Shit, guys, I'm absolutely swamped this weekend. Definitely not gonna be able to post today and tomorrow. I might have to pull out, cause I probably won't be able to even remotely keep up :/
Yeah, agreed. A three post buffer before posting again seems to be working pretty well. I think I've got one more post in me, then I'm hitting the hay.
And then there was just the boulder, instantly turning the inn into a warzone. A jagged brick flung itself through the room, hitting Sonia in the shoulder. Had she not been toppled over by the shaking of the building, it would have hit her squarely between the eyes. Through the dust rising from the sizeable hole in the wall, Sonia spotted whatever had thrown the rock. Ugly fucking...

Unsteadily, she got to her feet. A few people seemed to have been struck by rubble, but many of the inn's patrons—those who hadn't been summoned here by the Crimson Company—were strewn about the room, mostly unharmed. Old instincts came over her. She'd have to get them out. She glanced over at one of her new allies, one of the elves, who'd just entered the room on her bloody horse. She seemed to be looking for survivors as well. Sonia whistled at her, unsuccessfully at first because of dust in her mouth. She spat two times and whistled again.

"Oi! Over here!" she shouted, gesturing at a group of people caught beneath—and likely saved by—a round table. She'd need help getting that off them.
Don't worry, I don't think they'll be going down that easily. I'm heading to bed soon anyway, so that leaves plenty of time for you to get on it!
Excitement!
Sonia plucked the proffered mug of ale from the table. "Thanks," she said to the back of his head; he'd already turned his attention back to whatever he'd been doing. Can't blame him, she thought. Situation's awkward enough as it is.

Still, at least a few of them looked to be getting on well already. The man with the harp (Elvish? Half?) seemed to actually be paying the bartender for a chance to impress the half-naked woman with his music. They'd be fucking within the week, she decided, not without a twang of jealousy.

She sipped her ale as he played. He was talented, for certain. Enough to be able to make a living without risking his life as a mercenary. In fact, a lot of them didn't seem to fit here. Then again, she supposed nobody was forcing her to be here. Whatever they were going to do, it apparently took all kinds. She'd have to at least wait to hear what this was all about.

A women—angry looking, very beautiful—called for the bard to quit it already. Sonia grinned at her.

"Not a fan?"
Hey, Heat? I was wondering—do you have any thoughts on religion in Sironde? I figure it must've crossed your mind, and I think Sonia might be the kind of lady to believe in a god (or gods?).

Now for Sipley's general unpleasantness to rear its ugly head (:< I love having a character that's so disagreeable.

I'm lovin' her. I think she and Sonia are gonna have a lot of fun.
Yeah, this all sounds great. Let's do this!

I'll speak to the gm about it, but I don't want to be stuck in a position that doesn't benefit others or myself. Like I said, there are others who would fill my position as well.

Yeah, of course. No reason to stay in an RP with a posting frequency you're not comfortable with. Could be those of us who can't/don't post more than once a day are in the minority. We'll see ^_^

Please don't leave on account of activity, I am sure that when the GM comes on, we can find a happy medium. I am fine with making one-to-two posts a day.

Yeah, I'm sure we can figure out something.
