Rain looked at the strange slime carefully, her tongue flicking out as she tested the scent. It seemed.... Different. Not like anything else she'd seen so far.

"You got stronger." It was a statement, a fact, as she circled around him. "We have better odds now."

She glanced at the retreating light, tense, as she finished her observations.

"We're almost out of time," she called to the group at large. "He will want to attack soon. The big guy needs to fall first."

Rain was growing uneasy. If only she had more time, she could practice some with her venom. Do something big. Something.... Lethal. Maybe she could kind of breath it out, like a mist, and then it could destroy the lungs of that that breathed it. But.... That sounded hard, and she didn't have time.

No one had time.

"I'm going to the edges. So they don't see me. And then I can do what I do best."

While she waited, hidden in shadows, she contemplated how she might be able to blow a mist. Maybe start with a Glob, but try to spray it?

She didn't want to waste much venom, but she would give it a few test fires while she waited.

Rain cocked her head at the egg-shaped formation of the slime. Jason, she think he was called? That was....odd. too odd. She couldn't be bothered to think about it.

No one really seemed to be reacting to her exclamation, besides a.... Goblin?

"You're weird." She blurted out to the little green creature. "I guess we need to figure something out. Rest in cycles, be ready for anything. Crispy was acting odd, I think, and the big guy is a problem. He needs to die. The goblins follow what he says. They're all making weapons and shit."

She looked around.

Why wasn't anyone seeming more concerned with the army coming?

Rain houses in relief and agitation as the goblins turned their backs at the perfect time for her movement. How would she know if her camo worked if they weren't even going to pay attention?

This was...a mess. The big guy was there, she could see them doing their thing. She could.... She should....

Fuck.

This wasn't an easy choice. Continue thinning the odds and taking risks or go back to the group to warn them? There was more goblins than their group, unless their group had grew more...

But the goblins were dumb, minutes Crispy and the hairy one. Plus that human birth one....

Looking though.... Rain knew they needed to kill the big guy. They could work with the Goblins if he was dead, she was sure of it. A joint operation?

Fuck.

Rain turned and ran. She needed to give the others warning. She couldn't just be selfish and keep whittling down the numbers.

When she got back she'd announce herself for their benefit.

"Guys.... I killed two of them but.... There's still at least 16. And they're arming for war."

Caesar shook his head at the game. Challenge. Whatever it was. It was almost as ridiculous as that dodgeball thing from Launcher. He felt bad that he wasn't able to participate any, these physical things were really up towards himself and Feya.

Their victories were costly, for both sides. So far Slick was the only one who had been a winner and came out from it fairly unhurt. But now this guy....

Caesar watched Kite be taken to Feya with a frown. Whoever was going to go next was going to need to be careful.

"Don't underestimate him," he said to the two pirate crews. "He's dangerous. That temper, though..." He trailed off, thinking to himself.

This man was strong and fast, and intelligent too. You couldn't just beat him by playing by his rules and games. That was where Kite had messed up. No... You needed something more to take care of this guy.

Rain's recently upgraded Stun Fang seemed to be doing the job much more efficiently--the second goblin went down much the same way as the first. But now more green heads began to poke through the entrance of the cave, and there was much chattering among them.

"What da heck happenin' over dere?!"

"Dey both just fell over!"

"Somethin' must be over there! Boss! Hey Boss! Come see this!"

Two of them kept watch while the third ran off, most likely to get Rattleskull. One of the two lookouts picked up a hefty rock and got ready to throw it at the first thing that moved. For now Rain was hidden behind the bodies, but how would she get away...?

Rain was breathing heavily under the cover of the bodies. She was positively drenched in blood now, and she's chewed absent mindedly on the meat of the second goblin to die to her. Ripped out throats were so quick to kill, after all.

But she was in a jam now. That big guy was coming, the hairy one. She was sure of it. There'd been a lot of Goblins, too, over a dozen. She'd counted something like 18 originally before the first bastard spotted her.

Oh, this was bad. Very bad.

Even coated in blood she was visible. But.. Wait. Her idea! She needed to be quick, she didn't have much time before they started investigating.

Using her claws she scratched up loose dirt and began rolling in it, looking to coat her entire body in a layer of dirt mixed into the stickiness of the blood on her.

Theoretically she'd be a very dark brown if the work. At this distance, as little as it was, she should be able to evade and get stealthed and back to the group. Right?

Oh, this shit better work.

Firmly coated, hopefully, Rain tested the waters by darting towards a nearby large rock that was still roughly the same distance from the goblins. She needed to see their reactions. If they noticed her and started moving for her, she'd likely need to run back to the bonfire group.

It's been 2 weeks with no response. I try to be lenient, but I'm giving you 3 days to respond or be dropped.

@Shizuochan
3 days have past. If i don't hear anything within approximately 7 hours, I'll be delegating your character into NPC territory.
Jason

Jason had settled in to wait, this.... Bargaining taking over the meeting when the lights started flickering. Given the calm weather, it really only left one explanation.

A Cape. And the best option was -

Yeah, go figure.

Jason rose to his feet, already heading towards the Community villain before he fell and Headhunter swooped in. Jason still closed the distance cautiously, ready to provide backup if necessary.

"Just another example of why that bastard needs taken down." His words were clear through the room, a firm reminder of what was really important here.

Things were going swimmingly. Their little maneuver didn't even need to be completed thanks to Hermes' quick thinking. She smiled at the hero as she skidded to a stop not horribly far from where she'd started.

And that's when the other shoe dropped.

Ceramix absolutely freaked, taking three of his own men hostage and demanding that Shatterpoint be released within five seconds or he'd paste these guys. They might be criminals, but they didn't deserve that!

Lillian glanced back at Alessa and Inkscape as the villain talked, conflicted over what might be the best course of action. Containment Foam took time to dissolve the solvent after all.

Alessa murmured for a plan, moving to distract the big guy.

At least the civilians were evacuated already....

Lillian glanced back at Ceramix, biting her lip hard enough to draw blood. There had to be something they could do. Just surrendering wasn't an option, was it? There had to be something they could do.

Barely moving her lips, not wanting it to be obvious she was talking while Alessa tried to placate the man, Lillian spoke into her comms as quietly as possible. "We've got two Teleportation Movers. Kyoshi can control rock. We can distract and stall and those three can stop him."

She walked slowly towards Alessa, keeping her front towards Ceramix with her hands up, creating obvious distance from Shatterpoint...

...before she transformed into a form just 8 feet in height, taking a non threatening, but obviously protective, stance around the heroine.
