Ira didnt even bother to look back. She kept going until she got to her bike and headed back to the Institute. Between David and Stark the collateral damage would be ridiculous and she wanted no part of that. Magnus and Heidi meant there were at least too rational thinkers but that didnt really count for much when the other three involved could throw automobiles. oh well. it was no longer her problem. David might be a little upset with her but her students come first this time.
Ira and Magnus were friends/training partners, i imagine. so he would be a familiar brainwave. but as for reading Divinity's mind...shes a nut job. there is little cohesion to her thoughts. thats why we kept using words like crazy and psycho. telepaths cant read those kinds of minds easily and their attacks are often unpredictable because of the psychopathy.

there are two images for Divinity on her CS
Question: why does everyone think that thinking to a telepath makes them able to hear you. did i miss some sort of announcement about that cuz i feel like they dont actively listen out for everyone. if they cant control it they hear everything at once but if they can control it they definitely wont hear it... or am I wrong?
Ira glanced up at magnus "um... your late" she said out loud "Seriously late. she's already contained...for now anyway. everyone keeps giving her more and more attention but im leaving. theres enough of you here and i got thing to do" now that it was a small crowd of heroes and mutants ira felt a bit more comfortable leaving. Divinity was wearing armor so David should be able to handle her well enough. she turned to leave
"clerk wouldnt sell her a Bag. she says she's a god...the Usual NY scene stuff. " Ira shrugged like it wasnt that serious.
Ira put her hand in her forehead. she didnt respond to the question. just shook her head when David put Divinity in a metal sphere. it was a horrible idea. and if she didnt think the psycho chick would potentially kill someone she would have walked away without a word.

"...so Mr Stark, your paying for those cars he just used right. lets get this straight now before he catches a lawsuit helping an Avenger. "
Ira probably should have warned David about the girls powers...but he just interrupted her fight so she was slightly bitter about it. "we will have to shop together another time. i'm sure i'll see you around. "
this was reminding Ira of her teenagers. bundles of anger and hormones. the option to wear her out wasnt likely. ira was likely to tire mentally before Divinity tired physically. Ira didnt like altering peoples minds but she might have to before the property damage got to high.

"are you done? i have shoes to shop for"
good news telepathy works on her...bad news.... shes charging like a bull on steroids.

"i'm not in your head" she lied... well it wasnt technically a lie. she wasnt in her head any more. though suddenly she wished she had done more tactile telekinesis training. oh well. no time for that now. there was a raging bull to deal with. head on would be a catasttophe so Ira got smart. using her telekinesis she made an invisible ramp that Divinity would run up and over her...and then fall off.
"well your half right." Ira dropped the 'knife' and it shattered into butterflies. with a practiced twist of her own wrist, she freed herself from the wrist hold and pulled Divinity toward her. she put her other hand a on her chest plate...and telekinetically blasted her into the air. "let me guess. durability as well" strength speed, most likely agility and durability as well. nothing too special about this one. the only unknown was her limits to each. she took a step back in anticipation, to be ready for almost anything.
