As someone who works for a pet store I both love and hate pixar. The next person that tries to ask me if we have "a dory fish" for their goldfish bowl is getting straight up clubbed like a baby seal

The driver of the getaway van cursed silently as he watched someone run around the back of the bank and begin to levitate. For a moment he feared that he'd have to go out to confront this person, however the figure ascended to the roof of the bank and disappeared from view. He fumbled for his radio for a second and brought it to his face, "Orb Weaver, we got a super that just went topside. Just flew up like it wasn't a thing. He might've gotten in through the roof by now.". Orb weaver grimaced as he heard this and brought up his radio, "Acknowledged. Stay in position, we'll be out shorty.". The villain stuffed his radio into his pocket and turned to his cohorts just as they came out with bags filled to the brim with money, "Alright you heard the man. We got a super in the building. Capable of flight and only who knows what else, be on your guard. And for gods sake if you have to shoot, shoot to maim, not kill." he said giving a pointed look at the man next to him. With their money secured, Orb Weaver and his group cautiously exited the vault room, stepping over the two dead guards with their weapons raised and ready as they slowly started to make their way towards the exit.
Dimitri shook his head as he walked, his expression growing somber, "I've had my fill of pain. Enough to last me a lifetime man." he said as he seemed to drift off somewhere for a few seconds. It was brief, but it almost appeared as though Dimitri were heavily depressed, however in a flash the look was gone and replaced once more by his smiling visage, "But, that's enough about me, the important thing is getting this one to the infirmary.". Once more returning his attention to Molly, Dimitri ducked down a bit and tried to shift his weight to make things easier for Molly, noting the fact that she was giving Ryan a pretty baleful glare, "C'mon now, don't sweat it. Save your energy for walking rather than getting angry. We're only a few yards away now.". Just as he stated, the med bay was only nine yards away now, and already Dimitri was fretting even more over what kind of damage he'd find out he'd done to one of his fellow classmates.
Just saying this now, DarkTemplar has God tier taste in music. The song picked not only matched the scene he described, but it somehow matched the "stealthy but rushed heist" vibe i've been giving off
Orb Weaver clutched his tablet in a death grip with one hand, his fingers flew across the device as if they were possessed, he was so close to getting the vault open. He paused momentarily to pull up his radio, "I thought you assholes claimed to b professionals!" he barked to the driver who remained in the car outside. The device crackled for a bit before a reply came, "What're you talking about, we are!", "Well obviously not, one of you trigger happy friends just killed a cop." Orb weaver spat back venomously, "Jesus chirst...". Orb weaver rolled his eyes beneath the mask, "Call on him later, we're almost done here, how's it looking out there?". The driver held the radio away from his face and rolled down the window a bit to listen out, "Some sirens in the distance. Maybe five, ten minutes away tops. No sign of any supers though.". Orb weaver clucked his tongue, "Good, keep the car running but don't move until we come out. That van better handle better than it looks.". Without waiting for a reply, Orb weaver shoved the radio into his coat and looked at the tablet in his hand, his frustration momentarily turning to elation as he finally gained access to the vault's systems. "Alright boys we're in business. One of you stay to guard the door, the rest of you on me with the bags." He barked as he stood and pressed one more button on the tablet, "Open sesame.". The vault opened with a hiss and a click, just in time for another three round burst to ring out. There was a yell as another guard dropped to the ground out in the hallway, though Orb weaver didn't have time to lament the loss of life. He shoved the tablet into his bag and along with three of the four men piled inside and began to grab what they could, the team using duffels, while Orb weaver used his own back pack. What the others did at this point was of no consequence so long as he received his cut. Once his bag was filled to the brim, Orb weaver zipped it up and ran out of the vault to help cover the others, pulling out his pistol and turning off the safety as he stacked up at the part of the doorway across from his team mate. "You couldn't have just nicked him or something? Jesus I can see his fucking brain matter from here!" Orb weaver hissed as he peered momentarily out of the door way.
Don't mind me folks, just bringing this back to page one with a bump.
As Orb Weaver and his crew combed their way through the bank's interior, Orb Weaver couldn't help but find the security in the building to be a tad lacking. Already he'd personally disposed of two security guards with nothing more than choke hold and a quick strike to the head with his gun. His team had also taken out several other guards in a similar manner, but left them alive at Orb Weaver's request. "You'd think they'd hire more adept security than these guys if they're protecting everyone's money." Orb Weaver muttered to one of his team as he nonchalantly went through an unconscious guard's wallet and took his money. With no further distractions, the thieves made their way to the vault room, where Orb Weaver waisted very little time setting up shop. The criminal hooked up his tablet to a key pad and began to type furiously on the device to extract the code he needed. Everything was going just as planned, with nary a flaw to be seen. Of course things had to go wrong. Orb Weaver turned to say something to one of his team only to have the words die in his throat as a security guard turned the corner. Everything seemed to run in slow motion, Orb weaver's blood ran cold as one of his team raised their rifle and fired, downing the guard with a three shot burst. Orb weaver sat stunned for a few moments before finally, "YOU IDIOT! I SAID DON'T SHOOT!" he snarled. "He would've called for backup, what was I supposed to do!?", Orb weaver let out a stream of profanity out of frustration. He'd been in jobs where people had gotten injured before sure, but murder was in a whole different league. It was too late to turn back though, with most of the code having been encrypted and deciphered. "Alright I want a perimeter set up until this is done, guard the door. Once it's open we fill our bags and get out. By now i'm sure someone's called the police.". Exactly as Orb weaver predicted, a few people having heard the gunshots had already pulled out their phones and dialed 911. Orb weaver continued his typing, pushing the thought of the dead man behind him out of his mind with some effort.
Great, would you all rather keep socializing or have the next class start?
Well Dimitri's taking Molly to the infirmary, and from what i've seen thus far the rest of the class has either left or are simply milling about and socializing. Might I suggest lunch/free period?
Orb Weaver tapped his foot idly on the floor of the van as he and his band of criminals arrived at their destination. "So we're all clear on the plan, right? No weapon fire unless you absolutely have to." he said as he eyed the crew warily. "We got it, alright? You're not the only professional here." The driver said as he drove around the bank and parked behind the building next to it, "Hey, i'm just making sure things go as they should. We're talking about a lot of money here." Orb Weaver said as he opened his bags and produced a tablet like device, a walkie talkie, and a Sig Sauer P226 with a silencer. As the driver unlocked the door, Orb weaver checked the magazine and racked the slide to ensure the breach was clear, then shoved the gun into his coat. He waited for the four men with him to shuffle out before jumping out himself. "Alright boys, the blueprints for the building are downloaded into each of your smart phones. I've set the surveillance cameras on a loop, got the pass code for the back door, and I should have the code for the vault a few minutes after we get to it.". One of the men turned to Orb weaver and glared, though the boy could hardly tell as everyone was wearing as mask, "Why don't you have the vault code now?" he rumbled, "Because the vault itself was put in after the bank was built. It wasn't a part of the blueprint, so I won't know what model we're dealing with until we get to it. Not all vaults are built alike.". The answer seemed to satisfy the thug, and with not another word spared, the group quietly made their way to the door. Orb weaver rolled his wrists with a bit of flourish and input the code for the electric lock on the door, nodding with satisfaction as the door clicked open. As the team started to go in, Orb weaver reached out and grabbed one of their shoulders, "One more thing. I may have disabled the alarms, but I can't do anything if someone tries to use their phones. Keep that in mind.". His warning given, the group entered the building discretely, keeping low and quiet as the peered around each corner before moving on.
Okay all I am officially back from vacation and able to be active again :D What did I miss?
Well the class has ended, James' team was the victor, Dizzy presumably got over her sickness and has returned, and now we're just doing our own things until the third class.
Despite Ryan coming over and giving his two cents about Dimitri and Molly's current conditions, Dimitri let out a soft chuckle but did not stop walking. "Eh, you can't win every fight you get into. Life doesn't work that way, y'know?" He said as he took a second to glance at his still sparking wrist before returning his gaze to Ryan, "Luckily for me I can't feel pain anymore. My biggest complaint is that these repairs'll probably take me the rest of the day once classes are over.".
