"Okay." Samuel says as he follows you in the casino. He nearly says something when you monster grip onto his hand, but before he could, you drug him overto a slot machine, and he instead foun himself explaining. "So this machine is simple. You put in a quarter, and pull a lever. Depending on what comes up on thedisplay determines what you win. Different versions of this same machine may show different pictures to represent the same prize." The lecture lasted only a few seconds, and left a aura of mystery about the machine. Samuel placed the quarter in for you, and pulled the lever for the first time.

He had won a "FreeSpin" as the machine read. When he did lights about the machine flashed and fancy music played for a few moments. The feeling was quite exhillerating, and left on eager to play more or to see what the free spin would come up with next. Samuel pulle the long chrome lever a second time and got a "Seashell, Mermaid, Sailboat" pattern, meaning he had won nothing.

Liz watched his actions carefully. It seemed simple enough. She searched her pockets until she found a quarter. She put it into the slot like she had seen him do. Then reached for the lever. She pulled the lever and watched the symbols flash before her eyes. She didnt know what symbols she needed to win. She didnt really care about winning it was the experince that mattered. The symbols settled into three different pictures(I have no idea what they could be). When nothing happened she turned her attention to her kidnapper. "What else is there?"

"Well, there are several card games, dice games... You name it! Not to mention the tower with a never ending carnival on top. Basically, if adults can do it for fun, its in vegas." The answer was straight forward and obvious. Whilst Samuel explained, he placed a quarter in the machine, an pulle the lever. 3 eye patches cane up on the screen, and 5 dollars worth of coins were spat out from the chrome tray beneath the screen. Again, the lights flashed and a commotion of noise exploded fro the machine. Samuel saw the winner sign, an took a shot off a tray from a nearby host/hostess.

"Interesting thig.." He says as he prepares to take the shot, not truly knowing what it is. "When you go o the casino, you get free drinks, so long as your gambeling." And with that, he downs his shot, and looks to you. "So what did you have in mind? You dont like slots?"

Liz shrugged. "There kind of boring. I want to try as many things as I can. What about that game where they spin the wheel?" Liz knew very little about Vegas. But she had seen that game in movies. She had never played these kind of games so he was going to have to explain everything to her. She took his hand once again and started searching for the game she wanted.

Eventually, you passed a green velvet table, with a large fancy checkered wheel, next to a checkered chart. "This game?" Samuel says as you pass it. "I think its some kind of roullette table, but i forget sometimes. This one is especially fun, and very nervewracking. Haha! The rules are simple. You place a bet on where you think the ball will land. The wheel has black or red pockets numbered 1-50. You can call evens, odds, reds, blacks, or a specific number. The wider the spectrum you call, the less money you win if your right. The more specific you are, the more money you win. So if i call 50, the odds are 50 to one that it will be anything else. If im right i get 50x my money. If im wrong i loose the money. If i call red, there is a 2-1 chance. So ill double my money if im right. "

Samuel explained the rules, and the man behind the table saw your interest. "Free first bet" he announces directly at you. "Your first bet, we will ad 5 dollars to your base value. If you bet nothing, it will be like you placed 5 dollars. 5 dollars happens to be our minimum buy in here at this table."

Liz listened carefully to his explanation. She wasn't sure that she understood exactly what he meant but she thought she had the general idea. She could bet on number, a color, or type of number. She studied the numbers and the wheel. She took the five dollar betting chip and bite her lip. What did she want to bet on? She had heard lot of ways that people choose numbers. She placed her chip on the number 17. When the dealer spun the wheel she watched it go round and round until it started to slow down. She held her breath as she watched the wheel stop on 17. She jumped up and down excitedly. She wrapped her arms around him and kissed his cheek. "I DID IT!"

The dealer behind the table smiles and hands you a smal plastic basket with 50 5 dollar chips. The total value is 250 dollars! "We have a winner!" The man announces. Samuel cheers with you, and grabbs a shot of tequila from one of the passing hostesses. He hands you the shot an says "Winner winner but ivw already payed for dinner. Oh well, time for rule number 2. When you win, you take a shot. And since you got a jackpot prize..." He hands you two shots. "Well, its rule number 2."

Then, he places 3 100 dollar bills on the same number. "Can i ask that you spin the wheel counterclockwise sir?" Samuel ask casually. The man knods and spins. Samuel turns his head away and says to you. "I cant look im wretched at this game. You tell me how it goes."

Liz smiled as he handed her a shot. She had never had alcohol before but she had seen shots down. She threw back the shot. She chocked on it but managed to keep it down. She repeat the action with the second shot. She felt buzzed already. The world started to blur around the edges. She liked the effect it made everything feel like a dream. She watched as her kidnapper placed a bet. She giggled when he turned his head way from the table. She watched the wheel spin. "Round and round it goes." She sang as it spun around. The wheel slowed and stopped. "You did it! You won!" She shouted.

"What?!?!" Samuel proclaimed. He couldnt believe it, but when he turned his head, he definately saw the little chrome ball in the box labelled 17. "OH MY GOD YES! HOW DID THAT JUST HAPPEN!" He shouts before grabbing 2 more shots for himself. The man handed him a green plastic basket with 15000 dollars of chips in it. Samuel dumps the basket into your own, bringing you to 15250 dollars in chips. Afterwards, he pounds his shot, grabs your face, and kisses you. It wasnt anywhere near the one on the train, but he seemed pretty happy none the less.

"WOOH!" Samuel shots tossing his hands up afterwards. By now he was up to 5 servings o alcohol and was starting to get on the side of wholly crap! "I need to gamble with you more often! Haha!" Of coarse, strip poker came to mind, but he dared not mention it... Oh wait.. He did anyways. "Haha we should play strip poker! Everybody wins at that!"

She touched her lips after she kissed him. She didn't know what to do. He was the only person to kiss her. This kiss wasn't as nice as the ones he had given her earlier. "I don't think I am familiar with that game." Liz told him "But it sounds interesting." She picked up one of the tokens. She couldn't tell which one it was. She set the one 100 chip on the number 80. The deal spun again. This time when the wheel stopped it landed on even. "Oh well. Let's try something else. Maybe that pocker you talked about."

"Haha alright." Samuel takes your hand and guides you out of the casino back to the elevator. He clicks the button for the door to close and the body guard gets locked out at the last moment. Samuel lets loose a short fit of laughter afterwards. When the doors open, on the 10th floor (last floor before roof) there is a long hallway with marble floors, chandelliers, and only one door. Samuel punches a code in on it, oppening up to his suite that he always has ready, just for him. He did own the building after all. He takes you to a table, and pulls out a chair for you. "Go ahead, ill be right back."

Then, Samuel walks across the suite past the open balcony, the rather large looking bed and over to the nightsand. He opens it up and pulls out cards, then he goes into the kitchen, and grabs 2 glasses plus a bottle of vodka from the fridge. "Okay so poker is kinda complex okay. So bear with me." He places the vodka and cards on the table. A shot glass is placed before each of you.

"So its a game of card values. You want to pair up certain kinds of cards for the highest value possible. 2 pairs are worth less than 3 pairs. If you have one of each type of pair its a full house which is worth more than any pair. Next up is a straight, like if you hade ace, 2 , 3, 4. A large straight is the even better but requires one more card. A royal flush is the best hand consisting of an ace, a queen, a 10, and a king, and a jack. When 2 people have the same hand value, the winner is decided by the highest card. So if we each had a 2 pair, whoever has the greater pair wins. If i had 2 5's an you had 2 6's you would win. However if i had 3 of any card, it beats your 2 pair no matter what it is."

He looks to you to read your facial expressions an see if you are understanding before he continues. "So i deal us each 2 cards face down." He deals the 2 cards each. "Then i place 3 cards face up in the center. We can both use them. So lets say ihad 2 of a kind in my hand, an that same number was on the field. Ive now got a 3 pair." He lays out the field cards. Then from under the table he pulls chips. He gives you 5 and keeps 5 for himself. "Here is the catch for strip poker. Instead of gambling money, you gamble clothes. Every time you run out of chips, you take off clothes to buy them back!"

Samuel seemed quite content with how he explained the rules, none the less he looks t you and ask "so, any questions?"

Liz shook her head. She wasn't sure she could remember everything he had said but she was willing to try. She picked up her cards and bite her lip. She had a K, J, and there was 5, 6, and a 3. She was pretty sure that didn't make anything. "What if I don't have anything?" She asked looking at the cards. Nope still nothing .

"Well, there are strategies. Usually, that means you loose haha!" Samuel laughed a bit. "There are a few phazes before we reveal our cards and determine who will win or loose. The buy in, before you look at your cards you pay one chip to the "Pile". Then there is "the raise" if you are confident in your hands, you can bet mutliple chips. We continue raising our bet until either both of us are satisfied with our hands, or until somebody folds. Basically it means you quit rather than risk loosing more chips. Then after those steps, we compare hands. Winner takes the pile."

Samuel explains looking at a 3, and a 7 in his hand. He only had a 2 pair but you just admited to having nothing so, he placed an extra chip in the pile. "Now i just raised. Either you give up and i win no matter what is in our hands, or you place a chip an we continue. This part is where strategy comes in. Sometimes you can lie, and scare the other person into giving up, even though they had the better hand."

Liz shook her head. "I don't lie." she scolded him. Her father wouldn't tolerate even the smallest lie. She had learned to tell the complete truth. She bite her lip. It was tempting though. Her cards sucked. She looked at him wondering what cards he had. "My cards are bad." She laid the two in her hand down.

"Then you fold. Its okay, everybody gets a bad hand. I only had a pair of 3's which is pretty close to nothing." Samuel takes the cards back, shuffles, and redeals. On the field are an A, 10, 7. Of his now 6 chips, Samuel puts his "buy in" then looks at his cards. He smiles feintly and then looks up at you, waiting for you to buy your hand, and play. "If you cant lie, then it might be realy easy to win chips off you in bulk. Haha! You might find yourself naked, or darn nearly in a very short time frame."

Samuel aparently already enjoyed the idea, judging by his huge smile.

Liz shrugged. "Father hates lying so I don't really know hoe to do it." She didn't seem to mind the idea of being naked. She was drunk enough to not worry about the consequences. "So I lost this hand right? That means I lose a piece of clothing? Want a shoe?" She giggled as she put her foot on the table.

"Well i guess we can play like that haha! But normally you loose sveral pieces when you run out of chips. And normally, you loose both shoes at once."

"Two shoes. Got it." Liz kicked her shoes off. "Now what?" She asked him as she looked at the cards. "New hand?"

"Yes. Now we repeat. Deal, gamble, cash in, repeat." Samuel had already dealt the 2nd hand and looks at his rather promising cards. So then, he places 2 more chips in. "So i got an idea." He states. "How about, every hand is worth one article of clothig, but if you run out of chips, you take off an extra 2 to buy them back?" The idea would add a sense of speed to the game.

Liz looked at her card. "So I bet my 5 chips and loose I lose 2 things?" She wanted to make sure she understood the new rules. She took a drink of the vodka he had given her. She blinked and glared at the cards. She had a 4 and 6.
