You are giving him your undivided attention all through the lessons. Fortunately, you have had a lot of practice in this, as being a priestess at first was much like a long, drawn out lecture followed by a series of unrelated trials. You had managed to turn a switch on in your brain to keep your focus then, so this is nothing now.

The bow on the otherhand...its just not working. You try to hide your shame and disappointment in yourself with composure and perseverance, but you are quickly becoming upset. This has never happened to you before; your efforts have always balanced out with your progress. Not to say you are perfect, but if a trail was leaving you winded and sore, at least you could be proud of the result. You aren't sure how to respond to it naturally, and if not for him being here, you might have thrown a first class tantrum.
You are very grateful for the lessons as you will need them. You hope he can be patient with your novice ways and will try your best not to cross him. After all, he isn't a pious member of a society with a reputation to uphold. Everything he does is out of the kindness of his heart and is taking time out of his day.

That being said, you don't hesitate to accept his offer and force yourself through grogginess and soreness, overriding it with excitement. "Where do we start?"
So sorry about the long pause! I have my computer in shop on technical problems and I'm just now getting to a computer that I can reply on. I hope you will be patient with my replies. *bows*
You awake from the dream when a beam of sunlight shines through the window and casts itself directly on your face. For a second, you are confused as to what is going on and where you are, but the pieces start fitting together. Now you truly realize how lucky you must be to make it this far. Someone with your "skills" and "knowledge" would have died in the situation with the bear, even with Tom as help. They may have not even encountered Tom on their journey; it was just the right time on just the right day that you found him.
You never considered yourself a lucky person; good things and "blessings" only happened after you have worked very hard for them. You find it ironic that your first lucky encounter was after you was condemned. Was it a sign? Or was it just coincidence?
You tell him your plans before you leave and sincerely hope he will be okay as you go. Moving as fast as you can to race against time, you keep your knife out on you in case things gets hectic.
So great, that you have to remind yourself that regulation is a part of temperance, and at a time like this, you have to get used to eating just enough to survive. Seeing how Tom would require a lot more food than yourself, you left the majority of it to him. "We are just still targets right now, huh?"
Harper looked through a dark hole revealed by the fleeing cofagrigus. "I guess he would be further down..." Harper looked over to his flygon who shrugged. Sighing, Harper through out a pokeball with a typhlosion in it. The typhlosion immediately snuggled against its trainer before curling up defensively and looking nervously around its environment. Parkour, the scrafty, snickered and pat the typhlosion on his head, making him relax. "Shine, do you think you can be a torch for us through this place?" The typhlosion looked unsure, but he shook his head and walked into the darkness.
You feel a rush of emotions run over you, but you remind yourself to stay calm. Scrambling through your bag frantically and ready to fall over, you look for the emergency kit that came with the travel supplies. You struggle to put together a plan with your growing nerves as you see more blood and loose more balance, but start to get coordinated. There is a sticky aloe salve that is supposed to slow the draining of blood and help the wound scar faster, but you can tell when messily applying it to Tom that is painful to use.
You use a lot of gauge and medical tape and splints for a broken arm, probably more than you need to, patching up Tom to get over the guilt of ever doubting him.
Now, looking at your own leg pathetically, you don't know if you have the strength to put the salve on it. You generally try to avoid painful situations, and you are so shaken up that the pain might make you fall unconscious. You hesitantly dab some on the deeper of the rakes through your flesh to test the waters.
You want to laugh at Tom's patheticness, but there are more serious things at hand right now. Like the angry bear in front of you. Its already aggressive and trying to attack you, there is no hope of scaring it away. You don't believe you can outrun it, but if you look for higher ground and swipe at it with your pathetic knife, you might put up a fight that the bear is not willing to deal with. Then again, if it weren't specifically looking for a fight with you, it would have went after Tom, who was an easy target right now. You just hope Tom is running to a safe place to shoot his arrows from.
All while you was thinking this, you kept as strong as a glare on the bear you could with your blade drawn. As a child, they teach you how to handle bear attacks on travel, as they are as common as being robbed during a trip. Its a bear's instincts to intimidate before attacking an opponent it thinks will put up a fight. As long as you don't show a hint of intimidation, it should keep bluffing. All the while your feet are shuffling over to a nearby large rock...
Harper ducked around its movements before sending out a scrafty. "Munch on these guys away, Parkour!" Parkour's grin was wide and he happily complied. Doing so wrapped him in gauge, but he didn't seem to mind at all. His crunch was powerful enough to take them down in one or two hits, but if not for Sebek plowing through them to get to his trainer's side, it would be overwhelming.
