Lunch time~!

Tokiko grabbed her lunch, and headed towards the cafeteria. She would have normally eaten her first lunch during a break, but since she would up sitting in the front, and there wasn't a break between classes, there wasn't an opportunity to eat it.

She took a seat down by herself and opened up her lunchbox.

I see Mom made my lunch today...

Inside of her bento box was once a footlong sandwich. It had been cut in half and crammed into the box. There were also some apple slices with an attempt to make them look like rabbits, and a protein shake.

Her food is never pretty, but it is edible.

She took the sandwich out and took a large bite out of it.

Mmm...turkey...wait...is that- AW COME ON!

She heard heavy breathing, and sure enough, Herito was only a little bit away, with his own lunch.

Maybe I should sit somewhere else...

She scanned the area, and eventually, she found Selena sitting off to the side.

That girl...Selena, was it? She was interested in my quirk. Maybe I should say hi.

Tokiko hastily picked up her lunch and walked over to where Selena was sitting.

"Um...hi. Could I sit here?"

Tokiko kept her eyes shut, preparing for the worst.

Will I have to be a villain for stabbing someone? I don't want to go to jail...

She nervously opened her right eye and found that Herito was...not dying at least. He looked a little surprised at the wound.

"Ahhhh well damn your stronger then I thought. Now, try taking the blade out, but before you do that open your eye and check the wound. As you can see I’m perfectly fine."

...Oh thank God, I'm not villain material.

She stood nearby and watched as he showed off his quirk, and explained it. Tokiko was still in a daze from stabbing Herito.

Who just asks a random classmate to stab them? And...why did I go along with it? Sheesh...

She put on her eyepatch and rubbed her temple.

I haven't even had lunch, and I'm tired.

"Thank you for being apart of this live experiment Eyepatch Chan. Now-"

I hope that nickname doesn't stick...

She sat down at her desk, and Herito then sat down at his desk as well. He thanked her again. She sighed, frowning.

"You're welcome...but don't expect me to do something like that again." She whispered back. "I'm...not really comfortable stabbing people. Even if I can see the future."

Sometimes reality is stranger than fiction...

While Tokiko was surprised at the set of events that happened, on some level she also wasn't.

That's why he was breathing all hard...hentai. He was reading hentai in the front row, right next to me. Gross...

She watched as an image of Herito yelling at Andrew swirled in her left eye.

...What a temper...

Eventually, he went in front of the class and bowed, introducing himself. Her eye flashed again.

Why is he looking at me? Great, he's now pointing at me...and handing me a knife.

"Hey you! Eyepatch-chan! You will be perfect for this live experiment."

Eyepatch-chan? Really?

Tokiko sighed and got up.

"Now I want you to stab me as hard as you can please don’t hold back I’ll be alright. If you don’t believe me use your quirk beforehand but don’t say anything please," he mumbled to her.

Sure enough, she was handed a small jagged dagger. She looked at it, and then Herito, then at the dagger again.

This doesn't feel very plus ultra...

Tokiko gulped. Her left eye saw him standing there, fine, but...she couldn't really see what would happen if she stabbed him.

This REALLY doesn't feel plus ultra...I mean he's weird and breathes hard, but this is...intense.

She rolled the dagger around in her hand and looked at Herito.

Well um...Here goes!

Tokiko closed her eyes and thrust the knife forward.

Tokiko squirmed in her seat a little. It was time for introductions. Rather than be nervous, Tokiko was excited.

This is my big high school debut! I'm at UA! Yay!

Tokiko hadn't worked out this morning, opting to get her uniform perfect and plan out how she would introduce herself. Rather than wear the uniform's jacket, she opted for a vest. While she did put on her skirt, she opted to put some bicycle shorts on under them, for comfort.

She sat down in the front row, towards the middle. Another student sat down near her. She didn't look over at the person but started to hear some heavy breathing.

Is someone having an asthma attack or som- WAIT! It's that dude from the test! He was breathing hard over that one hero lady!

She frowned and looked away.

I-is he breathing hard over me? He's looking at me strangely... Is he having a medical emergency? Is it a cry for help? I'm not a medical professional!

She shook her head.

Don't think about it Toki. Focus on what you have to do.

There seemed to be a pause in the students introducing themselves. Tokiko rubbed her hands together, grinning.

Yes...now it's my time to shine.

She went to the front of the class and puffed out her chest.

And here we...go!

"My name is Tokiko Chronos and I..." She yanked her eyepatch off dramatically, "...Can see into the future. And I see..." She scanned the room and smirked. "...That no one has any questions for me. At least in not the next 30 seconds."

Tokiko looked at her classmates with a knowing smile, and the mist off of her eye swirled wildly.

"For my hero gear, I asked for some tech to help with my movement, a visor to cover my left eye that can also be dimmed, a wearable clock to put some throwing weapons in or that can be used as a weapon itself, and gauntlets with spikes and retractable claws." She said, hitting her fist into her palm. It made a loud smack sound. Some students looked a little uncomfortable.

"It's to climb walls, of course. Definitely not to punch people with. Oh, and some reinforced shoes too." She said with a grin, scratching the back of her head.

"Either way, I have spent a great deal of time training my body to keep up with the students here..." she said, glancing over at Kazama. "So I'm looking forward to the experience. Also..." She paused, winking at one of her classmates, "I can see into the immediate future, provided my inaction, Selena."

She scooped up the eyepatch she tossed into the floor and sat back down.

Nailed it.

Tokiko settled back into her seat and heard heavy breathing near her still. She sighed.

I can't just tell him to stop breathing...Hm...I've got it!

She reached into her bag and began to pull out a tan trenchcoat. Her eye flashed a little brighter.

I'll just put this over my arms and...What the- IT MAKES IT WORSE! HOW!?

She let the trenchcoat go, with a disgusted sigh.

I need to find another seat...

"198...199...200!"

Tokiko got up after finishing her daily training regiment. 200 pushups, sit-ups, and swats every morning since she set her eyes on being a hero. She'd alternate weight training and running on different days. She freshened up, and got some new workout gear on.

"Its almost time..." she said, putting her eyepatch on. She glanced at the letter on her dresser unopened, and a smile reached her face. Her mother was tripping over herself trying to get it to her yesterday. She recalled it with a grin.

"Toki, Toki! You've got a- Why are you crying?" Her mother asked.

"I can take the UA entrance exam..." She sniffed. "I just...can't believe its actually happening. I finally have my chance." Her mom gave her a hug.

A knock came at the door, pulling her out of her memories. It was her dad.

"Ready for first day of classes?" He asked.

"You better believe it!" Tokiko said.
Tokiko looked at Suichi with curiosity and scooted over.

She must be a second year. I've never seen her before.

"Well, I'm not sure where it came from. I just found it on me after I took a nap one day." Tokiko said. "It is pretty warm. I washed it, and I've been wearing it so that maybe its owner could find me."

Tokiko sighed and leaned back in her seat.

"My mom was supposed to tell me who it belonged to, but she forgot. I want to give it back to the guy it belonged to, and tell him thanks." Tokiko said with a smile. "I'm really curious about who he is. I'm not used to guys doing nice things for me, you know? They tend not to like muscle-y gals like me..." she said, with a slight blush on her cheeks. "I wonder if he's some sort of upperclassman or something..."

Tokiko glanced at Suichi, and was concerned about the face she was making.

Did I say something wrong?

Tokiko looked at the bus as other students shuffled onto the bus.

Combat exercises, huh?

Tokiko stood in line near the middle. Since it was still morning, it was a little colder than she expected even in her training uniform. She glanced into her bag and saw the brown trenchcoat she had been carrying around. She asked her mom to give her a description of the person who left it, but she seems to have forgotten some of the details after the bank robbery.

I don't even know who to return it to...So I guess I may as well use it. I'll return it if I can find them, though.

She put it on herself, and it was a bit large. The sleeves ended close to her fingertips, but the length of the trenchcoat wasn't too much longer than her own jacket. She buttoned up the jacket and it was surprisingly warm.

This dude is probably taller than me, but not by much. I'm a hearty 5'7, after all.

Once she was on the bus, she looked around. There was this one, admittedly attractive, girl talking to some guy, and she saw Yin and Alexa further down.

I wonder if I can sit with one of them...

"The SOPHOMORES DON’T LOOK ALL THAT TO ME!" Yin said, loudly. Alexa looked really uncomfortable, waving her arms about.

Okay, maybe not Yin.

Alexa sat down, looking a little ruffled.

Maybe Alexa,then?

She waved at Alexa, who gave an uncomfortable wave back.

I guess she's still feeling awkward because of me carrying her. Maybe I'll talk with her later.

She sat in a seat across the aisle from Alexa. She pulled the jacket closer to her.

I wonder if I will find out who this belongs to?
Tokiko went outside to the training area and stretched her arms and legs. She glanced at her classmates and smirked.

This should be easy. No one looks like they work out.

She lined up with other students at the start line, eyepatch still on.

I don't need to see the future to see I'm going to win.

"Begin!"

Tokiko took off running, reaching the front of the pack quickly. She glanced back at her classmates who were trailing behind her, grinning.

EAT MY DUST! *manical laughter*

Suddenly, the Doll ran ahead of her. Tokiko's smile faded.

What the-

Then, Alexa was ahead of her, too.

HELL IS THIS!

Tokiko took off her eyepatch and threw it down on the ground as she ran.

Oh no you don't! You are NOT going to beat me!

Tokiko kicked it into high gear, running faster and faster. Doll moved further ahead. Alexa was ahead of her, but still behind Doll.

You can't take away my victory!

She closed her eyes and pushed herself even further.

You...you...can't take this from me!

She opened her eyes, and her left eye saw Doll winning, Alexa next, and then-

"Six minutes. Good job, Tokiko!" Gang Orca said. Tokiko gave a forced smile to Gang Orca, and muttered thanks. She then turned and looked at the people who beat her. Her face darkened.

Who are these people? Why do they run so fast? I mean that girl... She focused on Alexa. She was fast, but maybe I could train a little harder to beat her, but that Doll girl? She focused on Doll, glaring. How was she able to make ME look slow? HOW!?!?

As the other students came through, Tokiko shook with rage.

It's not fair...It's not fair! My strength, my speed, my endurance...I've trained so hard...It's not FAIR!

She crossed her arms, and stomped to the next area.

Next, there was the ball test. She watched as Yin threw a ball into a portal, and it disappeared.

Yeah...I'm not beating that.

When it was her turn, Tokiko threw the ball, but it veered left and didn't go as far as she had hoped. Still, it was a bit above average.

Maybe I should work on my aim...

Next, there was jumping. Tokiko managed to jump a bit further than she expected. She managed to get 6 feet out, somehow.

Good, but...I need to add things like this to my training regiment...

Last but not least there was the debris machine.

I forgot about this one. Maybe this is the best way to assert dominance.

"Try to avoid the things shooting out at you, okay?" Gang Orca said.

"It's alright," Tokiko said, her eyes lighting up. "Nothing will hit me." She walked out to the testing area. Debris came towards her, and Tokiko dodged the items with ease.

At least my quirk is being useful now.

Since she saw where the debris was coming from, it felt as if the items themselves were moving slowly.

Now...to show off.

Tokiko began to do more elaborate movements to dodge, cartwheeling out of the way of debris, and even managed to do a flip. The machine turned off, and Tokiko posed after another flip, completely unharmed.

"Ta-da~!" She said, grinning. She walked back where the other students were, and noticed Doll nearby. She smiled at her and stood beside her.

Top THAT!

She looked at her classmates as they introduced themselves. A girl walked up, looking unhappy. She said she liked flowers.

You'd think someone forced her to be here...Shouldn't she be excited? Happy?

After that, another student walked to the front. This one, she recognized.

It's that dude from the test! The one who was breathing all hard over that hero!

She frowned a little.

Well, we all have on uniforms. He wouldn't leer at a uniform, right?

Another student went up and introduced himself.

I wonder how a sentient quirk works?

A second girl went to the front and introduced herself. She seemed a little uncomfortable as she spoke.

Portals? That's a pretty cool quirk, actually.

Yin sat down, and then it was her turn. Tokiko rubbed her hands together, grinning.

Yes...now its my time to shine.

She went to front of the class, puffed out her chest.

And here we...go!

"My name is Tokiko Chronos and I..." She yanked her eyepatch off dramatically, "...Can see into the future. And I see..." She scanned the room, and smirked. "...That no one has any questions for me. At least in not the next 30 seconds."

Tokiko looked at her classmates with a knowing smile, and the mist off of her eye swirled wildly. She scooped up the eyepatch she tossed into the floor, and sat back down.

Nailed it.

After the other students introduced themselves, Gang Orca announced that there would be a physical fitness test. Her classmates groaned, but Tokiko grinned.

This is going to be a breeze.

Well, this is a fine situation I've gotten myself into...

Nozomi was being held at gunpoint after paying for her "car insurance". Her life as a detective has made her used to the dangers of crime, but typically not as a hostage.

I should have never helped him...my lasagna is going to get cold...How long does this have to be anyway?

She glanced at the man holding her hostage.

He seems calmer than the average criminal. I feel like this isn't his first rodeo.

The police were nearby, trying to find the best way to end the situation. Hopefully, a hero would stop by.

I should be fine. Killing me will only make things worse for him.

She turned her quirk on, viewing the recent past.

So...he can make toys come to life? Hm...good to know.

She looked past the police and noticed a familiar face behind them. Her daughter was looking at the bank, eyes filled with worry. Her stomach dropped. Nozomi had downplayed the danger her job sometimes entailed, so that her family wouldn't get too worried. She generally did a good job of it, but now...

Oh Toki...I'm sorry you had to see this.

Suddenly, she found herself shoved to the ground.

The hell?

Glass shattered everywhere and all hell was breaking loose.

Welp, time to get out of here.

Nozomi crawled behind a large pillar. Spikes were flying around and it was clear she couldn't use the front door.

How do I get out now?
