Current Time is an interested concept, how it moves and yet stays still all the same. Flowing and stagnant. Anyways, just stopped by to refresh myself on an old character.

Ha, past me thought eight months too long to go without a status update. Now it has been ten! Anyways, I've D&D things to work on, so I'll get back to that.

Mercy it's been eight months since my last status, perhaps it is time to find a RP and get a spot more active for awhile.

Just finished Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid. It's always such a bittersweet feeling to finish a show, more so a good one.

I feel tempted to ask if I can post my character in the CHAR yet.

Jedi Knight Betorn reporting.
Name: Eric Betorn

Species: Vahla

Appearance: Eric is a dusty tan, 1.9 meter tall man with white hair and light blue/purple eyes. He is lean, showing very little muscle and wears traditional brown robes common to the order. He wears his hair short and is without facial hair, and keeps himself tidy. (I will look for an image, tis not easy)

Rank: Jedi Knight

Lightsaber:

Eric uses a blue bladed saber

Physical ability: Eric is about as strong as a regular human, with downright extreme reflexes, and due to species is unnaturally flexible.

Mental/Force ability: As a Vahla, Eric has an innate connection to the force, the darkside in particular. Focusing on the combative uses of the force, Eric is skilled mostly in force augmentation, using it to extend his combative longevity and speed. He is however also adept with force pushes and pulls though he uses them sparingly and bluntly. Eric doesn't put much thought behind his strategies, instead treating large fights as a complicated game of rock paper scissors and relying mostly on instinct in one on one engagements.

Dueling ability: Eric has mastered Soresu, while not to the level of Master Kenobi. Eric has also trained in and is adept in Ataru, switching to it the moment his enemy shows sign of tire. Due to the rigors of the Clone Wars he has learned to incorporate blast deflection into his technique, allowing him to defend against the droid forces he has had to fight far to often.

Other skills: Eric is a negotiator, often attempting to speak with those he fights mid battle in an attempt to either end the conflict or at least present an opening for Eric to exploit. He finds that he has some skill with desiccating his opponent's weaknesses and fears and capitalizing on them.

Brief Backstory: Born a Vahla, Eric would have never been found by the Jedi had his parents not made a bad call. They were pirates, and attempted a boarding action on a small freighter. What they didn't expect to find was the Jedi master Qui-gon Jin. The pirates killed Eric was found in a small closet aboard the pirate ship. The Jedi master could sense the potential of the infant, and brought the boy to the Jedi Temple to be raised there. Eric was brought up with no knowledge of his parents, and very little knowledge of his race. Instead he was brought up on the traditions of the Jedi, Eric becoming enraptured with the idea of protecting the entire galaxy.

When he was fourteen he became apprenticed to Coleman Trebor, a famous diplomat among the order and the galaxy at large. Under the training of the Vurk Jedi Eric became skilled with wordplay, though the Vahla made sure to keep up his combative skills with his master. Eric followed his master to Geonosis and watched as the Clone Wars began, watched while he master was gunned down by Jango Fett, and despite it all, survived. Because of this he was knighted and soon joined the fray against the Separatist, acting as a diplomat whenever possible however.
Having a hard time finding a suitable master for my character, I'm sorry for the delay.
I shall make a knight then, the only question would be their master, would it best to pick a character already existing in the canon or to come up with a new one to serve as my knights previous master?
Hmm... I am intrigued, always loved Star Wars. I'll try to get a sheet up today, along with my other obligations to RPs on this site.
Perhaps I should post. Perhaps, if not for how tired I am. Granted I've been tired all day. I suppose a mind damn near shattering will do that.

I'll post tomorrow, or perhaps far later then I should be up tonight I've yet to decide between the two.
I'm sorry, I'm in pieces, at the tip of a hat I could go on a murderous rampage or lie in a corner and cry half my body weight. I can't do this today.
Heh, teams. There's a lot of students, and teachers are partaking. Some people will even likely go solo. And only one single team unit of no more then six student, four students and a teacher, two students and two teachers, or three teachers can turn in a single artifact.

It's not like there's only twenty four students vying for this, some people might have to get hurt, and some will never leave the library trying to find the answer.

Worth asking though, I assume classes are more or less canceled for the next two weeks?
I know the answer to three of these riddles now.

Three of them I would have never figured out, simply because I knew nothing of the myth they are born from.

One I could have found, knew how to find, but I did not receive

The last I could have maybe gotten, because all it would take is having a merry conversation with A and then pulling a clever trick that totally wouldn't fail. But alas I did not get stuck with that one either, and so I despair.

I despair, I could never have found the answer to the one that mattered to me, and so I broke. My mind shattered and is only starting to form up together again. I had to have the answer fed to me, and for that I feel unworthy. I despair, and am sorry.

But f*** it I've been in worse, none of you know what happened to the last Arthur I played as before this one. That candle had it far worse, it will take more then a riddle to do away with me or Arthur Wick, named after another, named after another.
