About Me:
I started roleplaying around age 12, giving me about 11 years experience. I'm a hobby writer who makes subpar fantasy and sci-fi novels on the side and have dabbled in the world of light novels to give my drawing skills a bit of practice. I'm by no means a professional or even really a 'good' writer, but I do try my hardest. Unfortunately, I am a very busy person so I often simply don't have the time to put the level of quality revision and editing into my posts that I'd like. That said, I am committed to creating the best experience for my fellow roleplayers when I join their RPs. I am a busy person, however, so know that I may drop an RP if I become unable to devote any more significant time into it.

I mostly take part in Fantasy RPs and Nation RPs. While I enjoy romance side plots in other RPS I do, I generally don't do Romance focused RPs except on occasions. I am okay to do Romance RPs on 1x1, however, note that I usually have to be in a particular mood for these RPs so I am not always up for doing them. For this reason, when I want to do such roleplay, I seek out a partner myself. I am fine with writing mature/18+ scenes, however, I typically find them boring and uninteresting to write (sorry, I'm not much of an erotica writer). As stated above, I am LGBT and Trans friendly, so LGBT Romance subplots and RPs are totally fine by me.

In terms of characters, I'm most likely to roleplay women, as I am one, though I can roleplay any gender. I enjoy exploring the characters and fleshing them out as they grow in the setting.

I am often told that I can come off as rude, and while I like to play it up a bit and be something of a tsundere, and I am trying to work on it, but please note that I am not much of a social person, even on the online realm, and I may take a while to respond to messages or not give you a very detailed response. Feel free to message me for purposes related to the RPs we are mutually a part of, though. I love to discuss things concerning the games to give them a more interconnected and realistic feeling.

As stated above, I have dyslexia, and it can be a pain in the ass sometimes. Don't be afraid to point out mistakes in my writing, I have a tendency to misspell, and I want to be made aware if it's particularly bad. I also speak a variety of languages, and if you are interested in RPing in a language other than English, I am more than happy to do so. Check out my Langauge Competencies list to see what I am capable of using.

My interests are High Fantasy, Historical Fiction, Nation Games, Alternate History, and Video Games. I'm not crazy about Anime, but I watch a few here and there, but I'm hardly the person to go on a long discussion on Anime about (I don't really see it as much different than any other animation, sorry.), same with Manga. However, don't go all weeb on me, I'm part-Japanese sansei myself, so obsession with and fetishization of Japan and Japanese people annoys the shit out of me and if you do it I will likely have a few strong words to say to you before I block you. No, I don't care if you're also Japanese. In that case, you're not a weeb, you're just a dime-a-dozen nationalist and that's even worse in my eyes.

Anyway, I hope to have some enjoyable RPs with you all. Let's have some fun.

Lugseach

Everyone in Gaillimh knew that their own native girl and moderately famous mystery writer Lugseach NicAonguis NíTuathail liked to stop by her hometown for a hike in the nearby hills and clear her mind from the stresses of life. A deadline not more than a week ahead and threats from her publisher to drop her entirely if this book flops. Ugh, things didn't look to good. Lugseach sat herself upon a nearby stump and lit up a cigarette as she looked around.

Gaillimh changed so much since she was last there. Manannán Mac Lir had blessed the city with gold and furs among other things in the olden days when the New World was found. It remained an important city for Éire, allowing them to control the western seas and keep Dál Riata away from supremacy. That made Lugseach feel good, knowing that Neither the other Ireland nor their Saxon allies would ever threaten them again. With Cymru back on its feet and the Lords of Engeland at its mercy, all she had to worry about was rent.

Right, that was why she was here after all. Lugseach stamped out the cigarette and went to continue her hike until a glimmering stone caught her eye.

"By Danu, what is that..." Lugseach spoke to herself as she inspected the glimmering item. It wasn't very large, but it stood out like a sore thumb in the forest. "I'm suprised no one has taken this yet" the girl said with a smirk as she went to pick up the rock. "With my luck the damn stone will be a stolen treasure" she giggled as she wrenched it free of the tangled grasses.

With that, everything suddenly began to go dark for her. Sickness took hold as her stomach wrenched and a ringing and her own heartbeat as all she can hear. The darkness gives way to brilliant light that rush forward ever faster and faster before blending into one burst of shimmering gleam before Lugseach finds herself on the ground, sick to her stomach and dizzy as all hell.

"aaa....mo cheann.." the writer uttered as she lifts herself, the free hand cradling her own head as she waits for everything to blur back into normal. "An bhfuil duine éigin liom anseo?" she utters out, still a bit dizzy to quite make out anyone around her aside from vague shadows of what would likely be people. It was cold, but she was lucky to be in her favorite jacket, dating back from her days with the Army when they were invading Engeland. It still fit just right, she didn't feel so drowned in it like when she was in Caerdydd. That being said, the snow hurt her face, and the cold winds weren't helping much to ease the stinging. Starting to get here bearings straight, Lugseach began walking towards the figures and what looked to be a cabin of some sort. Smoke was good, smoke meant someone was inside.

NAME
Luigsech NicAonguis NíTuathail

ABSTRACT:
A struggling mystery novel writer and former soldier who lives a bitter life on the Island Republic of Éire. She doesn't know what Rome is.

DETAIL:
In Luigsech's world, the Roman Republic destroyed Carthage, but failed to get on its own feet, leaving the Celtic and Germanic cultures of Europe to work on their own, with many empires, kingdoms, republics and chiefdoms emerging in the long history of this new word. Éire is one of these Republics. Lugsech was born on the Island of Éire in the year 1922 around the city of Tara, Luigsech found herself stuck a tense environment as the Great Wars broke out in her young adulthood, 1945. Recruited to defend Éire and sent on the invasion of Englaland, the most dangerous opponent in Albion. Crossing through the war ravaged country of Cymru to meet with her Albian allies as they began the attacks on various cities, but ultimately the 3 year long war between the Celtic and Germanic nations ended without any real change. Luigsech never knew just what was going on, only that the Kingdom of Theudiska was making excuses to start a culture war; they got their chance by attacking Cantabria and Alba's ally, Polska. Now 25 years old, Luigsech is out of the military and trying to make a living in Dubh Linn, writting novels and hiking to both clear her head and get inspiration. It just so happened that this time she wouldn't be coming back home for a while. She looks something like this.

Constantinople, Roman Empire

"How much have we made so far, Helgi?"

Helgi Svartönnar, so named for his wonderfully decaying teeth received due to a mouth injury in a raid on Ireland so long ago, turned to face his leader and partner in this incursion to the great city of Miklagarðr, Sigbjörn Bláserkr himself.

Not more than 3 months ago, the Blue-Shirts conducted a sucessfull raid on Eoforwic, taking with them more than enough loot to get what they needed from the merchants here in Roman Territory. Whatever they could provide would be much better than Saxon crafts. The nice little pay they got for joining the Romans in the battle they've been having with some eastern powers helped in getting nicer armor and weapons too.

"I was able to get us some mail armors and very nicely crafted swords", the older Helgi spoke, handing over one of the two steel blades to his leader, who inspected the sword and smiled at Helgi's well picked merchandise.

"I take it we have an offer?" Helgi asked to his companion

"Yes, we do", Sigbjörn replied, affixing the new sword and scabbard to his belt. "The Romans, they have a little problem comming from the east,"

"Oh? A little problem? I don't think Romans get little problems", Helgi replied as Sigbjörn chuckled a bit

"Indeed, but I don't think it will be too much for us anyways." he remarked as the two made their way towards the docks to meet yet another Norseman in the city. Egill of Uppsula, who truly lived up to his namesake; the greatest archer in all of the Blue-Shirt Army.

"Egill, We should begin moving further south, towards the Levantine Area. That's where the fighting is going on."

"Alright, Ivarsson." Egill said as he and the others went over to get the rest of the army, most of whom had already begun making their ways to the boats but some who had to be tracked down and brought back from the wonders of Miklagarðr and her exquisite buildings and sights.

The Blue-Shirts came from all walks of life. Most were Rus, a tribe that had carved its way into the high social places of the Baltic, yet others were from the other Swede tribes, some were Geats, Finns, Balts, Danes, Slavs or even Germans. Men and Women alike were on the longships, though men did indeed outnumber their female raiders by a great bit. Bound by Loyalty, Oaths, the search for Glory, Valhalla, or just money brought them here, and they all served under the great Sigbjörn Ivarsson; some even serving under his father Ivar Geirrson the Blue-Shirted before he was slain by the Slavs of Kiev in a failed raid.

This would be Sigbjörn's glorious campaign, with the blessings of the Allfather upon him and his army they would return the greatest among all the Swedes. This would be were the name Blue-Shirt would be made or broken.

On his signal, the Longships of the Blueshirts took off and out to the Mediterranian, to meet their destiny in Antioch and beyond. A cachophony prayers to Tyr, Thor, Odin and Freyr echoed across the various ships as they began their journey across the wine dark sea to meet their fate in a far away land.
Leader Name:
Sigbjörn "Bláserkr" Ivarsson

Faction Name:
The Blue-Shirt Army (Old Norse: Bláserka Hirð)

Map Province:
No Provinces; Currently in Constantinople, scouting for employment opportunities and trading

History/Bio:
The Norse peoples first entered into history following their numerous raids across the North and Baltic Seas. Taking advantage of the chaotic state that the Huns and migrations of Germanic peoples had left the region in. Though Frisia and Britannia had been common targets, a favorite was the Baltic, which was now grealy weak and in complete uproar after the migration period. Various Swedish tribes took advantage of this weakness to begin raiding and colonizing the Baltic Coast, gaining access to the complex river system that let the explorers travel further inland, and opening up direct trade routs with the Roman Empire via the Daugava and Dneiper Rivers leading to the Black Sea.

Trade has Made the swedish tribes some of the most powerful in Scandinavia, alongside the danes to its south; but while the Danish trade with and raid the West, The Swedes looks east to the Rivers leading it to Rome. A particularly powerful tribe being the Rus, who have begun extensive trading missions from the Baltic, selling their goods and their services as mercenaries. One of these mercenary bands are the Blue-Shirts, known as the Bláserka Hirð, or simply the Bláserkar in their own language. Founded by the nobleman Ivar Blueshirt of Kalmar, this band of mercenaries, around 3-4 thousand strong on average, consisted of Ivar's most trusted companions, including his own son, Sigbjörn. Well known among the kings of Europe, the Blue Shirts have earned their reputation as fearsome warriors and well trained soldiers, who are worth their price to hire.

With the death of Ivar only 11 years ago, Sigbjörn has taken control of his father's land and titles, including the constituents of the Blue-Shirt army, who currently spend most of their time in the Rus territories of the Baltic at home, tending to their farms and trades until a call is made to them for employment.
