I’ve worked min wage jobs and I’ve done the bare minimum and have still gotten the measly ten cent raises yearly and good references from them. There really is no point, bare minimum gets you by.

Konrad entered the holding area flanked by two armed guards. Despite the collars, they still insisted to have guards sent in with conventional rifles. "Just to be safe" they said. Bah, the presence of armed guards merely hindered his work. He swore up and down that if one more subject was gunned down for "reaching for something they couldn't see" Konrad would raise hell. But here came the highlight of everyday, the experimentation and questioning. He might as well start with the new arrivals... "Alright, who the hell is.. Id...Idee.... Fuck it. Would the bloody... fairy or some shit you claim yourself to be come up with your sister? And don't try anything funny. I don't want a repeat of last week... the blood stains still won't come out of the floor..."

Did anyone else find this highly ironic/hypocritical as technically by trying to stop the argument and by asking dark matter to stop being self righteous,

Normally Konrad didn’t like putting on his Hazmat suit- It was too bulky and hindered his movements somewhat, he wasn’t as mobile as he was outside of it. But of course, it gave at least some protection…. The patient’s files soon followed on his helmet’s HUD. Konrad sighed as he passed through several high security doors to the surveillance room. They would obviously tell him there would need to be precautions that needed to be put into place before today’s experiments would proceed. It was a waste of time really, the supernaturals were all collared anyway. There wasn’t much they could do to harm him.
A guard came by and told him that not all of the subjects had been gathered yet. Again, another inefficiency that he had to deal with on a daily basis. Konrad sighed and simply waited for all the supernaturals to be rounded up.
