Ira was going to say something but heard her phone go off. she checked it and sighed. she watched the message. when it was over she put her phone down. "well thats just lovely. the brotherhood. looks like they are going be black mailing the big wigs into rethinking. i guess he just bought us sometime. but eventually the government will drop the "we dont negotiate with terrorist line" i'd bet money on that"

"David has a point jean, they fear us already. and even if we saved the world ten times over they would still fear us. if all mutants were heroes they would fear we were above the law and by existing we threaten the stability of authority. were we all villians we would automatically terrorists. it doesnt matter to them that our conception birth and upbringing is the same. its that we can do what they cannot. its that they are different and we are strong. our existence threatens the stability of the USA. but we have to prove to them we don't. When Ira got out of the shower and Got dressed she went to Jeans room. they still needed to have a meeting but there were other things going on as well. Ira still had another class to teach later. the good thing about being an Assistant staff was that she wasnt teaching all the time. normally the institute operated in a way that the first hour or so of classes were physical. then education, lunch, more education but elective stuff, and physical ed before the day ended. a constant stable schedule is what the kids needed and they did their best to provide it for them.

After almost a half hour of intense combat the simulation stopped on its own. It was a timed Sim and it presented her with a score… 48…out of 100. She couldn’t help but laugh as she tried to catch her breath. She was sore all over and needed a shower but at the very least, she had her answer

Geo looked at the war horse he was given to ride with little to no amusement. it was a strong and mighty beast but he hated using it as a beast of burden. the dark horse was saddled up and stocked with food and gear for his journey. stuff like rope, a sleeping mat, a couple tools and apples. everyone watched him with a mix of Awe and concern as he mounted the stead. He didnt wait for the woman who was to be his partner, he left. however he was going at a pace that made it easy for her to catch up. he just wanted to get out of the city. he reached into the bag and took out an apple and took a bite

Ira dashed right but a robot cut her off. Hitting her into a table. It leveled its gun at her but she used her telekinesis to snap its arm so it fired into the floor. Again she tried to run, making it out the window this time only to find that all around her looked like the end of the world. Fire, gun fire, screams of agony and fear all around her. but she had to concentrate since she was getting shot at. The robot was coming for her…until Cable blew its head off and tossed her another clip “that’s the last freebee you get from me soldier.”
As she reloaded an idea came to mind. One that she didn’t have long to think about further because they were bing shot at again. this was hard for her. it was liking she had to re wire all her experiences. She was always a stealthy time, a ninja…not a soldier..but it was looking like she would have to learn to be both for the sake of halting the MRA.

Ira didnt hear David since she wasnt actually listening for him. by the time David got to Jean Ira was already locked in the Danger room

“Run program: Operation Great Divide. " She verbally entered the command
“passcode required:” The robotic computer voice reasponed
“The war is not coming, it is here. It was always here”
“passcode accepted. Running program”

The room whirled and buzzed into action as the lights shut off. In an instant She was thrown into a world destroyed by war. It was all hardlight holograms but it was realistic. Suddenly an image of the man known as Cable appeared before her. “Listen up soldier, if you can survive this than you might stand a chance in the real war. The choice is yours to make. Who you fight for. what you fight for. It doesn’t matter if your ready. We have already begun” with that he tossed a futuristic rifle at her and ducked. She followed suit as the wall was blown to pieces. She looked over her cover and started shooting at anything that was shooting back. Her aim wasn’t all that great but everything she knew didn’t matter right now. She was a ninja at heart. Which meant she wasn’t meant to be on the battlefield like this… but that’s why she ran the program. She ran out of ammo very quickly and didn’t have another clip to reload with.
