Name: Abraham J. Swift
Union or Confederate: Confederate
Army's Name: 1st Tennessee Infantry
Character Backstory: Born on a wealthy plantation in West Tennessee, the son of a wealthy Tennessee congress man. Abraham lived a easy life having all the comforts of a wealthy southerner at his finger tips. At a young age Abraham became married to Ruth Allen. Shortly after this marriage Abraham attended West Point and after graduation said a farewell to his wife and left to be an officer in the Mexican-American war. When Abraham returned he no longer had the aura of someone had a life of luxury, he returned a somber, withdrawn man. After the war Abraham returned to his plantation in Tennessee were he had hoped that he could have lived out the rest of his days in peace with his wife. But as fate would have it Abraham was called to war again, this time defending his homeland.
Age: 43
Experiences in military: Officer in Mexican-War, West Point graduate.
Appearance: Standing 6'1 with a heavy brow. Dark eye lashes and hair. Dull brow eyes. Wearing a embroidered confederate officer uniform with a saber at his side.

Oh I intend to join this RP thats why my co-GM Dakco will be Union so nothing would be unfair. But I could have a general on the confederacy and still be Davis and Dakco could have a general and be Lincoln?

Im not to keen on this idea. This RP does not have to be a representation of real life so I would like to just keep it to the military.

Out of interest if someone doesn't claim a historical general will they still be in as a NPC?

I would prefer it not to be but for instance if you wanted to divide your army you could send a NPC subordinate to lead a force but you would still RP their actions.

You can use historical Generals but you can also make your own.
