"How about, every hand is worth one article of clothig, but if you run out of chips, you take off an extra 2 to buy them back?" The idea would add a sense of speed to the game.

Synn was about to interject by saying things such as "no instructions as to how? No safet precautions? What the he** are you getting at? (Thats a pun. Get it?) but, Sin interjected, and instead turned Synn's raised hand into a long yawn. Nobody saw his mouth move though, which may be just slightly unsettling considering how loud the yawn was.

The vast majority of the morning in humting was spent showing all the students howbto set up safe, simple traps, such as fox cages, and bird snares. These almost guaranteed that there would be no casualties the first day. 2 students had gone missing, but jeadmistress issabella took the oportunity to show students how tracking worked. She followed the broken sticks, crumpled leaves, and muddy shoe prints to the stream were the students were caught smootching, and assigned detention for ditching.

Synn was so enthusiastic about not wanting to fight the hound, he half contemplate forcing someone else to do it. "Proffesor G, i feel i may be a bad example of how to fight. You cant see what im doing. Further more, im not the most physically inclined, and i dont think anybody in here wishes to see me without bandages. Perhaps Romeo would be a better pick." Synn prayed romeo would catch the hint and volunteer. Meanwhile, sin was torturing the pour imp that had apeared before synn. Sin was pumping excessive amount of info into the poor things head, long past the "full" marker, and was now toying with the thing by causing it to hallucinate. This became aparent when Synn's imp fell of his desk onto the floor.

"Uhmm. Also, i think my Imp is broken sir."

"Then you fold. Its okay, everybody gets a bad hand. I only had a pair of 3's which is pretty close to nothing." Samuel takes the cards back, shuffles, and redeals. On the field are an A, 10, 7. Of his now 6 chips, Samuel puts his "buy in" then looks at his cards. He smiles feintly and then looks up at you, waiting for you to buy your hand, and play. "If you cant lie, then it might be realy easy to win chips off you in bulk. Haha! You might find yourself naked, or darn nearly in a very short time frame."

Samuel aparently already enjoyed the idea, judging by his huge smile.

"Well, there are strategies. Usually, that means you loose haha!" Samuel laughed a bit. "There are a few phazes before we reveal our cards and determine who will win or loose. The buy in, before you look at your cards you pay one chip to the "Pile". Then there is "the raise" if you are confident in your hands, you can bet mutliple chips. We continue raising our bet until either both of us are satisfied with our hands, or until somebody folds. Basically it means you quit rather than risk loosing more chips. Then after those steps, we compare hands. Winner takes the pile."

Samuel explains looking at a 3, and a 7 in his hand. He only had a 2 pair but you just admited to having nothing so, he placed an extra chip in the pile. "Now i just raised. Either you give up and i win no matter what is in our hands, or you place a chip an we continue. This part is where strategy comes in. Sometimes you can lie, and scare the other person into giving up, even though they had the better hand."
