I just realized: how are you gonna breed if they're all female? No joke. I believe they edited the code so that all pokemon are female.

I'm 90% sure that you can't breed until after the E4 in firered anyway.

I usually go for powerful attacks rather than status effects and stat reductions/buffs. I'll likely have a monster that can put someone to sleep later though, for easy legendary catching... not sure about butterfree though. Parasect and it's false swipe and spores have always suited me well for that kind of thing.


Well I was also thinking having confusion for the geodudes in the next cave might be nice.

Catch a Caterpie, and evolve it into Butterfree. Make sure to keep the powder attacks when it learns them.
