Hey Cynder, is there going to be a bad organisation like team Flare or Team Rocket? I hope so, because fighting them is always fun :)
I see a risk already in your timeskip. You say that 9th graders aren't allowed to leave campus at all during midweek if they sleep at school. Can't you make it so that 9th graders can leave school like after their classes?
Sam watched the battles, than heard what the girl said. "You are probably right. Some people here are impatient, and that is reflected on their pokemon." He saw the weird actions from the other Riolu, wich he almost mistook for his own, and the Skarmory, but remained cool. He than saw how the mega evolved Absol lost from the Electric trainer. "This proofs that good evolutions aren't everything." He said. He looked at the shore, and saw they would arive any moment now. "We are almost there. I can't whait to see what your strategy is." _And what you're going to do when you see mine..._ He thought soon after he said that.
I think the RP is getting a bit slow. Are we all whaiting for others to respond or what?
Hopefully you get better soon, buddy! Now, I checked the posts for you, and I belief every 8th grader which we know of that are still in the RP has posted at least once now since the lessons started. Hopefully that helps you a bit :)
Darn, I can't figure out what to RP. Sam has no lessons right now, he isn't allowed to leave the area and if I need to describe how he's gaming... Any ideas Tek?
Sam chuckled when the girl talked about his Riolu like it was nothing. "You are probably right, but I bet you can't beat me in a double battle," he said confidently. He was kinda famous for his double battles. He never lost one till now, and his fighting style surprised people when not prepared. He now looked at the deck again. It looked like a new battle was about to start. They were talking about mega stones. _Mega stones... I really want one myself._ he started to think. _Riolu would probably like it when he evolves, so does Metang._ Sam reminded himself to talk to the guy when he had the chance.

Done, just edited a few lines and it should be okay now.
Sam saw how the Swablu trainer admitted defeat. _Too bad it ended so quickly, I would've liked to see some more. Almost wants me to fight myself._ He thought. He then saw one of the girls' Lucario patting his Riolu on the head. Riolu seemed to like it, and stretched out his tiny arms like it wanted a hug. "Looks like your Lucario fell for my Riolu's cuteness. He's not that old, so I understand." Sam said to the Lucario's owner, then whaited for the girl to reply. Then he looked up at the girl's Lucario. "That's a fine Lucario you've got there." He said. He loved Steel types since he was a child, and even though most people didn't know, Lucario was one as well. That's why he wanted to evolve his Riolu. But he knew it would take time and patience, so he never told Riolu that. After all, it was Riolu's life, not his.

I listened to what the person had to say. _Someone who doesn't want to talk much... I like it._ I thought. "Sam is the name. Stay away from my laptop and I think we can get along just fine." I said to him. I walked past him and sat on the chair again. I aplied the password and my laptop started to update several games and aplications at once. I turned around to Flippy and said: "By the way, I claimed this side of the bedroom already, if you don't mind."
