As someone who works for a pet store I both love and hate pixar. The next person that tries to ask me if we have "a dory fish" for their goldfish bowl is getting straight up clubbed like a baby seal

I'm just a simple college student working his way through life while simultaneously testing the limits of how much caffeine and alcohol the human body can subsist on before it gives out. Just call me Shade.

Having listened carefully to what Jinx had to say, a somewhat concerned look wormed it's way across Dimitri's face. He was excited to play the game, and content with his team, however he couldn't help but be somewhat worried about whether or not his abilities would leave some of the other students in bad shape. Dimitri pushed the thoughts away however as one of his team mates spoke to him, "On the fly mechanic, eh? I can definitely work with that. It's pleasure to properly meet'cha James." said as he clenched and unclenched his hands. The cyborg mulled over James' offer and nodded in confirmation, "Yeah, it'd probably be best if I knew what you all could do. I mean with me-", Dimitri trailed off as he held up one hand and let a low rumbling sound emit from the speaker, "-It's pretty obvious given my alias. But knowing what you guys can do might make things go smoother.".
((Apologies Scarlett, my work schedule puts me at a slight disadvantage against those who can post quicker. Ergo I just try to post in a way that makes sense chronologically even if it makes things harder on my characters.)) As Violet offered Dimitri a position on her team, Dimitri fell in with the group without complaint. "Works for me, thanks for the offer.", he whispered in return so as to avoid incurring the wrath of Jinx. The co-headmaster, as it seemed, was becoming further agitated by the tardiness of her students as time went on, and the last thing he needed now was her perceiving his talking as disruptiveness. "King of the hill, huh? Haven't played that since grade school. I wonder how this version will be played." Dimitri mused as he eyed the co-headmaster with anticipation.
Dimitri skidded to a halt just outside of the door and entered the classroom in a rather hurried manner. Unfortunately for the cyborg, it seemed as though his efforts were in vain as Jinx stood before the classroom. On the bright side, he'd made it just in time to mention teams of four and begin to divide the class up. Resigned to whatever fate awaited him beyond the classroom, Dimitri stood off to the side and awaited the arrival of more students to form his own team. "Excuse me, Co-headmaster?", Dimitri began as he raised his hand partially, "First, though I know it'll probably do squat to change the outcome of my punishment, my bad for being late. Second, since this looks like a team building exercise of sorts, will this be oriented towards combative or non combative activities?". Though his easy going expression and posture may not have betrayed it, Dimitri was somewhat concerned about who he ended up with. After all, were he not careful with his abilities in a combat simulation, there was a chance that someone might end up deaf or worse.
Dimitri winced a bit and ceased his workout as the announcement of the headmaster rang in over the PA system. So entranced had he been in his work out, that he'd failed to realize how quickly he'd burned through the time he could've used for socialization. Still, it appeared as if his efforts weren't in total vain, as the young woman he'd intended to speak to earlier quickly acknowledged him as she made her leave. Dimitri turned to leave, then stopped halfway through, "One for the road.". Dimitri turned on his heel and struck the punching bag with an open palm, blasting it with a strong burst of sound upon impact. The bag jolted back, it's sandy contents muffled most of the sound, however the chain that it hung from vibrated and produced a low hum as the bag swung about. With that out of the way, Dimitri took his leave, jogging to his next class in an effort to arrive on time. The last thing he felt like doing now was finding out what would happen if he was late.
As Dimitri made his way down the hall, he noticed two people talking amongst themselves, one, crouched over what appeared to be some withered plants, and the other standing over her smiling. Tempting though it was for Dimitri to try and join in on their conversation, he felt as if it would be somewhat rude to just but in for the sake of filling his quota for social interaction. That aside, there was something off about the boy that was standing, as though there was something brewing just below that smile. Dimitri knew that sort look better than most, not that he'd ever willingly admit to it. Continuing down the hallway Dimitri stopped in front of the gym and hung awkwardly in the doorway for a bit as he contemplated going inside. On the one hand, it was a good way to kill time, and there was a decent possibility for him to find someone on their own to talk to, yet on the other hand, he hadn't stepped foot into a gym since he'd stopped taking boxing lessons at fourteen. "Ah, what the hell. I could use the practice if we're going to be doing more combat related junk later. Might even find someone who can give me a tip or two.", He mused as he finally entered the room. The first thing he noticed was the smell, every gym had it; that strange combination of musk, rubber, and the disinfecting wipes used to clean machines after use, and it always ranged from faint to gag inducing. Lucky for Dimitri, the smell in this gym seemed to be on the more tolerable side, and he had little trouble traversing the room in search of his target. The cyborg passed right by the weights and lifting racks, after all when you had no muscle to lose or gain, such an activity could be viewed as him being facetious or craving attention. Dimitri walked past the treadmills and elliptical machines for those very same reasons, pausing long enough to smile and nod at someone he recognized from his class, "Looks like she's in her zone. Maybe i'll talk to her once she wraps up.", he thought. After a bit more looking, Dimitri found what the had been searching for: A punching bag, unoccupied, and swaying ever so slightly as though it had recently been in use. With his near perpetual lopsided grin plastered on his face, Dimitri circled the bag once before standing before it and bringing his chin down and his fists up in front of his face. Dimitri began shadow boxing for a bit, lightly hopping from foot to foot as he threw a few mock punches into the empty air. Dimitri continue this for about ten seconds to get himself into the proper mindset, then took a solid stance, one foot forward and flat on the ground, and the other back with him balancing on the ball of his foot. Dimitri lunged forward with his right hand, rotating his shoulder slightly as he struck the bag with a jab before returning to the "ready" stance. The bag swayed backwards a bit, and as it came forward again Dimitri swung out once more, this time shifting the weight to his back fist and rotating his hip as he lashed out with a hook, and then, like it was second nature, returning to the ready position. Dimitri continued in this manner, alternating between punches in a variety of combinations, his body swaying from front, to back, to side to side in an almost rhythmic pattern.
"Phew, not nearly as bad as i'd initially thought. Thank god.", Dimitri grunted as he sat cross legged on his bed. After reaching his room, the cyborg had wasted virtually no time stripping his arm of several of it's metal plates to get to the inner workings. What he found was that rather than some wires being fried like he'd originally feared, the arm had merely been forced to shut down, a failsafe to prevent it from being overloaded and destroyed Dimitri wagered. A two minute reactivation sequence later and the arm seemed to work as good as new. "I gotta admit that for an overzealous money chaser, pops sure does know how to build things to endure.", Dimitri mused as he experimentally flexed his fingers. With his arm functioning normally once more, Dimitri replaced his plating and jumped off of his bed. "Oh! Almost forgot to see if the speaker worked. Hrm...let's try something small. Seventy four decibels should do.". Dimitri held his hand out and aimed it at the wall, then fired a three second blast, a corner of his mouth twisting upward ever so slightly as the room was briefly filled with sound, "Hot damn, i'm back in business. Just gotta avoid busting my arm again.". With his repairs out of the way and still time to spare, Dimitri gathered up his mini repair kit, exited his room, and walked purposefully down the hall, deciding in his mind that now was as good a time as any to properly socialize with the other students. The trick now was just to find someone.
Dimitri scowled slightly as Jin failed to react as he'd desired to his attempts at awakening her. The boy's intentions were good enough, however he was severely lacking in the first aid department. Paying no mind to the slight distortion field being produced by Jin, Dimitri flexed his hand a bit and prepared for another blast. "Maybe if I do it a bit louder she'll-", He stopped mid sentence as James decided to try his luck, holding something under her nose. Common sense finally seemed to dawn on Dimitri, and the cyborg got up, brushed off the back of his pants, and backed up, deciding to leave the medical assistance to the ones that were still fully human. That final thought caused Dimitri to wince a bit, however he brushed it to the side and instead, opted to take his leave to tend to his arm, "Well, this was fun and all, but seeing as I don't enjoy the idea of walking around with an arm flopping every which way all day, i'm gonna take my leave. See you folks next class." Dimitri stated before once more making his way to the door and making an exit. As he made his way back to his room, Dimitri looked back to the class he'd come from and smirked, "Interesting people. Looks like this H.I.V.E. business is gonna be pretty fun.".
Let's call Reed Richards!

Reed Richards? REED RICHARDS!? I SAY THEE NAY! We consult Dr.DOOM.
Well, she's not asleep... She's unconscious. Those are not the same. Also, I remember Pulse. (Secretly I imagine he trained Kassy and they booked it to some sunny coastal city. He, her and Regis save drowning tourists and sinking boats, and the locals call them the Life Guards.)
I'm aware, sadly Dimitri isn't one that's well versed in first aid given his condition. Also, that is the greatest ending of all time for those three. I'm now imagining them living in a beachfront flat purchased with the money he stole (which would likely forever be his dark secret), and whenever they save passengers from a sunken ship he proceeds to berate the captain of the vessel until Kassy stops him. This image is glorious. Kudos for remembering Regis too!
Uh... not sure if sound is gonna wake Jin right now. Edit: Also, I misnamed my own character, how the hell... *rubs face* "Jetta" is her name in a whole other universe.
Mistress Dizzy
Well my original plan was to use a frayed wire from Dimitri's messed up arm to zap her a few times, but that'd require further deconstruction of his limb. Now Dimitri's just doing what he knows wakes heavy sleepers. Still would've been more polite than what Pulse would've done had I used him instead though, hah. And no worries about using the wrong name, I can't even begin to tell you how many times i've accidentally referred to one of my characters by a name for another RP.
