If I can't get a post up within 12 hours from now, just assume that Soni made a subtle attempt to distance himself from the group before Zeke arrived

@joeycbeesounds like fun! Lol, let's see if we can speed it up
Night sure was difficult to travel without some kind of light source. Not only that, but Samuel was also hefting around a 5 gallon bucket full of water and fish. He had been raiding fish stores all day, determined to save as many aquatic slaves as possible. He simply could not tolerate their deaths because of the humans incompetence. Anyways, he had been planning on taking these particular fish to the ocean. They were salt water, and were matched correctly to the nearest source of salt water. What he did not anticipate was how long it would take him to get to the ocean, with the undead and utter chaos and all. The sun had set before he could deliver the fish to freedom, so he now found himself looking for shelter. He found himself searching way too long.

The streets around him were relatively quiet, only the footsteps of the occasional infected could be heard. Shapes were harder to make out in the dark, and Samuel had increasingly relying on hearing to navigate through the darkness. He had already gotten into multiple close calls, and if it weren't for his slow speed due to the 5 gallon bucket he likely would have slammed into the undead. He could definitely say for sure that they were blind, but he didn't want to see if he could get away with physical contact.

As he drew closer to what sounded like a commotion, he had to dodge more of them. They were all around him, moaning and groaning, being generally creepy. Several times he had to duck rapidly just to dodge an outstretched arm. By the time he found himself inside some kind of hotel, he was glad that he could finally rest. It had been a tough day, and he was physically exhausted.

Voices. His exhaustion was rapidly replaced with adrenalin. Humans were much more dangerous than the undead. The undead were predictable, humans were not. He had already seen several gangs formed that were wreaking general havoc and rioting. He had barely made it out with his fish alive after a certain interaction with them. He did not want to meet them now, and so he decided to quickly retreat into the shadows. He would fight to his last breath to defend the fish, for they needed a guardian who could stand up to protect their right to live.
