Rikami immediately jumped on the floor and walked over to Ember.
Ayaka listened to Lady Violetta explain what Independent Study courses there are this semester as well as how they will be taught to them. Of course she asked if anyone was interested in any of them. She rose her hand and said, "I'm interested in all of them if that's ok. Um.. and what if if I'm thinking about taking Draconic courses too? How long do I have to change that?"

Ayaka waited for Mystique to catch up to her before walking in the classroom. She didn't want to just go in the room without her. Seeing that only a couple others were there, Ayaka gathered that they weren't late. She found a seat nearby the other two in the room and sat down, knowing Mystique will likely sit next to her. Rikami sat in her lap looking around at his surroundings. She just held on to his leash in case he got a sudden urge to want to try playing with one of the other animals in the room.

Ayaka was about to walk out the door when she remembered she needed treats for Rikami. She grabbed some treats real quick and walked out carrying him to meet up with Mystique again. "I'm ready too. Hope we aren't late." She hurried to the staircase to go the Lecture Room.

"Yeah she did... wonder what sort of summer classes? And do we ever get to go home at least for a little while?" Ayaka was more of asking herself about going home than anything, but it didn't matter that she said that part out loud. "Well see you in a couple minutes" She went to her room, put the leash on Rikami before picking him up to carry him. The leash was just in case she needed him to walk on his own for some reason.

Ayaka got up. Where Mystique was second guessing taking both courses, she was starting to second guess taking only one. "Will you be ok taking both?" she asked as she walked toward the staircase.

"Yeah, after the village incident, I never want to be late for anything else, though I do hope to see them again." Ayaka said as she quickly ate what she put on her tray. "I gave Rikami a toy so he can be preoccupied. Hopefully, he's still playing with it though... " She waited for Mystique to finish before deciding heading back to her room to get Rikami.

"Yeah, I'm ready to eat." Ayaka said and walked over to the buffet and grabbed a tray. She honestly couldn't wait to get this day started. So far things have been mainly introductory stuff and she was excited to get started here. After putting food on her tray, Ayaka sat down just as Lady Violetta was giving her announcement. She made a note in her head not to lose track of time and be late. That is to say she knew it wasn't like being stuck in the village when it got dark. She just made it a point not to be late to something again.

"Wonder if she'll let us see it? Well see you at breakfast." Ayaka went back into her room so she can get ready for the day. She set Rikami down and put food and water in his bowls. Afterward, she went to the bathroom in order to shower and brush her teeth. When she was ready, Ayaka gave Rikami a toy to play with while she was gone. She didn't really want him at the table with her at breakfast. She waited for Mystique at the breakfast hall.

Thinking about how this school had at least one other headmistress, Ayaka could think of only one person right now that could have a dragon. "Well I'd imagine this school has been around long enough for the headmistress to have a dragon. I could be wrong about that though."

Ayaka had not expected to be woken up to something roaring. It startled both her and Rikami. She walked out of her room with an agitated puppy in her arms and saw that Mystique was out too. "Morning Mystique!" Ayaka walked over to her. "Did you hear something roaring a minute ago?" She wanted to be sure it wasn't just her imagination, but Rikami seemed to have heard it too...
