegeta’s optimistic attitude. “A few hours? It’s not going to take a few hours”, he spoke slowly, just hoping his brain could keep up, “Even if we bring back your parents…they will still have to make the cure…and even then, it may take weeks. You said so yourself. You should concentrate on finally being with them after all these years…”
Shu nodded a little, frowning slightly before he quickly shook his head. “It no like it was something strange! They hit everyone, even each other!” He didn’t know what the big deal was over a hit when they did experiment on the pair of them so hitting them was probably the least of their objections. While it was all in the past and Shu didn’t want it to feel like too big of a deal, Shu was still trying to overcome it. Overcoming something like that wasn’t an easy feat, but he did hope he was going to get over it eventually and finally be able to have sleep again like he used to. To be woken up all the time was just causing him to nap more and he really didn’t like to nap either, especially when it wasn’t exactly going to guarantee no flashback or bad dream too. Giving Takeshi a slow nod he let out a sigh, eventually giving a weak smile. “Uh huh. I do hope everything will be too”. Watching Takeshi curiously he tilted his head when he looked over towards the door, looking over as well as if expecting someone to be there; however, instead it was an offer for food and playtime. With a sudden burst of excitement he took hold of Takeshi, pulling up off the floor and bouncing on his feet happily. “Yeah! I’d like that! I would like play too, especially with friends! I don’t know who would want to play, though, especially after all the things…”

T’charrl found her wording to be most unusual in response to his own, looking down at himself curiously before back to her. It was true that he was more alien than they were but they were still strange to him what with their two arms and funny shaped legs, having all of those digits on their hands and feet. They were all pretty strange to him, but she was certainly proving to be just strange in herself. “Laugh and smack me? If, uhh…if I was one of your people, right? I guess it’s a little new for me too, but I did hear the stories about Saiyans coming to my planet and leaving again. It was a big story and had a lot of people scared too, but when they were told the Saiyans meant no harm and enough time had passed we felt safe”. He was just trying to understand what she was trying to say to him with that little imaginary scenario but figured it was just like something he was familiar with only in a different fashion. Finding it a little hard to focus again he gave his eye a rub, looking to Yumi before shrugging. “I don’t think they’ll even care if you try to threaten them. They all hold a lot of power and probably see you as annoying if you threaten them”, he spoke before smiling, “I think they’ll know something, though. Even if they’re at war with each other there might be a chance they talk about each other too, right? Can only hope if I can give it peace for once instead of constant sleep…”

Viral didn’t want to be trapped inside this healing pod, even if it was helping him in some way by monitoring his vitals. He could feel how drained he was compared to what he was used to and the pain wasn’t just general all over but as if someone had punched his gut and the feeling had circulated all over. He wondered if this was how it felt to be sick with some sort of disease. Despite all this, being stuck in a pod would be uncomfortable and he wouldn’t be able to talk or get the air he needed. Watching as Vegeta drained the waters he gave him a quick glance before slowly taking the oxygen mask off, letting out a sigh as the door finally opened. While he was feeling somewhat agitated he reached out for the towel, shakily wrapping it around himself before taking a few steps out of the tank, his eyes half-closed as he looked to Vegeta. “…I don’t know what happened…” he spoke lowly, moving his soaked hair only slightly away from his face, “I feel as if I was broken apart…but…I need to move. I can walk, at least. I feel cold…I never feel cold…”
I dunno but should we just try and find new people cause I'm not exactly sure how to find the others. Lenaya's not been seen for ages and I'm not sure she's bothered by the RP anymore, then the others ._.

It'd sure be nice to get things going and keep it going since it's lasted long enough now with a lot of depth. Plus this might be a good new starting point.
Shu felt like going to sleep after all that, even if he didn’t like to go to sleep because of his nightmares. He was very much curious about what techniques Vegeta might use to help him but he knew he wouldn’t know anytime soon because he was still in the process of treating his friend. He was worried that he’d just wake up Takeshi over and over again before he got treatment. If it was going to be anything like how Takeshi was trying to treat him then he didn’t think it would work either. Trying to figure out a way around it he was just starting to reminisce back to the bad times again, but instead towards times when Viral at least tried to make things a lot better for him. Pressing his fingers together he quickly looked up at Takeshi when asked about his time with Viral, giving a little smile before looking down again. “Uh huh…well, we were in different cages, so he tried as much as he could to help keep us both okay”, he spoke calmly, letting out a sigh, “They kept us close but we couldn’t see each other so he would often talk to me. He’d tell me stories of made up things, but also stories of things he did and what he used to do. He only stopped talking if it was time to sleep or he fell asleep…or maybe he was sleeping, I don’t know if he just got knocked out. Mister Viral would get really angry when they tried to take me somewhere while he was around, but one time he tried to run through the bars and got zapped really bad by them. Poor Mister Viral was all sizzly, but I helped by punching the bad guy who laughed at him. I can’t remember much after that…”

T’charrl laughed a little, lowering his head in slight embarrassment. He really had a lot of worries on him and was just trying to get them all out before he really did hurt himself and cause embarrassment and make himself scared all at the same time. He didn’t want to burden Yumi with too much, but she was the only one willing to talk to him and seemed to be quite alright with listening to what he had to say. “You aliens are certainly still strange to me…” He was glad she was so light hearted about everything, it made him pretty relaxed even when it was hard to think about the future and what might come in it. Feeling a little embarrassed he gasped suddenly when Yumi got excited over something, looking to her in confusion. Listening to her reasoning for her outburst he tilted his head, giving his chest a rub. “Uhh, maybe. I don’t know if they can detect each other. Spirits tend to keep to themselves, make things grow and live…stuff like that. I don’t know if they talk to each other and I don’t know a way to find out. The spirit would only know”.

Viral could understand that he was in a tank for healing, but what he couldn’t understand was how he got there in the first place. He couldn’t remember much before he was knocked unconscious, only the image of Vegeta standing over him being the last thing he remembered. It must’ve been some effort trying to get him in if he had to be knocked completely unconscious to be here. Taking hold of the mask he kept it held to his face, trying to clear his mind. He still couldn’t focus very well, but he was recovering his mind gradually and eventually realising just how sore he was. His body was circulating a lot of pain now, even if he was submerged in a liquid that healed and restored. Finding it hard to understand all that his eyes soon moved to Vegeta who took notice of him, staring at him as he approached. Looking up to the speaker for a moment his eyes soon went back to Vegeta, narrowing them when he spoke of Namek. He didn’t believe him the moment he said it for some reason, but then when he continued it seemed he hadn’t and was using someone else’s guide to find it. The reasoning was certainly there but he didn’t know who this someone was, especially when the voices he heard were filtered by the water and glass. Despite being in a lot of pain he couldn’t see it getting any better in this. If he was awake now then he might as well get out of the tank to try and calm it down himself. Letting go of the mask he instead reached out to the glass, trying to indicate that he wanted out.
Shu really appreciated Takeshi trying to help him but there wasn’t really anything that was getting sorted, at least not in a sense that it was actually going to help him find a path to getting things fixed. He wasn’t sure how to fix it all himself which is why he kept quiet about it. Sighing lightly in Takeshi’s hold he smiled up at him, just trying to give him a little bit of hope that this was all helping him before he moved away. Even if there wasn’t anything that could be done just now at least he’d know he would be able to say he tried, quite alright to say it was a bit of a waste to give it a try. He was now going to have even more worries about the memories being brought up now that he had revisited them briefly, but he hoped that wouldn’t happen since that would just mean Takeshi’s sleep would be further disturbed along with his. “Okay. Mister Vegeta is very busy, though. I don’t know if he is going to find the time to see me”, he spoke, giving his head a shake, “Might take ages! But it’s not his fault. Mister Viral is very sick, yes? It’s not fair that he gets sick a lot. He did a lot when we were locked away to try and keep things okay, but…he wasn’t around all the time…”

T’charrl knew how dangerous he could be if he didn’t watch what he was doing or what was happening to him when he did change, knowing if he was discharging energy he’d burn his friends or if he was careless with his size and weight. He could easily squash one of his friends by accident and that was something he never had to worry about before any of this. He didn’t know what Saiyans turned into other than the very brief experience seeing Shu so it was difficult to tell what the difference was between him and them. His change was completely unnatural and brought on by a mutation when his power mixed with a spirit’s energy, but theirs sounded natural to them, even Viral’s considering he was apparently created. “I’ll try not to”, he smiled at Yumi, feeling a little better as his worries were eased, “I guess one of my worst fears now is getting stuck in a small place and changing there”. He was sure he could try and keep the spirit happy if only he knew how it felt, but there was no way of knowing unless it came to him in a dream and he remembered that particular dream. He wouldn’t mind having the ability to talk to it while conscious. “I hope so. I mean…if I could just give it company instead of it sleeping for so long. It must feel so tired all the time”, he sighed, rubbing his neck, “We worship the spirits all the time. They mostly live in the trees around my area, it’s why I could talk to the tree at home. The spirit wouldn’t had been asleep when the General took it, maybe napping…but it must’ve been awful…”

Viral’s stasis may had calmed the rampant energy but his mind was anything but calm, his body only made somewhat stable because of his medicine. While he had healed from the fight the attack had managed to take a pretty bad toll on his body and mind. To say he would be feeling okay after all this was probably going to be a longshot. Vegeta’s silence had been both aiding his sleep and damaging his mind, but it was never going to be Vegeta’s fault. In his unconscious state everything he had to focus on fell to the disruptive dreams that only hoped to cripple his mentality and send him into a downward spiral. They were so much clearer when he was asleep because, unlike Shu, they didn’t treat him like another soul so anaesthetic wasn’t a concern. To test his durability was all part of the process and to break his mind was the only option to get him under their control. Shu’s mind was weak and immature, he was easier to break once they knew how. They had managed to break his mind, but even with all this healing his genes breaking down was just keeping the nail in the glass.

The sound of something external was beginning to cut through the torturous imagery and voices, some familiar voices and Vegeta’s as if a discussion out of the interest of something else rather than what was happening in his head. To say it was uncomfortable was an understatement, but it wasn’t as if he was feeling pain already from his dream. As the voices broke through the imagery he slowly opened his eyes, his vision very fuzzy for a few moments before slowly and finally seeing where he was. He was submerged in a tank by the time he realised so it was no wonder that his vision had been a bit odd, but being part shark it wasn’t going to startle him. From what he could see it seemed Vegeta was talking to someone over the communications system. Feeling a slight disorientation to where he actually was he slowly looked around, his paw eventually reaching up to the oxygen mask. He didn’t want to be in this thing, he had spent long enough in here if he was waking up but it certainly wasn’t going to help him anymore to remain inside.
