Operation Hell's Fury(Reboot)

As Junko got out from under him, Spartan pushed himself up, lifting the fallen wooden and metal beams that fell on him effortlessly before throwing them back, despite the growing roar of flames getting closer to them Spartan remained calm as he dusted his right shoulder off from the splintered wood chips that fell on him as Junko spoke
"that would be the smart thing to do, lets go" Spartan said to Junko as he made for the back exit of the now destroyed store. A metal beam had fallen in the way, Spartan grabbed hold of the beam and lifted it over his head, lodging it against the wall so the debris it was holding wouldn't come crashing down, he turned to look back at Junko as he opened the door
"ladies first" he said with a slight smile, though he was being polite, it was also to be sure that what was left the ceiling wouldn't give way over Junko without him being there to stop it from doing so

Eve let out a relived sigh when she seen Spartan open the door to the shop, Magnus simply gave a slightly amused huff that he hadn't got his shirt damaged from the blast , Magnus then looked down an alleyway that gave him a slight view of the market, it seemed that people had started returning to the marking, though making sure to keep their distance from the shop that was now in a full blaze in the front, the sound of sirens filled the air, oddly enough they sounded relatively familiar to the fire fighter sirens back on earth
.
As Kore-Drax walked towards the market he passed two individuals that looked just like the same people that had been captured like he had been just a while ago, they were heading towards the dry dock. Kore-Drax had to grin to himself as he continued to head towards the shop he'd been captive in earlier, he had the suspicion they were heading towards the pirate ship he'd cleared out to use it as a means of leaving this orbital nation. But they'd be in for a shock when they find out that they needed the keys, one of which he had.
It did come to his mind that they could possibly have looted the other key needed from the pirates at the shop which he assumed to be dead, in which case if he didn't find it at the shop, he'd hunt them down for it, but he'd likely not have to for they might come looking for him for the same reason which would save him the trouble of doing so. As Kore-Drax continued on, he came across three more individuals, all of which had been in captivity with him a while ago, he walked by them slightly narrowing his eye's, he'd have to remember them in case one of them possibly had the other key on them. As he made it to the shop he wasn't really surprised to see it going up in flames, firefighters had arrived to try to put out the blaze.
Kore-Drax narrowed his eye's as he recalled how many Pirates had herded them through the market to the shop, as he tallied up how many there should be the fire was close to being put out, soon the authorities would be here as the firefighters packed up their equipment. He took the opportunity to enter the destroyed shop without being noticed and start searching the bodies of dead pirates. The back of the shop had been completely blocked off so he'd have to sneak around back before the authorities got there, as Kore-Drax searched he found nothing on any of the dead pirate except for burnt cloths and damaged weapons.
All the dead pirates in the front of the shop had been thoroughly searched, besides a few credits here and there he didn't take anything else, with a sigh he got up from crouching over a burnt body and made his way to the front entrance. As the sound of police sirens began to be heard Kore-Drax backed away from the entrance, to his luck a hole had been blown in the side of the shop from a stray grenade that had gone off when the explosion happened. He slipped through the hole into the alleyway and made his way to the back of the shop, only to stop around the corner when he seen a metal beast laying down near the back entrance of the shop.
Kore-Drax immediately dived back behind the corner and peeked around it to observe the beast, it wasn't in a cage, it wasn't chained up and it wasn't going berserk, then he noticed someone on it's neck, just sitting there as if she was waiting for someone without the slightest hint of fear in her from being on the beast. The girl didn't look very threatening, but the beast she was on did, it was huge, it's teeth and claws looked like they could pierce through any armor. Instead of running the possibility of getting eaten Kore-Drax remained in the shadow of the alleyway and waited for them to move on so he may enter what remained of the shop to search for the other key to the ship

I regret...well...nothing actually. I at least admit I need to pay more attention. Though I find myself wondering something: Where do we go from here? I could either have Jacque continue on his merry way or notice the sound of people coming out of the remains of the shop and turn back to go help them.

weren't Jacque and Rachel heading towards a certain pirate ship that brought them to orbital nation? X3

the dead pirates were being used by Jacque as undead puppets and made them pull the pins on their grenade belts making them and the shop go boom, not knowing that our characters were still inside =3

well if this helps, Junko was with Spartan, the shop got exploded by grenades from dead pirates that were being controlled like puppets, so Spartan tackled Junko to the floor just before the explosion went off and saved her =3

what happened

As Spartan told anyone left in the store about the back exit his eye's widened slightly when he caught a glimpse of a pirate through the door window that led to the front of the shop, he grit his teeth when he seen the pirate lift a belt of grenades and pull the pin off one, that sound, the ever so quiet sound of a pin being pulled from a grenade echoed through the door and into Spartan's ears, every other sound had faded out as he heard it, he heard more pins being pulled just milliseconds apart, there was more then one pirate doing this, on instinct Spartan tensed up as he got ready to act
"Get Down!" Spartan exclaimed as he turned around as fast as he could and tackled Junko to the floor all in the time it took for one to blink their eye, then the deafening boom of multiple grenades going off followed by the sound of glass shattering and wood splintering barraged the ears of anyone left in the shop as the ceiling gave in and collapsed from the force of the blasts, the raging roar of the flames soon followed as smoke began to flow to what remained of the ceiling, filling what remained of the shop with suffocating black smoke, blocking any source of light, Spartan opened his eye's with teeth grit, cyan blue light came from his eye's illuminating the small space he and Junko were trapped in, fallen wooden beams were pressing down on Spartan's back as he began to push himself off Junko
"hey, are you okay? are you hurt?" he asked in a serous tone as the sound of something collapsing not that far away from them caught his ear

Alice was to angered to listen to Orin and R'yak as she grit her teeth at Hale's words, she slowly and dangerously slipped by Orin and R'yak before approaching Hale with her fists clenched
"you didn't do sh*t?..., I watched the recordings of my labs outside cameras on my way here..., you attacked My lab, killed My scientists, and for what?, to challenge an injured saiyan to a fight?!" Alice exclaimed as she stopped less then two feet away from Hale, glaring directly into her eye's through her helmet's visor as electricity jumped around her body
"personally, I think punching you in the face was the least I should have done to you after what you did..." Alice said venomously
"and you don't deserve to 'Get Even' your the one at fault here..." she said sternly, her fists tightening as electricity jumped around them
