Choi looked to Yumi, tilting his head a little before he sighed, moving a little closer to her, “Maybe he was just tired? When I’m too tired I don’t heal very well either”, he spoke, smiling a little, “I get into a lot of fights and everytime I heal I’m either quick at it or very slow, so is my brother. Do you have fast healing? Or have you not been able to test it…? Uhh I mean, I-I don’t want you to get hurt! Just uhh, have you been hurt? Bet you haven’t when you’re such a good fighter and all…uhhh, I-I don’t mean that you’ve never been in a fight! Uhhh, my bad. What I really mean is…well, he’ll be fine, I’m sure of it!”

Just as Choi suspected, Viral was soon showing signs of waking up only to try and almost claw off Vegeta’s head, only to stop as he came to finally. Letting out a sigh before looking to Yumi, he smiled at her, “See? He’s alright, no problem! Don’t worry about it”, he nodded, bumping her shoulder a little, “He’s been through worse, I mean…hell, he’s a fighter”. He didn’t have too many doubts about Viral, but his confusion when he woke up was a little odd. He was either deep asleep or he truly was disorientated.

Viral didn’t know where he was, his mind not really recovered and he was left truly disorientated. He couldn’t remember too much, but the anger he was feeling was running fairly high and all he wanted to do was tear something apart. He needed to keep himself under control, especially with all of them here staring at him like he was in a test tube. Slowly rubbing his head until he was given the towel, he looked to it before he let out a groan, rubbing the towel against his head as he tried to clear his head. He couldn’t really remember much, but he didn’t know how to translate that into words they’d understand.

Only giving the clothes a look before Kabocha suddenly interrupted, looking to him with mild annoyance. He didn’t know what he was talking about, but the thing with his arms, he probably meant his powers. He wasn’t too keen on them seeing his abilities, especially when he preferred to not use them. Everyone else always seemed so disgusted over them and yet Kabocha was having fun with the thought of seeing them, probably because he quite liked disgusting things. Slowly looking away he stared at the floor, slowly rubbing his towel over his head. He didn’t know if he was feeling better, all he could feel right now was very tired, confused and had quite a headache.

Giving the clothes a quick look, he let out a sigh as he took the clothes off Shu, holding them up for a moment before he let out a grumble. It wasn’t his fault that his clothes were constantly getting torn part, now he had to get some that stretched and was terrible looking; they were the ones who were tearing up his clothes the most, not him. Letting out a groan, he soon turned to look at Takeshi, giving him a momentary glare before looking away again, “I did nothing you couldn’t had done if you thought to use your weapon you got on that planet”, he grumbled, slowly rubbing his head, “If I passed out and was able to rest…then why did you wake me? For the first time in a long time…hmph, I don’t care, I’m just complaining for the hell of it”.

Giving his hair a rub with the towel, he let out a sigh as he looked down at himself, his eyes soon wandering over to Yumi when he noticed her out of the corner of his eye; however, her expression was hardly the first thing he noticed. She was holding hands with one of those twins with the twin himself looking pretty close, his mind immediately going to the most true of conclusions. She was being intimate with one of the twins, a Saiyan of all things and not anybody he had planned that she’d go with. With almost a sharp twang piercing straight into his heart, he looked away again and down at the clothes, feeling his anger building as he slowly rubbed his head, “Aghhh damnit…! Why did you wake me again??”
Throughout the entire travel, Shu had wanted to stay near Takeshi until they arrived at this destination. T’charrl had remained with him with Shu ending up falling asleep in amongst his fluff on his lap for the trip. Shu’s head had made him fairly tired, his body still trying to catch up with the healing T’charrl did on him. T’charrl didn’t mind, he was pretty awake since he was still in his night cycle and his species didn’t need to sleep until every second day or so with their energy mainly coming from food, sunlight and moonlight. Being in the ship was pretty draining, but he had plenty of food before heading onto the ship. He was still pretty scared about being off his planet, but it had barely been able to get through to his head in the end that he was out in space and travelling. With Shu up and about again T’charrl was free to move around; however, he couldn’t say his legs were feeling a little stiff after spending so much time on the floor.

Kai hadn’t been all that fussed for food and had gone off for a nap in the meantime, sleeping in the room his father had chosen for them all while his father napped too. He was feeling fair protective over his father since freeing him, he knew how difficult it was to get used to being free and able to have a nap so having that little moment of peace really brought calm to his mind. It was only a few hours peace and the beds weren’t the most comfy he had been in since the bug planet, but it was still peace he hadn’t had in a while. It was a hard time getting up again after having a good sleep, but all in all he was back to functioning and simply wandering around while the others helped out Viral down at the tanks.

Choi had stayed with Yumi for the majority of the time and while he did feel the tiredness while Kai was sleeping, he didn’t feel the need to say anything when it would probably be weird for him to mention having that nap all of a sudden just because Kai was napping. With Kai back up and awake again he was feeling refreshed too, all while he remained with Yumi and stared at Viral as Yumi expressed her worries. Giving Yumi a pat on the shoulder with a smile, he took hold of her hand and shrugged a little, “Don’t worry! It’ll help…whatever he had wrong with him”, he nodded, smiling a little, “It’ll fix anything in and out, so long as he wasn’t in a critical state he’ll be healed enough…besides, doesn’t he have super-fast healing too?”

Shu didn’t know what to expect, he was just told to stand there with towels ready for Viral so he would feel alright after coming out of the liquid. He didn’t know the entire story of why Viral was in the pod, he had just heard he had collapsed but other than that there didn’t appear to be anything wrong with him. Looking between his brother and Viral, he gasped a little when the liquid began to drain away with a frown on his face. It was definitely leaving Viral looking a little soggy so the towels would come in handy. Moving around with Viral as he was moved, he stared at his friend before he looked to Vegeta, frowning a little when he didn’t appear to be waking up.

Viral still appeared unconscious throughout the entire move, his head low and his body limp. He didn’t appear that much different if a little pale, but that was of little detail compared to how he should be feeling. He should be healed up fully by now, he just needed to wake up now. Remaining fairly still as he was moved away to the chair, he remained unconscious as the liquid gently dripped down him. Failing to show any signs of life, Vegeta soon decided to come over to him, hover over him and pat his cheek to try and bring life into him. He was warm so he wasn’t dead, but his response seemed delayed when most would had woken up by now. As Vegeta attempted to get some response out of him by talking to him, he appeared fairly delayed at first before suddenly growling lowly, jerking a little before he suddenly swiped his claws out at Vegeta’s head; luckily, however, they jerked to a halt just before hitting Viral, his claws going to his head. Letting out a groan, he tried to find his bearings and mind, it all feeling fairly lost to him, “…Where am I…”
Kai frowned, shaking his head a little with a sigh. It was hard to not be a twin if he had grown up as one and was still technically a body double of himself, making it difficult to handle when there was someone in the way of his other self. It was already hard to keep Kai and Choi apart, but now it was guaranteed and who knew how long this would last until Choi got bored or was dumped by Yumi. Yumi dumping him didn’t seem to be something that would happen anytime soon, making him feel fairly discouraged and yet annoyed at himself as well when it all relied on Choi’s happiness, “I guess not…but it’s hard to see coming when nobody likes you your whole life; hell, I bet you and Takeshi didn’t like us!” he spoke, pointing to himself, “It’s not easy having to come from a background where you are with your brother your entire life, then he’s suddenly with someone else”.

Kabocha wouldn’t understand, he was a single child after all. Smirking a little at Kabocha getting all annoyed over what he said, he soon sighed and looked elsewhere. He should probably try and cool it a little, it wasn’t as if Choi was gone when he was just right on up where the rooms were. Lowering his head a little, he looked to Kabocha when he gave him a bump before he nodded, looking up the corridor, “I guess you’re right about that. Let’s just go before something else happens, okay?” he sighed, giving a nod, “I’ll probably go in the same room my father’s in, I don’t know what you’d want to do if you’d want to find a bed in with us rather than your parents…”

Choi was completely flustered, he didn’t expect something like this so soon and all he could think about it was how amazing it was to feel this way. Even if it might end up being for a limited time, he was excited and pretty bouncy about it, smiling away at the thought of it. For once in his life someone liked him enough to want to be socially involved with him, so it was definitely a step forward toward being accepted by everyone.

Giving Yumi a quick nod and moving closer to her, he soon moved a step back and looked away, feeling fairly embarrassed at the moment, “Y-Yeah, I’d love that! I’m sorry I’m just so nervous, I’ve never had this happen to me before”, he nodded, looking back to Yumi and smiling. She was really nice and really cool, her fighting style and attitude was definitely a breath of fresh air, “You’re the only outsider who has shown proper kindness to me and not taken it back. You know how much that means to me?”

Smiling as Yumi somewhat accepted his apology, he nodded quickly before he let out a sigh, lowering his head a little, “I didn’t want to end up as another experiment and seeing what they did to Shu was just difficult to understand, I mean…that kid, he went nuts and yet was such a zombie to orders. It scares me to end up like that and lose my father and brother”. Everything about that chilled him to the bone, he just hoped Yumi didn’t have it too bad. Looking up to her again, he pulled his face back a little and smiled shyly when she tapped his nose, feeling a little giddy, “Heheh, I guess nothing too bad, huh? I do hope you like them too…”

T’charrl did think he should had really been meditating to try and keep his powers in check if he was to ever be left alone for the night, especially when the main reason he was okay right now was because he had people talking to him and keeping him connected to their way of thinking. He didn’t like the feeling he got when he was alone, as if the very feeling was tearing him apart and making him angry for no reason. Once they all went to sleep he’d probably have to maybe meditate with them in their room, trying to find his centre and focus on control. Walking quickly along with Shu, he gave a quick look when it seemed Kabocha and Kai were still in the corridors, his focus on getting to Takeshi to keep him company and make Shu happy as well.
Kai was fair moody now, but it was pretty often that questions like that would arise about him and his brother because of their ability to link. He didn’t see it as freaky that they could practically read each other’s thoughts until he was told it was a weird thing and definitely something every sibling did not have. It made him a little depressed when it was played out as a joke, but then again everybody loved to play that card and he just had to get used to it. Letting out a sigh as he folded his arms, he frowned a little, “I can get glum about things if there’s a reason to get glum about it”, he muttered, shaking his head.

Of course he was bothered by it; he was close to losing his brother and he was busy having a joke about it. If Choi decided to go with Yumi, he wouldn’t be able to get close to his brother again unless during special times when he was allowed to go over and see him. He’d be missing a part of himself and that possibility upset him, “It’s not the fact that he has a girl that’s bothering me, it’s like…well, like I’m missing a part of me”, he sighed, shaking his head, “Sorry, I shouldn’t assume you’d understand. Can’t say it’s something everyone would understand, after all”.

Giving Kabocha a quick look at the handsome comment, he shook his head slowly with disbelief, not exactly having any belief in that comment when servants of the King were often insulted for their terrible looks, plus it didn’t help when he was the exact same as Choi. Looking back up to Kabocha, he frowned at the girlfriend comment, “Hey! We’re very different! You’d get your own parents mixed up if they didn’t wear different clothes…”

Choi wasn’t feeling too confident to give Yumi the news about why he wasn’t mentioning giving Viral the room, looking back a moment at the mention of him. He didn’t know whether he was still alive either, something that would greatly upset Yumi if the Beastman’s body did actually give up, “Uhhh, I don’t know what’s going on with Viral right now, but the guy doesn’t seem like the type to take the best room just because it was open to him”, he spoke, smiling a little, “I think he wanted to use the machines in the ship anyway”.

Smiling a little as he closed the door after him, he stared at Yumi nervously just wondering what she was going to ask him. He was pretty worried that it’d be something she found out about him that was pretty embarrassing, even though he couldn’t think of anything that possibly was. Staring at her intently, he smiled nervously before he looked away, rubbing the back of his neck as his cheeks went red. He was pretty happy right now, showing he was just a little bashful over what she was saying, “Oh, yeah…they’re pretty similar, huh?” he spoke, chuckling a little before he looked back at her, his heart jumping a bit at the next thing she said.

He didn’t know how to react to that, it was definitely a first for him and immediately he felt panic build up in him. If he screwed this up by saying the wrong thing then that was it for this opportunity, his feet nervously shifting as he fought for the right words to say, “M-More?? Woah! Ooh uhh, yeah! Sure! I-I mean uhh, yeah…yeah, it would be really nice…” He had never experienced something like this before, it had all happened so quick and even if it didn’t work out in the end he’d be pretty focused on keeping her happy no matter what. In fact, he didn’t know what would happen in the future, but this was definitely something he had to make feel worthwhile, “Even if we got off to a bad start…I think that was more misunderstandings than anything; I mean…being enslaved all your life, it would make you almost a mirror of your master until you see through it, right? I shouldn’t had taken up that role in the first place, anyway…I’m sorry about what happened”.

T’charrl felt a little bad that he couldn’t guide Shu around the ship using the plates on the wall, his problem coming directly from the fact that he couldn’t read their language. It should had been something he learned when he was growing up after first learning about the aliens from beyond and recently when some came to their planet before the energy of their planet told them to back off. Giving a little nervous smile when Shu looked up to him, he let out a sigh and looked away, rubbing the fur of his neck slowly. While he could do with a rest, the thought of going off for a sleep while Shu’s energy levels still seemed high meant the kid would be left on his own.

Shu tilted his head a little when the response seemed a little delayed, not feeling too sure whether he was using the scouter correctly. When Takeshi suddenly spoke on the other side he got pretty excited, bouncing on his feet and looking up to T’Charrl who leaned in to try and listen to it, “Everyone else left to go to rooms but we’re not tired and don’t know what rooms to take”, he spoke quickly, giving his stomach a quick scratch, “We can’t read the writing either, so…umm…”

When Takeshi responded yet again, he listened intently and gave a quick look behind, his eyes going to T’charrl who was right down listening into it. Getting all excited again he bounced on his feet a little, only to be picked up by T’charrl to stop him from his momentary vibrating, “Okay! We’ll find it! We’ll be there quickly!” he spoke quickly, taking his finger off the button and holding onto T’charrl instead, “We get to go see Takeshi! Friend T’charrl, let’s go yes?”

T’charrl nodded, hearing the directions on the other side. If he had a method to wear those scouters he’d probably do well when it came to trying to understand another alien; maybe he could have one made for him, after all he did sort of have ears underneath his fur even if they were a lot smaller and less fleshier than their ears. Turning around, he began to walk on back the way they came, letting out a sigh and shaking his wings a little, “I really wonder how easy it will be to learn your language…”
Kai frowned at Kabocha a little; the guy really didn’t know how twins were or how genetics worked, “Choi has the exact same genes and genetic makeup, what do you think?” he sighed, giving him a quick shake of the head, “We just don’t have the same personality, of course…” It was a little embarrassing, being thought of as a clone rather than still being individuals who shared the same genes. Frowning, he looked to Kabocha when he put his arm around him, looking down at his chest. Feeling a little annoyed, he looked to him with a frown, “How very encouraging”, he grumbled, letting out a sigh, “It’s still no secret that you’re pretty terrible at getting girls too, so I have no idea how you’re supposed to help me get good with girls when you can’t even woo them”.

Kai didn’t really know or care whether Vegeta was preoccupied, but it was still a fact that the guy didn’t actually show any real emotion on the call. He didn’t really understand Earthlings that much, especially considering if somebody in their society heard that their battle partner was possibly close to death they’d be showing some sort of emotion over the communicator, “Still, you’d think he’d at least go ‘oh’ or something, but nope; he was just all ‘well he’s in the tank so whatever’”, he spoke, shrugging a little. He didn’t know what he was supposed to make of the man, whether he had any care for the Beastman; then again, Viral was a pain in the neck with his moaning and problems, it was a wonder that they hadn’t just put him into a coma and messed around with his brain to fix him up.

Looking to Kabocha at the mention of Choi, he glared at him as he watched him wander in his path, continuing to walk even though he was currently facing him. Already peeved off by what he was saying, he stepped over the line a little, “Don’t say that! And don’t assume I’ll be able to tell just because we’re twins!” he spoke quickly, becoming flustered, “I won’t get jealous…he’s my brother! He deserves to be happy, even without me if he wishes! If he wants a girl then he’s allowed a girl. Why? Does my solitude amuse you? The fact that I’ll be lonely makes you feel happy enough to joke about it?”

Choi gave a quick nod, pressing his fingers together, “I don’t know, don’t you think you deserve it? I mean, you were locked up by the King and you now have cute fuzzy ears”, he spoke, smiling a little, “You deserve some sort of relaxation, you know?” While he didn’t mean to exclude the others that had suffered, he still felt that Yumi deserved at least something and she’d probably like some privacy too. Watching her as she gave Shu a little bit of reassurance, he soon looked around and gave a little scratch of his head before he looked back to Yumi when she had finished with him, giving a little nod before he gasped when he was taken by the hand and pulled off down the corridor.

This was a really nice feeling inside him, smiling widely as he was dragged away by her. He didn’t know how to feel about this, but it definitely felt nice and he was pretty happy about it. Staring at her hand the entire way, he looked back a little with curiosity as his father went to take a room. Deciding to move forward quickly, he moved with her over to a door, pressing on the button to open it up, “We can go in here”, he nodded, entering the door with her. He didn’t know what she wanted to talk about, but he was eager to find out.

Shu didn’t know how to feel right now and while he had been comforted by Yumi about it, he still felt pretty lonely. Everyone was spread throughout the ship and when looking up to T’charrl it was evident that he was feeling lonely too. They were just two lonely and lost kids at this point in a large ship and out of their comfort zones. Watching as Yumi wandered off with one of the twins, he looked up to T’charrl before he pressed on his scouter, not quite sure how it worked, “Takeshi…? I don’t know how to use this…but can friend T’charrl and I find you? We're lost...”
Kai was more focused on completing his job right now, not feeling overly confident on what he needed to do to fit into this group. He knew how to act like a soldier and he knew how to act like a cook, but quite frankly he didn’t want to cook as a job and there was no way he knew what they were planning on doing with him in this group in regards to fighting and whether he would be taking orders. The most he could do to feel comfortable was doing favours for the others for the others. Once he had gotten in touch with Vegeta and retrieved food for Takeshi, his plans on what he was going to do next were a little confusing to say the least.

Giving Kabocha an angry look when he spoke, gasping a little when he was slapped on the back, “Hey! Don’t you bother with that nonsense! Wouldn’t you think Choi would be too if I was anyway, you idiot?” he spoke, keeping his hand to his scouter, “Even if I was, you’re too ugly for someone as handsome as me. I just can’t stand crowds when it comes to a ton of women”. He thought it would be nice to find a girl and have some children, but it probably wasn’t going to happen with him just because of his own natural instincts were to go out and fight all the time.

When Vegeta finally called back, Kai was expecting something a little more than what he got back to say the least. He didn’t sound too fussed by it, but instead sounded like a task that needed to be done and it was time to move on. Giving Kabocha a quick look, he slowly looked around before he sighed, “Well okay then, whatever”, he spoke, shrugging a little, “Takeshi is staying there for now, just get the ship moving and cut off its tracker and we’ll be fine”. It was a little odd that he showed no concern for his friend, but whatever to that as he looked to Kabocha, “Well that was easy. See where dibs can get you? He wasn’t even concerned”, he spoke before grinning, “Now you have to deal with the crazy girl, you ain’t dragging my brother into this either”.

While Choi did have that urge to ask her if she wanted to bunk with him, he knew right away that his brother and father would get suspicious. It was a little sad, he was so confused and yet was definitely enjoying Yumi’s company with his preference pointing him in that direction first. Giving a little nod he looked up the hallway, smiling a little before looking back to her, “You could take the Captain’s room, then”, he said quickly, giving her a quick thumbs up, “It’s the best room in the ship and it’s completely private with a washroom and everything, just the thing for someone like you to catch a break in”. Watching as Yumi stepped closer, he gasped a little when she bumped his shoulder, leaning towards her before he smiled, “Ooh? Uhhh, s-sure! Umm”, he paused, looking back to the others as he walked onwards, “Father, mind finding a room for three? There’s one with bunkbeds!”

Shu stared at the others as they spoke, not finding it too involving when they seemed to be talking about complicated stuff involving sleeping and where people would be going. He didn’t know where he would go, he didn’t even know if anybody wanted to sleep in a room with him. Pressing his fingers together, he did kind of hope that Yumi would want to go into a room with him, but turned out she wanted one to herself and was getting one. Smiling a little nervously, he looked up and around himself, feeling a little enclosed in the large corridor, “…Maybe Takeshi will bunk with me”, he muttered, giving a little nod before he looked up to T’charrl, “Where are you going to sleep? Maybe with Takeshi and me…?”

T’charrl didn’t have a clue what he was supposed to do, he didn’t know this entire process and it was a little worrying for him. He worried about the others being around him most of all and he didn’t know if he might end up waking up and disrupting them with a flash of energy or something similar. He was a little worried, all sorts of strange things tend to happen when he’s asleep so he always preferred his own room incase others could see, “Umm…maybe not. I mean, it’s not that I don’t want to! Uhhh, it’s just that…I shouldn’t risk it. Besides, we Kaesstrians don’t need to sleep much unless we want to. We only need to sleep every two days or so…”
Kai shook his head quickly, “I called dibs and that gives me first say in this whole mess”, he spoke quickly, giving a quick nod, “You should had been faster with that, otherwise maybe you would had been able to spare yourself the grief later”. Kai had fair dodged a bullet on that one, especially when Yumi seemed to be more hot-headed than kind to him; Choi had managed to get close enough to her, but she’d know the difference between him and his brother and might just get hostile with him. Giving a side glance to Kabocha have gave a little shrug, feeling a little lost with that question, “I’d ask that same question if I knew where ‘this’ is”, he spoke, rubbing his neck, “You were educated, just what kind of worlds are there?”

Giving Kabocha an odd look when he mentioned women, he raised an eyebrow before letting out a sigh, “C’mon man, you know my experience with women is zero! I’d probably have a panic attack around two hot women nevermind a ton of them”, he spoke, shrugging a little, “Are you trying to kill me? Besides, being a twin is pretty complicated. Choi may act like he wants Yumi, but us being away from each other for too long is like splitting your soul in half. You can take all the woman you want, but for me…well, I don’t know what I want”.

Letting out a sigh he pressed on his scouter a couple of times, figuring it was about time he got in contact with Vegeta. The guy shouldn’t be too busy now, it was about time to tell him that his little project wasn’t going too well, “Vegeta? It’s Kai; I’ve got some good news and some bad news for you regarding your Beastman, Viral”, he spoke, giving Kabocha a quick look before he looked away again, “Good news is we got him to the healing tank, all hooked up and what not…but, bad news is he nearly died on the way there and we don’t know why. Internal bleeding of some kind, maybe you want to check him out on the computers?”

Choi smiled a little at Yumi but quickly turned towards Gobo, looking over him as if he was being told off. He didn’t know what he was protesting about, he didn’t need to come along and could find somewhere to live that way too. Giving Yumi a quick look again, when Mizuna suddenly spoke up he jumped a little and backed off a little, scratching his chest, “Uhhh…” he went to speak up but was quickly cut off by Yumi, giving her a nervous smile before slowly backing off, not feeling completely sure how he was supposed to stop Mizuna from confronting Yumi.

Looking between the pair, he let out a sigh when Gobo decided to step in first. Slowly moving towards Yumi he rubbed his neck, feeling a little responsible for it all of it, “Ehh, uhh…all the rooms are right here…so…” he mumbled, smiling a little as things seemed to settle down. At least those two seemed good together with them being husband and wife, otherwise that would have never worked out, “Pick what one you wish…”

At least now they were heading for a room and leaving them all alone, Choi looking to Yumi and smiled a little. He didn’t think Yumi had any real need to apologise, but if it made her feel better he wasn’t going to stop her. Snorting a little, he wiped his nose before looking up the hall and back, shrugging a little, “Sure! Uhh I mean, there’s plenty if you want to be by yourself or with someone else…” he spoke, giving a quick look to T’charrl, Shu and his father, “Uhh, that is if you want the single room…? There’s plenty of rooms, but unless you want to share a room with someone. I’ll uhh, probably go in a room with Kai and my father…”
Kai stared at Takeshi, frowning a little at his comment. That was probably one of the things the King tried to obtain from Viral during his experimentation stages but probably couldn’t, but whether all that experimenting had worn out whatever the Beastman’s lifespan relied on was definitely something to be concerned about. Maybe it would be a pretty good thing to get him some scientific attention too now that they had equipment to do it. If anything, Kai was more afraid of the ex-Commander waking up and sporting brain damage, turning into a killer and using those freaky arms to rip them all apart.

Kai gave Takeshi’s food suggestion a quick nod, giving him a little wave as he moved to the door, “Sure, just don’t get food in the tank once we bring some down. Just hopefully your friend has gotten this ship flying because I’d hate to go to the food hall and find a bunch of Saiyans in there. They can’t party all the time, you know”, he spoke, looking to Kabocha, “If that happens, you’re taking the lead on getting rid of them. I ain’t going near no bunch of soldiers without my brother, okay?”

Walking on out after Kabocha, he gave one look back before letting out a sigh, moving along with Kabocha, “I bugsy telling Vegeta that we got him in the healing tank. You can tell Yumi”, he spoke quickly, raising his hand, “There’s no way I’m telling her what happened and I doubt Choi would either, seeing as how completely gaga he is over her…” It was a bit of a hit and miss when trying to figure out what he should say to Vegeta. He knew what to ask him, but to describe what happened to Viral was a little confusing to him. He couldn’t really describe what it was, whether it was a fit or a haemorrhage of some kind.

Choi snickered a little, scratching his cheek, “I know, right? Somehow I can’t say I pity him”, he chuckled a little, giving her a little nudge, “Don’t tell him I said that, though”. While it was funny talking about things like that, he couldn’t say it was giving him a good feeling knowing what Kabocha might do if he found out he was talking about his parents. Letting out a sigh, he lowered his head for a moment before peaking up again, bouncing on over to a sign on the wall, “Oh! This might help”, he spoke, giving a quick point to the sign and to various parts of the ship, “I guess it’s easier to say you can go left to get to the food and right to get to the beds”.

Choi was feeling pretty proud, being able to lead a bunch of people to where they needed to go so long as the ship was safe and moving. He wasn’t really good at reading, but recognising symbols was definitely something he could be proud with and feel happy about. Smiling, he soon ran off to the right before stopping again, nodding a little, “I hope nobody fights over where they’re sleeping…because that’d be really awkward when there are a lot of beds here. It’s a flying fortress! Neat, huh?” he nodded, smiling, “There’s rooms ranging from having about twelve beds all the way up to one where the Captain of the vessel would sleep, the bed quality getting better as it goes along but still comfy. Maybe the ones with the many beds would be better if we ever saved anyone and transported them…that’d be cool…saving people…instead of blowing them to bits…”
Kai raised an eyebrow before going back to what he needed to do to save the Beastman, seeing as how he looked fairly close to death right now. He couldn’t tell whether he was still alive or whether that was it for Viral, but he wasn’t looking at him enough to give him a check, “Maybe it was the monster, other than that he is artificial and who knows how long his lifespan is…” he sighed, pressing a few buttons on the monitor to get it running, “I don’t know much about science, but isn’t there a reason artificial beings are often…you know, ‘experiments’?”

There were many a time when he heard Viral speak out of depression that he was going to die soon and why they shouldn’t bother helping him, but he didn’t know whether this was because he had a short lifespan or it was just his PTSD messing with his emotions. Kai wasn’t a psychiatrist, he couldn’t analyse words or emotions all that well but that’s what it sounded like to him. Hopefully there was no dying that was going to happen anytime soon, nobody needed that when they had gone through so much trouble.

Waiting until Takeshi had managed to hook up Viral, he looked between them as if trying to judge the possibility of movement from the Beastman before moving away from the monitor. If Viral was dead then the tank wouldn’t had switched on, so that was a positive start. Letting out a sigh he walked over to Takeshi, folding his arms. It would be a good time to get some rest, but leaving Takeshi by himself with Viral seemed a bit unfair, “You sure? Choi is with our father now”, he spoke, shrugging, “But fine. I’ll activate the cleaner bot to get rid of the mess in the hall. You want some food sent down instead?”

Choi slowly rubbed his chest as he tried to breathe a bit more, just to calm himself down. Smiling at Yumi, he nodded quickly before shrugging, “Yeah, it was nothing! Just uhhh…I don’t know, like finding a bug in your drink and you’re all ‘eww!’ but you want to drink it anyway, so you have to remove it before everything works out”, he spoke quickly, laughing nervously. He didn’t want to create fear among the group, but giving a quick wave to T’charrl he realised he might be upset over the bug reference after being told what a bug was before.

Giving his chin a scratch as he walked, he looked to Yumi curiously when she pushed him, smiling at first before looking confused, “Really…?” He wished he had s’mores, whatever those were; it sounded like a type of alien to him, probably pretty tasty. Feeling pretty curious, he looked to Kabocha’s parents before back to her, grinning a little, “You know, I’ve wondered that ever since I heard the guy had actual parents. Saiyans only stay together if they feel compassion towards each other”, he spoke lowly, slowly moving closer towards Yumi, “…You know, I heard they get really passionate when they’re fed, so you might want to watch out for that. I heard Kabocha is totally scarred because of that…”
Kai didn’t know what was happening but with Viral on the floor leaking blood out of his face, looking awfully close to simply giving up and dying. In a moment of hesitation Kai stepped back, watching as his brother quickly took off when Yumi came in to call just so he wouldn’t need to deal with this; while it was probably a lot deeper than that, the fact of the matter was that Choi had buggered off at the first moment he could. He could hardly blame him, this was a little worrying and he didn’t know what to do to help while all it looked like what was happening was the Beastman was finally going to kick the bucket like he always wanted.

“Has he done this before??” Kai asked up, moving around them as both Kabocha and Takeshi went to pick up Viral, keeping away from the blood, “Either way, I’ve never seen something like that, unless he got punched in the gut by that thing?” There was a high possibility that he had damaged his insides after they had been healed, but they wouldn’t know what was happening until they got him into the machine and ran a diagnostics check on him. He would have to simply go in as he was at this point and get hooked up immediately, but if there was one thing he hoped it was that Choi didn’t let Yumi know about this. She would just end up rushing down and put everyone into a panic with that demanding attitude of hers.

Moving on a little further, he looked between the doors and looked at each of them, eventually finding the medical room with the right machine to heal Viral. Looking over the door’s panel, he contemplated a moment before pushing the open button, watching as it slid open before he walked in, holding the door open, “Should we tell your friend? He was the one with him and that creature, so maybe he could say what he saw happen?” he asked up, looking to Viral, “He’ll need to get his vitals hooked up and that…’breathing thing’ on before we can activate the machine”.

Choi was feeling a little flustered, but maybe things would get better once Yumi was in his presence and no blood just happened to be leaking from her face. The only thing he could associate that with was death, so it was definitely something he didn’t want to be around when all it did was remind him of the slow deaths during battles. Hurrying along, he soon found himself at the hanger, looking around quickly before spotting the others with Yumi. Hurrying along towards her, he looked back for a moment before he let out a sigh as he came to a halt.

It appeared everyone was gathered apart from the obvious ones who were still missing, his eyes going to his father before to Yumi, “Uhhh, I’m here! If that wasn’t obvious…” he spoke, giving a quick look to T’charrl and Shu. The big bug was essentially holding onto Shu as they stood, the kid must had still been having head problems so finding a room where he could find a few spare pillows would probably be good, his mind going to the rooms for the higher ranks; it would probably keep Kabocha’s parents happy too, then again they barely seemed happy with anything, “Uhh, c’mon, this way”, he sighed, hurrying along a little before slowing down again, “So uhh, we dealt with the nasty thing; it was nothing! Don’t suppose you guys had more fun, huh?”
