However if Nac's characters are comprised of something like tungsten carbide, then the chances of her teeth punching through are slim to none, and she'd better have a really good regenerative abilities. After all, the only thing harder than that particular alloy is diamond, biting that is a one way ticket to an orthodontist.

The question isn't whether or not she can bite through metal, but whether or not she can bite through whatever metal Nac's characters are comprised of. Not all metals are the same after all. Not to mention you've got an angry body trying not to get gnawed on under that metal.

Rachel informed me, just consider this a rude awakening :P. I won't have Jacque do anything particularly destructive, he just wants to make sure that the people that are supposed to keep the world from ending aren't going to be taken out by a tired guy who's spent the last few days traversing the sea non-stop.

Mateiu shrugged and jumped from the tree branch using the ones below him to slow his descent before finally landing on the ground with a soft grunt. Marianne seemed quite proud of her feats, however Mateiu was less enthused "Bears are alright...but if you want a real challenge, try taking on a hydra." he said as he brushed a few strands of hair from his face and went over to inspect the kill. The hunter pried open the beast's mouth and inspected the teeth, "They've got teeth a like this bear's canines. A bit thinner though, and much more numerous, not to mention they have multiple heads.". Mateiu released the bear's jaws and began to pressed along the lower jaws, "Nasty buggers also secrete a nasty toxin along with digestive enzymes. Can liquify you from the inside, kind of like a spider. Sounds like a fun hunt yes?" he asked with an excited grin.

Roughly half a kilometer from the castle that the group was calling their temporary home, the normally placid waters of a river began to thrash about and bubble wildly before a water funnel opened up. From the center a figure arose and examined its surroundings, stopping when it spotted the castle in the distance "So...that is were they've taken refuge..." the figure hissed. For days this person had travelled, crossing the ocean with speed unmatched by any aquatic vehicle above or below the sea as he'd tracked the spiritual aura of multiple powerful beings. It figured, he'd managed to avoid getting involved during the outbreak of the monstrous beings that had wreaked havoc a year ago, however, now something threatened to tear not just the world, but the entire dimension asunder meaning the time for sitting idly by was at an end. This man, Jacque Baila, sneered contemptuously, "This had better not be a waste of my time." he hissed. Jacque waved his hand upward and the funnel that swirled beneath him rose upward to encase his body, then began moving towards the castle, taking with it small a portion of the river. Jacque would put the people living in the castle to the test, he'd be doubly damned if he threw his hat in with a bunch of weaklings. The water continued to surge forward, every so often picking up debris as it made its way to the castle.

*takes a pic of marcus with Jacque's cellphone and sets it as his home screen* Hehehe....this is too much fun

Mateiu didn't quite know what to make of what happened within the last few seconds. One second the group was making light conversation, and the next, a strange woman bursted from the forest whilst riding a bear, then promptly decapitated it with a strange weapon, even more odd was that the woman seemed somewhat familiar to Mateiu. Mateiu flipped back onto the branch and crawled outward until he was perched over her, "Thats...quite an entrance...do I know you? I mean, are you like from the village?" he inquired. Mateiu's confusion only grew as another woman appeared behind Marianne and introduced herself as a wildlife and herb expert, 'I'll give her this much, she's right about there being odd acting people in this forest...' he mentally deadpanned as he waited for Marianne's response
