Choi was having a fair fun time teasing the little bug, especially when he had managed to upset Yumi with his bad manners. Nobody should have to be insulted by such a little cretin. Staring at the creature as he rolled off his tongue about how good and able his own King was, he chuckled a little before letting out a sigh, shaking his head, “Like I’m serving him anymore! I’ll be free to make my own choices…and what do you have? Fly around your little place fifty times before you get bored? Heh! Okay”, he spoke, grinning a little, “It’s funny; you say he’s a ‘good’ King, but he says he has better things to do than be here instead of you”.

The sound of things falling in the background did manage to distract Choi from annoying Gregory, quickly turning around instead to see what the thump was. He could see his father lying on the ground with Kabocha’s parents and Goku’s image as it faded away. The sight of such a thing was immediately uplifting, even as his father made a struggle to get up after his surprise movement through space. Goku had done as they asked and pretty well too; there was no way anybody would ever had been able to follow him and with it, it all meant they were finally free from his reign. Rushing over to his father’s side shortly followed by Kai, he helped up his father without caring about the state he was in.

Their father was fairly clean other than his hands, a few scars on his face showing evidence of the occasional struggle to keep alive through beatings if ever something went wrong. There was a rule amongst the cooks that they were to dress with as much respect as they would have for the King, but ‘respect’ didn’t mean so much as it should had when it actually meant if they got filthy, they were contaminating the food with disgust too. He was fair disorientated; he was working in a dim light before suddenly there was a man with a halo and suddenly he was here in the sunlight.W-Where am I? Boys?? What-…”

“Father! You’re alright! You’re safe”, Kai spoke quickly, pulling his father to his feet. The man was a little taller than the twins, but they weren’t exactly tall anyway, “You were teleported away from the palace…you don’t have to work to the bone anymore. We freed you, and us…”

Their father looked fairly confused, not looking as if he had a clue what they were talking about or was retrieving that information very slowly. It was definitely a struggle to comprehend, going from simply preparing food to being out in the open and on the grass of some unknown planet. Then there was the ‘free’ part; that couldn’t had been possible, he could tell that to himself all day and know that wasn’t true, “Freed? What? That’s nonsense. I am pretty sure I hit my head because it was some dead guy who took me away right then!”

Looking to Gregory, it looked like he had managed to entertain the kids enough to keep them around and not get distracted by something else, something so easy for young Saiyans to do. Goku thought he had done a good days work right there and deserved something for doing such a noble deed, in other words he was looking forward to enjoying his dinner when it was made. Giving Gregory a curious look at the sight of him slightly cowering and acting suspicious, he turned his attention to Takeshi who immediately spoke up, giving his thanks over what was done, “No problem! I’m lucky I wasn’t caught, really!” he chuckled, giving a little wave before stopping, staring at Takeshi instead. It was an awfully strange thing to ask in a hushed tone, he even had to lean forward to try and understand what he was saying. Tilting his head a little he pulled back, scratching his face, “You mean the Instant Transmission? I can’t, but…oh! Oh wait, Planet Yardrat was destroyed over 40 years ago…”, he spoke, scratching his cheek a little before halting, “Oh! Wait! There was also the asteroids that fell to Earth with a fair population of them on it, huh? You have aliens living on your planet until they can be granted citizenship and allowed to build their permanent city there. You’ll have to do some searching of Earth for the Yardratians if you wanna learn it…”
Shu was definitely feeling pretty happy, especially when he had defended his idol from the thought that he would ever be defeated by another warrior. Smiling gleefully, he pulled at Takeshi’s clothes, bouncing a little, “I would love some food! I would love a lot of food; lots of fruit…ooohhh…ooh! I’ll miss the fruit here”, he spoke, eventually ceasing his bouncing when Takeshi placed his hand upon his head in a gentle pat. He was feeling fair excitable, perhaps because of the ability to talk to Goku like that even though he took a while to get there. Giving a nod to Takeshi, he smiled away before turning his attention to the others, seeing them talking to a strange little cricket thing that could talk.

Kai definitely had mixed feelings about Goku, especially the way he was treating the King in such a manner. It was as if the guy knew him well enough to know how he acted, something that was definitely worrying enough considering how much was already hidden behind the scenes. Looking to Kabocha before to Choi, he just couldn’t understand how Takeshi and his friends could trust someone like Goku when there was definitely a lot going on behind their backs. He was probably overthinking it, definitely something that wasn’t wise when the man was doing them a great favour by relieving the chains the King had them under.

Choi stared down Gregory with a bit of a grin on his face upon seeing the little creature become insulted. It was a little amusing, hearing this little creature with the goofy voice getting all upset over a little side comment. Giving a quick look to T’charrl, it was fairly evident that he didn’t know what was going on and was looking a little worried that something had gone wrong while it was all for good laughs. They could use a laugh right now and with the other guy gone there was no other source other than teasing Gregory, seeing him pathetically try to intimidate him before his eyes went to Yumi, raising an eyebrow at what she was suggesting. Good thing he was able to shut down her suggestion, if a little bit on the mean side before he looked back to Gregory, grinning, “Wow, never seen a bug get upset before! Except maybe T’charrl, but he’d probably be able to squish you under his foot”, he snickered before letting out a sigh, “Shame you feel the need to play servant to a King, though…I mean, I’m just leaving a King’s service and he’d probably squash you with his finger if you ever tried to serve him!”

It certainly seemed like a while since Goku left, especially when he could only spend limited time in the living world because of the restrictions. It was fairly difficult to get to the planet for one and find these individuals with this energy, he had to be especially careful not to miss one of them out or be spotted by a guard. He was well aware that if he was killed in the living world he’d be gone for good and disappear from existence, but it was highly unlikely that he’d be killed by someone living; however, traps and chemical change would probably do it.

The search had been fairly difficult, the energy was hard to keep a hold of and not to mention the fact the twins and Kabocha’s energy would take him away from his target because of their similarities. He was really trying hard to be sneaky about it, but when it came down to it he simply grabbed hold of the twin’s father while he was hard at work, disappear, appear by Kabocha’s mother and father respectively before taking hold of them and following the energy of Takeshi and Shu immediately instead of concentrating on the same energy pull. It was certainly a lot of work, especially disregarding the yells of surprise and words flying at him questioning who he was before he immediately left again.

As quickly as he had disappeared from Kortal, Goku reappeared behind the group as they all argued into the portal at Gregory. Letting go of the adults before having to mutter an apology as the twin’s father fell to the ground in surprise, he looked down to see his body quickly fading away, “Oh, uhh…” he stuttered before quickly turning himself to the group, giving a quick wave, “Uhhh hi guys! Hey Shu! Hey Takes-“

Sure enough Goku had vanished, but reappearing on the other side of the portal was Goku again anyway, his brief vanishing away only taking him back to the Otherworld, his hand raised awkwardly in the air, “-shi…ohh, uhhh. Well, better than expected, right…?”
Shu stared at Takeshi, giving a little smile before he shook his head. This was pretty typical of him, but Shu wasn’t going to let him win when it was his idol on the line, “It would be great…but it would still be mean to make them fight just because you don’t believe Mister Goku is the strongest”, he smiled, slowly rubbing his head, “I win! You should get me lots of fruit for me because I win”. Shu was still pretty star struck by Goku being there, he wasn’t going to stop believing that his hero could be beaten even if he was dead already. Giving his head a little rub he looked to the strange portal, staring at Goku, “Maybe he’ll tell us sometime when we ask him again? The other Mister Vegeta is gone…”

Goku knew he would have trouble finding out what he was supposed to be looking for, especially when considering the kids were on an unknown planet which made it fairly difficult to pinpoint what their energy felt like to search for the parents. He’d probably need to use some time to go over there first to check it out, something that would take a little bit of time out of the energy he was allowed to spare to make the trips. The biggest thing he was hoping for was to not end up bringing the parents back to the Otherworld by accident, especially considering he’d get into big enough trouble from King Kai if that mess up happened; it would involve getting King Yemma involved to take them home and that would just mess up his chances of doing that again freely.

Staring at Kabocha as he spoke, Goku folded his arms before giving a nod, looking off for a second as he tried to think it all through. It shouldn’t be too hard to do all that and he did owe them for what they were trying to do while he was dead, at least feeling as if it was a worthy and noble mission they were taking on. Giving a quick nod, he put two fingers to his head, trying to pinpoint the kid’s energy before trying to find the parents, “Oh, don’t worry about the King. He can’t do anything to me, plus he’ll probably not be too fussed about why I’m stealing a few of his people”, he spoke, giving a little smile, “He’ll be questioning WHY I’m doing this over anything! I know I would be wondering why I’m taking a few, but he probably wouldn’t care…”

At this point, King Kai was showing signs of laziness as his attitude quickly kicked in and he was not having any of the situation or potential social time right now. He was so antisocial, that or he was very shy around new people or just plain scared by the bunch who were just staring in. Goku knew he would be like this, it was always so typical and a little old at this point. Letting out a sigh, he watched as Gregory was quickly shoved into the scene while King Kai quickly made his leave. Smiling a little bit, he let out a sigh before he waved his hand to the portal, “Keep them from getting bored, if you can? This may take a few minutes and it’d be an awful shame if they were left staring at a little house all day!” he spoke before his image began to flicker as he gave a little wave, “I’ll be back real soon!” In the blink of an eye Goku vanished completely, not leaving anything generally behind apart from a little uprising from the grass under his feet; he was away making the favour with every intention of it going well.

Despite how curious Kai looked, Choi was hardly able to contain himself at the thought that he might be finally free of the hindrance being bribed all his life came to. He didn’t know what he was supposed to do after all of that, it was so strange that it was finally happening and they would be finally able to relax without worrying that they were going home to punishment or the barracks simply to wait for his next mission. Seeing Gregory in the portal, he snickered, pointing at the little bug alien, “Hey T’charrl, he’s not a cousin to your species, is he? Only his eyes are way too big…”
Shu nodded his head, giving it a quick rub as well, “Mister Goku first!” he squeaked only to shake his head when Takeshi doubted his words. There was no way Goku could lose out to Vegeta or anyone for that matter; the man was so strong and nice while Vegeta seemed quite grumpy, even managing to get Viral who was usually the grumpiest down trying to pay respects to him. Shu had a lot of respect for Goku, even though he sometimes forgot what he looked like, “What if they don’t want to fight? That’s a bit mean to think they’d fight just because you’re too lazy to get food”, he nodded, smiling a little, “Besides, Mister Goku would win, anyway…”

Goku couldn’t help but laugh at Vegeta, feeling pretty jolly after teasing him, “Ahhh I’m just teasing you, is all! You think my granddaughter would had never had any kids?” he spoke, “Besides, I’m not saying where they are when they want to live elsewhere”. Seeing Vegeta leave definitely managed to leave a curious thought behind, but as that moment of thinking quickly disappeared when the alien spoke and King Kai took it in for him.

Viral didn’t know how Vegeta might react or whether he knew anything about it, seeing as how he barely knew who he was. He kept his head down low, not feeling worthy enough to raise it up to look at him. Keeping silent, he held his breath before the sound of Vegeta exiting made him look up, his expression dropping a bit upon seeing him disregard what he said. Sighing lightly he lowered his head, frowning as he once again felt ignored.

Looking to King Kai, Goku scratched his head as he was presented with the idea that the alien had in mind for him and the request he was trying to fulfil for the other lot of Saiyans in the back, his eyes going to them curiously. They looked like regular soldiers, odd that they’d want something like their parents back when Saiyans generally didn’t care much for their parents as evident with every other one he’s met. Tilting his head a little, he looked back to King Kai, smiling a little, “You’re also very dead too and probably hate the thought of confronting Saiyans as well, even after thinking I was one of the only ones left”, Goku smirked, straightening up a little, “I’ll do it, no problem! Uhh, just where is this world they’re on…? The parents are at the palace, right? Sorry, I just need to get a feel for the energy signatures before I think about going to the living world and trying to pull them out as quickly as I can…where did Vegeta fly off too, anyway? Gotta have someone to entertain the kids while I search and you’re too ‘busy’, aren’t you…”
Link was definitely feeling a little conflicted over this whole problem he had, but the support he was receiving was somewhat nice. He really found it hard to say if he had a problem and where the problem lay if it was something that was incredibly life-changing, but it was nice to feel no darkness in his heart for once. Giving Caelan and Demoko a glance each, he gave a little nod and sighed as he was reassured that his abilities wouldn’t be needed when there was none in the first place, “If I ever live long enough, maybe I should become an adventurer…” he mumbled, slowly scratching his chest in contemplation.

Soon enough, Nayrin arrived back and Link felt that little spark of happiness; that was until he saw Regol pop out of her shadow, that is. He really hated that guy, considering the man tried to kill him several times and now he was too close to Nayrin for his own good. Frowning a little, he looked away, his eyes slowly wandering to the merchants with waning interest. He didn’t care what happened now or what the plan was, he had his own concerns right now and none of them included hoping the future would turn out a lot better than this.

Waiting for Demoko to cease his talking to the troupe, he looked around slowly with some interest towards the possible ambush that they might have encountered and what could had possibly happened. It would have been reckless to fight on a bridge, so there must have been other plans instead of that. He was so close to his home in terms of distance compared to where he’d been not long ago, a frown appearing on his face at the thought of going back to his father. He was still really worried about him, but maybe it was for his own good that he wasn’t anywhere near him through fear that he’d be captured and tortured mercilessly.

Once Demoko turned his attention back to them, he stared at him before Demoko changed his shape again, this time into the form that he had used to trick Link in the first place. He was still a little sour about that, but at least that time he got some food to eat before his life was threatened and changed forever. Frowning, he looked to his hand as a ring was given to him, one that didn’t look very impressive except for being silver. He didn’t quite understand how it managed to possibly change his appearance, but with a rather doubtful look to Demoko he slowly slipped on the ring only to see his appearance change immediately.

Link’s appearance had taken on the form of a fair skinned healthy youngster with black hair and green eyes, his clothes well fitted and in the style of traditional traveller clothes. The first difference he noticed immediately was his skin colour; it no longer the dark tan it was before. Staring at his hands, he gasped a little when he quickly looked to the others, only to nervously climb on into the cart with all the others.

This had suddenly become nerve-wrecking. He didn’t know what could possibly happen next and was a little worried that he would blow the hiding game by acting too much like the cowardly runt he really was. He just had zero courage with everything inside the pendant, or rather at least the little sliver that was there before. Being stopped by a Templar didn’t help at all, his eyes going to Nayrin before he lowered them quickly, trying to act as normal as a kid like him could. He still felt incredibly odd about his appearance, but the more he thought about it the more he could get upset that he wasn’t born this way instead. Letting out a sigh one last time, he hiccupped when the cart began to move again and quickly snapped out of it, his hand reaching over to scratch his ribs in a nervous twitch.
Viral kept his head lowered, not feeling worthy enough to look at the man directly in the eyes as he spoke down to him. He didn’t like what he was hearing so far, the man must had known something but he was just talking like he was judging him by his appearance rather than asking about his situation. Lowering his head a little more, he gave a side glance to Vegeta Jr when he spoke about him. What did he know, he didn’t understand any of it and neither did any of them. Growling lowly, he stopped when Vegeta spoke, looking up at him.

He didn’t know how he was supposed to take that; the man should surely understand what it felt like to fail, seeing his history was filled with him constantly living in Goku’s shadow. Holding his breath until Vegeta stopped talking he looked up, almost trying to stand but finding it a little difficult to keep his head together, “I killed your grandchild in cold blood! The very warrior of great intelligence, the one who created me to live after your legacy; I have shamed your family name…”

With the appearance of Goku, everything seemed to had changed and even the twins felt the anticipation of what was going to happen and what Goku’s decision would be. Shu couldn’t help but bounce a little at the sight of him and hearing his voice, smiling gleefully despite Vegeta quickly belittling him while calling him an odd name. Kakarot sounded like an oddly yummy name to him, but that was not the best thing to mention at this time. Feeling a little too happy, he bounced a little before finding himself pulled towards Takeshi, smiling gleefully and giving a little nod, “Mister Goku would! Uh huh!”

Goku sighed at Vegeta’s inability to be social, shrugging a little, “I’m just kidding! Geez man, loosen up a little”, he chuckled, having a look over the pair of them to see what was going on. It looked like a giant bug was with the group, his eyes going between Vegeta and Vegeta Jr, “Woah, that must be incredibly awkward, huh? Wish I could see my family legacy like this! What’s going on? Just a casual testing this odd rift one of you have created?”

T’charrl looked a little confused and couldn’t help but feel a little left out here, his claws tapping together as he let them all talk amongst each other. He wasn’t really understanding what was going on, but when Vegeta Jr soon realised he smiled a little, “S-Sorry…I should really try and learn it”, he spoke before his attention went to King Kai who next spoke up, his eyes looking to the strange blue alien. He smiled a little upon realising that he would be able to get his questions through, he nodded and shuffled forward a little bit, “Uhh, Great Ones, we need your help. We have to retrieve a couple of adult Saiyans from their oppressor and transport them here to their sons. I don’t know who they are, but please, will you help us?”
T’charrl was fairly curious to what Takeshi meant, but was a little disappointed when he found out what a moth was. Apparently that made his race a bunch of overgrown bugs, hearing that they were stupid was a bit of a downer too, “…They could be smart, you just don’t understand them…” he muttered, frowning a little. Despite hearing about that, he would still enjoy seeing what Earth was like and how much like his own home it was. It shouldn’t be too different from his own, they seemed to like eating their food and were aware of what trees were so it must had been a nice place to be with lots of little creatures like Takeshi and Shu.

Viral was reluctant to come out of his stance, he had a lot to answer for and knew that Vegeta was the highest regarding factor in it all, especially when he had done the absolute worse to his family. Looking up momentarily when Vegeta told him off for calling him such a thing, he lowered his head again and shook it, his tone low, “I have disgraced your family’s name and legacy, I have to make it up to you and those who have suffered because of me under your name. You will always be the Prince…”

Viral didn’t know how else to seek forgiveness other than through the ancestors of Vegeta Jr, it was painfully obvious that the ones he had killed weren’t there and they would probably never forgive him. If it would only make him feel a tiny little bit better knowing that he had apologised to the man who started it all, even if he barely acknowledged it and had no idea who he was.

Out and about elsewhere, Goku was just starting to arrive back at King Kai’s planet after having a good old time. He enjoyed going out and about even when everything was so far away, but teasing Princess Snake was probably the highlight of the day so far. Arriving back with laughter in his expression, it quickly turned to confusion when he spotted Vegeta not training as usual and King Kai looking a bit withdrawn for some reason.

Dropping down close to them, he wandered over to them curiously only to see a strange glowing mirror of some kind, something he wasn’t fully aware that happened, “Hey! King Kai, Vegeta? What ya both staring at?” he asked, looking over from behind them to give a quick check, only to see some strangers bar Takeshi, Shu and Yumi in the strange portal, “Woah! Vegeta, you didn’t tear a rift between the living and the dead with all your training, or something? That’s pretty cool!”
Ima post tomorrow if you don't get one in tonight with Link's contemplation over the ring and his little ride away with everyone, also other things.
T’charrl was feeling a little embarrassed about it all, lowering his head a little and giving a nod as King Kai spoke. He was pretty nervous about this all, seeing a being such as him on the other side instead of Goku. He must had let his friends down by not pinpointing the man, he just tried to find him through methods that made it easier to find the guy without knowing what he looked like. He was feeling pretty silly, but knowing the man was somewhere did make him feel a little better about his problem finding Goku.

Giving a little nod when King Kai responded to what he called him, but was a little taken back when the man laughed at him instead. Frowning a little, he looked around himself before back to the man, trying to smile a little before another voice was heard. He didn’t really understand it, but when the man popped around T’charrl backed off a little, staring at him curiously before slowly backing off. He didn’t know who this man was but he was definitely imposing and looked fairly scary, his eyes quickly looking around only to stare at him when he stared back. Feeling a little worried to what was going on, he looked to Takeshi when he spoke up instead, frowning a little, “’Moth…thing’? What is that…”

Viral wasn’t really concerned with paying that much attention to King Kai, even when he knew who he was. The man’s voice was probably the most annoying aspect of him and it definitely was jarring at the best of times, but when he heard another voice he looked up again, instead seeing Vegeta at the portal. His heart almost jumped; the man who started it all and lead to his creation. Pushing himself up he slowly moved onto his knee, lowering his head, “Prince Vegeta…” he spoke, raising a clenched fist to his chest. Despite never meeting the guy before, he knew who he was and could only hold the deepest respect for him.

T’charrl was a little uncertain to what he should do about this, seeing as how Goku wasn’t here and he didn’t know if he should search for him again; then again he was on the move somewhere, so hopefully he should come back again. Letting out a sigh, he looked between the two Vegetas, not looking too sure to what he should say. He didn’t know if this other Vegeta could understand his language so it would be rude to start speaking to him and assume everything was okay. Looking to Takeshi before to his friends, he turned to them slightly, “Who are these two…? One of them’s a Prince?”

Kai wasn’t aware of any Prince that was a Saiyan, his eyes going to Vegeta Jr as he tried to figure it all out. The only Saiyan Princes he knew were Shu and Takeshi, but if this guy was a Prince then there must had been another royal family that existed with Vegeta Jr being related to it. That was a fair odd surprise, but he couldn’t imagine how awkward it must be to see a dead relative like that. Waiting for Goku was going to be a little annoying, but if he was away and this was as close they were going to get to him then the wait shouldn’t be all that bad.
T’charrl wasn’t saying anything, but he was fair drained after doing that just like he always felt after tearing apart dimensions. Nobody was in any risk of him losing control, but such a process would naturally make someone a little weary. Looking to the others, he smiled a little when he saw how interested they all were, on account of Viral who only really turned himself around most likely out of curiosity. Shu was trying to touch the flames but nothing was happening, naturally for a number of reasons involving the nature of the flames. Smiling a little, he took a brief look up to see if Goku was there only to be given a fright as a strange creature instead spoke through the portal, T’charrl’s hand going to his chest as he backed off a little.

Shu was very interested in what he was seeing, he really didn’t know how this was happening but it was fairly interesting to him. The flames felt like nothing, just as if he was waving his hand through air and nothing was coming of it. It was very strange, but upon seeing the image of the little house Shu’s attention was taken up only to squeak when King Kai suddenly appeared. It was definitely odd that such a thing was possible and he did wonder how it was possible, but instead he opted to move close to Yumi and cuddle into her, staring at King Kai curiously.

The twins had never seen something like this before, even knowing what the other side looked like was definitely strange and new to them. Kai wasn’t really sure how to react, he didn’t even think such a place existed when they died and had been doubtful upon seeing the house that Goku would even want to be in such a weird little place. Seeing the dead alien was a little surprising, but Choi didn’t find any surprise in it at all and was more waiting for the moment that Goku would pop up. It didn’t appear as if the guy was there at all and this strange being speaking just now confirmed the fact that he was away somewhere.

T’charrl thought he had failed for a moment when he saw the strange man instead of Goku, his eyes lowering for a moment before even realising what was being said, or rather the fact that he could understand the man. He thought he would have trouble understanding anything someone else was saying, but this man seemed to be able to speak universally possibly through those antennae of his. Tilting his head a little, he looked to the others for a moment before back to the man, trying to think on just how long they might need to wait until Goku arrived. He was just happy that he had managed to actually find someone who knew Goku and from the sounds of it he really did spend a lot of time on that strange little planet.

Slowly scratching his chest, he lowered his eyes a little before looking up again once the man spoke after Vegeta, tilting his head a little before looking behind him before back again, “Uhh…m-me…?” he spoke, feeling a little unsure about this. Slowly nodding, he lowered his head again, rubbing his claws together, “I-I-…yeah, I’d figure it’s been a while, especially when I just found out there was many more out there who used to be like me”, he spoke, frowning a little, “I did it by extracting my soul using my energy, so…essentially I can look into the Otherworld because I’m technically not alive right now and I’m seeing where my soul is seeking to go to. I have it locked down using my power so it can’t go anywhere. My grandmother told me it was possible to do it, she’s refusing to pass on because she likes it here better. I spent a long time trying to learn it. My ancestors used to do this to seek wisdom from those who passed on…didn’t they? I was desperate to find out about myself when I learned it, but I don’t know who to seek…uhhh, did that answer your questions, Great Sir…?”
