I love the sound of the first (Steampunk) idea, as i am unfamiliar with the "storm winds" material it almost reminds me of the Mortal Engine series by Philip Reeves (if unfamiliar - apolyptic/ steampunk universe where cities have evolved into machines on wheels that destroy each other for parts in order to survive) and would be more than willing to come to some arrangement in trying to play this out.
