Hrm, yeah, I s'pose, though I remember last time, people had some questions about that. :P I think if it's short range, it's fine, though they seemed an awful lot like Glyphs at first glance, LP posted something to that effect as well. :P
Alright, so, to get it down, all the general things Aura can do are: Make shields, heal wounds, bolster physical capabilities, and can give you a better sense of your surroundings.
For shields, it's personal as well as short range, and will reflect the color of the person.
For healing, deeper and more serious wounds require more Aura, but a person can decide what to heal themselves; You can also heal another person if you have physical contact.
Physical capabilities, obviously things like strength, jumping, and speed.
Sense of surroundings, it's so you're aware of things to interact with in the fight, and moving quickly doesn't disorient as much as normal; Also, for very talented Aura users, they can send a pulse of Aura around them, to find Grimm that are nearby by feeling for emptiness around them. Not a super long range, but it's for what Pyrrha was saying when she said it's part of the feeling you have when someone's watching you.
Now, some people's Semblances are related to these things as well, in which case, their prevalent abilities are more potent and enhanced, as they're more attuned to their specific use of Aura.
Does that work with people? Just to make things clear, as the show lacks info on stuff like this.
