Personality: Geo is a bit of a Wild card. While he is undeniable strong, having trained his whole life, he isn’t a people person. He prefers wild life to human life any day of the week. He is hailed as a hero though he honestly hates the praise.

Ira nodded. she had all the respect in the world for Magneto as well as Prof X. two men with indomitable wills. opposite sides of the same goal always butting heads but never forgetting where they came from. "there are going to be times when you are confronted because you are a mutant. Like my friend here said you dont have to fight them. the first course of action should be resolution...but thats not usually possible. so today is self defense with multiple unarmed attackers. again no powers. whats the rule?"

"we play fair even if they dont." one student answered. he was correct even though Ira didnt personally agree with the idea.... school rules

"how much damage?" Ira asked

"none" they all answered

"begin!" out of each group a child backed away while the rest closed in. it was a common drill so Ira wasnt too concerned but she kept an eye out for cheaters

"so Jean" she spoke telepathically "what are we really goin to do about this MRA (mutant registration act)?"

Ira smiled at jean but the bell required her to start her class before she got the chance to speak. it didnt take her telepathy to notice that the class was already on edge. since the school was a public safe haven for mutants some didnt feel quite safe. which honestly was a fair feeling.

"As most of you seem to be aware the government is making a law that says we "should" register our names. but this isnt a politics class, this isnt a history class so i wont speak much of the issue. but i would like to remind each and every one of you" Ira motioned for Jean to come and join her at the front of the room "the reason this school was opened many years ago by Professor charles Xavier was to teach gifted children like yourselves, like us that we are not cursed. year after year we kept our doors open to anyone one the quest of self discovery. and over the years some have chosen become heroes, some have chosen to become villians. each one of you, each one of us will have to make a choice. this school will not make that choice for you. we will guide you and hope for you and even pray for you but the choice was and always will be yours."

a girl in the third row raises her hand "but ms Psi what if we make the wrong choice?"

ira smiled "I'm glad you asked. if you stand by your choice it will never be the wrong choice. others may not agree, some may try to stop you, good or other. but if its what you believe in you fight for it. now then. squad up. groups of four. 3 on 1's. no powers "

'' im at the school still." she responded to Jean "we still have class and i imagine the students arent going to like the news at all" infact she expected a class divided. most of the mutants at the school had some real bad experiences being a mutant. they would be outraged by the act. but some others might not be so opposed to it. it could be seen asa away to stop the pain. a way to come out, so to speak, and to be allowed to conform to the majority....like all teen agers tend to want...

Ira sipped her coffee as she listened to the ridiculousness on her smartphone. It was so pathetic it was almost funny. A homo sapien government trying to control a homo superior population. in doing so treating the latter as if the only thing that entitles them to their civil rights is a signature. they act as though they forgot that first mutant registration act and how that went... or the more tactful super hero registration act and the borderline civil war that that started. "history america... you can learn from it" she mumbled to herself as she looked at the 65/35 ratio of support. "that 35 probably represent mutants both good and bad" put her mug down.

Ira always had a unique view of politics. alls it would take was one telepath to make all this go away but even among the bad guys no one ever got the urge to do go to capital hill and telepathically force the president to vito the bill. clearly she opposed the bill but wasnt "allowed" to do anything about it....yet. with that she turned off her phone and went to find Jean.

powers: Like her mother she is a telepath/kinetic. Neither of which abilities are mastered however. As she continues to train and hone her abilities she is finding that she is a stronger telekinetic than she is a telepath. While her telepathy is “normal” and her range of influence is about two miles.
But when it comes to her telekenisis it’s a bit non traditional. When it comes to lifting and moving objects her limit is a small sports car but the effort drains her. she shows signs of tactile telekines (making her self stronger via tk) but she literally has no control of it. what she can do that is so unique is that she can create physical things out of psi energy. At this point doing so takes effort and she has not reached her mothers level of dexterity in the art. At current the biggest thing she can make is a dagger (where as her mother can make a sword that can cut through armor with little thought and make constructs that can be used by others)
With these constructs she use her mothers “signature” ability the psychic knife. At current it takes a lot of focus and concentration to create this . it allows her direct access into the victims mind but the prep time makes it useless in a confrontation for now. She can make a throwing knife but that does the same thing but that takes even more consentration.

Personality: Ira is a social butterfly. She enjoys people but often feels bad for reading other peoples thought unintentionally. Because of this she is a really great secret keeper. She Loves purple

short Bio: until she began having what her mother called “telepath headaches” he lived with her mother. The beautiful betty Braddock raised her daughter well…via martial arts. Being the daughter of one of the worlds best assassins means you learn early to defend yourself. The constant moving was hard on Ira but she internalized the sadness of never making lasting friendships.
When her powers showed, around age 12, she knew what was going to happen next. Life would get harder. Her mother made no secret of her own powers so when it came time for Ira to learn she brought her to the Xavier Institute. That way Ira would have Stability as well as safety in her training. Ira wasn’t fond of the idea of leaving her mother but the idea that she could have friends compelled her to accept the change.
In the 9 years since coming to the school she has grown up and gotten a bit radical but concidering the govt. is trying the mutant registration thing again…that might not be a bad thing.

Can she be the TA for a combat class. Shes a bit too old to be a student I think. If not its cool
Psylock is a ninja so theres a good chance she was trained from an early age in the ways of the ninja.
