Krom saw no reason to make Takeshi feel too terrible for his actions, but he was the one at fault here. Here he was completely trying to show him up all while he was holding his brother which would only cause him injury. It was bad enough that he had transformed only to be ragdolled around because Takeshi couldn’t hold his temper back. Sighing when Takeshi decided to bring up the past he turned around, walking towards the end of the rooftop. “Viral came with us on his own free will. What happened after that was not my decision to make”, he spoke, looking back to him, “You should know that. Stop trying to find someone to blame”.

Watching as Takeshi finally decided to go ahead and sort out his friends he looked around at all the damage that had been done by simply Shu going nuts. This city was near enough destroyed all around the area because the kid decided to fire all that energy erratically so it was some sort of miracle that his friends were all being pulled out alive. He probably should’ve asked the King what he mated with to make the tiny ball of terror if that’s what he was capable of doing when angry, but then again maybe that would be taking it too far at the same time. It was his experiment and this whole process probably showed it to be a partial success if the fact the kid had no control was a little startling. It would be fine to throw him into battle without allies around, but otherwise that might endanger the kid too.

As Takeshi gathered his injured friends up Krom continued to hang back, watching quietly until they were about ready to get going. He did wonder if this battle would motivate them all to get training some more instead of doing the obvious slacking they had been up to before, but he’ll have to see to that once he was able to train with them. He didn’t know how well Korian would take to him being at their base, but he knew it would mean he would have to surrender himself first and show he was willing to join their ‘cause’ before he was allowed to do anything. Maybe they would imprison him for a time being, maybe they wouldn’t, but either way he probably had some explaining to do and give them his word that he wasn’t going to do them any harm or sabotage their base.

Once everyone was fine and definitely not going to attack him he too started to head towards their shuttle, feeling a little surprised they had taken such a crappy looking ship here. They’re lucky they parked it away from the battle because it definitely would never had survived. Shu and T’charrl were still unconscious, but Shu even less so as the stun would probably wear off soon. Their friend was much more injured and would probably need immediate attention when they got back but he figured maybe he would be fine. The fact that he seemed to be an alien similar to Frost Demons with all their different forms told him he would probably heal quick too and be able to come back from critical damage. Hanging back throughout the entire process he frowned when it was his turn with Shu, going to Takeshi for that. “You want to take care of your brother? He’s barely injured, anyway…” he spoke, giving barely a glance to the others, “I’ll fly the ship. Just you better keep that brother of yours calm before he manages to destroy the ship too”.
Cecil had never stayed outside in one place before throughout the night, this was the first time he had remained immobile for a long period of time in what felt like plain sight. The moisture of the morning was definitely getting into his gears and the need to clean them was number one priority right now. Looking to Ethan when he spoke he only felt confused by his exclamation, only curious as to what he was talking about; of course it was morning time, but he was confused about the rest of his greeting. The ground was hard but it wasn’t as if he found it bothersome, nor had he ‘slept’. Going back to his cleaning he smiled slightly when he could feel the relief in his joints already but gasped when the girl suddenly shouted, his eyes quickly looking to her before he turned away quickly with his shoulders raised.

He didn’t like being constantly reminded he was a Machina, especially after yesterday. It seemed like such a negative thing to be and by how she reacted it definitely raised some questions to whether it was a good thing. Frowning as he placed his kneecap back on he moved onto his other leg, letting them talk amongst themselves and talk about eating and all that while he made himself busy. This was the longest he had ever been with people and observing them proved to give him some valuable information to what they were like when the sun rose. First they got off the ground and proceeded to cook flesh to make food. That all sounded pretty simple enough and provided some valuable information, but he did wonder if it was specific creatures they used or just got any creature and started to cook them. Did they only use certain parts of the creature to make food? So many questions and probably all too rude to answer, especially if they were already a little freaked out by him.

Sighing lightly as his gears were fair cleaned he gasped lightly when Ethan decided to talk to him, looking to him quickly before away again, raising his shoulders. “Uhh, a little. I ran out of oil a while ago, so it’s been hard…” he spoke, sounding more embarrassed by it, “I don’t know where to get some, but I can manage…” He didn’t know why he felt so embarrassed about his own body, but it was probably because of what happened yesterday. Slowly placing his knee back on he adjusted his leg, looking as good as new again. It wasn’t something he should be ashamed of and yet he still felt that way. Keeping quiet while they tried to figure out where they were going he slowly looked over, seeing the pair mull over a map, discussing their possible route. He didn’t really know where they were going but he was curious to see how they were using it, only seeing one being used before and he didn’t even get to see what was on it. Slowly getting up he moved quietly behind them, looking over their shoulders and down to the map on the ground.

What a curious contraption a map was, it must’ve depicted this whole region. Staring at it he recognised where he just was, remembering the shape of the road as he travelled there. Getting oddly excited over his ability to read the map he made sure to remember it, smiling happily. “Is this the entire world? That’s amazing!” he spoke as he moved around to the side of the map, “I’m going that way! I’m going to…I don’t know. I feel I need to go that way, though. Can this take me there?”
Shu had been completely out of control and was probably on his way to permanently scarring Takeshi before Krom came around. Krom was fairly alright with taking care of Shu now that he knew how to and with the kid properly distracted it wasn’t hard grabbing hold of him and disabling him safely. Holding Shu’s head as he changed back he frowned when Takeshi decided it was best to instead drop down with the kid and get all defensive. This was just typical of Takeshi and what was worse was he was barely able to hold his brother and make sure he was okay after such a strenuous change. Lowering down to the rooftop with him he folded his arms as he watched him attempt an attack, staring at the Ki charging before dying away as Takeshi only proved to be too stupid to realise it wasn’t going to work.

“Are you seriously going to start this now? Really?” Krom sighed, shaking his head before pointing down at his half-naked unconscious brother, “I just saved you from your own kin and you’re going to try and attack me? You’re bleeding and your friends are all over the place. You want to get your priorities straight before you start endangering your friend’s lives?” Moving closer to Shu he kneeled down and picked him up, not caring for Takeshi’s protests as he rested Shu over his shoulder. Everything else other than Takeshi’s petty little anger issues mattered right now if he was going to fulfil his mission. “You want to wrap yourself up and help your friends? They’re probably going to need attention too considering the state your father and brother left them in…”
Shu wasn’t giving Takeshi a chance, he was quite ready to completely ready to try and destroy Takeshi if he even dared to get too close and was certainly ready to destroy everything around him too. He wasn’t able to think straight and was struggling to find any sort of centre if he could possibly try in the first place. Throwing all he could into his mouth blasts he tore through the landscape and into the sky as he took aim at Takeshi whenever he could. Snarling through forced breaths he didn’t really notice Takeshi had moved until he was close enough, turning towards him and trying to swipe Takeshi again, getting aggressive once again and only managing to get into trouble. Getting his arm grabbed he felt himself being lifted, but instead of trying to stop it he swung up and immediately tried to use his other set of claws to claw Takeshi, his tail trying to wrap around Takeshi for grip.

Krom was never sure about these sorts of tests, preferring if they kept it between them rather than have the pair fight against each other like this. It was as if he was wanting to scar the youngest considering their tests showed the boy remembered what happened other than the times he was under heavy mental control. Seeing Shu’s shots come close to destroying what little the boy’s had left he fired his own shot to redirect the massive beam while Yamate took care of the one that came flying at them. Feeling rather annoyed at how out of hand this was getting he turned back to Yamate as he decided to tell him what was up with the child, looking up to the pair. “I see. It seems neither of them even know or question it too. Is that why you decided to experiment on him so extensively?” he spoke before sighing. He didn’t know if it was right to try and train them when they probably had a lot of hatred towards him, but maybe it would eventually work out if he tried to help them first.

Sighing lightly he started to fly, looking back to Yamate as he gave him his final instructions. “Right. I’ll report where Korian has been as soon as I can too. Like these kids can fly off this planet like this, anyway…” Giving one last look to Yamate he soon turned around and immediately started flying up for Takeshi and Shu, seeing things start to get slightly more heated between the two; however, luckily for him Shu was in the right position to be disabled. Getting close to the pair he growled when Shu nearly swiped him before reaching over to his hair, grabbing a fistful. Shu let out an odd squeal in protest at having the back of his head grabbed like that, his claws trying to swipe back but not reaching in time for Krom forcing his fingers into the back of his thick scruff of a neck with one sharp prod. Letting out one quick and sharp screech Shu quickly became limp, his body decreasing in size and gradually turning back to normal.
Shu wasn’t thinking through his actions, he couldn’t see through the anger and distraught he was feeling to even try and listen to Takeshi. Seeing nothing but hatred and anger he tore his way through the vent and saw Takeshi once again try to flee from him, his eyes following him up. Letting out an angry roar in response he grabbed the smashed vent and tore it right off, throwing it up at Takeshi. He didn’t appear to know how to fly or remember how to when he was rampant, but instead of showing any signs of calming down he started firing mouth beams erratically, both trying to hit Takeshi and trying to destroy everything around him. Parts of buildings were being torn to shreds and it was soon looking like the building that he stood on would soon be going down in his rage.

Krom didn’t see how setting Shu on Takeshi was going to solve any problems the pair had, especially when it barely gave Yamate any chance to see how strong his own sons were. To have Shu change into that form was just bad news all around, especially considering he was a tiny ball of destruction, or rather at least he was usually in that form smaller than that. He was quite large there, almost as if he had powered up and that’s what happened when he did. Sometimes he wondered if Takeshi and Shu came from the same mother at this rate, but it wasn’t as if Yamate was going to give him that information when it was hardly important other than knowing the fact they were both half-Saiyans. Looking to Yamate as he spoke he stared in silence, disregarding what was happening up above even as Shu started firing erratically. “I remember my duty, I just don’t know what we’ll do if the youngest tears his brother apart. You’ve yet to tell me why he’s capable of that too so I can do something about it in the future”. Looking up at the pair he frowned at Yamate’s last words, glancing to him calmly. “If you think they’re ready. Those rebels might see to imprison me even if I save Takeshi here, though…unless you believe Takeshi can possibly combat Shu on his own”.
Shu didn’t have any sense to his actions and was just going wild at Takeshi, not even seeing how completely wrong he was with his target. He was angry at Yamate and yet everything that was extreme anger was being pointed directly at Takeshi now that he was close. He was unable to find sense in what he was doing and had little sense of direction, his arms just flailing to try and claw his target. Throwing his arms down at Takeshi he snarled when he wasn’t there, his eyes immediately looking around before finally spotting him thanks to him calling out like that. Roaring angrily he threw his claws down at him with great fury, jumping to get closer to Takeshi each time before swinging his arms around and managing to strike Takeshi again. Watching as he was batted away he jumped after him, hastily climbing up the building with relative ease and jumping onto the rooftop. Snarling, Shu looked around hastily for where Takeshi might be, hearing his voice nearby but not recognising it. Jumping towards the source of it he looked around, but soon his patience had vanished and he was immediately throwing his fists down on the roof of the building and causing it to shake violently. Jumping around he tried to smash it enough to find Takeshi but soon he caught the scent of blood, instead immediately heading towards Takeshi’s location.

Krom had managed to avoid Shu’s wrath by being lower than Takeshi, luckily for him. Immediately dashing away from the pair he turned around, watching Shu try to tear into his own brother. Looking to Yamate he found it hard to believe that he had purposely tried to avoid throwing Shu into him instead, especially knowing him. Watching as Takeshi made a desperate route to escape his brother he looked to Yamate, narrowing his eyes. “I thought you were going to test Shu, not have him pit against your own son!” he spoke sharply, looking back in their direction, “What are you planning? You know I will have to split them up if it gets too intense. We could lose this war if we don’t have both of them after Shu tears his brother to shreds!”
Link looked between Demoko and Caelan before letting out a heavy groan, slowly rubbing his head. They both had so much confidence that it was almost annoying him, stemming from the fact he had little himself and didn’t have a choice on any of these matters to begin with. Caelan could go and be done with it, but Demoko was going to try and drag him away to his doom just to see out his destiny. He couldn’t see how he had any say in the matter of whether they should go and get the Princess or leave her where she is where she’s probably confident she has everything under control anyway. Getting angry was the only way he could vent his frustration, but that certainly didn’t help the fact that he was getting overly frustrated with the fact he struggled to tell them about the amulet. Almost reaching into his tunic to pull it out he eventually sighed and decided against it, shaking his head.

Just how was he supposed to say anything about it? Contemplating it for a moment he gasped slightly when Demoko placed a hand on his shoulder, his eyes going straight to it before he stared up at Demoko. There he was overestimating his strength again, as usual. His ‘full potential’ was when he eventually did transform into the destroyer he was predicted to become so that was hardly a very fair comparison. Having the slight hope that Demoko would ask why he felt he couldn’t function he was disappointed when he took that as a sign of tiredness over what power he had, frowning as he looked away again. “Sure, sure…of course…just tired or whatever. Absolutely nothing else…”

Moving away a little he soon let out a loud sigh and threw his arms up as he decided to get up, walking a few steps away. What agony this was and it could be completely prevented if he could just open his mouth and say, but then again with Demoko not giving any hints that he might know about it already he wondered what exactly the amulet hid. Demoko was supposed to know a whole lot about the future and he should surely know about this from that, but he didn’t appear to have any knowledge. Looking back as Caelan spoke up again he lowered his head, feeling it was best as well to not continue on for now. It would give him time to wait for the amulet to be ready and for all this guilt to go away. Slowly rubbing his chest, he turned around at the suggestion of supplies, not seeing that as a particularly good idea. “You’re probably going to be hunted too! What if you don’t come back? You could get captured and tortured and killed…and then what? You’ll be gone and then I’ll be alone with-…I just-…it’s dangerous to go alone and there’s nothing and nobody you can take to help”.
Krom didn’t even want to fight Takeshi like this, he didn’t even want his friend to be blasted away like that when he was supposed to disable them like Yamate did. It was Shu’s doing and yet Takeshi was pointing all that anger at him for something that was out of his control. He didn’t know if his alien friend was still alive and it was probably something Takeshi should be looking for, yet the kid was completely distracted and more focused on letting out his anger on him. Throwing in his own attacks he became annoyed not too soon into this nonsense and started throwing Ki blasts instead, but Takeshi simply whacked them away and came right for him. This was getting out of hand and what was worse was Yamate wasn’t even paying attention to how Takeshi was doing, just the youngest who was in a complete frenzy. That man really loved experimenting on his youngest, it seemed. “Would you pay attention to what’s going on for once??” he shouted angrily before Takeshi instead decided it was best to go in for more attacks and completely disregarding his words, sending him to the ground with a fair forceful shove.

Shu just had no control left in him and was furious to the point of becoming a complete monster without limits. He wanted Yamate dead and with his power increasing with his fury his body had changed to reflect that power. Beyond his senses he was near enough seeing red, the figures not mattering anymore as his mind was lost to his rage. Trying desperately to tear the King apart, Shu threw his claws his claws down with every movement Yamate made, snarling and roaring constantly. Throwing an arm down at Yamate, Shu grunted when his arm was instead stopped and threw his other arm down in retaliation; however, Yamate disappeared before he could finish his attack. Snarling as he turned a little he was knocked off his feet, falling on his front before he was grabbed once more by the tail and viciously swung away. With Krom down on the floor after Takeshi smacking him down, Shu was thrown straight into Takeshi. Wasting no time his anger sent him into a furious rage and instead of going straight back to Yamate he was instead trying to viciously attack Takeshi, throwing his claws around carelessly as if believing Takeshi was his target.
Krom was pretty annoyed so seeing the bug alien try to transform again made him increasingly fed up, trying to knock it out of battle before it could. Throwing the Ki ball had already proved to be successful, but another blast out from the other side of the battlefield had instead sent T’charrl riding the blast into a building. He didn’t mean for that to happen, he simply meant to knock them out before they could complete their transformation. Looking to the source of it the attack was definitely not made by the King but instead by Shu who still had a smoking mouth after it. Growling in anger he looked back to Takeshi, just seeing him even angrier than before of course. This was certainly expected to happen and he had been prepared, raising his own energy. “You’re reckless, kid! You and your brother!”

Getting prepared for the kid brother’s quick frenzy he raised his arm and took the swing with the Ki, staggering back momentarily from the blast before glaring at Takeshi as he went on the aggressive side instead. Throwing punches and kicks to combat Takeshi he kept an eye on what was going on with Yamate and Shu, hardly agreeing to the King’s methods to get close to that thing. He still remembered when he was surprised by the kid first transforming and seeing it again made him rather nervous. As he threw in his own strikes he was put off by the energy that was gathering from Yamate and Shu’s direction, looking and hoping it wasn’t Shu but was still angered when he found out who it was instead. Yamate saw fit to attack the pair of them just for Takeshi, but without having to combat it himself Takeshi instead took care of it. Yamate would just recklessly attack them both and that pissed Krom off, glaring at the King before having to watch out for Takeshi once more. Deciding to go defensive he quickly moved around erratically, moving out of the way of the attacks before he started firing Ki blasts rapidly.

Shu didn’t realise what he did nor did he see T’charrl fall into that until the last moment when he saw his brief image, but even then he didn’t have the mind to comprehend it. Suddenly letting out a variety of angry screams he went straight after Yamate again, seeing him as the point of blame but was immediately shut down when his swipes were prevented and he was lifted off his feet, his body instead thrown viciously into the concrete. Letting out an angry screech he flailed for a moment before managing to find the sense to roll over and get back onto his hands and feet, his eyes going to Yamate with piercing anger. Snarling as Yamate spoke he seemed to listen to him, pausing for a moment before letting out a screech and throwing his fists to the floor with a loud bang. His words were only serving to anger Shu more and with that his energy quickly began to rise. Shaking as it continued to spark viciously from his body he strained as he tried to control the power, instead letting out a roar as he grew more unhinged. With his eyes glowing viciously his energy increasing caused his body to grow larger, his muscles gaining bulk and his fur only getting wilder before he bolted after his father again. With vicious claws he threw down more powerful attacks, his speed not being hindered by his doubled size.
T’charrl had plenty of strength to keep fighting, even if he was being tossed around like a ragdoll. He wasn’t going down and out so easily and if Krom thought he was weak then he had another thing coming. Managing to ambush the Saiyan he had clasped his claws together and hammered the man’s head down, subsequently throwing a leg around and striking the man with a vicious kick. Hissing viciously at the Saiyan he turned to watch Takeshi rush in once more, hardly seeing a reason to interfere just yet. Watching Takeshi fight again his eyes lowered briefly before they went elsewhere as a sudden surge of energy was felt that seemed to go ignored by the pair, seeing the source and immediately becoming alerted. Shu was letting off an unnatural amount of anger as he changed with his power, watching the young boy turn into that monster he had become before on that desert planet. T’charrl could feel the anger and energy immediately, finding it immediately overwhelming. Taking hold of his head briefly he tried to shake it off before the worst happened, but it was already too late. The energy from the battle had been manageable before the sudden increase and what was worse was he didn’t expect it quick enough to prevent it. Removing his claws from his head he collapsed onto all six, his body straining as he started to grow larger fairly quickly, his features mutating into more of a monster.

Shu didn’t know how to control his form and without being able to prevent it Shu was already changed despite how painful it was. He always tried to stop it but always failed to understand how to control it at the same time, losing himself time and again. In a flying rage he jumped straight at his father, trying to tear him to shreds but getting nowhere as Yamate continued to dodge his attacks, his teeth snapping at him as well before he was subsequently struck on the nose for missing. Raising his claws he hastily rubbed his nose, his fur shimmering before he turned to Yamate again with a vicious snarl. Yamate’s words were doing nothing but angering him more, his energy rippling in violent sparks before he simply flew off the handle once more and jumped in with angry pounding fists as if believing he could crush Yamate with them. With very little warning Shu’s energy was gathering rapidly in his mouth before rapidly being blasted out as a beam of uncontrollable energy that barely appeared controlled to hit the King.

Krom was rather pissed off at the alien, but he didn’t have time to worry about that now as Takeshi came swinging at him without much of a break. Getting up again he readied himself to block Takeshi’s attacks, getting annoyed when one was just a fake which made him step over his own feet and managing to get clipped by it. “You arrogant kid! The world doesn’t revolve around you!” Immediately going into an aggressive stance he combatted Takeshi’s own attacks with his own, throwing up his knee when Takeshi tried to do the same causing a rather unsavoury clash of bone. Pulling back he glared at the kid and sidestepped, backing off from him immediately. “You think I’ll fall for that twice??” Speaking of falling for something twice, out of the corner of his eye he spotted the alien having what looked like an internal struggle before it became clear what was happening. The alien was changing again, or at least trying to behind his back. Growling angrily, he threw his hand up and charged a blast of Ki, throwing it immediately. With no defences on T’charrl’s part the blast of Ki only managed to knock him back as he continued to change, but what happened after was completely unexpected. Out of nowhere another blast was fired but this time it was a beam of sparking energy that struck T’charrl as he was pushed into it, causing the alien to be blasted away by the beam and into a nearby building that practically exploded, splitting in half and crumbling to the ground.
