Shu didn’t know what he was supposed to do, he was probably just succeeding in making Takeshi confused above everything else. He really didn’t mean to, he just wanted to try and decide what was the best decision to make for his friends and their lives. If he could he would just get the information and immediately sort the problem out so everyone could be happy, but he didn’t even know what they were going to say to the person when they found them. They would probably be in trouble if they talked to them immediately without getting any true information as to why they should be talking to them in the first place. Listening to Takeshi when he mentioned Goku, he tried to imagine what he must had been like if he was ever scared of something but seeing what Goku was like when they first met, “Ohhh…I can’t imagine that…” he sighed, scratching his ribs, “But…I guess so…ohhh, it makes me feel so confused…” He had to just trust what Takeshi thought was best, he couldn’t make very good decisions and was just feeling worse the more he thought about it, “Maybe…but Mister Viral would get really annoyed and Vegeta doesn’t really like strangers. If he’s told us all we need to know, does he need to be where he is anymore…?”

Viral didn’t find any sort of enjoyment in talking down to Kabocha, his bitterness really had caught up with him and he was just tearing into Kabocha for the hell of it. Staring down at Kabocha as the kid got increasingly angry, he narrowed his gaze before letting out a grunt, “Just a thug then…and that’s supposed to make you sound a lot better than the others?” He spoke coldly, but when Kabocha began to get really angry he just continued to stare at him, letting him speak his angry words. There he was throwing out claims that he was only saying all this to make him feel better, but Viral just took it all in and hardly made a reaction until he stopped his yelling and actually let him speak, “Him? Hardly an exception, he shares the same thirst for blood like you do”, he spoke, hardly changing his expression, “And you should listen to yourself! First you make up excuses to not go to Earth, but now that I’m saying you definitely shouldn’t because you are trouble you are suddenly protesting? Then again, you want nothing more than to fight me, don’t you? You really want to beat me into a pulp, you’ve just been dying to do it since yesterday. Then why don’t you then? Is it because people are watching or because you’re desperately trying to fight against your true nature?”
Shu let out a sigh, drooping his head a little. He didn’t mean to ruin all the ideas, he was just trying to get this aching feeling off his chest. Everything just seemed like a bad idea right now, he’d be alright getting some food and seeing how things went from there as well if it had to be that way. Scratching the back of his neck, he frowned a little before looking back up to Takeshi as he spoke. He really did want to help his friend, he couldn’t stand the thought of letting him down when it was just a few steps away from either freedom or death, “…I do want to help him…” It was hard, maybe they should just keep going and see what happens and he would just have to deal with the stress like a grown up. Frowning a touch, he looked back to Takeshi at his suggestion, not quite sure what he should make of it, “Back…? Maybe…but then we’d be going backwards”, he sighed, scratching his ear, “Whatabout food…? Do we get some after…? What if going to the people goes badly because we relaxed with our friends? I’m kind of scared…”

Viral stared down at Kabocha as he spoke, his expression hardly changing as the kid tried to do some imposing himself. He would have to prove a lot to him if he was to ever hand over his trust to ever stay on Earth, but it wasn’t only that which was bugging him. Kabocha was a warrior at heart and they always sought to get stronger, the same with the twins but it was this guy who got on his nerves with his dirty looks and desire to fight or to start them. He was already a threat to him right now and that was the hardest part to admit, making him feel angry and sour towards him, “I didn’t see you not enjoying harming other people, now did I…?” Kabocha approaching him and coming ever so close was just raising the hostility meter with Viral, it was hard to believe the guy had any sort of self-awareness with how little he was defending his point. Hardly backing down, Viral stared at him as he spoke, hardly convinced, “Is that so…? How can that be when every Saiyan I’ve come across lusts for blood, even the little kid when pushed far enough. When you’re free, your only desire is to continue fighting. You’ll fight until your body is broken and weary all to get stronger…and for what? Do you fear those who are stronger than you like that damn King?”
Shu frowned at his brother’s words, but he knew he was trying to make him feel better. If the goal was to make him feel better, it wasn’t really working especially when he knew he could be sneaked up on by anyone with the knowhow. Letting out a brief sigh, he kept his eyes to the ground with a fair guilty feeling that he just ruined their plans. With the silence settling in and Shu only feeling guilty as a response, he looked elsewhere as Takeshi spoke again, playing with his finger for a moment before he looked back up at him, “Stay with him…? But…but I don’t know him very well”, he spoke, giving a little frown, “I’d feel nervous and you wanted to do things with me…and we have stuff to do…and it’s important stuff so it would be lazy of me to not do that! It’s not that I don’t like him, it’s just…I’m still really nervous around strangers and he was still a stranger…even if he was a little strange…”

Choi gave a quick nod before looking back to the house, feeling a little nervous about the Beastman being around in the open. There was nothing stopping the guy jumping on him for getting all friendly with Yumi, it was definitely a concern for him and his general health. Not quite noticing Vegeta and Kai come out of the house, he turned to face them quickly to see what either of them had to say about the matter and Yumi’s question only to get an unexpected reply in return. At first he didn’t believe they really had been talking about the same subject, but eventually he was curious when the subject took an odd turn. To live on Earth felt like a huge step, he barely knew what the place was like and not to mention in was in a system that was primitive and mostly barren. Feeling a little conflicted he scratched his hair, trying to think about it, “Uhhh well, I guess if Kai wants to…” he spoke, but sure enough Kabocha was quick to protest. It was odd, he had been hiding away for long enough but when it came to making decisions he just seemed to pop right back into the picture.

Viral had been trying to ignore everything that had been going on while he had been trying to find some quiet time of his own, it just seemed impossible whenever he tried. He had barely any energy to put up a fight and he was just feeling the annoyances of life coming to him all at once, especially when all he got was dirty looks and shifty glances. When Vegeta came out speaking about the Saiyan’s future possibility of living on Earth, he couldn’t help but turn a little but make no effort to get up himself. He couldn’t help feel angry at that idea, even if it meant they’d be relatively peaceful it still meant he would have competition over who was stronger. Trying his best to be forgotten about and ignore, he was soon dragged into the conversation by Kabocha much to his annoyance. Slowly getting up and moving slightly, he growled lowly before jumping off the roof, landing lightly on his feet, “I don’t want YOU there…I don’t care about those body-doubles”, he spoke coldly, approaching him, “You’re unstable and a menace, just like any other snobbish temper-driven kid. Since when are you good at making decisions like that, anyway…? Maybe it’s the only place to satisfy your bloodthirsty ways and you know it…”
Shu looked up at Takeshi and gave a struggled smile before he lowered his head again, letting out a little sigh. It was a fair struggle to feel happy right now, there was just so much riding on what they were doing and it was getting to him pretty bad. Feeling a little lost for words, he gave a little look when Takeshi spoke about something about a thing called a bike, but without even knowing what that was he felt a little lost. Scratching his ear a little as he gave a nod at Takeshi’s words, he felt a little enclosed when Takeshi came closer to him, staring at him in the eyes. Looking to Takeshi’s hand, he frowned a little and kept quiet, not looking fairly happy that he was having to reveal what was bothering him. He knew he had told Takeshi yesterday that he’d tell him if things were bothering him, but he wanted to see how everything would play out. Keeping his eyes off Takeshi, he rubbed his arm slowly, keeping his voice low, “…I’m just…scared of this going wrong”, he muttered, giving his head a little shake, “I had a dream and we saw the guy…even if he was different in real life…people found him when we went away and then he died and the others died and we all failed! I don’t want that to happen, it was scary…and almost real a-and now you think it’ll happen so now it will happen!”

Kai did wonder what the Earth was like with him only seeing what the city was like when trying to catch a strong human, he didn’t know what it was like completely but obviously fine enough for Saiyans to live there considering what Vegeta told him about others living there before. Giving his back a scratch, he looked away from Vegeta as he contemplated what could be done, “Kabocha might want to…but he also might want to go his own way. He’s quite the determined warrior”, he sighed, “The one thing I noticed about Earth was the people were odd and the technology was odd”. Slowly standing up again, he stretched a little as he rubbed the back of his neck, following after Vegeta, “Hmm I guess so. I don’t think I could change diets from meat to fruit all day, especially considering Saiyans are primarily meat eaters…”

Choi shrugged a little, giving a nervous smile, “Aww I’m pretty light…I’m pretty happy”, he spoke, letting out a sigh as he looked away embarrassed. It was pretty hard to do something like mellow out during a training session when it typically meant being punished if you goofed off during it, but now he didn’t have to worry about that and could laugh at his mistakes. Feeling a lot more relaxed as compared to earlier, he smiled at Yumi before giving a little nod, “Yeah, I can see how it is…I mean, the others have been peering out of the window at us for ages and then you get the ex-Commander sitting on the roof probably listening to us”, he said quickly, looking around at everything to see if he could find Kabocha, “There are a lot of planets out there that are used as training grounds, at least ones that are suitable for breathing. I guess the only problem now is finding a planet that isn’t used by the King to train his armies…then again; you have a ship now, right? Otherwise you would have never been able to get here to check that it wasn’t one under rule, right?”
Shu gave a little nod before he went completely quiet, not sounding like he was wanting to speak an awful lot and just wanted to go on with everything. He was still too scared from it all, he didn’t know what was going to happen in the future and he was just having his decisions doubted all the time and whether they would actually be good ones in the end after it had all happened. Frowning a little, he let out a sigh as he watched his feet walk along the path back to the city, the solid ground still not feeling the best against his skin as he pondered it only for Takeshi to make a sudden exclamation and halt immediately, spinning around to face him. Staring up at him with a little concern, he pressed his fingers together as he listened to what he had to say. He didn’t really know what to make of that, he did want to fly around again but he was completely out of practice even when he was on Earth. Lowering his head again as he pondered it, he kept quiet for a few seconds before letting out a sigh, “O-Okay, I can try…but I might screw up again…”

It was a little odd that the notes would be partially ruined, Kai didn’t think much would had happened inside an inventor’s lab but apparently things could happen and this was definitely one of the problems Vegeta was going to have to face if he was to look after that creature. It was pretty odd, it sounded like someone had something to hide or the notes were not very well kept, “So you’re the caretaker, huh? Is that why you came all the way out here?” he questioned him, just trying to find out what his purpose in this war was out of curiosity. Turning in his seat again, he looked up to Vegeta, shrugging a little at the Earthling comment, scratching at his side as he continued to speak, “I feel as if a lot of people are going to have this problem when things are all over, there’s going to be chaos. There are many planets under the King’s rule and without a ruler there may be complete anarchy because these people don’t know how to deal with freedom. I think that’s what I’m probably going to worry about the most…hmm…I dunno, maybe I’ll hop on to Earth with Choi since I can at least understand the language spoken there…might help a little bit”.

Choi felt a little winded, his stomach not really handling her weight all too well before he managed to let out a sigh in response when she finally got off him. Giving his stomach a rub as he let out a sigh, he stared up at her as he made a grab for her hand, slowly hoisting himself up, “…Usually when I train, it’s pretty serious so it’s hard to get into the more mellowed out mood for this kind of training”, he replied, patting himself down, “I guess you could say that’s more the problem. Even when I train with Kai it’s fairly serious, we’re barely allowed to slack. Man…I gotta work out how to slack some more, it’s just so weird! Like learning how to read…ehh, well, it was still fun! I enjoyed trying to cope with that, it’s interesting…maybe I could try and do that sometime. All the serious training really did make you lose sleep sometimes…especially when you had to get up really early. I wonder if Kai would ever want to train like that…”
Shu felt a little stuck and a bit saddened, not knowing how he was supposed to take such a thing. He wasn’t feeling all that hungry in this mood, but maybe some food would help him feel a little better. Looking away from Takeshi when he hugged him, he squeaked a little and gave his face a wipe, looking back to him when he mentioned the fruit they had the day before. Staring at him curiously, he watched him go for his pocket, staring at the pouch he took out he scratched at his side, looking away again when Takeshi spoke to him, “O-Okay…I’d like some fruit…” he squeaked, speaking fairly softly. As Takeshi began to head onwards, Shu followed behind, keeping his head low as he rubbed his hands together, “Maybe…I don’t know, I don’t feel much like playing right now”. He just wanted things to go well, but he was not sure if he should had spoken up about his doubts and concerns when they might had seemed a bit silly. Letting out a sigh he looked up again, his eyes going to the buildings as he tried to find something in them to distract himself.

Kai listened to him thoughtfully, feeling a little confused by his claims of ‘protector’ when it came to Viral. The typical rumours when people knew he existed was that the experiments only hardened him and made him even more vicious, thus acclaiming the rank of Elite in the forces so it was difficult to see such a guy as a protector. Trying to think little of it, he shrugged a little as he sat back, “Did your father not keep any notes? That probably would had helped…and what’s with those big hands, anyway?” he questioned before he sighed, stretching his arms out in front of him, “Then again, if there’s anything I learned from when I was on Earth it was that you Earthlings are a confusing bunch”.

Feeling a little more relaxed than a few minutes ago, he looked to Vegeta in a little side glance, scratching his side thoughtfully, “Hmm I know, it’s just one of those things that happen, like being pulled out of your comfort zone and suddenly expected to do something else that you knew nothing about. I guess that’s what freedom is to me”, he spoke, looking back to Vegeta, “It was so very hard going from kitchen duties to suddenly training to become a warrior, like you were suddenly sitting on a chair as opposed to the floor all your years. Whatever I do, I’d have to find out what options there are before I just label myself a freelance soldier with my brother…I’d have to see what he wants to do…”

Getting back up to his feet quickly, Choi stumbled a little and rubbed his head, getting himself ready again, “Yeah…I know! I’d still hate to be away from him for too long…it’s like part of you is missing too, you know?” he spoke before doing a double take on it, “Uhh well, maybe you don’t. I don’t know if it’s a twin thing or not…” Feeling a little lost in thought for a moment he tried to gather himself again, looking to Yumi immediately and going after her as she came straight for him; however, before he could catch her, she went down and grabbed at his legs instead and forced him to the ground.
Shu pulled back, feeling frightened fairly quickly before he looked away, moving away from Takeshi as he looked off into the distance. He kind of wanted to just go elsewhere right now, he didn’t feel comfortable being around Takeshi or typically anyone just now. He just wanted to go to his friends, he felt pretty happy there and didn’t have much stress to put himself under when he was there. Frowning as he slowly backed off, he stopped when Takeshi spoke up again, looking up at him before he let out a sigh, raising his shoulders slightly when Takeshi petted his head. He was fair confused and didn’t really want to end up alone because he couldn’t do anything about this whole mess. Letting out a sigh, he gave a little nod, lowering his head, “I guess so…I guess so…”

Kai scratched his chin thoughtfully, listening to what Vegeta had to say about himself, “I see…so, it was you or your parents who created the Commander?” he questioned him, knowing the Beastman was not in the house right now so it shouldn’t be that big of a deal. It was odd coming across these types of people who weren’t employed by the King, he always did take all the smartest people and bunch them all up to create whatever they could and do whatever would be possible to make people better. Looking to Vegeta again, he frowned a little before letting out a sigh, relaxing a bit, “I only have a father. I don’t know my mother so I have no idea what she does. My father…well, we both grew up doing what he does so I’d rather that not being a career choice. There’s only so much pleasure you can get out of working in a kitchen without being able to enjoy the stuff yourself”, he spoke before calmly shaking his head, “We’d have to figure out how we’re to survive first before we decide what we’re supposed to be doing. I’m sure being Saiyans people might want to use us for our strengths…”

Choi kept himself balanced, smiling at Yumi, “We’d always be together, it isn’t right to separate people like us”, he spoke quickly, “The only way he wouldn’t be fighting is if he didn’t want to or if I screwed up, neither should happen”. Watching as she came straight back at him, he readied himself but just had to watch where she was going, feeling a little disorientated when she went right up into a tree, flipped off it and came straight down at him. He wasn’t entirely sure to how he was supposed to counter that and could only really think on spinning around and trying to catch her. As she came straight into him, he fell to the ground but instead of becoming pinned by her he managed to use the momentum to throw her away over himself while he tried to get back up onto his feet.
Shu felt a little frightened when Takeshi turned quickly to ask him about the situation, feeling as if he pressure was suddenly put on him. He didn’t know what they were supposed to do, he just thought it was too soon to try and find this person they shouldn’t know anything about. Feeling a little taken back by Takeshi, he let out a groan and looked away, shrugging a little with a frown. He didn’t know how he was supposed to answer such a thing, he was never good at that kind of stuff so all it managed to do was make him feel uncomfortable and a little bit dumb. Remaining fairly silent, he looked up again when Takeshi spoke before letting out a groan, “I don’t know! Stop pressuring me! I want to help but it doesn’t seem like a good idea to go straight in and to the people who want all of this to happen…”, he spoke quickly, frowning soon after as he rubbed his head, “You’re stressing me out…that was already very stressful. What are we supposed to even do…? I don’t want that guy to die either…”

Kai was fair ready to hear what Vegeta had to say, trying to understand just what the concept could possibly be. Listening to him, he felt a little confused to what his point was supposed to be. He seemed to have a hobby, that was for sure, but he wasn’t making his point very clear to him, “So…you’re a scientist, huh? A mechanic or inventor?” he asked him, trying to pinpoint just what kind of person he was. Contemplating it for a moment, he looked back at him when he spoke up again, not looking entirely sure to what he was getting at with this, “What? That’s a rather hard question to ask, I mean…how do you answer something like that? What do I want? There’s always…something. All I’ve wanted is to survive with my brother from one day to the next, the likes of Kabocha would have higher dreams because his family is posh. I don’t want to be stuck in the job I grew up doing if that’s what you mean”.

Choi had to be running on a high right now, probably because of his general lack of worries when it comes to having to conserve his energy to do the King’s duties. He had a way to blow it off with only the worry of his father to have and the high of having proven Kabocha wrong; it’ll definitely make him even happier when Takeshi sees he’s not such an idiot with people too. Throwing his punches out in an attempt to test her, he was caught off-guard for a moment before having to turn around, his hand barely catching the elbow as he stumbled back, “Woah! Nahh, I’m just too used to having my brother watch my back!” he spoke quickly before jumping back around, going back into a stance, “I’ve gotta learn to do that myself when he’s busy!”
Shu watched Takeshi curiously, just seeing if he had all the answers they needed and didn’t forget anything as soon as they had left. He didn’t find the guy to be too much, just a little worrying that he might had been talking way too loud. If everything was to go wrong at this stage then it would definitely be because of that. Letting out a sigh when Takeshi got all defensive, he frowned a little before looking away, giving his head a shake. If they were going to go straight for the people then the guy might end up getting into trouble considering they would end up going straight from his place to the apparent bad person’s place. Scratching his chin a little when they finally made it outside before looking back to Takeshi, giving his head a shake, “I don’t think it’s very good to go right there, though…I mean, wouldn’t someone notice?” he asked him, looking away again, “If we just got here then went to find someone else, then wouldn’t someone notice…? Maybe we shouldn’t go straight away…”

Kai didn’t really like how he phrased their arrival there, it wasn’t as if they had caused that much damage around the planet considering it was large. Folding his arms and giving Vegeta a fair strong look, he eventually looked away and let out a sigh, shaking his head, “If that’s the case then I guess I’ve got to wait for the good to happen”, he sighed, looking elsewhere. It was all still a dream, even with freedom on the horizon it still didn’t mean he knew what to do with himself. Looking to Vegeta as he spoke about his own life, he frowned a little at the very thought of the future and immediately found himself struggling to think to that point. Looking back to Yumi and Choi, he scratched at his side before he let out a sigh, “Maybe, it’s a case of actually knowing what to do and finding out whether I would lose myself in the process. What do you do when you’re free?”

Choi was fair alright with what was to happen next , he’d fight for hours if he could. It was just in his blood, but whether it was in Yumi’s to fight for fun like this was definitely something to figure out. Smiling away, he raised his hands into an attacking stance, giving Yumi a nod, “I’m sure you are! I wanna see, though”, he said quickly, but was taken aback by what she said, “Heyyy now, I don’t bruise easily….that’s my brother who does!” With Yumi teasing pretty hard and Choi completely falling for it, he nodded immediately and went straight at Yumi, throwing a couple of quick shots at her to get them started, “But Kai and I are the exact same! I’m only younger by a few minutes, you know!”
Shu was fairly quiet, he didn’t want to end up getting in the way of this guy’s antics. If they could get this done and Takeshi was fairly happy with it all, then the guy could easily go and see their ship if he wanted to. Having no space travel sounded like the world he knew before he knew anything about Takeshi, it was a strange far away world now and definitely one that was not very far away from happening again. They probably wouldn’t ever go out and see different planets after they had gotten rid of their father’s power and that made him a little sad, especially when he loved the travelling aspect. It was a little depressing, he’d miss a bunch of friends, not unless he learned how to do what Goku does through whatever means so he could pop in out and around everywhere.

Letting Takeshi and Katas interact with each other, Shu kept to himself and waited until they had talked through what they needed to do and who to look for. Shu had no real idea to what he was supposed to do just now, he just wanted to understand what was going on and get out of here before the guy got into trouble. Looking to the door with a frown, he hiccupped when Takeshi suddenly took hold of his hand before looking back to the man. Giving a little wave before being suddenly dragged away, he stumbled on his feet a little bit before he looked up at Takeshi, frowning a little, “You’re acting weird too, you know…” Feeling a little lost for words, he just continued to walk along with him, giving a little nod at the mention of the stairs, “O-Okay…and you’re completely sure this time on where we’re going…? What are we supposed to do once we find them?”

Kai looked back at Vegeta with a fairly emotionless expression, he just didn’t really have much to say to his idea of what they were actually like. There was a fair common thought process behind that idea, seeing as how he was a pure blood Saiyan and they were often vicious and cold. Letting out a sigh, he shook his head and went back to trying to relax, “I enjoy battling, but I don’t enjoy hurting people who don’t deserve it. It’s no different than how we were treated growing up”. He couldn’t blame Vegeta, but really he should had just looked and guessed that they weren’t the same as the others just by how they moved and talked. Feeling the moment of quiet for now, when Vegeta spoke again he looked to him, frowning a little, “Not entirely sure. It means our time is over and our father is safe, maybe we’ll keep fighting until we die? The thought of such freedom is pretty foreign, it’s something you’d never think would happen, you know?”

Choi was fair giddy now, he hadn’t had this much luck with anyone nevermind another girl. Feeling a little better about having seen the way Yumi reacted after hearing what Kabocha said, he smiled a little as he looked her way again, giving a little nod, “That’s nice of you, I should tell him! It’ll make him feel better about everything that’s going on”, he spoke happily, pressing his fingers together. Without any real idea that anybody else was watching them except Kabocha, he looked quickly back to Yumi when she spoke again, looking to his side as he was nudged before back up again, “Oh? Spar? Really??” he repeated, immediately turning to her, “Yeah! Okay! Uhh, I won’t hit hard, but I’m fast! It’ll be a good match! It’s usually only my brother who trains with me…man….”
