Viral was feeling pretty annoyed, he didn’t even like being referred to as human and she knew that just as much as the fact that he called himself a Beastman instead. It made him a little bummed out that he didn’t have much of an identity of his own, but at least Yumi was trying to go about it in her own apologetic way while also still calling him more human than anything he was made of. He’d show her that he wasn’t and shouldn’t be considered a human, even if it meant he would have to advance his powers to do that. He knew he had a lot of potential in him, he just didn’t know what or how he was supposed to bring that out with his mentality bringing him down. Everything counted on his mind functioning correctly and with the constant tiredness and aching yet sickening hunger, it was going to take a while for any power to show itself.

“Animals can raise children, all in their own way! You know as well as Takeshi does that Shu was raised by beasts considering how the child acts”, he spoke defensively, “Oozaru is completely natural, even if his is mostly dwarfed and reeks of monkey, we have yet to see what that bug is like…but why do I not know what I turn into? The entire time I’ve been able to change into that and I don’t even know what it is, they know what their problem is! I bet if you found out you could change into a big cat you would call yourself a monster”. She was terribly naïve with the subject, but then again he was just as clueless and needed to find answers himself and just why he turned into a giant lizard creature with an intense bloodlust.

Letting out a low grumble as he backed off a little more, he stared at her before he let out a huff, folding his arms. She really didn’t understand animals from the sounds of it, such a shame too considering she had animal genes mixed with hers now too. He was just moody now with these thoughts, his mind not finding any real calm as she continued to dig a deeper hole for herself, “No, you wouldn’t try to help me, but you still question my morals and grew up with me so you still have an uneasy yet biased point of view. Everyone else who meets me calls me out for what I am, so just accept it as I have as the truth. Now…should we keep going on this wild goose chase or have I made you too fed up to continue…”

Shu and T’charrl both didn’t know what they were supposed to be doing right now, everything was just left to them and with the two not being very good at being independent it left them at a bit of a downward cliff-face where all they could do was look down and wonder where they were going now. Wandering around on the plateau was all they could really do with T’charrl watching Shu from a distance as he too felt unsure to what he was supposed to be looking for. He could see really far off the edge of the plateau, the scenery beautiful in its own little way with the primitive life blossoming before his eyes, all while Shu bounced around and sniffed to try and find something useful or edible.

There were a lot of rocks and plant life, which was about it. Shu was trying to have as much fun with it as he could without making himself dizzy and keeping low to the ground was fair working in his favour. Wandering around and sniffing about, he looked around calmly with some level of curiosity to what smells he was picking up. He didn’t know how to identify them, he wasn’t sure what was in this world either to try and decide whether the smells were creatures or just his own mixed in with the plant life. Slowly moving around before bouncing, he jumped around to try and speed up his searching; however, with one quick bounce off towards a mass of grass, the grass ate him up and he fell straight through it, letting out a strange mix of excited and scared squeal as he slid all the way down this sudden hole, raising his arms above his head before he came to a stop in the strange unknown.

T’charrl was searching on his own by the time he heard Shu let out that strange noise, only for him to immediately turn around and see him disappear into the ground, “Ah! Shu!” he gasped, immediately jumping over to it with a great spring before trying to force himself down the hole. Almost immediately upon trying to get down the hole, his shoulders got stuck leaving only his head and one arm reaching down into the hole. It was tight and even with his lanky arms he couldn’t reach, the grass preventing him from getting down the hole, “Shu! Shu?? Where’d you go??” he asked out only to push himself out of the hole, banging his claw against his scouter to try and make it work, “Takeshi?? Hey! I wasn’t told how this works!”
Shu didn’t know why Takeshi had chosen to settle on here, but he was happy enough to go along with it and put his faith in Takeshi, even if it is a little concerning considering his head injury. Feeling fairly faithful in Takeshi’s direction, he slowly slid off his back and brushed at his tail down a little bit, “I hope they’re not tiny and that we’ve not been stepping on them, then again if you’re tiny maybe you might be really strong…” he spoke, looking down at the ground for a moment before back up to Takeshi, “I’ll be careful, I swear! I don’t want to fall off cause that will really hurt and it will really hurt, I’m sure. I can’t help but think we shouldn’t be here, though”.

It was that moment where it was just difficult to guess whether there really was life on this planet. Shu did hear T’charrl saying there was life on this planet, but he didn’t know whether he was talking about the plants or something. Looking around, it was difficult to say what lived here and just how many different species lived on this planet. It could easily be a planet that was just full of plants, but if Saiyans were here then there had to be more. Then there was wherever this creature might had come from or even what they looked like, if they even came from here at all. Frowning a little at that thought, he looked to Takeshi when he spoke, giving a little smile and a nod, “Okay! I’ll be careful! Be quick”, he nodded, turning a little when Takeshi decided to bounce away. Letting out a sigh, he turned to T’charrl, making a little run towards him, “I don’t want to find a monster by myself, it’s not nice to be sneaky-sneak around me, you see…”

Viral wasn’t sure what he should be feeling about this right now, her words not really bringing any sort of clarity to him or any signs of what might be considered positive to the conversation. She seemed pretty stuck and was just telling him everything that he already knew and it was a little discouraging to hear it all again. It meant he was failing still, he couldn’t find any way to win either. First they wanted to leave him alone, now they’re pretty concerned with keeping close to him and making sure he wasn’t going to go anywhere by himself. Just what did they know about what he might potentially do to himself when he was alone, he could even had been happier by himself.

Feeling a little spaced out, he looked back to Yumi when she began to talk again, her words only confusing him. Just what was she on about with that, her words only proving to make him feel a little insecure when it came to his genetic make-up. He had tried to prove a point about his genetics and how she seemed to think being animalistic meant being a monster, supporting his claim that he should be regarded as one if that was the case. She was turning it on its head completely, resulting in him feeling uneasy about his genetics. She must had thought all animals were inferior to humans because they had different mannerisms and different ways of living, trying to give him reassurance that he wasn’t like that.

Listening to her go on, his expression changed when she called him part-human, even going on to suggest he might have some Saiyan within him. He couldn’t help but feel insulted by that, even when it was obvious that he was human-like. All that just meant that his animal genes didn’t matter as much as being human, her little speech trying to make them sound better than the beasts. Looking to his paw and lifting it slightly, looking to her one last time before he moved to stand up, “Are you saying animals don’t have emotions and feelings too? That they don’t think about what they do and have no mind of their own?” he spoke, staring at her as he backed off, “Don’t think of me as human…I am not one! Animals have just as much of a right as you have…if not more! Daring to refer to them as monstrous just because you don’t understand them…just what do you take them for? I was the one who fought the creature, you didn’t see it! You didn’t see what it was like or how it moved! It was no different to how I fight…how I move! How I act when I’m transformed…and you still think it’s any different?”
The travelling wasn’t the worst part of the trip, but the lack of life anywhere was just a little eerie. T’charrl didn’t have any problems with that, he figured there was a lot of a difference when compared to his own planet. There was a lot of plant life, at least, so there had to be life elsewhere. There could had been a lot of them underground and they were just not seeing them. Watching the ground pass by him down below him, he swayed in the air as he flew along, trying to take in the detail of the plants just out of interest. The planet had its own sort of glory to it, seeing the plant life in such a little primitive manner made him happy knowing that the planet was growing and just what the first stages of life were like.

Spinning through the air a few times, he enjoyed feeling the wind beneath his wings. He didn’t get to fly very often on the surface of his own world; his people would be brought under attack if they were allowed to fly up high and above the trees. It was wonderful, but he truly believed he would get in trouble if he tried to do this on his home planet. Spinning around before flying down low, he stared at the scenery before noticing Takeshi was soon coming to a stop. Watching himself as he slowly lowered to the ground, he shook his wings a little before folding them back up, giving Shu and Takeshi a smile as they touched down.

Shu had enjoyed the ride, waving his arms around sometimes and squealing as they flew along. He didn’t care that he felt dizzy sometimes, he was definitely enjoying this and was having a great time flying around with his brother and friend. Keeping a good grip on Takeshi when he needed to, he watched as Takeshi lowered down to the ground, his eyes on the grass the whole time before he was bounced, letting out a playful squeal when he was. He was enjoying himself at least, his eyes searching the area before he looked to Takeshi, “Okay! I’ll help, I want to look around and sniff around and look for things! Maybe life is really tiny?”

Viral was a little annoyed by Yumi’s words, especially when they were fine enough with doing that all the other times. He was left outside alone a lot of the times when he was on the bug’s planet, they didn’t have so much of a concern even when they were told about what he apparently had. He would had been fine enough on his own, even with the Saiyans capturing him when he was weakened. They were all so confusing, probably that human in them that was sparking up such thoughts and reactions like that. They were all crazy, anyone else would had just left him alone and let him chart his own course after this entire run of unstable mentality, “You were all fine enough before today with leaving me alone. It’s just an excuse to try and feel useful…”

Going home and lazing around was definitely out of the question, he really didn’t know why anyone would think he’d want to do that when he had been kept within the Capsule Corp’s grounds for all his life. All of that was most likely due to instruction left by his creators to keep him away from the RRA, but it still meant he was confined and easily had grown sick of humans and their antics. He still wasn’t convinced that there was good in most of humanity, they were all so afraid of what was new and generally everything made them angry and want to go to war with each other or grab as much as possible just so they could have more. Grumbling at her suggestions, he gave his clasped paw a staring at before he looked away in annoyance, only being reminded of the Saiyan twin, “…Alright, if you say so. I’ll try to believe you”, he mumbled, giving her a quick look back, “You should learn the meaning of monster before you claim someone is not only to say something that only shows animal-like instincts is. Just what do you think I’m made of and what I do…? Is it any better than the creature that you did not see?”
T’charrl looked between the two before he gave a little nod, smiling at Takeshi. He hoped it would be because of them that he’d find control any maybe even be able to reverse what he had done to himself, but that would have to be something he’d have to see in the future. It was especially worrying to have little practice with it when he’d sometimes spend entire hours out of his busy day to solely practice on his abilities and talk to his great grandmother. Without being on his planet, he had no connection to her and her spirit was probably wandering around trying to listen out for hints as to where he went. Feeling the want as well as the need to get back to his former body, he let out a sigh and looked elsewhere, just wondering where they were heading, “I have no idea what direction my power is heading in, so it would definitely be very nice to get back to normal”, he sighed, looking back, “I already practiced a lot before, so it shouldn’t be too different…I hope. I just fear I won’t get myself under control before I have to head back home”.

Shu looked to T’charrl curiously, tilting his head a little. He was worried that his friend would get discouraged upon seeing them have their own powers down and controlled, the alien possibly feeling sad that he might be having a tough time getting controlled. Feeling fairly confident in his friend, he smiled and looked back to Takeshi, squealing as he was raised into the air as he took hold of his brother. Feeling a little confused as to why Takeshi would even mention his head being knocked off when it couldn’t be, he held onto his brother’s shoulders and peered over him, “Ooh, I wouldn’t like that! Please don’t crash, okay?” he nodded before they flew off and away. T’charrl was quick to take to the air and fly off after them, keeping at a fair pace. Shu didn’t know where they were heading, but he did have a fair bit of excitement towards what the future may hold.

Viral felt like he was at an all-time low at this point in his life, confusing his imagination and nightmares for reality. He didn’t know what his life was at anymore, he was definitely worried for himself and others just for being around him. He could kill them without realising it, his mind completely losing its grip on reality. It was painful, his mind finding it difficult to focus even as Yumi knelt there and talked to him, “You should had left while you had the chance”, he grumbled, slowly giving his head a shake, “You’d think it would be okay if I did such a thing without meaning it, but that’s just repeating the same scenario as all those years passed!”

Viral was fed up with himself, he wasn’t even depressed at this point but rather confused an angry. He wanted to put it all aside, but further maddening moments would only drag him down further and every step was closer and closer towards insanity. As Yumi slowly moved his paw from his face, he gave her an angry expression before looking away again, shaking his head, “I don’t know how you’re going to make this nightmare end. Who knows what I would even do after it! I barely know what is the point in all this and why I can’t find my mind again…”
T’charrl couldn’t help but feel as if he would rather be in the same situation as Shu and just have too much power where only a little training was needed to fix it. His power wasn’t found anywhere else apart from his planet, it seemed, and even then those who would have the power probably wouldn’t be in the same situation as him. He was quite worried a lot over his own abilities, so much so that it was difficult to concentrate on the life-changing aspects that were good such as being the first of his kind in space and possibly being hailed as a hero at the same time. Looking down at himself momentarily, he looked back to Takeshi, giving a little smile in return, “It’s because I’m with you and Shu that I can. Shu has been keeping me company too”, he spoke, giving a little nod, “So long as I remember myself, I won’t lost my mind to the power. I have a feeling that’s why it’s been so important that I learned control over the years”.

Shu looked to T’charrl and Takeshi, waving around a little as they spoke. He didn’t know why it was so important for T’charrl to remember things like that but he was glad he could help him, at least. Smiling away to himself, he swayed a little before Takeshi went back to talking to him, staring at him instead, “Why would she knock your head off? Can your head do that?” he questioned him, feeling a little confused by that before making a brief bounce around to Takeshi, “Okay! That would be fun! I like riding”, he spoke, raising his hands up to Takeshi, “Please? So long as I don’t fly off you then Yumi won’t get mad, right…?”

Viral’s temper was pretty high right now under his own doing, it wasn’t even Yumi who was making him mad but simply the confusion he was in that was making him angry. He couldn’t even focus clearly, he just wanted the problem to go away and for him to finally be able to get rid of these awful memories through one way or another. They could only hurt him further, he had to stop them and all he could do right now was fight back to the very end. His mind was fogged with negative energy and he was having a hard time recovering from it, Yumi’s reassurances only making the situation confusing to what they really meant to do with him.

If his memories were real, then why did they exist in his sleep too and just why did they insist on haunting him during these terrible times? They could had been planted in his mind to prevent him from turning into a killing machine, he didn’t know. Holding his head, he struggled for focus as Yumi talked as he soon took deeper breaths, slowly falling to one knee as Yumi moved away from him. There had to be some truth in that, she wouldn’t be telling it to him so sincerely either if that was the case. With his cat-like eyes struggling for focus, he eventually rubbed them with his fingers, letting out a groan, “…I can’t take this anymore, this…madness. I was going to kill you”, he spoke simply, lowering his tone, “I’m…sorry. If you say it’s so, then that’s it. This burning pain inside me, is it even real or just my imagination…”
Shu really wanted to learn how to use his Ki again, not to mention the thought of flying always made him really giddy. The closest he had gotten to flying in the past was leaping from tree to tree back when he was in the jungle. Back then, that was the closest any of his tribe could get to flying. It was wonderful, but he wished he had someone else who would do all that with him without falling and being unable to keep up. Takeshi didn’t seem too interested in trying to swing through the trees anymore. Reaching down to his feet and giving them a quick rub, he stared up at Takeshi and gave a little nod, smiling, “I’d like that very much! I don’t like it when the wind blows, I nearly fall over”, he spoke, looking down to the ground, “I go all wobbly and get worried I’ll fall on my tail”.

T’charrl got feeling pretty embarrassed after what Takeshi said, raising his hands to his face and looking away. The whole being the first to go into space was true, he was standing on foreign soil just now and the air was definitely different to what was on his own planet, but to have control over energy like that still managed to bring in some jealous thoughts, “Ohhhh, I guess so. I just wish I could control them too”, he spoke, smiling a little, “You have no idea what I have to do to keep them in check for now, but at least I can do that all silently…”

Shu didn’t know what T’charrl meant by that, but he was still fairly confident that T’charrl’s abilities weren’t a danger to them right now and that made him quite happy seeing his control. Giving a little nod, his attention soon turned to Takeshi as he spoke, tilting his head a little before giving a quick stare at the ground, “I don’t know, going up like that was a little scary”, he spoke, looking back up, “Maybe we should find the people here and then after that we practice flying…? I mean, we are supposed to be doing something important and if we come back and don’t find anything, won’t they all be mad at us?”

Viral didn’t know why Yumi was saying all of this, he didn’t even know why she was so close to him either. If there was any way to ambush someone while he was caught unaware it was definitely through this embrace, taking his weapon and slicing his jugular with it. He didn’t know if he could trust her being so close to him, saying all these strange things to him that could only further confuse him. She could only be against him, after all that she said and even trying to warn him against do what he saw was right, he still was in danger of being betrayed by everyone. He just couldn’t contain his negative emotions and it was stressing him out, he didn’t know what he was supposed to do when it all sounded as if someone he thought was supposed to be his support.

With his head feeling as if it could explode with all this stress, Yumi speaking to him could only bring in an odd amount of stress as he tried to make sense of it all. He was not in a good place, he could barely control himself and all of this was definitely making it worse for him to make sense of the world, “Do those who are enslaved deserve to be killed, or do they await death? I could be toyed around with…” he spoke with a growl, holding his head still. He didn’t know what to believe, he was definitely struggling and it was all becoming way too difficult to hold onto his beliefs, especially after everything was said and done. As she continued to talk to him, halting his thought pattern when she spoke of her feelings towards him. He found that very hard to cope with, it all bringing in so many conflictions to his beliefs that he could only give up on the struggle, lowering his head, “My memories could be false, I don’t know if I ever did that…” he spoke lowly, slowly rubbing his forehead with his paw, “How am I supposed to cope with this…? This-…this…whatever it is! I could feel something inside me trying to tell me to kill you if you got close, yet you still managed…”

Shu didn’t expect to be going flying on up into the air like that and squealed when he did, only to drop right back down and into Takeshi’s arms. He didn’t know if he actually flew or just blasted himself into the air with a blast from his feet; either way, he was back down again and safe with Takeshi. Feeling a little edgy, he looked around quickly before up to Takeshi, smiling nervously as he was placed back down on his feet. He did hope he hadn’t done anything wrong, his eyes going to where he was standing before to make sure nothing bad had happened. Smiling a little, he shifted his feet, “…Maybe, I don’t even know if I’ve grown stronger or if I’m just really bad at it because I lost a lot of weight…”

T’charrl was confused by all of this, but found it slightly surprising that Shu had managed to shoot up like that as if he had just been blasted into the air. Snickering a little, he soon let out a sigh as he stopped himself, simply smiling as he landed himself back onto the ground. Saiyans were so odd along with this concept of Ki. He had never seen Ki in action properly until recently and seeing it under such control was normal for him; however, this was completely out of control and quite cute at the same time. Scratching his fur down a little bit he turned around, looking for any signs of life, “That’s still more control than what I have sometimes. I can get jealous over it quite easily too”, he spoke, nodding a little, “I’ve always been jealous over other people’s abilities because I could never do anything properly myself. I was a bit of a joke amongst the soldiers because I got into trouble so much…”

Viral couldn’t help himself, he had no idea how to deal with such revelations and all of this accusations and talk that monsters deserved to be culled was just the lowest point that could be reached. Everything he had done would label him as one of these monsters, no matter whether Yumi tried to hide that fact or not. It was all making sense to him, all despite their reassurances that they weren’t going to hurt him he still couldn’t stop the paranoia from getting to him and damaging his mind with poisonous thoughts. It was all pushing in bad thoughts into his mind, his brain searing with ill memories from his torture. Getting stressed out with the situation he growled at Yumi, moving back a step, “It’s only logical that you would, that you would…you would destroy me out here and now”, he spoke lowly, shaking his head slowly as he averted his gaze, “You shouldn’t need to care…you shouldn’t! They all must be eradicated, so why not start with the one closest to you!”

Viral was conflicted and confused, he didn’t know what to think and everything was just telling him that she wanted to kill him and that was the end of it all. He was a true monster, one that would remain hidden until the time was right and he would end up destroying everyone. Feeling utterly confused and conflicted by all these thoughts and memories, he barely noticed Yumi coming towards him and ending up hugging him, his heart jumping when she touched him. His eyes immediately turning down at her, he felt he couldn’t move as she had a fairly good grasp on her, too cowardly to push her off him. Glaring down at her with confused eyes, he struggled for control over his own nerves before he raised a hand, rubbing his head slowly, “That beast did nothing bad compared to what I did…and you still call it a monster without knowing what it even is! How can you justify that claim when I have done worse…” he groaned, shaking his head, “Stop caring for how I feel…and just do it if you’re going to! I’m sick of waiting, of this pain in my head. I can’t take it…”
