Shu stared at Kabocha, feeling pretty familiar with that thought but was still more than willing to try and understand it from a different perspective. Shu’s own adoptive mother didn’t watch over him all the time, but that was all a completely different culture compared to what the Saiyans experienced and seeing as how he was a Saiyan then he might as well find out about it all too, “Oh, soooo…you don’t care about what they do, just that they’re safe?” he asked, feeling a little confused, “Even if that’s the case, it must had been nice while it lasted. I don’t think any of us have had normal families, I mean…Yumi doesn’t like talking about it, Vegeta’s were killed, Mister Viral didn’t have any at all…then you get me and Takeshi…all of it is no fun and confusing. Only T’charrl had normal parents…I think…”

T’charrl didn’t know what drew him to Takeshi’s wound, maybe he could sense the pain coming from it but as a result had drained the energy that he had just received to keep his inner monster contained. He was back to his own struggle again with the lust for energy, but now was a test to see just what caused it. He was probably not going to receive any help, there was probably no records left to help him considering his ability was already seen as a taboo; maybe it was one for a reason and that was because what he was experiencing, he just had to be careful that his appearance didn’t change even further into a bulking mess like the General was.

Just now, however, T’charrl was not having a good time. He had managed to help Takeshi’s wound but with no energy of his own he was slowly being consumed by the power he had just expressed fear over. He managed to hold onto his wrist and keep it down, but as Takeshi continued to contemplate over the passing of energy T’charrl was losing his grip of his wrist as it gradually inflated and the growth began to spread up his arm. He managed to hide it behind his other arms and his fluffy legs as he quickly nodded at Takeshi, not finding it terribly encouraging as his own body began to groan and all he could do was make a groaning noise in response to hide it. He was resisting the urge to bite Takeshi and just suck the energy straight out of him, knowing it was just pure evil to do such a thing considering Takeshi had done nothing wrong to deserve such an action.

Watching as Takeshi moved his hand to the orb on his shoulder, T’charrl closed his eyes hoping it would work before he felt the flow of energy into his body, a feeling of instant relief coming to him as it spread throughout. The orbs on his body lit up somewhat again, all about a halfway glow and enough to last for a long time so long as T’charrl didn’t overdo it. As Takeshi gave up his energy generously, his hand returned to normal and he was finally able to relax his body without trying to stop something that was only going to consume him eventually. Panting as well when Takeshi finished, he slowly moved his hand up and stared at it for a moment, giving a little nod, “Y-Yeah…thank you…”

T’charrl didn’t honestly know whether he could take in their strange energy, but apparently he could and was probably completely safe to say that Kaesstrians could harness such energy when it did absolutely nothing bad to him. Giving Takeshi a little smile before gasping a little, pulling back, “Uhhh…I-I’m sorry! I’ve made you all tired over my greed, I’m sorry…” he spoke quickly before he frowned, turning to his mother, “We should…head back. We have to get Takeshi back to the house…a-and then decide my future. Mother, I have to be brave…just like you say I should be…”

Viral slowly rubbed his face before looking to Yumi curiously, wondering why she was going off her rocker over what he said. It was kind of odd that she would get so defensive over such a comment, there couldn’t had been that much that they got up to while he was unconscious. Giving Vegeta a glance before returning a lazy glance to Yumi, he sighed and slowly leaned his head back to try and relax himself a bit more without having to think about what things she had been up to that would count as criminal.

Looking to Vegeta lazily as he spoke about the plan, his mind not really finding it all that exciting to begin with, he let out a grumble as his paw slowly moved to his chest, giving it a scratch, “Hmph, who says I need a doctor…” he muttered, looking away and closing his eyes, “We’re on the run from the King and the rebels because of their idiot leader and you just want to get some doctor for whatever reason. I’m sick of aimlessly wandering just because of me…hmph, if anything, I just want to beat that rebel leader to a pulp for what he did to me…but I bet that’s not on your little plan, is it…”
Shu couldn’t help but feel that aching worry that things could go wrong at any second, seeing as how things went wrong for him in the space of a few seconds when he had been fighting. It wasn’t his fault, he didn’t mean to have to feel bad in such ways and right now it was a case of being worried for his friend and brother. Letting out a sigh, Shu nodded a little, still trying to move himself and hope that he could at least move his neck just the tiniest of ways, “That’s…true. He just does things too quickly sometimes, not thinking on what he should do too much”, he sighed, smiling a little, “Okay, I won’t. And then…and then you get your parents! It must be nice having parents, I don’t even think Takeshi knows what it’s like to have them. Father’s awfully mean, but…he doesn’t feel like one, I think…”

T’charrl couldn’t think straight as everything buzzed through his mind like a busy city, his body slightly shaking as it all overwhelmed him. He didn’t know what else to ask of his mother as she held onto her, his own fear previously that she would despise him had completely gone as he asked her for her hopefully loving support. Lowering his head slowly as she stroked her head, he rested on her shoulder and nuzzled into her, purring a little as he did. T’charrl wasn’t paying her words too much attention, his reassurance coming from her speaking them rather than what she sounded like when speaking them.

“Renthal…yeah…he’ll know, he’ll know what’s wrong with me…” he mumbled, working around that hopeful thought and trying to make himself feel better. He didn’t even know what was wrong with his other than the random out of control mutations, he didn’t even know whether his anatomy still qualified for analysing or whether he might as well be examined like he was a new species. Looking over her shoulder at one of his arms, he sighed at the sight of it and the orb that rested in it before his hand slowly reached up to the one of his head. They were like nasty growths as if his power had flowed out of his body and had nowhere to go other than to solidify; he feared for what they meant and why there was a soft glow to them, if only a little spark that looked like it was going to go out soon.

His body was well beyond what he had studied while growing up, the only cases of this ever happening had probably never been recorded as the sufferer would probably had been culled the moment it happened. Pulling slowly away from his mother, he frowned deeply as he looked away a little, feeling ashamed over it before his eyes moved to look at her hand, frowning a little before he gave a little nod. He was more concerned about his future now, nevermind a lot later when the General had finally been defeated, “The people at home, how will they ever accept me…”

At the noise of movement somewhere close by T’charrl gasped a little, his antennae twitching before he slowly backed off behind his mother, lowering down just incase it was a scout or a creature coming to kill them. Pressing low to the ground he tried to listen out for the noise, trying to identify it but what he was identifying most was the smells of it. He could smell blood, fairly old by now as far as blood went. He was a little disturbed that blood was the first thing he had managed to pick up, giving his stomach a rub as he was reminded of the horrible craving he had for it before he grew large. Feeling a little frightened still, he gasped when Takeshi showed himself and his mother reacted in a way that almost had her jumping at him. Despite Takeshi being now out in the open and the area flattened by his great weight before, he still tried to hide away and keep out of plain sight.

Looking between his mother and Takeshi, T’charrl frowned before he slowly rose up again, trying to hide behind his mother but his height barely allowed it. He had come out to help too, that was kind of him and judging by his reaction he was the same kind of shocked that the other Saiyans had been, his mind finding it hard to figure out what caused them to accept changes so well compared to how he was handling it all himself.

Frowning, T’charrl looked away for a moment before hearing Takeshi speak to him, asking if he could help. He didn’t know what he could ask for, there wasn’t possibly anything that wouldn’t feel like it was something completely selfish. Going silent for a moment, his eyes searched around before his antennae twitched, his eyes going straight for Takeshi’s stomach wound and remaining there. He was feeling a draw towards him, one that was slightly more difficult to resist. Slowly moving around his mother, he crawled towards Takeshi slowly as if worried about scaring him, a hand reaching over and trying to grab Takeshi’s arm while the other moved to his gut.

As if by instinct that he couldn’t fight, his hand pressed against the wound and immediately the orb on his hand glowed as energy passed out from T’charrl to Takeshi’s wound. It would feel warm rather than searing, but as it passed to Takeshi it would slowly ease it and renew cell growth to allow rapid healing. T’charrl didn’t even know how he was doing that, the draw to Takeshi taking him to the area that needed help most. As T’charrl’s energy ran dry again he slowly pulled his hand away, staring at it for a moment before becoming startled as it began to bulge in pulses, each beat making it larger ever so gradually. Letting out a gasp and pulling it away, he held onto his wrist as it continued to spread, a look of panic on his face as he pressed it into the ground as if trying to hide it away, “Aghh h-help! Yes! Give me some of your energy, please?? Fair trade! You said you could do it before!”

Viral grumbled, watching as Vegeta tightened the bandages before he slowly moved his arms again, frowning a little upon hearing the length of time. That was an awfully long time to be out for him, he would had been fine if it was a nap but this was a full-blown snooze with dreams and all. Letting out a groan, he slowly rubbed his head, “If it’s not relevant then maybe don’t fill me in; I doubt I can handle missing an earthquake and even more right now”.

Viral was definitely feeling fairly lost, but it was hard not to be when his only source of visual communication had been the room and Vegeta and Yumi coming in as well. He wouldn’t mind moving somewhere else if it wouldn’t be too much of a problem, it was awfully hard where he was lying and definitely a touch uncomfortable. Sighing a little, he looked to Vegeta with a fed up expression, still feeling tired after being woken up so suddenly by Yumi when she could had easily left him alone to mentally suffer, “Hmph…T’charrl? That guy with the cream? Tch…” he grumbled, his hand slowly moving to his stomach, “Fine…we can do that, but maybe tell me of whatever plan you have for leaving here and why so suddenly. I don’t even know what happened and now you want to run off like a filthy criminal away from the scene of the crime…”
Shu stared at Choi and Kabocha in confusion, his expression squinting a little bit when Choi was slapped but trying to figure out for what reason. He hadn’t caught on to what Choi had said at all, phrases like that were completely lost to him and his first guess was it was to do with pulling their hair out or something and getting hair everywhere. Frowning a little he looked back to the roof, but as Kabocha came over and gave him a pat on the head he watched his hand, feeling only momentarily confused before letting out a sigh, “I hope so…I really do…” he frowned, looking to Kabocha, “I hope Takeshi will be okay too, I mean…he’s still hurting and shouldn’t be out there by himself. I’m glad you are okay too, you still need to get your parents…so long as T’charrl comes back”.

The way back to ‘normal’ was a horrible feeling and if his mother had kept a hold of him she’d probably become ill just from feeling what was going on with his body. With his body shrinking to a size that was manageable for him and his mother, he was weakened by a fair degree for a moment and left rocking on his feet, his lower abdomen twitching to try and keep balance before eventually his mother embraced him, allowing him to relax. The orbs on his body were cold, but as he slowly managed to come to again after his massive body shift they gradually warmed up and lit up again with energy if a little dim.

He was fair concerned by his changes, but at least he had some energy gathered inside him and he wasn’t feeling like he was dying anymore. He was still hungry, even after eating an entire tree but the difference between that and real food was it was out of pure desperation and wasn’t real food. Twitching a little as he gradually gained control over his movements again, he stared back at his mother with tired eyes before they saddened, his hand shakily reaching up to hers as she gave his cheek a pat, “M-Mother…I…I’m-…” he stuttered, freezing for a moment before he wrapped his lanky arms around her, shaking, “Mother! Please…help me! Please…I’m so scared! What’s happening to me…please…”

T’charrl was terrified once more, even hugging his own mother was proving to be difficult when he couldn’t judge the distance his limbs now created as opposed to what they used to be. Everything about him was feeling worrying, he just couldn’t see who could possibly help him other than his mother. Pressing up against her he kept his eyes closed, only moving a little when his whole thought process began to crumble, “Your plans for the future! I-I ruined them…they’re all ruined! I’m sorry…I’m sorry! What do I do…”

Needless to say Viral was fairly disorientated, his eyes wandering around tiredly as he tried to wake up. He really didn’t know what was going on at first until he wiped his face, snorting tiredly after before rubbing his head slowly. He didn’t mean to fall asleep, he thought for sure he would had died if he had fallen asleep and then there was the whole torturous dreams he had. As he slowly found his mind and bearings, his eyes wandered over to Yumi again after he had given his intensive search of his surroundings, feeling a little fed up already.

It was awkward having to be woken up like that when he didn’t want to fall asleep in the first place, he didn’t even know why they had allowed him to fall asleep. His skin still felt like it was burning but it wasn’t as bad as it was before, his hand slowly moving to his chest before it moved away again, frowning at Yumi as she spoke, “What…? I-…I don’t dream”, he mumbled, slowly wiping his mouth before halting as she spoke of an earthquake, “Earthquake…? What? I didn’t need checking on, I’m not a child…”

Giving Vegeta a quick glance before grumbling a sigh, he watched him as he prepared some new bandages for him before his eyes wandered away, his body still feeling drained of blood and giving him some horrible light-headedness too. Letting out a groan as he rubbed his face, he gave Vegeta a quick glance before looking away again with a frown, “Nothing that won’t kill me, probably. I’m not going to talk about my health considering how you two react around me about it”. He was fairly hesitant to open up to them still, but even without hesitation he still wasn’t prepared to talk about the nightmares that still tortured him when he slept. He really didn’t like sleeping anymore, but it was growing inevitable as time went on and his body slowly exhausted itself, “…What’s with that strange energy? How long have I been unconscious…”
Shu just stared at Kabocha, listening to his reassurance while not entirely sure to how he was actually supposed to take it all in. He was beginning to understand that a lot of aliens had their own hidden powers, hearing T’charrl mention his before all this made him question that but maybe all aliens were capable of becoming powerful warriors like that fuzzy Elite on that snowy planet. He was a little scared for T’charrl, he knew personally how finding a hidden power could be so stressful and his friend was worried about acceptance more than anything, “I-I see…really…? I guess that’s…good”, he spoke, trying to find some light in the confusing darkness, “But…how a creature…? Like an animal…?”

Choi raised an eyebrow at Shu, scratching his neck slowly before he shrugged, “Ehh, why is it important? But if you must know, he’s hairier than what he used to be and is kinda colourful”, he spoke, not wanting to go into any of the finer details like longer limbs, his weird tail-butt thing and crazy orbs of power sticking out of him, “He might just hate colour or something? Everything will be fine soon once his mother gets him and calms him down, okay? Just don’t freak out or things might get hairy…if you know what I mean”.

T’charrl wasn’t enjoying this by any means, eating this thing was like chewing on clothing or furniture, not to mention the trees were precious and one with the planet; then again, as he began to munch on it and digest the tree’s fibre he could feel the energy of the planet flow into him which granted him some relief. He would have to apologise to the planet later on, he had to apologise for a lot of things, even to his grandmother to whom he promised never to let the power get to his head. This whole thing must had happened before, but on a lesser scale when it was the General’s fault that he was like this and the guy’s own energy was corrupt, just as he assumed the mastermind behind the culling of his race would be.

Using his large hands to shove the tree down his gullet, he licked his teeth before letting out a pretty nasty cough, causing fragments of leaves and bark to fly out of his throat. His rapid digestive system was easily able to rid the tree from his gut and turn it to pure energy, and yet he was still feeling slight hunger like any normal person would when they were missing a meal. Staring down at the ground, he hissed lowly in each breath as his mother spoke, his jaw agape as if in exhaustion already as hopelessness built up inside.

With his eyes directed to the ground, his mother hovering over so she was in vision made him turn his head slowly, his large eyes sharpening their gaze onto her as if the aggression was slowly crawling back again; however, that all soon stopped as she touched him once again, even trying to give him a hug despite how puny she was compared to him. Shaking a little, he stared at her as whatever his heart had become started to pound, his mind remembering all that he needed to now. Letting out a low groan, he silenced himself when she spoke again, his mind going back to those times when she’s call him that and act proud of him.

Sniffling a little, he slowly moved one of his larger claws towards her hesitantly, his mind delving into more intricate thought that what he had been thinking previously. Going home seemed like an odd option, he’d have to learn to control himself above anything if he was going to bring a halt to these growing spurts. He didn’t know if he could change back into what he was like before, he could remember his skin ripping open as if it was simply a shell before his body wildly mutated, even his organs had all changed and rearranged themselves with the change continuing. He was afraid of what he was becoming, whether it was for the better of his planet or succumbing to the possible consumption of power and becoming a monster permanently before having to be put down.

With all that going through his mind, his monstrous impulses began to die down, his stomach somewhat satisfied for now and sure enough the distinct pain was returning and he was soon flinching as an intense straining sound vocalised from his body. Feeling the intense strain on his body, he gradually began to shrink again, his body losing muscle and height while his face gradually returned to normal; however, everything else from before remained. He still had the long curled tongue, he still had sharpened teeth, the coloured fur covering his body, the long arms, the orbs sticking out of his body, the fat and longer lower abdomen and still fair height at near enough two and a half metres. The fact that he had eaten a tree was not evident at all, but his pain still caused him to collapse for a moment as his mind rushed back to him.

The quake and all the talking had hardly even made Viral move, all of the moving had been done all by himself. He was unable to wake up by himself, he probably would had never gone to sleep if he could had helped it but the severe pain had knocked him out completely. The nightmares rattled his mind pretty hard, everything was coming at him and all the pain he was feeling in reality was just projecting itself as the pure torture he had felt when incarcerated. There was no way he could ever wake up by himself until he had healed, it all feeling like a drill being continuously turned in his gut and forcing its way down through his body.

As Vegeta and Yumi came in there was no reaction to their presence, even as they hovered around him like the figures in his dream. These nightmares were constant and even came to him when he was alone with his thoughts, but everything in the dream was something he couldn’t snap out of until he physically woke up. Flinching and twitching in his sleep, he breathed in quick gasps sometimes when the pain spiked, his fingers twitching as well as Yumi took a hold of his paw in an attempt to comfort him in his sleep.

Barely making a reaction to her patting of his cheek except for his eye twitching, he did slightly turn his head away a little in reaction and continued to be lost in his sleep. The voice of Yumi was distant and echoed, the calls feeling awfully far off until she got louder, his heart jumping slightly before his eyes flickered a little before opening with a gasp, flinching a little as he woke up in a fairly distressed state. The sight of Yumi startled him pretty well, everything was changed completely to reality and it had managed to frighten him pretty well with him not coming quite close to understanding the difference between a dream and being awake. As his mind was brought back again, he looked to Yumi’s blurry form, feeling completely disorientated, “…W-Wha-…No…why are you-…I’m fine…” he spoke, sounding just completely groggy and probably on the verge of drooling as a result.
Kai shrugged a little at Takeshi’s response, folding his arms when he gave his reasoning for his awkward question. It would only seem logical to get one done, maybe they could get one made on this planet. They had a lot of time they could spend on this planet away from the Saiyan Empire considering the energy managed to keep them away, but of course they couldn’t always seek refuge here. The resources here were definitely open and if the Prince’s power was anything to go by he could probably roast an entire group of Saiyans with that energy, so long as he didn’t hulk out and crush them instead.

Scratching his ear a little, he nodded before looking to Kabocha again as Takeshi brought up the question once more, his brother also looking to Kabocha at the sound of the question. There was definitely a lot of things they could say instead, but they might not add up if the Prince came back and looked different like he did. It was a pretty difficult thing to explain, even Shu was staring at them with some sort of hope in his eyes while looking absolutely worried. Guess the kid really did like that bug a lot, or maybe it was the kid being creepy in general as usual.

Just as Choi went to open his mouth and speak instead Kabocha decided to talk, turning straight towards him again to see what excuse he was going to come up with. Feeling nervous, all of that quickly increased as Kabocha instead decided to tell the truth and his eyes quickly turned to Takeshi as if expecting him to react horribly to this. Staring at him with wide eyes, he almost jumped when Takeshi snatched up the sword and immediately stumbled on out of the door. This was bad, the guy was probably going to go search for him or possibly kill him with that sword. It was a fairly desperate situation, but the twins definitely kept their distance for now right up until Kai made a move just as Takeshi left, walking off towards the door as well before speaking up, “Don’t scare him, got it? His mother is out there”, Kai spoke as Takeshi flew off and away.

Shu didn’t know what it all meant or just what they meant by turning into a creature, the words were really strange and confusing, “A c-creature…? What…but…what does that mean…?” he asked out, trying to get up himself but it was impossible right now, just wanting to go and see his friend in his time of need, “T’charrl, my friend…how? What happened? What do you mean ‘creature’?? Ohhhh, but he’s so nice and brave…” It was definitely scary to not understand anything of what was going on, even the fact that the apparent tree had appeared not too long before they arrived back, “Did he make the tree…? How? How do you make trees? I thought trees make trees…”

T’charrl could only lay down, puffing and panting as he moved his massive arms around and clawed at the ground. He couldn’t believe himself, he had inflated into the monster all because his mother’s vibe had been picked up and was potentially seen as food. What a disgrace he was to his family, to his people; he had already been seen as weak and pretty pathetic before but now this was a new low that had been reached and would most likely see him destroyed because of what he had become. He needed so much right now, he had to get food before his eyes turned on his mother again and couldn’t stop himself from doing the absolute worst.

Closing his eyes for a brief moment, he opened them quickly and immediately they were directed towards his mother as she once again approached him, figuring out that his name and vocal prompts were the best way to stop him from doing something evil and vicious. With his large eyes set on her, he wheezed and hissed in a series of rapid big breaths, his lower abdomen vibrating as if displaying just how much fear he was feeling right now. Staring at her as she placed a hand upon his bulking, deformed furry shoulder, he listened to her before he slowly moved his head towards her, stretching out to rub against her solemnly before he stopped suddenly, his head pulling back as a deep vibration came from his stomach and slowly he was pushing himself up into a standing position again.

He couldn’t forget that he was hungry, that had been the very reason that he had changed and he was only going to get more monstrous the longer he ignored his needs. He had to keep his mind off his mother, he might end up turning around and ending up snatching her up before she could say anything. Letting out a deep verbal hiss before screeching, he pulled at a tree and bent it right down, his large jaws ripping off and swallowing branches and leaves all while trying to get any fruit if there was some growing in it. It was horribly upsetting for him, his desperate attempts to fulfil his desires and change to a more manageable size had him reaching out to whatever was close enough and eating it whether or not it was actually digestible.
Choi and Kai looked between each other when Takeshi further questioned T’charrl’s disappearance, Choi looking back to Kabocha to see if he would speak up but he was remaining silent as well. It was really difficult to explain, he didn’t even know if Takeshi was even allowed to know just incase the Queen managed to reverse whatever had been done to him and make it out as if nothing had happened. It was definitely making Choi feel guilty, he didn’t know whether it was making Kai unsettled but Choi was used to telling everything in a mission brief and that had definitely been a mission. Maybe he should wait a bit before saying anything, especially with Shu there all staring and looking for answers too.

Kai stared down at Takeshi as he spoke to him, shaking his head a little when he doubted that he had actually done anything, “Look, you may had not fought the battle, but all we did was make sure the Prince was okay and…that much we managed to complete, sort of”, he spoke, giving a glance to Choi before back to Takeshi, nodding a little, “You did most of the work and want to help us, so why shouldn’t we give you something in return?”

The blades meant very little to the twins, neither of them were weapon experts and definitely didn’t know how to handle a blade unless it was a kitchen knife and chopping up carcasses and additional harvested goods. Watching as Takeshi picked up the blade and analysed it, he stepped backwards and glanced over at Kabocha, wondering if he would want to say anything on the matter. It was hard to tell whether the guy was showing off any concern or had anything to say to encourage Takeshi. The guy was lost in his own little world, a little annoying considering they were having to do all the talking and making sure the kid didn’t freak out over the Prince and that Takeshi didn’t get angry and try to go and find him too.

Watching Takeshi test the sword, Kai tilted his head slightly when he spoke, giving his approval over one but showing how little he actually knew about them. Letting out a sigh he shook his head, frowning a little, “You know, you’ll get a sheath made for it and pull it out whenever you want to use it”, he spoke simply, acting as if Takeshi was a lot more simpler minded, “You’d use the back of it for the blunt edge and the other side for the sharp edge. It acts as an extension of your arm, you know? C’mon, it’s not that hard, but if you don’t want the pair then I’ll give the other to the Queen once she comes back. She shouldn’t be long, hopefully”.

T’charrl’s energy levels were in a terrible state which well reflected the lust for a top-up, only daring to consume the one thing that was in front of him that would give a high dose of it. His body shaking with uncontrolled power and fury, his eyes only went to the blade that could easily threaten to pierce his body and damage him. Clenching his claws as he slowly stood up some more, his body cracked into place and the branches shifted above his head as he made one final movement to make a grab for his mother, his claws coming down at her to take hold of her and pull her into his mouth.

Just as his claws were close to her, he wasn’t deaf to her speaking his name as it pierced through the unbridled fury and primitive nature as his claws stopped. At the drop of the sword and the muttering words of his mother to him, his claws remained hovering in the air before he slowly pulled them back, panting heavily as he moved his great hulking body. Only now was the realisation that he was about to eat his mother getting through to him, his aggressive eyes suddenly fearful as he pulled back, grunting and gasping before he backed off into a tree and accidentally tearing it out of the ground with his size.

Everything he was fearing now was happening, he was so sure he could keep himself under control but it still proved to be outside influences that kept him sane. This monstrous beast he had become had only remained dormant, his slightly more ‘regular’ appearance was simply a disguise to what he truly was. Raising his bulky arms to his head in a feeble attempt to hide his face, he turned around and tried to flee from her only really succeeding in stumbling away and banging into a few trees before falling over his own massive feet in a pathetic pile.
Shu was hoping that Takeshi wasn’t going to get angrier over what had happened in the forest, seeing as how after saying he had killed them all because of what happened. He was still a little fearful after that, the bodies were all still out there somewhere lying around and knowing that still freaked him out a little. Letting out a sigh when it seemed that Takeshi was fairly settled with what he had said, his attention soon turned to the twins as they walked in, or rather his hearing had picked them up when looking to them wasn’t the easiest thing to do at all. T’charrl wasn’t there, he knew that much and that just made him even more worried over him.

The twins remained fairly silent over the whole thing, seeing as how it wasn’t in their right to speak over what happened quite yet. Glancing to Kabocha when he walked in behind them, Choi slowly slipped over to the side of the room and prompted T’charrl’s sword up against the wall, feeling pretty sure that his parents would want it back now that T’charrl might as well just punch his opponents before they got close enough to use their own swords. Turning to Takeshi, he frowned when Kabocha mentioned T’charrl had run off, only to smile a little instead, “Ehhh, you know how it is…” he spoke, hoping it would ease some minds, “Victory against the General was quite the rush, though. You wouldn’t believe what happened…”

Kai wasn’t really fond of Choi talking like that, it just created an uneasy air in the room and looking to Shu it was already evident that he was only left confused by Choi’s words. Letting out a sigh he approached Takeshi, holding the swords to his side, “Since you probably wanted to deck him in, thought you’d might like the prize instead”, he spoke, holding out the two swords before he placed them to the side of the couch, “T’charrl seemed interested on saving them, so we took them. He doesn’t seem to want them anymore, though…for multiple reasons…”

T’charrl could hear his mother, his senses had fair picked up pretty well on these things and improved significantly; however, that didn’t mean he wanted to hear her. He thought everything would be okay once he had seen his mother, but instead his body was having another attack. He couldn’t take it, he wouldn’t be able to live his life like this if this was going to be a common occurrence; he’d have to be put down eventually before he became a killer. Hissing through the building thick saliva forming in his mouth, he slowly moved forward a few steps, his legs shaking and his body heaving something awful.

The voice sounded close now, T’charrl slowly trying to move away from it as he remained hunched and low. He couldn’t help but flinch at every crunching noise that came from within his body, everything feeling as if it was shifting the more he moved. Eventually collapsing forward, his elbows prevented his body from completely hitting the floor. Becoming silent for a moment he went through an almost dazed moment, a loud gargling noise only indicated one thing as he slowly looked up as the deep crackling rumble sounded through his body.

There just on the other side of a shrub was his mother and just as he saw her, his eyes widened in fright as he opened his mouth to speak only for his already sharp teeth to grow larger out of his mouth and his eyes glazed over. With horrible sharp bursts of growth his body he began to mutate again, his body expanding before large growing spurts shot through his arms one at a time, his legs collapsing under the weight for a moment before they too bulged up along with his lower abdomen. As his chest and shoulders became consumed with fur-covered muscles, the orbs across his body expanded along with him as his wings stretched to size. With his growth slowing to a halt, his body was once again transformed into the drooling monster, his height not as drastic as before but still managing to reach the treetops as he stared down at his own mother with hungry eyes.
Shu would be quite thankful if he could get up, but as it stood right now he was still going to have a hard time no matter what they did with him. Smiling a little, he let out a sigh and slowly moved his hand, the very process being a little sketchy in movement and simply as if he had his arm picked up and gently shimmied along to his side, “Not really…yet. Uhhh, my body doesn’t hurt, though”, he smiled, but frowned when Takeshi asked him about what he could remember. He didn’t really know how to word it, but he was still going to try his best to make Takeshi feel a little better about what happened as well.

“Umm, I do…now that’s all come back to me, sort of”, he spoke, looking back to Takeshi, “Well…you went down and I tried to fight them off too. I really tried, I did…but they had sharp weapons! Mister Viral tried to help, but he got caught and couldn’t get out a-and…they shoved the sharp thing into him. I got frightened and angry a-and nearly changed again, but…then I woke up here…” The finer details were something he couldn’t remember, but the shock value of some of the things that happened had come back to him. He couldn’t remember whether he had even woken up during that transition from the forest to the sofa, the details as to why they had gone out that way yet.

Choi was absolutely terrified right now and when he was he’d often blab a bit before getting to the point, he definitely didn’t want the Queen going mental on them and kicking their behinds all over the place as a result. She might had assumed the worse when she saw him standing there with his sword, but thankfully she didn’t nearly look quite as close to pounding them into the dirt. Maybe it was a parent thing to be more concerned over his family than blaming those who were delivering the news. Looking to Kabocha before nodding as well, Choi frowned a little before his eyes went to Garesh and Katas before to his brother curiously. Things seemed to be going well; the Queen was off and the General was now being humiliatingly tied to a post until she got back with T’charrl. Letting out a sigh, Kai soon pulled at his arm to lead him inside, his brother’s concerns probably lying with Takeshi indoors.

Kai didn’t know what to make of the situation at all, but then again this was hardly all that different to what they had seen in combat and beyond. It was a common occurrence for Ki users to have different forms of some sort, it would often be that they’d become powered up and end up looking more like the General did when he took in the energy; however, when it involved a stranger type of energy it certainly came out a lot more different. It really was like a mutation more than a transformation, Kai didn’t even know if it was reversible. Entering the living room and seeing Takeshi talking to his brother, Kai stopped and held the General’s swords to his side, “Uhh, Takeshi, Shu…” he muttered, looking between them, “We captured the General. It’s good to see you moving again…and that your brother isn’t away in dreamland…”

T’charrl remained against the tree for a short time, his eyes staring emptily at his body and his claws slowly stroking the large stone on his chest. The sugar wasn’t lasting very long, it didn’t even have energy in it if only giving his stomach a little bit of nutrition. He did make a wonder whether he had still the one stomach or multiples now, the same went for the fact as to whether he had a proper heart left too. Everything was so confusing, his body hurting still and his head throbbing. Ever so slowly he pushed his way up the side of the tree, clawing at it gently to try and get more of its syrupy goodness out as his wings shimmered, sprinkling sparkling dust as they did. He was enjoying that more than he should be, but then again drinking that was the same as sucking on a bottle and could only make him feel just that little bit calmer.

While T’charrl was doing that and trying to forget his troubles, his antennae twitching and raising up could only spell one thing. He could hear the vocalisation of his mother coming from somewhere, not sounding too far away either. Turning with a stumble, he looked around the forest as he slowly rose up on his bent legs, his body stretching out for the first time in a while, “M-Mother…? I-I’m-…” Letting out a sudden gasp, his eye twitched as he slowly hunched down again, raising his hands slowly towards his head. His stomach was suddenly growling again at the thought of her coming to find him, his body shaking as he slowly cusped his hands over his mouth.

He was feeling the overwhelming desire to eat her, his body heaving in response and his feet shifting to try and stop himself. He couldn’t control it, he could smell nothing else other than her coming his way and his mutation had made it just another staple to finding the energy he needed. All living beings had the energy, it didn’t have to be the same energy as his so long as it was something, but maybe he didn’t react to the Saiyans because he knew they could kill him while he had already drained the General and was subsequently stopped from eating him.

Opening his mouth to try and call to her and get her to go away, his hands slowly lowered themselves to show his lips were pulled back, his large teeth showing and sappy drool dripping from his mouth. Slowly moving his feet around to turn away from her just so he could flee, he gasped a few growls before letting out a horrid screech, his fur bristling wildly as he desperately tried to fight the growing urge and intense pain in his body that threatened to turn him into even more of a monster. It was only a moment's wonder that he contemplated the possibility that he was going to grow large again, all before he grabbed onto his head again and pulled it downwards towards the ground in a desperate attempt to cease and resist.
T’charrl was more than just a little panicked and disorientated over what was happening to him, almost feeling as if he was going to go mad before meeting his inevitable doom. His best chance of finding anything to feed from was in the forest he had always searched and gathered from, his survival instincts kicking in pretty quickly. He didn’t want to stumble too far into the woods, just far enough so that his senses could pick up something sweet or edible, maybe sap or flowers, maybe fruit lying around. He didn’t want to think about meat, it disgusted him quite a bit when his entire clan were fruit eaters and not like the surface dwellers.

Stumbling into a suitable place he eventually hit his head on a low branch and fell over, not quite expecting it to be there thanks to his new height. He was still technically a kid; he shouldn’t have to deal with growing pains this much, especially when it involved his whole body mutating into an unstable mess. Rolling over onto his front, he groaned as he rubbed his head slowly, lowering his hand again to look at it, seeing his fur changing into a green colour only frightened him more. His colours were shifting into a camouflage as a result of his fear, something he had natural pigment for before when it came to bark and darkness but this was beyond anything he had seen, even the bulbous orbs sticking out of him had changed their colour. Rolling around for a moment in a panic as his sudden spring tangled himself up in his own limbs, his stomach once again moaning in protest for him to get some nutrition. It was like he was suddenly starving to death and if this body required a lot of maintenance like that there was definitely going to be a lot of problems.

Shu really did hope that T’charrl was okay, he didn’t want to lose any new friends this early on and all he wanted to do was get up and find out himself. He hoped Vegeta would be able to tell him if he was alright to move soon, but the guy was probably exhausted after looking after all of them and with Viral almost dying he was probably under a lot of stress too. Looking to Takeshi, he frowned a little before he let out a sigh, forcing a smile, “I hope you’re right, I believe you’re right”, he spoke a little, squeaking as he shifted himself ever so slightly, “I won’t go anywhere to look, but maybe when I can…I’d like to see that tree. Maybe I’ll get to climb it one time…”

Soon enough, Shu’s worries were eased slightly as everyone appeared to react to the sound of someone approaching, hopefully Takeshi’s friend with T’charrl. As much as he wanted to get up and going he couldn’t, he had to remain here and hope for the best. Trying to listen out for what was going on, he pressed his arms against the couch in a rather feeble attempt to try and see what was going on. Feeling a little worried, all he could do was wait and see what had happened and what was going to be said once the Queen had found out.

Upon arriving, the twins remained silent while Choi kept looking behind him as if wondering if T’charrl was actually following them or really wanted to stay behind. Choi was under the impression that he was going to throw up, but then again who knew if these aliens could do that or even have any problems like that. As the Queen came out of the house and approached them, the twins remained behind Kabocha as if figuring they’d use him as a shield against her just incase she got mad. As the General was delivered and dropped off by her, her words didn’t spark up any concern yet for her son right up until the last moment, Choi gasping a little in response and standing attention with T’charrl’s sword in his hands. He didn’t really want to say what happened, but with Kai nudging his shoulder it was obvious that Kai wanted to avoid the wrath of the Queen as well.

Choi cleared his throat a little, looking up to the Queen and opening his mouth to speak, only becoming hesitant for a moment as his stance dropped, “…Uhh, your son, uhhh”, he stuttered, looking to Kabocha and Kai for help quickly before he frowned, staring back up at the Queen, “Your son fought well and don’t worry, he’s still alive, but…the General uhh, ‘forced’ something out of him. He took in a bunch of that energy that the General insisted on firing at him and turned into a huge monster! We got him back to normal, kinda…uhhh, he wants you to find him in the forest not far from here…like, urgently to talk to you alone…and to bring food of some kind”.

T’charrl was not only having a bad time with his emotions, but his body was really beginning to hurt all over again now not only with all the tumbling around but for a variety of other reasons too. Gasping a little, he slowly forced his way up to try and catch himself, his eyes turning to a large tree nearby as he stumbled over to it. He was well aware of what to do with it, but whether he could get enough nutrition out of it was something he had to rest. Pulling at his spiralled tongue for a second, he looked up to the tree before unravelling it out, reaching up to a weeping crack in the bark. His ancestors used to get their nutrition this way before they started using tools and harvesting some of the trees, but right now he had no time to chop it down and that just might end up alerting others to his location.

Managing to suck out some of the fluids from the tree, he could only stare up and frown, wondering what his mother would ever think of him if she saw him harvesting like a homeless outcast. His body wasn’t feeling better, but his nerves were calming down as he was at least getting some sugar into himself to stop his stomach from rumbling. Letting out a groan, he slowly slinked down the tree, his hands sticking to the bark upon the discovery that he was able to stick to things and adding to his list of problems. Relaxing his hands a little and slowly pulling them off, he slouched against the tree, staring down at his deformed body as he contemplated his future if he ever had one in the first place.
With Choi handing Kai one of the swords, the twins set off after Kabocha and T’charrl, or at least tried to catch up to T’charrl as he sped off like he had seen something embarrassing. Choi didn’t think he looked too bad, the fuzzy look was certainly different compared to the partial patches of hair some of these aliens had while Kai was feeling a lot more concerned about the future. This guy was their ticket to getting their parents and if he was too panicked to do anything about it or the Queen disallowed it, everything was going to end up ruined. Looking to Kabocha, Kai caught up with him and gave him a quick look over, mainly at the General, “So…plan?” he questioned him, slowly looking to T’charrl, “Think he’ll still give us help on getting out families salvation…? Because it’s starting to seem like it’s becoming all too…distant, don’t you think?”

T’charrl wanted to get back, but he also didn’t want to get back for he feared what his mother would think upon seeing him like this. His constant swaying in the air was him partially resisting flying there and wanting to fly there, knowing his mother would grant him comfort and hopefully help him through this. It was such a rocky flight, it was also a little difficult to fly with this body shape with his lanky limbs and using his tail to steer instead of his shoulders. The hunger was greatly unsettling; none of his clan ever ate meat and it was usually the larger more built up Kaesstrians that ate meat, yet only sometimes. He needed food, anything when all his energy had gone and he needed to refuel his tank. Feeling an intense throbbing in his throat that was most likely coming from whatever his heart had become, he wasn’t deaf to what the Saiyans were talking about behind him.

They had their own concerns; that was fair enough. He really didn’t need to hand over his concerns and pile them onto theirs, plus they had helped him a lot and he’d probably be dead already without them. Frowning a little he slowed down, he gave a quick glance back to the Saiyans, “I’ll still help…I-I will! I can do what you want…and I swear I will”, he spoke with a bit of a squeak, sounding upset but desperately trying to hide it, “You saved me, you stopped me from becoming a true monster a-and…well, you stopped me from failing so badly like I’ve done many times in the past”.

Looking down quickly to see what was going on down below, the biggest thing he noticed immediately was how well he could see during the day compared to normal while only noticing the citizens second. He just wanted to see if they were all distracted by the reports of a tree growing in an area that was deemed completely deforested, but being able to see well in the daylight still surprised him. He was a little concerned still, he didn’t know how he’d fair in the dark and didn’t want to have to wander the surface all the time. With the citizens distracted, he should be fine to continue along with how he was even without his clothes. The clothes they wore were all cultural and told other kinds where his blood lay and seeing a Kaesstrian without clothing often spelled ‘barbarian’, it wouldn’t help that he was also different looking than all the other ones. Feeling overly concerned now about people seeing him and his stomach rumbling loud, he could only feel the desperate call to get home before he fell out of the sky from starvation and down to where everyone else was.

Shu stared up at Yumi for an answer, but her own questioning just made him feel a little unsettled and nervous to what it could be. If it was going to shake some more and the house collapsed, they would be in big trouble and Viral would never get a chance to recover. It was a little concerning that Viral hadn’t woken up yet, he was normally on high alert for this sort of thing too. He was worried about everything at this point, it was easy to become worried when he couldn’t move and just wasn’t allowed to move with this entire thing probably being the least he had moved in a long time; even when he was weak he was still able to sit up and look around but with this he was left staring at the ceiling or only getting the pleasure of seeing someone hovering over him to comfort him.

At the sound of someone else coming into the house, Shu looked around to try and see what it was and why Yumi had left him. Squeaking a little, from the sounds of it Takeshi had come back from his little wander away since his wounds had been treated, smiling a little at the comfort that he was still able to do so. He still wanted to tell Takeshi what had happened to get his head injured, but seeing him come back from such an odd direction only left him pretty confused to what had actually happened. He must had seen why the ground shook, so maybe he’ll be kind enough to tell him.

Looking to Takeshi when he was in view, he frowned a little when he simply sat down instead of hovering over him like Yumi did; he wouldn’t mind seeing Takeshi, not just guessing where he was. As Takeshi spoke, Shu couldn’t help but feel even more confused and a little worried. Hearing about a tree suddenly appearing was just strange altogether, but upon hearing about the powers appearing and disappearing made him even more worried. He knew who the other one might had been, but what was worse was there was no indication to whether it was the General who had come out strong or T’charrl, “…Oh, I-I see”, he mumbled, feeling a little unsure to what more could be said, “I hope it was T’charrl, I really do! I hope so…y-you don’t think something bad happened that made the big tree appear, do you? I hope the people are okay, I do…”

T’charrl’s mind continued to swirl as he flew, slowly feeling the need to go down to the ground and just either walk or run the rest of the way but he knew he couldn’t do that. He hoped the Saiyans trusted him when he said he’d still help them, especially when they were the only other ones who knew about the situation. Then there was this low energy feeling, the throbbing spreading to his throat and to his head. He needed to get to his mother, but then there was an intense need for energy, just enough to make the feeling go away. His mother came first, but then there was the desire to feed, to drain and to consume.

As his mind drifted in amongst dangerous thoughts, he came to again when he realised he was close to drooling and drifting into the realms of corrupted thoughts. The energy that was still inside him, he knew it would affect him and he needed help, he needed fruits of the planet or the flesh of the creatures that lived on the planet; but then again no, he’d be a barbarian. Gradually coming in for a landing not too far from the house, he had to stretch his arms out to catch himself before rearing up again, his long secondary arms wrapped around his stomach and his claws digging into his sides. What awful energy that lay inside him and what an awful form he had, his hideous body simply looking ridiculous in any reflection he caught hold of, “Aghhh…I’m going to-…I’m going into the forest! Please! Get my mother! And bring food! Anything, please??” he asked out, hoping the Saiyans heard him before he made a sudden dash for the forest, running on his free hands as well in long bounds. He would feel better in the forest, he could find some vegetation to munch on if he wished, but he just really needed to get away from these torturous thoughts and into the calm if he hoped to control himself.
