The guards had been standing outside the gates to the Squad 1 barracks doing their duty of guarding...which...was obvious, they then saw one Shinigami come up to them then another shortly after which made the guards look at eachother and raise an eye brow. They listened to what the two said then allowed them in and showed them to the Head Captains office and told them to knock and wait to be told to enter and that once they did they should show great respect and manners if they wish to leave here alive...

Giovanni Knocked on the door. since he had arrived he could feel the head captains spiritual pressure. It was so monstrous but controlled. Like a beast Laying in weight, patiently to destroy its preys existence in an instant. The closer he got the more it weighed on his shoulders. No one else around him seemed to be bothered by it. maybe they were just used to it. or maybe they were just Strong enough to handle it.

He had pondered last night why the elements chose to separate them by gender, especially since the one female was an adult. maybe they only had faith in their magic and not their self control. go figure. anyway pancakes kept his attention

And just like that, there it was. that spark in Iggy that she always admired. There was a flaw in his logic but she already knew it was her job to correct it, whether or not she pointed it out to him. yes the Mages would most likely be killed if they went to the empire but Fox knew that wasn't it. Any hint of of insurrection or rebellion would be investigated and subsequently atomized. it was the way of the darkness, destroy hope and all else fails. well that was the theory. it was Iggys job to prove that hope doesnt die and that light (or fire) over comes the darkness.

"leave it to me. one jutsu Shiki Coming up." she made her way to the edge of the town and began the preparations for such a barrier. She had to be careful though, so instead of one she would make two walls. she would intertwine them but it would take twice as long. hopefully she had enough time. as she began to circle the city she had to think of the rule of the barrier. at anytime she would be able to change them but since the rules were absolute she had to be very careful. she would jut have to consult with Iggy before she erected the barrier. if push came to shove she could just use the Total lock out rule. no one gets in, no one gets out. but that was a last resort at this point because she didnt want to trap the townsfolk
