Okay.. maybe I panic a little when nobody's posted for 10 hours. I have no life outside the internet.

I don't know how much caffeine I've just injested and I'm pretty sure it was all a mistake.

Okay, I've filled in the non-elemental talent section. For whatever reason I didn't see it when I was filling out my CS.

Location - Franklin

Ciel's vision had started to swim in dizzying circles as soon as they'd started to move him, so he had to just assume that he'd been placed down when he stopped moving. Though he could barely see even the closest things, he felt that he was being watched by someone. The eleven year old gritted his teeth, knowing that there was nothing that could be done about it. Most of the voices had gone quiet, so he tried to think of who would logically be in the truck with them. The two injured people, maybe one of the women... he hoped Lyon would be coming, though he had no reason to think he would. Lyon and Sana were the only ones he basically knew, and Lyon especially had been kind to Ciel.

The boy lay limply in the back of the truck, aware of only the darkness and overbearing silence. Though these were good conditions for catching up on sleep, there was little chance of that, for reasons already touched upon. He had barely moved at all since he'd been laid down in the first place. What little energy he had when he arrived seemed to have been sapped by his vomiting spell.

He coughed harshly, taking in weak and labored breaths. Not a good sign. This was possibly the worst time and place in the entire world to have an attack. As much as he felt terrible, he was still fairly intent on not dying. He still hadn't had a chance to prove himself to these people. Then again, he'd never been at all useful to anyone before. Despite this, he'd never quite resigned to being an incompetent liability. He always thought that one day, given the correct circumstances, someone somewhere wouldn't consider him a burden.

Name: Xiao Lin (His name is Chinese, so his given name is Lin and his surname is Xiao)
Age: 11
Year: 1st
Element: Air
Parents: Xiao Tai (Father) Xiao Yun (Mother, deceased)
Appearance:

Typical dress: Casual. Jeans and t-shirts, occasionally a jacket. Notably, he hates wearing shoes and will often go without them. All his clothes look old and second hand, indicating that he's not exactly well off.
Favorite weapon: Prefers not to use violence, but he carries a switchblade.
Hometown: Shanghai, China
Non-Elemental talent: Lin is good with languages. He can speak English, French and Spanish on top of his native Mandarin, and knows sign language as well
Backstory: Lin came from an everyday working class family in the big city of Shanghai, the only child of his parents. His parents both had to work to support the family, so he spent most of his time alone, studying languages as he planned to go abroad when he grew up. His mother contracted bone cancer soon after he was born, and died seven years later. His father, grieved by the loss of his wife, distanced himself from his son even more, making the majority of Lin's life feel like complete isolation even though he resided in one of the largest cities in the world. Like the rest of these kids, he was sent to this school when he turned 11 to hone his Elemental powers, which he'd only just really discovered.
@Oliver Ok. Do you have an Element in mind?

Water or Air. Still deciding, really.
I'll have a CS up tomorrow morning.
Interested! What would the age range be?

Though Ciel remained still as he was moved out of the room, inside his head his mind was swarmed with anxiety about what they might run into on the trip over, what Newnan would even be like, what would happen if the bleeding man expired on the way there and turned while he and the other kid were still trapped inside the back of the truck. Ciel knew neither of them were in any condition to fend off a walker, missing a leg or no. Ciel wasn't even currently in possession of the rifle he'd brought in, or his pack of supplies which included his inhaler among other things. He hoped someone would take those things with them to Newnan, because he'd certainly need them later if he was going to be of any use to the group.

He opened his eyes up, watching the scenery change from the bloodied infirmary to the long, empty hall. How he was going to get down the stairs, he didn't want to think about. But then again, there were countless things about this situation that were far more worrisome. Even though he wasn't moving much himself, the bed being pushed and jostled around rekindled his nausea, and that, along with his consistent anxiety, were what prevented him from getting any rest on the trip up. He decided that if he made it to Newnan, he'd have ample opportunity to recover there.

Ciel still lay pale and listless, unable to so much as move his hand. Starvation and dehydration had sapped all of his energy, and though he was likely going to make it if he got the treatment he required, he felt as though he were on the verge of death. Still, he remained locked in an uncomfortable state of consciousness, forced to listen silently as the others in the room prepared to transport the sick and injured to Newnan.

He wasn't even really sure how long the trip from Franklin to Newnan would be. If it was longer than he anticipated, he'd likely expire on the way over, as would the man with the missing leg. The broken leg kid would almost certainly survive, though that injury of his was likely causing him a lot of pain. Ciel lay as still as the dead, his eyes only partially open as he surveyed the busy infirmary. He'd already committed all the faces to memory, though he still only knew a few of the names that went along with them. He really wasn't looking forward to moving, feeling like any change of position at all would make him start vomiting again.

Ciel overheard Astrid's request to bring the boy with the broken leg and himself along to Newnan with Ray. He wasn't really sure how he felt about that. It would be best if he was somewhere well equipped to treat his advanced malnutrition, but at the same time moving was sure to be uncomfortable. "Oy, vey..." He coughed out, an expression of distaste, the first thing he'd said since he'd taken ill. Hopefully this wouldn't turn into yet another worst-case scenario.

He thought for a moment about what means the others planned to use to get three people, one of whom a full grown adult, out of town with any degree of speed and efficiency. He hoped for the sake of his own fragile sense of dignity that they didn't plan to carry him all the way to Newnan. He'd always hated being carried. especially by strangers. It just felt highly unsafe. He coughed again, a few more drops of blood staining the side of his face. Even though he was on IV and was technically sufficiently hydrated, he felt like he was going to die if he didn't get water within the next hour. Besides that, his stomach hurt and he felt dizzy if he so much as moved a finger. So he continued to lie mostly still, though he remained awake.
