"Well..." Marcus said, "I'm not that sure. I don't really like any one topic really... But mostly I guess you could say I'm really into reading. It's probably my favorite pastime." Holding up his satchel, which opened up to reveal 3 novels.

"What about you?" He asked her, "What do you like to learn about?"

"Oh, alright," He said with a smile, "I don't mind, you can take your time. Just a little curious was all."

He didn't want to push his friend, as he could tell she was a little troubled about her response.

"Hey," he said, putting a hand on her shoulder, "So far, I want to thank you for being my friend. You have become my first friend in this realm and I really appreciate it." He gave her a kind smile, in an attempt to cheer her up.

He smiled back at her, "Hah, thank you Kotani," He said, "I appreciate it. I will get my revenge on those demons... One day. They are wretched beings. But I digress, no need to ponder on it. So then what kind of being are you? If you don't mind my asking."

"Alright sounds good to me!" He replied.

"And well," He said with a small smile, "I used to be an angel. A guardian of the mortal realm. The reason I'm here is because I was cursed by a powerful demon who had snuck into our realm. I was fused with darkness and became a fallen angel. And now here I stay. Banished from my world." His smile shifted to a frown.

"I mean, we probably want to see where it is we'll be learning in." He told her, "Get an idea of where we'll need to go. We have the whole year to explore the city on our free time."

His ulterior motive was hoping that he would find Rorschach once again to potentially challenge him. However at the same time maybe he could learn more about Kotani while he is with her. Not because he's suspicious... But just out of curiosity. He also wished to find his dorm since he spent his first night in the middle of the forest meditating.

"Maybe we should observe the main building," He suggested, "It would be a good opportunity."

Marcus had noticed his friend getting rather troubled, "Alright alright," He said with a smile, "I'll challenge him the next chance I get how does that sound?" Hoping to calm Kotani down a little on that subject.

"Anyways, sure!" He said, "I wouldn't mind a little more exploration from yesterday." He gave her a reassuring smile. "We should check out the school! We'll see you later Jayce!"

Marcus looked over at Kotani, "It's quite alright," He told her, "I was just thinking of sparring with him. We don't need to destroy him!" He let out a bit of a relaxed laugh, he didn't think Kotani could actually be serious about what she said. She seemed too innocent for that kind of thing.

Then again, another thought arose from Marcus... 'Then what is Kotani doing here...?' He thought, 'Come to think of it, what's so different about Kotani...? She seems like a normal teenage girl... Or maybe there's more.'

Thinking a moment, he decided, 'Better not try to investigate her, we've become friends already so if she wants me to know why she's really here she'll tell me.'

"I should ask him about it." Marcus said, "I would actually like to see what he's capable of." He grinned at the thought of a spar. He hadn't sparred in a long time.

((So sorry for leaving!! I had to go for a couple hours. I should have said something before I left...))

"Hm..." Marcus said thinking about his reply as he walked away, not listening to Kotani and Jayce introduce themselves to one another, "Then what would a mortal like him be doing at a school like this...? I thought this place was only for extraordinary creatures... Not humans... What is so special about him you have to wonder. Huh Jayce? Kotani?" He asked them. He really had no idea what made Rorschach stand out, besides that morph able mask. "Perhaps a fight would be just what I need to see what he's capable of. Huh?" A sudden surge of curiosity pounded throughout Marcus.
