Flashbacks? As in flashbacks from you or flashbacks from the others? If its the former then that isn't really something you would have a say in, rather it would be something that only a GM or (possibly) a co-Gm would have a say in. If it's the latter however then you'd just have to be careful to let others know its a flash back so as to avoid confusion.
Oh hey, this is back up? Cool! Think i'll bring back ol' Gunnar

name: Gunnar Brynhildr
age: 26
gender: Male

nationality: Norse
appearance: Right here - He's massive in every sense of the word, standing at 6'7" with shoulders nearly four feet across

weapons: Axes, though he'll take whatever he can slice or bludgeon with. The guy isn't picky.
work outside being a gladiator: Pretorian guard (he's only required to do this when the emperor is visiting or receiving guests from a hostile nation)

Bio: Originally born in Nóregr (norway), Gunnar came from a tribe of people who were barbarians in every sense of the word, nomadic and extremely violent, Gunnar's tribe pillaged and murdered their way through the countryside, earning the moniker "the white plague" for their habit of attacking a village before or during a snow storm. It was shortly after his 21st summer that his tribe was finally destroyed, and its members either killed, enslaved, or sold off. Gunnar would find himself in Rome, sold to take part in the gladiator battles. As a man born and bathed in combat and blood, it goes without saying that Gunnar thrived, somehow surviving five years in a row and showing such terrifying skill and brutality that he caught favor with the emperor, who would later offer him a position as a guard.

Pets: A young male wild boar that he was given upon request to the emperor. It's name is Geir.
Extra: As a believer of Valhalla Gunnar LIVES for battle and believes that one should only die on the battle field. He holds great respect for the other gladiators, especially those that he believes might actually be able to kill him.
Sorry I didn't post yesterday guys, I had a lot of junk to take care of and it left me dead tired ^^"
"Yes, your majesty." Cain said as he rose from the ground and tucked his arms behind his back. "The combat capability of your army continues to improve at a rapid pace, though I regret to inform you that their abilities to battle on horseback is a tad bit lacking. Still, with enough of my guidance, I believe that they will learn it in good time. As for the borders of your kingdom, everything remains clear, and i've yet to find any signs of possible invasion from any of our neighboring kingdoms. On an unrelated note, the recent weather and the growth of the fields show promise of a bountiful harvest before the winter comes. Should this conflict indeed turn into a war, the nonperishable food that we have stockpiled coupled with the excess food being grown means that, at least in theory, the citizens will not have to go hungry for many months." Cain said with a small tinge of pride and happiness.

Though the knight would never admit it, he was hoping that Ephraim would entertain the thought of telling the public of the news that had been brought. With the idea of war hanging over everyone's head like swirling black clouds the citizens of Raphael needed to believe that they would be safe so as to avoid turmoil inside the walls, and in Cain's own experience, nothing got a commoner's mind away from the thought of war like the promise of plenty of work that would allow them to bring in money and put food on the table.
"Sir Knight, his majesty will see you now.", Cain's head snapped up as he heard a voice to his left. The Knight had not realized it, but he had ended up dozing off whilst leaning on a wall. Cain stood up straight, thanking the heavens that his half mask covered the red flush that had spread across his cheeks from embarrassment, however those thanks were soon turned into curses of damnation as he noticed the grapefruit sized hole that had been gouged into the wall by his cursed ability. "...That hole was there when I arrived. I was merely leaning upon the wall to cover the unsightly thing so that the king and queen would not have to see it." he said. It was a weak lie, however, the servant who had come to let him into the throne room recognized and sympathized with his exhaustion, and simply allowed him to pass without complaint. Cain blinked away the sleep and strode into the room with his head held high, hoping to give his King the impression that he was an infallible weapon of war ready to be directed and set loose upon his enemy with but a single word. Once he reached the base of the stairs to the throne, Cain kneeled down onto one knee, "Hail his royal majesty King Ephraim of Raphael!" he said almost automatically. Aside from this, Cain did not speak anything else, he was a soldier after all, and like any soldier he would patiently wait to be given permission to speak further.
Unaware of the demise of his "comrade", Jacque was preoccupied with attempting to pry open the door to the crew's quarters. "Come now you blasted thing, just open..." he hissed as he jammed his cane into a small crack of the door and began to wedge it open as far as he could without damaging the cane. Once the doors were opened wide enough for him to slip his hand in, Jacque tucked the cane under his arm and pried open the doors slowly, taking great care to peer into the room through the slowly widening crack for any sign of life, or more importantly, danger. With the room seemingly clear, Jacque opened the doors completely and stepped into the room and raised a brow as he realized just how much stuff had been left behind after the crew disappeared. There were all manner of clothing and other personal affects strewn about the room, a few beds had been flipped, however these things didn't catch his attention nearly as much as the body lying atop one of the overturned mattresses. Jacque strolled over to the body and prodded with his cane, "It looks as though he was trampled to death. An unfortunate way to go." the vampire said with a blank expression. Not bothering to honor a random corpse like he had done the child, Jacque snatched a blanket from the ground and started to walk out when he had a moment of realization: The body wasn't that old, and it being here meant there where likely still plenty of dead aboard, all still filled with semi-fresh blood. Jacque spun on his heel, grabbed the body by the collar, then plopped the blanket onto it's head before once more heading for the exit. "I may not have to eat the others after all. Well, at least not immediately anyway. I'll just drop you in one of the cryo chambers and deposit this blanket for the child, then I can see if I find any of your friends" he said to the body as he dragged it along.
T'is quite alright Aphelion. Rest and let your dreams take wing~ :o)
Within the castle walls of the kingdom of Raphael, a knight paced the halls in deep thought. This knight was none other than Cain Argus, and there where two things on his mind: the first thing being informing the King and Queen of the latest news involving the preparation of their army for an all out war, and the second thing was finding a place to just curl up and sleep. Truth be told, Cain was more interested in the second thing on his mind, having not slept a wink since the dawn of yesterday. From the moment he had awoken yesterday, Cain had to march through the kingdom with a few warriors in tow in order to keep the peace and reassure the public that they would be safe within the kingdom, then shortly after, he had literally spent the remainder of the day putting his men through combat drills until nightfall, which was when he had taken it upon himself to patrol the borders of the kingdom for any sign of invasion. Once the sun had risen once more, the knight had returned, pausing only for a mere moment to purchase a loaf of bread to eat on the way to the palace before arriving to the spot he was in now.

To say that Cain was exhausted was an understatement, still, he had a duty to perform to ensure that the kingdom was safe. After all, the safety of the kingdom would mean his salvation from the curse that plagued him. Even with his lack of sleep clouding his thoughts, Cain's subconscious still fought to keep the curse's power in check, however with exhaustion weighing him down, it was starting to look like an uphill battle 'I really hope his and her majesty see me soon...' he mused as he rubbed his bloodshot eyes.

Guys, I'm extremely sorry guys but I don't think I'm going to have time for this roleplay :(. School is harder than I had anticipated and there's tons of homework. Again, I'm sorry. :( @MonsieurShade you can just have your character beat mine. I wish everyone the best of luck :)

If you're certain of this, ok. It was fun having you around while it lasted! :)
