"I honestly don't know," Ayaka whispered back. "But maybe traditional as I didn't think there was a such thing as magic until now." She decided to pay attention to Lady Violetta now since she made it a point that she wishes for them to pay attention when a teacher is speaking. She figured she'll ask Jak what he planned to focus in after this little 'class'.

"Huh? One of my parents might have been to a magic school? But then why didn't they mention it at all?" Ayaka didn't really expect that kind of answer to her question seeing as how she didn't think magic existed until this happened. While Shermie and Life started talking to the newcomer who was clearly nervous, Ayaka decided upon opening the boxes in front of her. While in the process of doing this, she saw someone go in a row behind them and put his head on the desk.

She turned around and asked, "Hey are you ok?" just before Jak came over and introduced himself. "Hi Jak, I'm Ayaka Rain. Nice to meet you."

Aisling I think I might be instersted. Of course, at this point I've no idea what my character will be leading in the futre, though I figure I'll decide that later on down the road.

So they did fall through a picture to attend a different school. But magic? Ayaka didn't even think it existed, but how else did they all literally fall through a picture. She waited until after Lady Violetta answered Life's question before raising her own hand with a question. "um...What about our family and friends at home? Wouldn't they worry? Mine are probably already worried to be honest."

Ayaka put her headband back on, though she wasn't sure how much of the conversation Life was paying attention to. That was mainly because he told her that he doesn't usually make friends. It kind of made her think he wasn't used to conversing with others though she could be wrong. He was obviously paying enough attention to know she mentioned cats, however. "Yeah, cats can be fun to be around or they can be great if you want something quiet too."

Ayaka wasn't sure if he was just shy or not as he kept looking slightly away as he spoke. He did say he doesn't typically make friends though. "Thanks," she said at the compliment about the ears. She took off the headband to show him why it looks like she has cat ears. "They aren't real though. I just grew up around cats. I don't know, I guess I just feel closer to them wearing this?"

Ayaka followed the headmistress with the others. So far it did seem they all fell through a picture just to attend a different school for some odd reason. One of them she noticed sat nearest the door. She half wondered if he just wanted to hurry out of here when this so called orientation was over, or if he just sat in the first place he saw. Thinking about it, wasn't he the one who waved slightly with his hand halfway up.

She didn't think much of it before because she was too busy trying to make sense of what's going on. Ayaka decided to just walk over and sat in the chair next to him. If she was going to be stuck here she thought she might as well start trying to make friends of some of the others here as well. "Hi, you said your name is Life right? Nice to meet you."

And still absolutely nothing was explained. At this point Ayaka was getting slightly annoyed since she was just working on a school project with a friend before seemingly falling through one of the paintings in the museum. Speaking of which, she now wondered if Ami and her parents were worrying about her. The lady did say she plans on explaining everything, but what did she mean during orientation?

With that in mind Ayaka waited a minute to see if anyone else was going to speak. When it seemed no one was she decided she will. "I guess I'll be next. I'm Ayaka Rain. It's nice to meet everyone."
