Ditto on the collab thing, I vouched for autonomy. Sluggishly moving along on my own post, to be honest it isn't all that long but the fact that it exists is enough to make me happy.

Also, I feel I should apologise if any of my ideas expressed about this riot biz have made things seem complicated when the situation really isn't. Hardcore match ECW-style with some of the plotting from mid-90's WWF and a touch of WCW mayhem.

And Welcome the ES:VoD Shon! That's one more for the fanfic', yay!
Welcome to the funhouse, Marwolaeth! Ooh a Dutchie! I have a good Nederlander pal who also loves to roleplay but is stuck with us English-speaking folk for the same reasons you are, lol. If it is adventure and fellowship you seek, you could not have found a more perfect place to get your feet wet, or dive into head-first if you are so inclined... *looks at avatar*... which I think you are, lol. Enjoyyy! *makes a toast* :D

Hmmm, I dunno if this genre is necessarily underrated, but a lot of people I know did not know about Dynasty warriors/Samurai Warriors.
I worship the DW series! You and ishtar are a common yet well-hidden species. The fanfare is just as exuberant as any other, just not as publicly widespread. The general titles had all of Gan Ning's bells and Zhen Ji's whistles regarding gameplay features, and for that reason I favoured those more than the Empire and Xtreme Legends editions - the sixth being an exception, I think the developers were still celebrating five's success with crack. What I can do without is the weapons interchange feature (I value character integrity), multi-faceted musou system and Lu Bu's moulin rouge eye shadow. Orochi Warriors introduced me to the Samurai series; a range I am yet to explore. It is considerably less popular than DW.

The single drop of childhood I've carried over, that I have no one to talk to about, is Perfect Dark on N64. I am aware that if you can't appreciate the 'OOC' type free roam at the menu screen, and awesome (for its time) storyline, it's mostly a carbon copy of 007 Goldeneye. Such is the logic of youth.
^Lmaooo and praise Sanguine he shall.

@Cairo - Yeah it bothered me, too, knowing how adverse the fallout will be. Godzilla mode will incur great amounts of collateral damage and short-term suffering, but it will (theoretically) ensure a long term gain. What's Sion up to, currently? Is he in a position to view the bandits Rtron has set up?
Apologies all, went and stayed black for longer than what was anticipated. I feel partly responsible for what you're feeling, Dervs. Sincerely and super sorry this has worn you down. Holding tight to a hobby until you've squeezed all joy from it does not bode well for the soul. I'm sad to see you take leave, but I'm gladdened by your continued guidance and your choice to take time for yourself to reset and repair.

Welcome back, Sunny D! We've all been guilty of the same at one point or another, and some more than others (*ashamedly shrinks into private corner of purgatory*). Happy you're back in action.

Wow, we have a new guy! Greetings to you, Shonny-boy. Can't remember the last time we took on a new player so that makes you kind of a rarity, and therefore this review process is kind of a big deal. Dervs is on point with his critique. Those who were new to this chapter had to explain how our folks handled the Auroras, and given the timing of your entrance, you'd need not only that but a recount between then and now to properly sync up our timelines. Your C.S has made a mighty fine impression, regardless. Can't wait 'til you're finally one of us so we can officially welcome you with open arms and ritualistic pluming.

No i haven't heard from her since well, the last time she posted. She actually hasn't been on psn for almost a month now, so I haven't been able to contact her.So long as someone can do the organize riot/initiate riot post, i could jump in at any time.

Holy sheet, a whole month?! Doing lots of Let's Play with Catchup.

Coordination needs to spread between the group so we don't run the risk of getting singled out. I can it being spearheaded by one person - NPC or PC (dibs on not being that PC) - so long as we all do our part to feed into the confusion. But what I propose is that we each come up with a distraction, work out ways to orchestrate them at the same time or in sequence, and form a taskforce for each to power it through. The result of combining various tasks would be the chaos needed to attract a large response force. For example, I'm about to introduce a group of locals whose 'talents' will come in handy. Talk to the locals, learn about their way of life and how the Occupation has made an impact on it. Find out why they're comfortable with the Occupation and this new peace, or why they hate the usurpers and crave freedom. Like if Blade befriends some brutes from an underground fighting ring, then either spurs on their collective bad tempers or calls on their muscle during the riot, or Sion (FTR I pronounce it as "Kah-rah-sai-on") and Friends get mixed up with a secretive group of mages and fling bolts from the rooftops (GOTTAH RUN FAST). Not saying you guys should go do that, we can definitely partner up on the same task or figure something else out. We can also pick apart the situation in lead up to the riot, highlight the political and social problems. Fan the embers, in other words. Examples of this can be good ol' gossip and rumour, an increase in crime rates (fun) to draw attention to the City Guard's bias and/or pisspoor response times, propaganda (news articles exposing corrupt guardsmen, posters promoting a "Free Hammerfell"), etc. Gives us a bit of autonomy from a RPing viewpoint while retaining the ideals of teamwork.

Why the autonomy? Because people like me like to go invisible woman sometimes. Unless you're a man... Invisible man... shutting up.
Also a question for our Grand Poobahs: are your plans time-sensitive? Something caught my interest and I am curious as to how it will come into play here, if at all.

I thought Nyxie Styx would like this...

4chan has robbed me of the great fortune to see whatever this was *sadkeanu*

Spoke with Dervs a long while back about distraction methods and I can see that this topic has popped up in the OOC. Sehr gut! Have we decided on how to burn down that wooden effigy or is Nicholas Cage still awaiting his bee facial? Besides my own character, we have Qara'Sion and Blade on board for #TeamRiot, and since they can only hope to be Chaotic Good, I presume public safety won't sit too high on the agenda. I am not saying we are going to go full Demacia and act like fucking beyblades, but if we're to exact an appropriate level of confusion with as little a task force as we have, there will be some collateral damage. I plan to make use of local freelancers such as thieves and the like. We could find some support from the general public, too. There's the split between a want for freedom and a preference for the order the Dwemer occupation provides. If we play with that, plant seeds of discontent within taverns, the marketplace, blacksmiths (without a doubt, where most, if not all, local warriors pass through) and other public establishments, whatever our plan entails, it will set off that underlying tension. Housewives tossing their pisspots onto the pursuing guards below, a Herder 'mistakenly' letting his drove of cattle wander into their path... I'm probably getting ahead of myself, but those are a few ideas swimming 'round in the ol' rum bucket.
The days usually have a violent allergic reaction to my attempts at doing whatever the hell I want. Sorry about long stretch of nothing, Soul, I'm still in this.
